PHILLIPS ARENA

ATLANTA, GEORGIA

SEGMENT 1:  INTRODUCTION:

A video package airs, highlighting events that occurred last week, with Romeo defeating Anthony Failla -- thanks to help from Paul Ferrara -- to earn a shot at Solomon’s PWA Championship tonight.  From there, Linkin Park's "By_Myslf" hits and we are sent inside the Phillips Arena in Atlanta, Georgia, where an amazing fireworks display ensues and we are sent to our commentators for the night, Nick Cade and Rick Madsen.

Cade:  Welcome to PWA Frequency!  I’m Nick Cade, along here again tonight with Rick Madsen, and tonight, we are live in
Atlanta for what promises to be a momentous edition of Frequency!

Madsen:  That’s right Nick.  Tonight, hometown hero Romeo returns to the ATL to challenge Solomon for the World Heavyweight Championship.  What a story it would be for Romeo to come home and end the undefeated streak of the Alaskan Monster and leave the NEW PWA Champion of the World.

Cade:  It certainly would be a great story, but Romeo is clearly NOT the favorite heading into the match.  Speaking of people that aren’t favorites, our broadcast colleague Paul Ferrara will return to the ring tonight, as he seeks revenge on the dangerous Anthony Failla.

Madsen:  I have no idea what’s gonna happen there, but I certainly wish Paul the best.

Cade:  Also tonight, we’ll see the Japanese phenom Keiko Ishida take on the Women’s Champion Camieko in a non-title match, Superstar Scott Hosemann and Darrin Giles of the Legacy against Dynamite Dean Nash and Damien Fields, plus this opening match!  Let’s take you to Lee Palmer at ringside and get this show on the road!

SEGMENT 2:  MATCH 1:  BISHOP CROSS VS. JUSTICE:
Referee:  Billy Vargas

Justice is the first to make his appearance when “Where Da Hood At” by DMX plays, and the crowd greets him with a warm welcome. The former Progressive Champion raises his arms high for the crowd before marching down the ramp and climbing into the ring. Justice poses on all four turnbuckles, and the crowd grows louder for each one.

Cade: Last week on Frequency, Bishop Cross issued an open challenge to anyone in the locker room, and Justice is the one who answered the call.

Madsen: But why would anyone want to get into the ring with that man? Justice may be a veteran, but I don’t think that even he can stand a chance against Bishop Cross.

Suddenly, the houselights plunge the Phillips Arena into darkness. As the opening notes to Andrew Lloyd Webber’s “Phantom of the Opera” plays, the druids pour out from the entranceway, each one carrying a torch. Justice looks on from inside the ring as the druids line up, holding the torches high above their heads. In mere moments, Bishop Cross trudges out from behind the curtain, and the crowd watches as he slowly makes his way down to the ring. Cross climbs the ring steps and raises the lights before climbing into the ring and shedding his entrance attire. Justice does not look intimidated, and proves it by blasting Cross with several rights and lefts!

Cade: Justice is taking it to Cross!

Madsen: Staying on your opponent is a smart strategy, and half the battle is just getting the first advantage.

Cross is stunned by the attack, and Justice manages to back him into a corner. This does not last though, as Cross explodes out of the corner with a devastating clothesline that brings Justice flat on his back. The audience cringes at the sight of this raw power. Cross refuses to ease up and grabs Justice, lifting him back to his feet before driving him back into the mat with a suplex. Cross looks for another suplex, but Justice battles back with a boot to the gut, followed by a crunching DDT! With Cross on the mat, Justice applies an armbar for good measure!

Cade: Cross is in trouble here!

Madsen: Justice is in control! He could take Cross here!

Justice releases the move and drags Cross back up to his feet. He whips Cross into the ropes, then scoops him up on his return and plants him with a sidewalk slam! The crowd cheers as Justice goes for the cover! One... Two... and Justice backs off of Cross and approaches the ropes after seeing Mike Grieco walking down to the ring. The International Champion looks up at Justice and they begin to trade words.

Cade: What does he want out here?!

The crowd begins to boo at the sight of this, and Cross makes it back to his feet. Before long, Justice leaves himself wide open and falls into Cross’ clutches as he destroys him with a disgusting STO. The jeering grows in volume as Cross applies his Grand Finale scorpion death lock with Justice still on the mat. With no where to turn to, Justice feverishly slaps the mat. The bell sounds.

Cade: If Grieco didn’t show up, Justice could have won this thing!

Madsen: Justice should’ve been paying attention to the match! That’s what cost him!

“Phantom of the Opera” plays once more as Grieco walks back up the ramp with a wide grin. Cross also leaves the ring shortly after, showing no emotion or desire to celebrate his latest victory.
WINNER VIA SUBMISSION AT 7:26:  BISHOP CROSS

 SEGMENT 3:  BACKSTAGE:
Coming back from the commercial break, the camera focuses on Kerry Cox as he wanders backstage and is caught up to by Mike Grieco and Dee Licious.

Grieco: Kerry!

Cox: ...Oh, I’m sure answering won’t make my day any better...what?

Grieco: Did you just see the match out there?

Cox: Yeah, I did.

Dee: Then you just saw Justice lose out there! That proves that no one is deserving of a shot at the International Title that my man holds.

Grieco: Yeah, all these people coming after my belt should just leave me alone. I think I already proved that I’m the greatest International Champion of all time.

Cox: (Holds his head in disgust) Riiiight...sure I see your point, and because of what happened, no one deserves a lone shot at the championship. However, since you feel compelled to get involved in all these matches, I have a solution.

Grieco: What’s that?

Cox: Our next big show is Revival, which happens in just over three weeks, and whether or not you like it, you WILL be defending your belt at that pay-per-view.

Dee: Against who?! No one is deserving enough to challenge for the belt!

Cox: If you let me finish, I’ll tell you. It’s going to be Mike Grieco against...Justice.

The crowd cheers as Grieco and Dee look at each other, seemingly worried.

Cox: Against Jon Dulberg.

They quickly look over at Cox in shock.

Cox: Against Steve Beovich, against Scott Hosemann, and against Showtime, in a six-man Elimination Match for the International Title!

Grieco: What?! You can’t do that!

Cox: I just did. Have a nice day.

Cox continues down the hall as Grieco and Dee boil with anger. The crowd is loving each and every moment of it.

SEGMENT 4:  RINGSIDE:

Sevendust's "Black" plays over the PA system, prompting a nice pop for Paul Dawkins as he makes his way down the ramp. The former tag team champion is decked out in his normal street clothes, comprised of jeans and a Philadelphia Eagles T-shirt as he grabs a microphone.

Dawkins: Alright, I'm not even scheduled to be here tonight, but Jackie, you need to hear this. Come on out here.

"Black" hits again and Baccaro makes his entrance to a very mixed bag of cheers and boos. He steps inside the ring and the music ends as Dawkins speaks once more.

Dawkins: Alright man listen. We aren't supposed to be here tonight, but I had something to say and it has to be said right here and now. Week after week, we're busting our asses together in this ring as a team, but the minute something goes wrong, you throw a hissy fit and walk off on me. So what I'm out here to do right now is give you a choice. You can either keep this thing going so what we can do what we do best and rip this tag team division up again, or you can just walk away and forget about the whole thing. But rest assured that I won't take sole blame for our lack of success lately. We win as a team and we lose as a team, so now Jackie, what's it gonna be?

Baccaro takes a long moment to ponder Dawkins’ proposal and then looks out to the fans, which are shouting for several different things.

Madsen: What is he gonna do Nick?

Cade: I have no idea, but I know Paul Dawkins is right. You win as a team and you lose as a team.

Dawkins extends his hand and several seconds later, Baccaro reaches out and shakes it. The two then embrace to a huge roar of cheers from the crowd as "Black" hits again.

Cade: Yes! Dawkins and Baccaro are back on the same page here!

Baccaro raises Dawkins' arm high for all four sides off the arena to cheer and both men soak up the accolades until Baccaro pulls Dawkins in close and levels him with a huge forearm to the chin! Dawkins is absolutely flattened by the blow and falls hard to the canvas before Baccaro unleashes a series of boots about his head and shoulders!

Cade: What the hell is going on?!

Madsen: Jackie Baccaro has had enough! He is beating the hell out of Paul Dawkins right now!

Baccaro shouts at Dawkins before leaving the ring, tossing the timekeeper aside, grabbing his chair from under him and sliding back inside. Dawkins gets to his knees to get up, but is immediately sent right back down with a thunderous chair shot to the head!

Dawkins falls limp on the canvas and Baccaro rears the chair above his head again before dropping it viciously on Dawkins' wide open face, which is now covered with blood. Baccaro then tosses the chair down and smirks to the crowd, which is now booing him passionately as he exits the ring and heads back up the ramp. A group of trainers, officials and EMTs rush out with a stretcher and backboard to assist Dawkins as we head to a commercial break.

SEGMENT 5:  MATCH 2:  DYNAMITE DEAN NASH & DAMIEN FIELDS VS. SUPERSTAR SCOTT HOSEMANN & DARRIN GILES:
Referee:  Billy Vargas

We return to the ring, where Earshot's "Control" is playing The Legacy to the ring. Superstar Scott Hosemann and Progressive Champion Darrin Giles are in the ring for their match, while Justin Schenck and The Naturals stand outside the squared circle. The Prodigy's "Spitfire" hits next, prompting a wave of cheers a "Dynamite" Dean Nash and Damien Fields make their way down to the squared circle.

Cade: I don't want to ignore this match at all, but I just cannot believe what we have just witnessed out here between Jackie Baccaro and Paul Dawkins.

Madsen: Talk about uncomfortable moments. I'm sure we'll get an update on the condition of Paul Dawkins later tonight, but in the meantime, we've got a job to do, so let's get right to it here. If Nash and Fields win this matchup, they will receive a crack at The Naturals' Tag Team Titles next week on Frequency.

The bell sounds with Nash facing off against Hosemann. Hosemann grabs a quick side headlock that Nash fights off by sending him into the ropes. Hosemann takes Nash down with a shoulder block, but he runs the ropes again to only get a Nash dropkick for his troubles. Nash covers for a quick two count that Hosemann easily powers out of.

Both men get to their feet, but Hosemann takes over with a kick to the gut and a huge knee lift that rocks Nash's head back. A tag to Giles follows up, and The Progressive Champion shows his mean streak with an overt chokehold that is broken up by Soares' count of four. Giles twists Nash's arm before locking in a tight arm wrench that has him wincing in pain.

The crowd urges Nash on and he responds by grabbing the ropes to flip backwards out of the wrench and take Giles down with a clothesline! He tags in Fields, who sends Giles back to the mat before he knocks Hosemann down off the ring apron! Kris Anthony jumps up onto the ring apron to bait Fields for a Giles attack, but Fields senses him coming and Giles stops short, nearly hitting his partner!

The brush with disaster goes away, but Giles turns around to be greeted with a big Diamond Cutter from Fields! Fields goes for a cover, but Soares doesn't count as he sees Nash get nailed from behind by a steel chair, courtesy of Speed Demon!

Cade: The Lost Souls are here!

Madsen: What do they want?!

Cade: They're going after Nash and Fields here!

Nash falls from the ring apron and Fields gets off the cover to swing at Demon, but Speed Demon sidesteps it and that leaves Fields wide open for a thunderous shot to the head from Reaper! The bell sounds repeatedly as The Legacy floods the ring to pick away what is left of Damien Fields. They are all having a good time until The Lost Souls turn their weapons on them as well, laying out all five members of The Legacy, including The Tag Team Champions, the Naturals.

Palmer: Here are your winners via disqualification, "Dynamite" Dean Nash and Damien Fields!

Cade: Nash and Fields get a title match next week, but what shape will they be in thanks to The Lost Souls?!

Madsen: What shape will the champs be in too?!

Cade: Who knows? We'll be right back!

WINNERS VIA DISQUALIFICATION AT 8:41:  DEAN NASH & DAMIEN FIELDS

 -- COMMERCIAL BREAK #3--

SEGMENT 6:  BACKSTAGE:

The door to Cox’s office swings open and the Lost Souls storm into the room. Cox looks up from his seat, disturbed by this intrusion.

Reaper: We’ll make this short. We want a shot at the tag titles.

Cox: I’m going to enjoy this. I can’t give you guys a shot at the titles for two reasons. One, even though it was a disqualification, Nash and Fields won that match and have now earned a title shot next week on Frequency.

Demon: Screw Frequency! We want a shot for the titles at Revival!

Cox: And if you would let me get to reason two, you would find out that since they are within the thirty days of title defenses, Justin Schenck has the power, as their manager, to decide who they take and don’t take title matches against. Now, as hard as it may sound, I have actually tried to put a match between the Naturals and the Lost Souls together, but Schenck wants no part of it. The only alternatives for you two to get a shot at the title are to convince Schenck to schedule a defense against you, or if the Naturals drop the titles to Nash and Fields next Tuesday. Otherwise, I can’t help you.

Demon and Reaper look over at each other and stomp out of the room, leaving Cox to go back to his work.

SEGMENT 7:  JUMBOTRON:
The focus shifts to the Jumbotron, where the screen is black until the man known widely as Renegade walks quietly into the picture.

Renegade: It's been a long time since many have seen me. In fact, most people don't even realize that I've been gone from the PWA for almost a year. But that's all about to change because I'm on my way back to the PWA, except things will be different this time. The face of the Progressive Wrestling Alliance is about to change. I stand on my own two now, without loser bodyguards and partners, and now I look out for me, myself and I. So PWA fans, get ready, because I'm a guy that will say anything, do anything, and take anything in order to take what I want. After all, I am....a Renegade.

An instrumental of "Renegade" by Jay-Z and Enimem plays as he walks of the screen and a golden-lettered Renegade logo appears in his place.

SEGMENT 8:  MATCH 3:  ANTHONY FAILLA VS. PAUL
FERRARA:
Referee:  Matt Hansen

Back at ringside, "Murder was the Case" by Snoop Dogg hits and the dangerous Anthony Failla makes his way to the ring, led by a chorus of raucous boos.  Failla looks bent on destruction as he enters the squared circle, looking to make a statement.  As Failla stretches himself out on the ring ropes, White Town's "Your Woman" hits the speakers and the fans begin cheering loudly as PWA color commentator and former CAW superstar Paul Ferrara makes his way to the ring, in his wrestling gear for the first time since June, and only the second time since CAW folded.

Cade:  Listen to this response for our broadcast colleague Paul Ferrara!

Madsen:  These fans really do love him!  And, provided he doesn't get seriously injured here tonight,
Ferrara should be back in the broadcast booth next Tuesday night.

Cade:  That would be great to see, but I have a feeling that's the last thing
Ferrara is thinking about right now.

Ferrara doesn't even give Failla a chance to stare him down, as Ferrara pounces on the big man as soon as he enters the ring!  The bell sounds and the fans go wild, and it is Ferrara that controls the early tempo of the fray, pounding away on his much larger opponent.  Failla finally gets to his feet, but Ferrara doesn't allow that for long, immediately clubbing him back down with a big clothesline!

Cade:
Ferrara is holding his own here, Rick!

Madsen:  Screw that, he's winning!

Ferrara grabs Failla and tosses him hard into corner, following him in with a big splash!  As Failla stumbles forward, Ferrara downs him with a big belly-to-belly suplex!  Then, with Failla down, Ferrara gets the crowd amped up, chopping his legs and getting into a three-point stance!

Cade:  He's going for the flying shoulder tackle!

Madsen:  And if you know anything about Paul Ferrara, when he hits one of these, there are usually three or four right behind it!

As Failla gets up,
Ferrara charges at him, leaping up for the shoulder tackle, but Failla gets his boot up and knocks Ferrara down hard!  Enraged, Failla then rips Ferrara off the mat, grabs him by the throat, and hurls him across the ring.  He then stalks Ferrara, lifting him up and dropping him throat-first against the top rope.  As Ferrara falls down, clutching his throat, Failla perches him on the top turnbuckle.  He then dangles Ferrara off the rope, and hits him with a reverse chokeslam, all the way back down to the mat!

Cade:  This match has taken a turn for the worse.

Madsen:  Yes.  And fast.

As
Ferrara struggles to his feet, Failla gets himself in position.  Once Ferrara is supporting his own weight, Failla lifts him up, high over his head, and blasts him hard with the Almighty Sacrifice.  Failla then thrusts his right boot on Ferrara's chest as referee Matt Hansen makes the count... one, two, three.

Cade:  Well, Paul Ferrara gave that a great effort.

Madsen:  My God Cade, Failla's not done.

Failla quickly shoves Hansen to the ground before going outside the ring and grabbing the bell.  He then props
Ferrara up slightly, before cracking him in the skull with the bell!  Ferrara is now split open and unconscious, but Failla doesn't care.  He continues stomping away on him... until GI Jew comes stampeding down the aisle!  Failla isn't afraid, standing and fighting like a man as Jew comes in the ring, and the two begin brawling viciously.  Failla falls on top of Jew and begins beating the hell out of him with lefts and rights, and quickly, a cavalcade of PWA officials storms the ring to separate the two.  They are only moderately successful as we take a commercial break.
WINNER VIA PINFALL AT 6:21:  ANTHONY FAILLA
