PHILLIPS ARENA

ATLANTA, GEORGIA

SEGMENT 9:  BACKSTAGE:
Back from break, the camera is following Greg Tantalus, who is carrying a baseball bat.  Suddenly, PWA backstage reporter Traci Reed catches up with him.

Traci:  Greg Tantalus... first of all, no one has seen you in the building all day... and now you're spotted carrying a baseball bat.  Can you tell us what's going on?

Tantalus:  Listen Traci, I'd love to stay and chat, but I'm in the building tonight for one reason and one reason only, and that's to get my hands on Mike Griffin.  Last week, he turned my damn sister against me, and he thinks he's gonna get away with it?  This has become way too personal now, and he's gonna get his.  I just got here two minutes ago, and I only plan on being here another few minutes.  I'm here for
Griffin and that's that.

Tantalus then walks away, screaming out Griffin's name.  The camera follows him through the backstage area, until we catch a glimpse of Lauren Tantalus.  Once she sees her enraged brother, she darts away, but Greg gives chase behind her.  She turns a corner, and Greg follows her, only for Griffin to dart out from behind another corner and head in the opposite direction!  Tantalus sees this and quickly makes a U-turn, flying after Griffin!  Lauren Tantalus is screaming for Griffin to run faster, and Greg is swinging the bat as he runs.  Finally, just as Greg appears to be catching up to him, Jonathan Brett emerges from out of nowhere and violently spears Tantalus to the ground!  Griffin stops running and begins laughing, as does Lauren Tantalus a few steps behind.  Brett begins pummeling Greg Tantalus viciously in the backstage area, and Griffin and Lauren get their shots in as well.  As Tantalus writhes on the ground, battered and bloody, the three perpetrators stand over him smiling.  Griffin begins to speak.

Griffin:  You see Greg, I just know you too damn well.  I knew you'd try something like this.  So I prepared myself.  Allow me to introduce you to my new bodyguard... Jonathan Brett.

Cade:  What?!  Jonathan Brett is
Griffin's new bodyguard?!

Madsen:  This is NOT good news for Greg Tantalus:

Cade:  Rick, this isn't good news for ANYONE!

Griffin then slaps Tantalus in the face for good measure before exiting with Lauren Tantalus and Jonathan Brett at his sides.

SEGMENT 10:  BACKSTAGE:
A camera cuts backstage, where The Hot Boy$ and Camieko are sitting before their respective matchups.  Jaguar is in street clothes as he will not be competing, but Romeo and Camieko are both looking ready for action.

Jaguar: This Japanese girl looks really impressive Camieko, you sure you're up for this tonight?

Camieko: Most definitely. This girl has beaten up on the Jades and Liz Rush's of the world, but she hasn’t come up against this yet.

Jaguar: True. Well what about you Rome?

Romeo: You kiddin bro? Here we are in the ATL, the capital of The Dirty South, my hometown. And tonight, I've got a shot to take down Solomon and leave as the brand new Heavyweight Champion of The World. Man, all my fam is out there waiting to see me win. I ain't never been more ready in my life.

Jaguar: That's what I like to hear.

As they talk, the door opens and all three look on as Keiko Ishida walks into the room and stands right in front of Camieko.

Ishida: (Slow, broken English) Camieko, you no put title up tonight. I beat all women here and want title shot.

Camieko: You want a shot at the title tonight? Fine! I'll see you out there!

Jaguar: Whoa, wait up.

Camieko: Nah Jag I got this. I'm leaving right now.

Ishida turns around and exits before Camieko does the same. Both women head to the ring, leaving a nervous looking Romeo and Jaguar behind as we go to commercial break.

-- COMMERCIAL BREAK #6 --

SEGMENT 11:  MATCH 4:  PWA WOMEN’S CHAMPIONSHIP:  CAMIEKO © VS. KEIKO ISHIDA:
Referee:  Dan Martin

Back from commercial, “Samurai” by Juno Reactor hits and the mysterious Keiko Ishida makes her way to the ring to a resounding display of boos.  Ishida, however, pays no attention to the fans and simply steps into the ring, awaiting her challenge.

Cade:  I can’t believe she manipulated her way into this title match.

Madsen:  What are you talking about?  It was a simple challenge and acceptance, nothing more.

Moments later, “Hot Like Fire” by Aaliyah hits and the Women’s Champion Camieko comes to the ring to a big positive reaction from the
Atlanta crowd.  Camieko rolls into the ring and removes her belt, but before she can even get it off, Keiko Ishida attacks her from behind, prompting the bell to sound.

Cade:  Look at this, Rick!  Ishida isn’t even waiting for the damn bell!

Madsen:  If you were in her spot, would you?

Camieko can barely settle herself in the ring as pounds on her with stomps and clubbing blows, looking to keep the champion off balance for as long as she possibly can.  Finally, Camieko manages to regain that balance and battles back, clubbing Ishida with hard forearms.  However, for every forearm that Camieko throws, Ishida comes back with a big forearm of her own.  Finally, Ishida dazes Camieko back into a corner, and violently whips her into the opposite one, following her in with a cartwheel into a spinning elbow smash.  Camieko staggers forward, but Keiko perches her on the top rope, and destroys her with a monstrous superplex!  Keiko covers… one, two, and Camieko kicks out.  However, Ishida remains unfazed.

Cade:  Rick, I don’t like the looks of this.

Madsen:  Neither do I Nick.  Ishida looks like she’s moving in for the kill.

Ishida stands in position, waiting for Camieko to rise to her feet.  When she does, Ishida lunges at her for the STO, but Camieko sidesteps it and carries Ishida’s momentum in a small package… one, two, and Ishida kicks out.  Keiko gets up, but Camieko bridges her… one, two, and Ishida kicks out.  Camieko then ties Keiko up with a crucifix… one, two, and Ishida kicks out again.  Camieko now looks for a victory roll, but Ishida catches her on the float over and slams her down hard!  Then, as Camieko rises to her feet, Ishida, with a running start, destroys her with the STO, smashing Camieko’s head down against the hard canvas!  Ishida covers… one, two, three.

Cade:  Oh my God!  We have a new Women’s Champion!

Madsen:  I don’t believe this!  Keiko Ishida has just run through the entire women’s division and, in only three weeks, has become champion!

The fans boo loudly as “Samurai” hits and the Women’s Championship belt is handed to the new champion, Keiko Ishida.  Most of the people are just simply in shock as the mysterious Japanese woman exits into the haze, the brand new champion, as we take a commercial break.
WINNER VIA PINFALL AT 4:39 AND NEW WOMEN’S CHAMPION:  KEIKO ISHIDA

SEGMENT 12:  BACKSTAGE:
A camera is set backstage, were Showtime Damon Savage and "Not That" Rodney King are walking through the hallways.

Savage: No, I'm serious Rodney. I can't thank you enough for getting me into that six-man Elimination match for The International Title at Revival.

King: Don't mention it Showtime. I owed it to you, the same way I owed you the brand new car I bought you for your early Christmas gift this weekend. I just want you to feel at home again brother, you know?

Savage: Yeah, I hear you.

King: Oh by the way, I completely respect that you didn't want to train Vlad. Quite frankly, he's still brand new to the business here, so he might not be up to par with your expectations anyway.

Savage: I'd say so.

King: But don't worry, I went ahead and found him another trainer.

Savage: Another trainer? Who is it?

King: Well, see for yourself.

Savage opens the door to find both Vydrinas sitting in high school style desks as Jon Dulberg stands in front of a chalkboard, with a pointer in his hand and a whistle around his neck.

Dulberg: Now guys, let me teach you about ring psychology. This is when you go into the ring to outthink your opponent to gain an advantage, not just show up expecting to knock everyone out and then being outwrestled constantly like some people. This is the real stuff here.

The camera pans back to Savage and King, who smiles at Showtime oblivious to his anger as he simply turns around and storms off without making a fuss.

-- COMMERCIAL BREAK #8 --

SEGMENT 13:  MATCH 5:  PWA WORLD HEAVYWEIGHT CHAMPIONSHIP:  SOLOMON © VS. ROMEO:
Referee:  Tom Stevens

The lights dim a bit as the focus shifts to ring announcer Lee Palmer.

Palmer: The following contest is our main event of the evening and it is scheduled for one fall and it is for the PWA Heavyweight Championship of The World!  introducing first, the challenger. From Altanta, Georgia, weighing 263 pounds, he is Da Playboi, he is....Rooooooo-meoooo!

Three D-bombs spark up and explode on impact with the ramp as B.G.'s "Hottest of The Hot" remix takes over the speakers. Seconds later, the roof is nearly blown off The Phillips Arena as Romeo marches through the curtain. The challenger arrives to a hero's welcome and peels off his custom made Atlanta Hawks jersey before tossing it into the crowd and waitinfg on his opponent, who comes as the lights fall and "Hear Me" by Darkseed begins.

Palmer: And his opponent, being accompanied to the right by Walter Gindin and Infernus, from Barrow, Alaska, weighing 300 pounds, he is the undefeated, undisputed PWA Heavyweight Champion of the Worllllld, The Alaskan Monster, Sollllll-o-monnnn!!!

Boos flood the building as Solomon, Gindin and Infernus all step through the curtain. The champion looks extremely confident with his cohorts at his side as he steps over the top rope and into the ring. Solomon takes off the title belt and hands it to senior official Tom Stevens, who holds it until a loud, fiery blast of pyro erupts and "I Got That Fire" by Juvenile and Mannie Fresh hits the speakers!

With the crowd roaring, Jaguar emerges through the smoke and marches down the ramp to stand in his partner's corner. Solomon is visibly upset in the ring, and Romeo takes advantage by sneaking behind him and rolling him up for one...two....and a kickout!

Cade: Jaguar has come out here to even things up a bit and Solomon is already off his game!

Madsen: And with Romeo as fired up as he is here in his hometown, we could see a new champ crowned right here tonight!

Both men reach their feet and Solomon swings a big punch that Romeo ducks before connecting with one of his own. Romeo follows with another and then another before hitting the ropes and sending Solomon down with a clothesline! Solomon reels as he reaches his feet and Romeo comes at him with another clothesline that sends him over the top rope to the arena floor!

Cade: Romeo is on fire right now!

Romeo goes right after the champion, rolling him back into the ring and making a cover. After barely getting a two count, Romeo lifts him to his feet for an Irish whip, but Solomon reverses and takes control of the match with a big boot to the face!

Solomon peels Romeo off the mat and tosses him backwards into a corner where he gives out a blatant chokehold that challenges Stevens' count of five. The champion then delivers a hard Irish whip into the corner and Romeo walks out of it to find himself in a big military press slam that lands him hard on his chest! Solomon takes his time in attemtping a cover and gets a count of one....two....before Romeo kicks out.

Solomon then decides to hunker all of his 300-pound frame atop Romeo in a big rear chinlock that keeps Da Playboi grounded. Jaguar leads the cheers for Romeo to get back in the match and the fans waste no time in responding to his calls.

Cade: This crowd is getting behind Romeo again and he's beginning to come back it seems!

Madsen: He just might be, that adrenaline is coursing through him right now!

Romeo gets up and tries to break the hold with an elbow to the gut, but to no avail. He tries another, and still gets no result. He lands another that finally breaks the hold and he hits the ropes to duck under a Solomon clothesline and level the champion with a shoulder tackle on his return!

Solomon is clearly knocked a little woozy from the collision and he tries to take a swing at Romeo, but the challenger sidesteps it and lifts Solomon up to complete a reverse death valley driver in the middle of the ring! Romeo makes a cover and the fans count along for one........two.......but Solomon powers out at two and a half!

Cade: It looked like Romeo had him right there!

Madsen: We almost had a new champion just like that Nick!

Cade: But look now, Romeo is calling for Dre Day!

Madsen: Can he get that powerbomb on Solomon though? He's 300 pounds!

Romeo calls out to the crowd for his signature maneuver before trying to set Solomon up for it. He gets Solomon into position, but the champion reacts to the dangerous situation by bum rushing Romeo backwards into the turnbuckles. He rams a shoulder deep into the gut again before slamming the challenger down to the mat again. Looking out to the Atlanta faithful, Solomon signals for the Deep Freeze, saying the match is just about over.

Madsen: Solomon is going for The Deep Freeze now, nobody gets up from that Nick!

Solomon grabs Romeo by the hair and kicks him in the gut before hoisting him onto his shoulders. Solomon begins his whirlwind motion for the slam, but Romeo escapes and falls behind Solomon before spinning him around, kicking him in the midsection and absolutely spiking him down to the canvas with The Dre Day Powerbomb!

Cade: Dre Day! Dre Day! Romeo just hit Dre Day on Solomon with ease! Make the count Tom!

Madsen: I think I underestimated Romeo's power, he had no problem getting Solomon up!

Romeo gets down and makes a cover and every voice in the building can be heard counting, but Stevens' attention is diverted by Walter Ginding hopping on the ring apron! Romeo gets off the cover quickly to rush at Gindin, but he alos connects with Stevens at the same time, knocking the referee down and out as Gindin hits the arena floor.

Cade: Now the ref is down!

Romeo goes back to work on Solomon to keep him down, but he doesn't see Infernus pick up the World Heavyweight Title belt and climb into the ring. Infernus waits to blast Romeo with the gold, but as he charges, he is blindsided by a huge spear from Jaguar!

Jaguar wails away with right hands on the head of Infernus, but he is KO'ed from behind when Gindin cracks him over the head with a steel folding chair! Infernus dumps Jaguar from the ring as Gindin takes the chair and hits Romeo right across the back! The problem is, Romeo is unfazed by the blow and immediately begins to stalk the superagent, who drops the chair in fright. Romeo tries to give chase, but he is sent down with an Infernus clothesline and both men soon begins to double team the challenger!

Cade: Oh come on! Gindin and infernus are trying to cost Romeo his chance to become World Champion and there's nothing anyone can do about it! Jaguar is already out on the floor!

Madsen: Wait, there's The Iceman!

The camera cuts up the ramp, where Jason Calysto is flying down the ramp with a chair of his own! He slides into the ring and both Gindin and Infernus take off through the crowd, with the former PWA Champion giving chase!

Back in the ring, Romeo grabs the chair left behind by Gindin. He gets to his feet and goes towards Solomon with it, but the champion springs up and kicks it right back in his face, sending him to the mat in a heap! Solomon takes a moment to gain his bearings as Romeo begins to bleed above his left eye from the chair shot. Sensing and seeing blood, Solomon scoops up Romeo onto his shoulders and sends him crashing to the canvas with The Deep Freeze!

Cade: Damn! Solomon just hit The Deep Freeze on Romeo!

Solomon shakes Stevens loose before covering Romeo in the middle of the ring. He kicks the chair out before the referee can see it and Stevens counts 1------2------3!

Cade: Dammit! Solomon just stole this match in Romeo's hometown thanks to Gindin and Infernus!

Madsen: I've got to agree there, it looks like Romeo was well on his way to taking the title here tonight.

"Hear Me'" plays Solomon from the ring and cuts off as he exits. Romeo is left alone in the ring, bloodied as he tries to get to his feet. He stands in the middle of the ring and his hometown crowd gives him a huge standing ovation for his efforts this evening. He wipes the blood from his eyes to reveal a blank stare as Jaguar recovers enough to roll into the ring behind him. Jaguar goes to raise his partner's hand, but Romeo turns quickly and shoves him down onto the canvas!

Cade: Whoa! What was that?!

Madsen: I'm not sure, but you know Romeo has to be frustrated with the loss right now.

The crowd sits in stunned silence as Romeo quietly hops out of the ring and makes his way back up the ramp. Jaguar is still sitting on the ring floor looking on as Romeo disappears behind the black curtain. The camera follows him down the steps behind the stage and into the backstage area, where Romeo quickly makes a right turn and hops into a nearby car, driving out of the building without speaking a word to anyone or looking back as Frequency comes to a bizarre ending.
