THOMAS AND MACK CENTER

LAS VEGAS, NEVADA

SEGMENT 8:  BACKSTAGE:
The shot takes us up the Las Vegas strip to the MGM Grand, where Showtime Damon Savage is with a bevy of ladies as "Not That" Rodney King is chatting on a cell phone. king hangs up the phone and heads over to his client.

King: Just got off the phone with Bob Arum, we got you up close and personal, front row seats for the next fight he promotes here in Vegas.

Savage: Well Bobby knows how Showtime rolls. Great job Rodney. Hey, I can't get up right now. (Whispers) Thanks to this shorty in the red right here, if you know what I mean. Could you bring me back a White Russian from the bar?

King: You got it champ.

King heads to the bar and places the order, but looks up as he sees The Ring's TV coverage of Vladimir Vydrina. The video package shows the Russian National Champion destroying several opponents, knocking each out with huge right hand shots to the head. The package wraps up showing him posing at a press conference with his title belt draped over the shoulder of Natasha Vydrina, who was last seen on Frequency last week. King shows signs of worry and regret on his face as he grabs the drink and brings it back to Showtime.

Savage: Thanks bro. Hey Rod, why you look so down man? What's goin on?

King: Remember that Russian girl from last week?

Savage: Uh, yeah. Yeah. Natasha I think.

King: I'm not spoiling the party, but we gotta get in contact with her soon. Real soon.

Savage: Rod, the only white Russian I wanna see is this one in my hand right now. We'll get to all that later.

King: (Sighs) Alright champ.

\SEGMENT 9:  BACKSTAGE:
The camera quickly cuts backstage, where the Progressive Champion Dean Nash is being viciously beaten down by Superstar Scott Hosemann, Damien Fields, The Naturals, and Justin Schenck!  No officials have yet hit the scene to quell the assault, but as the beating continues, Damien Fields rushes the scene, looking to even the odds a bit.  However, Fields fails to get the job done and also becomes a victim of the numbers game.  The five assailants beat Nash and Fields down, leaving them defenseless, before the officials finally make their way over to stop the assault and separate them.  Justin Schenck, however, expresses a look of ultimate pleasure as Nash and Fields are attended to, and maintains that look when PWA owner Bryan Conroy gets in his face.

Conroy:  What the hell is your problem, Schenck?!  This kind of behavior is not going to be tolerated!

Schenck:  (laughing) So sue me.  Let's go, men.

Schenck and his crew then exit indignantly, leaving a furious Conroy to seethe in his anger as we take a commercial break.

SEGMENT 10:  MATCH 4:  DAMIEN FIELDS VS. REAPER:
Referee:  Billy Vargas

“Ride The Lightning” by Metallica suddenly plays and bring out Damien Fields. The crowd welcomes him with a decent ovation, and he tags the hands of the audience on his way to the ring. After he’s entered the ring and settled in, Buckcherry’s “Alone” prompts the crowd to boo for the cryptic Reaper. Indifferent towards the crowd, Reaper trudges to the ring and climbs inside. The referee says some words and signals for the bell.

Troy: This is a rematch between Damien Fields and Reaper from Everlasting Epic.

Ferrara: And if I’m not mistaken, Reaper completely destroyed the kid. Honestly, I don’t think anything is going to be different this time around.

Reaper and Fields circle the ring briefly and lock up in the center. Reaper takes hold of Fields’ arm and whips him into the ropes. On his return, Reaper scoops up Fields and plants him with a sidewalk slam. He goes for the cover and looks to put it away early, but Fields kicks out after barely hitting two. Reaper rises to his feet and lifts up Fields off the mat. He irish whips him and crushes him with another sidewalk slam that makes Fields clutch his back in pain. Reaper takes the opportunity to stomp on Fields before lifting him back up. Fields manages to break free from Reapers grip and kicks him in the gut. He shoves Reaper into the ropes, but Reaper clotheslines Fields with an outstretched arm. Reaper goes for another pin, but Fields escapes again with a two count.

Troy: Reaper is firmly controlling this match, but Fields just won’t quit.

Ferrara: I guess he still hasn’t learned his lesson... Hey, what are they doing out here?!

Reaper peels Fields off the mat and delivers a suplex that plasters Fields against the mat. As Reaper rises to his feet, he stares up the ramp and notices Speed Demon and Justice walking down to the ring. They stand by ringside and Reaper continues to watch them, which gives Fields the opportunity to get back to his feet. He rushes over to Reaper and catches his backside, slipping an arm around his head and preparing to deliver a neckbreaker! As Fields leaps into the air to bring Reaper down, his boot accidentally catches the referee’s face! Fields lands the move and both Reaper and the referee are on the mat. At this moment Demon and Justice slide into the ring and surround Reaper.

Troy: Uh oh, this doesn’t look good for Reaper.

Fields is not sure what he should do with the referee down. However, Demon and Justice seem to have other plans. They stand behind Reaper as he slowly rises to his feet. Speed Demon reaches over and spins Reaper around, but turns around and destroys Fields with the Demonizer! Both Justice and the crowd are shocked, but Reaper stares at Demon with a smile. With Fields sprawled out on the mat, Demon looks over at Reaper and stares at him coldly through the corner of his eyes. Speed Demon exits the ring, followed by a confused Justice who questions his partner as to why he attacked Fields and not Reaper. Demon refuses to say a word as they disappear behind the curtain.

Troy: What the hell was that about?!

Ferrara: I guess Reaper isn’t the only unpredictable one.

Reaper watches as they leave the area, and then turns his attention back to a recovering Damien Fields. Before he can launch any kind of counterattack, Reaper effortlessly annihilates Fields with the Passed Judgment Piledriver. With the referee coming back to senses, Reaper covers Fields for the three count.

Troy: That was disgraceful.

Ferrara: You can never really tell what’s going on in the minds of those two, but regardless, Reaper beat Damien Fields tonight.

“Alone” plays once more, and Reaper stares up the ramp momentarily before raising his arms for a less than ecstatic crowd.

 SEGMENT 11:  RINGSIDE:
“Have You Ever Felt” by Ill Nino plays for a less than fanatic crowd, as they decide to boo instead of welcome Mike Griffin, Greg Tantalus, collectively known as TFU, and Lauren Tantalus. Once they’ve entered the ring, Griffin grabs a microphone. He walks over to Greg, who waits for him to speak.

Griffin: I asked you to come out here tonight because I feel that I owe you and all of our fans an explanation. (The crowd boos.) Last Saturday at Walking Wounded, I saw Steven Spielberg in the audience, and that was a big opportunity for me to talk to the guy. That’s why I left the match to you when I thought that Baccaro and Dawkins wouldn’t be getting back up. I’m sure no one thought that Baccaro and Dawkins could take the beating that they did and still manage to stand. But they did, and the rest is history. I mean, it’s unfortunate and unfair, and it’s times like that when we should have been allowed to call a timeout.

The crowd is sickened by this display, and Greg asks for the microphone, which he receives from
Griffin.

Tantalus: Mike, it’s alright. I understand that it was business and that it was something you had to do. If I were in your shoes, I probably would’ve done the same thing. However, I think we can agree that we need a rematch. I mean really, who would have thought that they would make a come back? I’m sure that if both of us were there, then there would be no way that Dawkins and Baccaro would win.

Sevendust’s “Black” interrupts Tantalus from speaking any further and brings out both Paul Dawkins and Jackie Baccaro to the delight of the crowd. They lock eyes with TFU as they head down the ramp and enter the ring. Dawkins, with a mic of his own, speaks when the music dies down.

Dawkins: You can keep whining all you want. The fact is that we beat you fair and fair in a tag team match. Just like the name says, it’s supposed to be a team effort, and we were the better team. It’s not our fault that Griffin decided to run off in the middle of it all.

Baccaro: But because we’re such nice guys, we’ll be glad to give you a rematch, if only to show you that you just don’t have what it takes to beat us. And that’s the team work that Paul and I have.

Before TFU is given a chance to respond, Justin Schenck and The Naturals barge through the crowd burst into the ring, ambushing the tag team champs from behind. TFU and Lauren all look at each other and keep their distance until the damage as been done. As soon as Baccaro and Dawkins hit the mat, The Naturals mercilessly stomp on them while Schenck picks up the mic that Baccaro dropped.

Schenck: Not so fast. We’re not about to let you have all the fun. If anyone around here is getting a title shot at the Tag Team Championship, it’s going to be the guys that just destroyed them. The Naturals.

Dawkins and Baccaro are unable to move on the mat, and with the damage done, The Naturals stare across the ring at TFU. They return an equally menacing glare as the crowd offers nothing but jeers, and we fade to a commercial.

SEGMENT 12:  MATCH 5:  NON-TITLE MATCH:  PWA WORLD HEAVYWEIGHT CHAMPION SCYTHE VS. SOLOMON:
Referee:  Matt Hansen

All eyes turn to the ring as "Hear Me" by Darkseed hits. The crowd boos reach the highest pitch of the evening as Walter Gindin leads Solomon down to the ring for one of the biggest matches of his short career.

Troy: Alright here we go. If Solomon wins this match, he is guaranteed a PWA World Title shot on October 30 at Hellbent in New York City.

Ferrara: The way I see it, he has to. Solomon has to win this match. Scythe wrestled Jaguar for 35 minutes in a win at Hellbent, and then went an hour against him the following night in L.A. in a no contest.

Troy: And we'll never know how that 2 out of 3 falls match would have ended if it wasn't for Solomon running down and getting involved. I hope he gets what he deserves right here and now.

As Solomon waits in the ring, "With You" by Linkin Park begins and the crowd cheers like the Runnin' Rebels have won the national title all over again as Scythe steps onto the stage. The PWA World Heavyweight Champion quickly takes off his entrance gear and holds his title belt high into the air in front of his fire cannons before dropping the belt and charging down into the ring!

Solomon barely has time to react as Scythe jumps up and nails him in the head with rapid fire right hands. Solomon reels backwards and Scythe hits the ropes to nail a clothesline. Solomon still stands after the shot and Scythe hits another that reels Solomon further, but he still refuses to fall. Scythe hits the ropes to try one more time and runs right into a gigantic boot to the face by Solomon!

Ferrara: And here comes the beginning of the end!

Solomon makes a nonchalant cover for a long two count before working over Scythe in a corner. He chokes the champion with his boot until Matt Hansen breaks it up at the count of four. Scythe looks weary in the corner and Solomon picks him up in a front facelock and holds him high before dropping him with a thunderous vertical suplex. Solomon covers again for one....two...and Scythe still kicks out! Gindin pounds the mat in frustration and Solomon looks to finish off the champion by stalking Scythe for The Deep Freeze.

Ferrara: Scythe is done Troy! I can see it coming now!

Troy: Scythe is on some wobbly knees right now, if Solomon hits it, its over for sure!

Scythe finally gets to his feet and turns right into Solomon's grip. The Alaskan Monster hoists him up and swings him in the Deep Freeze, but Scythe floats over and lands behind Solomon before pushing him right into the turnbuckles chest-first. Solomon reels backwards and Scythe grabs him before planting him with a big reverse DDT! Scythe struggles in getting up, but finally does, and signals for The Diving Blade with Solomon still flat on his back!

Troy: Scythe isn't done yet! He's going for The Diving Blade!

Scythe begins his slow climb up to the top rope, obviously spent from his battle. He heads from the middle rope to the top, but he doesn't see Solomon sit up behind him! The Alaskan Monster shakes the cobwebs from his head and Scythe jumps backwards, flipping into Solomon's arms before he drills the champion with The Deep Freeze! Solomon makes an emphatic cover, hooking the far leg as Hansen counts to three and calls for the bell!

Ferrara: And it’s over! Solomon is going to Hellbent!

Troy: Scythe just didn't have enough energy to get by this time and now he will defend the title against The Alaskan Monster in just under five weeks.

"Hear Me" replays as Gindin celebrates, but Solomon stares a long and cold stare at Scythe as the referee checks on him. Solomon looks out to the Vegas crowd and makes a belt motion around his waist, signaling the title coming to the Cold White North in 32 days as Frequency comes to an end.
