THOMAS AND
SEGMENT 1: INTRODUCTION:
A video package airs, highlighting events that concluded
the broadcast of Saturday night's Walking Wounded pay-per-view, with Scythe
defeating Jaguar in a classic encounter to retain the PWA Championship, which
was followed by Jaguar, in a show of class, handing the man who beat him his
championship belt and raising his hand in victory to close out the night.
From there,
Troy: We'll see if Beovich thinks it's the same thing because, folks,
that match is for the International Championship, and it starts right now!
SEGMENT 2: MATCH
1: PWA INTERNATIONAL CHAMPIONSHIP: MIKE GRIECO © VS. THE OMEGA STEVE BEOVICH:
Referee:
Jason Church
The action is all set to kick off as Lee Palmer steps inside the ring and speaks as "Da Repercussions" by 50 Cent begins.
Palmer:
The opening contest is scheduled for one fall and it is for the PWA
International Championship! Introducing first, being accompanied to the ring by
Dee Licious, from
Grieco arrives to a chorus of boos from the crowd and neither he nor Dee Licious is shy about showing their disdain for the fans. Grieco climbs into the ring and hands his belt to Jason Church, prepared for another title defense as White Zombie's "More Human Than Human" takes over.
Palmer: And his
opponent, from Boston, Mass., weighing 204 pounds, The Omega, Steeeeve Beovich!
Beovich walks out to a huge round of cheers from the crowd and looks very focused as he makes his way down to the ring, sporting a bandage on his forehead to cover the 15 stitches he received after his bout with Jon Dulberg at Walking Wounded.
Beovich climbs into the ring and the bell sounds. Grieco wastes no time in going to work on Beovich, kicking him in the midsection and going after his wounded forehead with big overhand rights. Beovich fights back, blocking a Grieco punch and coming back with two of his own, but Grieco takes firm control of the match with a knee to the side and a big belly-to-belly suplex.
Grieco covers, but only gets a two count. Undaunted, Grieco gets up and clamps on a rear chinlock. Beovich loses energy quickly, but the crowd brings him back into the match with their cheers. Beovich manages to break the hold after three elbows to the gut, but he hits the ropes only to be caught in a huge gorilla press slam from Grieco!
Grieco calls for his Double Powerbomb finisher and the crowd boos as he sets Beovich up for it. But their jeers turn to cheers once Anthony Failla lumbers down the ramp, trying to get into the ring!
Grieco and Dee yell for the referee to stop Failla's charge and he does, with the help of nearly a dozen other PWA officials. Grieco turns back to Beovich, who springs up and drills him in the chest as he tackles him down to the mat! Grieco clutches his chest as Beovich pounces on the top rope and nails his frog splash to complete Extreme Precision!
Beovich crawls over to Grieco and hooks both legs as Church counts one...two...three!
"More Human than Human" hits again and Beovich
rejoices with the title he last held over a year ago. Grieco pounds the mat
repeatedly in frustration and

SEGMENT 3: RINGSIDE:
Back from commercial, we see our commentators, Victor Troy and Paul
Ferrara at ringside.
The camera then shows Jaguar and Kerry Cox in the parking lot of the
Jacksonville Arena, speaking to a crowd of roughly 2,000. It then cuts to a shot of Kerry Cox speaking
at the podium.
Cox:
We feel that it is a tremendous opportunity for the PWA to take the
event of Revival to a whole new level this year. With the event being held on
New Year's Eve for the first time in history, its the perfect way to close 2004
and bring in what I'm sure will be an amazing 2005.
The shot then shifts to Jaguar at the podium.
Jaguar:
I couldn't be any happier to finally have a pay-per-view event held
right here in my hometown. I began my career here and I can't wait to bring it
all back on December 31. Revival has been very good to me in the past and I'm
promising right now to all you fans here in The 'Ville that it will be just as
good to you this year. Let's bring in 2005 the right way and show the entire
world on pay-per-view that
The camera then cuts back to
Suddenly, the sounds of “Hear Me” by Darkseed claim the attention of those in
the crowd, who offer wave after wave of jeers directed at the monstrous
Solomon. He walks down the ramp with Walter Gindin following closely behind,
and while Gindin bears a proud smile, Solomon holds a serious expression. They
enter the ring simultaneously, and Gindin moves over to the side to snatch a
microphone. He hands it over to his large client, who takes it and speaks to a
booing crowd.
Solomon: Hell in a Cell is over, and so is GI Jew. (The crowd boos even
louder.) That pathetic match was over before he even set foot in that ring. But
it was his own decision to face me, and he suffered the consequences when I
Deep Freezed him through the top of the cage and to the ring below. I have to
say that I enjoyed doing it, but despite that, it’s GI Jew’s own fault that
he’ll be out of action for four to six weeks. So now that he’s out of the way,
it’s time for me to go onto bigger and better things.
He hands the microphone back over to Gindin.
Gindin: Solomon means one thing only. You see, he’s proven time and time again
that he is an unbeatable monster. He’s been undefeated in singles competition
for over a year, and yet, there’s still one thing missing. That is the PWA
Championship belt that rightfully belongs to Solomon, and not around the waist
of some outdated samurai! Since Solomon still doesn’t have the belt in his
possession, then he should be the number one contender for the belt. Therefore,
we demand a title shot for the PWA Championship belt right-
“With You” by
Scythe: Why are you letting this guy talk for you? You know, if you wanted a
shot at my belt, you could’ve asked me yourself. In either case, I’d be glad to
get the chance to cut you down and end your streak. You just need to tell me
when you want it to happen.
Solomon looks over to and demands the microphone from Gindin, who quickly
offers it.
Solomon: How about...now.
Scythe nods and tosses the mic to the ground and unhooks the belt from around
his waist. The crowd is prepared to see a war, and Scythe removes his silver
and black shirt and tosses it to the side. Gindin slips out of the ring to the
outside as Solomon and Scythe circle the ring, but Thursday’s “Understanding in
a Car Crash” suddenly plays and brings out Bryan Conroy. Carrying a mic of his
own, he hurries down to the ring.
Conroy: Whoa! Guys, wait a second! Look, I’m sorry, but a match like that needs
to go through me first. It certainly can’t happen just because you two feel
like it. And while Solomon may deserve a title shot, he is not the man to
represent this company. In all honesty, it would be a cold day in Hell before I
let Solomon wear the PWA Championship.
Solomon begins to look furious as the crowd cheers. Gindin climbs back into
the ring and argues their point, but Conroy holds his hand up.
Conroy: I heard you before, and I know that I can’t ignore Solomon’s record and
the results that he produces. But you see, that title match won’t happen
tonight. No matter how good your record is, Solomon, you still have to earn
your title shot. And the problem is, you got this crowd all riled up for a
match up between you two, and I don’t like to disappoint them. So tonight, you
will earn your title match for Hellbent... But you will only be named the number
one contender if you can pin Scythe in a non-title match tonight in the middle
of the ring. So gentlemen, I suggest you get a little preparation done.
“Understanding in a Car Crash” hits again as Conroy exits the ring, leaving
Scythe and Solomon to engage in a heated stare down. They mouth words off to
each other and the crowd is pumped up to see the match later tonight.

SEGMENT 4: BACKSTAGE:
Back from commercial break, we see Jonathan Brett and a
wheelchair-bound Miracle Mike Troha in their dressing room.
Brett: He's here.
Troha: Great, bring him in.
Brett then opens the door, and a saxophone-laden Kenny G enters the room, a big
smile etched on his face.
Kenny G: Mikey! How are
ya! I'm so glad to see you're recovering well!
Troha: I'm getting there. Thanks for accepting my invitation,
Kenny. You see, ever since I've been put in this wheelchair, it's made me
think about a lot of things I hadn't thought about before. And you know,
for as big of an asshole I was being, you have always been very good to
me. So, to make amends, since we’re here in Las Vegas, I brought my bass
guitar with me, and even though I'm in this wheelchair, I thought we could go
out to the ring in a little bit and jam. I'll play bass, you play the
sax, and Mr. Brett over here will play big scary bodyguard.
Kenny G: What a great idea! I can't wait for that, man! Let
me go get ready, I'll see ya in a short-short!
Kenny G then exits the room enthusiastically, and Brett turns to Troha in
disbelief.
Troha: What? C'mon, it's a good idea. Trust me.
SEGMENT 5:
MATCH 2: PWA WOMEN’S CHAMPION
CAMIEKO & LIZ RUSH VS. LAUREN TANTALUS & JADE:
Referee:
Dan Martin
We return to the
ring, where VAST's "Free" begins. Boos flood the building as Lauren
Tantalus strolls through the entrance and down the ramp. The cocky former
Women's Champion steps through the ropes and into the ring as
"Zerospace" by Kidneythieves takes over. A similar greeting comes for
Jade, who angrily marches down the ramp and into the ring, not even bothering
the glance at her partner as she stares up the entryway.
Joydrop's
"Thick Skin" hits and perhaps the loudest ovation of her short career
meets Liz Rush as she makes her entrance. Rush and Jade immediately lock eyes,
but the newcomer doesn't dare step in the ring as Lauren Tantalus looms.
Aaliyah's "Hot Like Fire" hits next and the biggest ovation comes for
Camieko, and The Women's Champion quickly makes her way down the ramp to even
the sides.
The bell sounds and
Jade demands to start the match, but she does so against Camieko. The two lock
up and Jade pulls Camieko back into a corner by her hair. Dan Martin scolds
Jade, who responds with three knees to the side to keep Camieko cornered. Jade
openly chokes Camieko to Martin's count of four, causing a break of the hold.
She backs up and charges, but Camieko stops her cold with a boot to the face!
Jade stumbles
backwards and Camieko floors her with a big clothesline before getting to her
corner to bring in Rush. Liz Rush backs Jade up with one, two, and then three
punches before shooting her to the ropes and nailing a dropkick!
Rush scoops Jade
from the mat, but Jade quickly rakes her eyes before delivering a hard tag to
Tantalus. The former Women's Champion charges into the ring, but is met by
three fists from Rush. Liz Rush whips Tantalus into the ropes and sends her
flying with a big back body drop before bringing Camieko back into the ring.
The champion sends
Tantalus back into a corner and stands on the middle rope to blast her with ten
punches to the head. camieko climbs down and Tantalus stumbles out before
falling flat on her back to the delight of the crowd. Camieko sees this and
quickly heads outside to the top rope for her St. Kinard Splash, but she is
knocked from the top by Jade!
Rush runs back into
the ring to take down Jade and the two battle outside the ring. Tantalus gets
to her feet and kicks the still dazed Camieko before turning her upside down
and slamming her with a Tiger Driver! Dan Martin gets into position and logs a
count of 1--2--3!
"Free"
hits and Tantalus scoffs at the champion, still on her back as the victor exits
quietly, walking past a still-battling Jade and Liz Rush on the way.

SEGMENT 6: RINGSIDE:
Back from commercial, "Arcarsenal" is blaring
over the speakers, and The Miracle Mike Troha is in the ring with his
wheelchair and his bass guitar, alongside Jonathan Brett.
Troha: Alright, ladies and gentlemen, it's time for a jam session!
So, without any further adieu, let me welcome the guest of honor, Mr. Kenny G!
Kenny G then makes his way out from behind the curtain to a mixture of
light-hearted cheers, savage boos, and audible laughter. Shortly
thereafter, Kenny G and his saxophone step into the ring, and he shakes hands
with both Brett and Troha.
Kenny G: So Mikey, what did you
want to play?
Troha: Hmm... How about... "Oh Happy Day." Wanna give
that one a try?
Kenny G: Sure thing.
Kenny G and Mike Troha then begin busting out "Oh Happy Day," and the
fans don't really know how to respond. After about a minute, they finish
playing the song, and they shake hands. The fans are either silent or
booing.
Troha: You know, Kenny, this really has been a happy day. And you
know what? It's about to get happier.
Kenny G: What do you mean?
Troha: Now!
With that, Jonathan Brett turns Kenny G around, tosses his saxophone to the
ground, grabs him by the throat, and chokeslams the musician to the ground...
and the
Troha: Die, you miserable bastard! This is all your fault!
All of this! Brett! Give him the samoan driver! Kill him!
Brett obliges, and fans begin to realize that this is going too far.
Brett lifts Kenny G off the mat and grabs him, but just before he can hit the
move, Romeo rushes out from the backstage area and clotheslines Brett to the
ground! As Romeo wails away on Brett, Troha tries to run over Romeo's
foot with his wheelchair. The attempt proves futile, however, and Romeo
grabs Troha's chair and wheels him straight into the turnbuckle! Troha
and his chair crash into the corner and the fans cheer. Brett then gets
up and Romeo clotheslines him over the top and to the arena floor! With
that, "Hottest of the Hot" hits the speakers and the fans cheer
wildly, with Romeo helping Kenny G back to his feet and to the backstage area
as we take a commercial break.

SEGMENT 7: MATCH 3:
THE ICEMAN JASON CALYSTO VS. THE HUMAN HIGHLIGHT JON DULBERG:
Referee:
Tom Stevens
Back at ringside, "Not Falling" by Mudvayne hits
the speakers and the fans are momentarily confused until Jon Dulberg makes his
way out from behind the curtain to a response of deafening boos.
Ferrara: New music for a new man,
Ferrara: And who do you think should be the first in line for a shot,
given what happened at Walking Wounded? That's right, Jon Dulberg.
As Dulberg readies himself in the ring, "F*ckin in the Bushes" by
Oasis blasts onto the speakers and the fans begin cheering wildly for the Iceman
Jason Calysto. Calysto makes his way down to the ring, a grin on his
face, and he stares into the eyes of Jon Dulberg, who is all business tonight.
The bell sounds and the match gets underway, with Calysto and Dulberg
immediately locking up in the center of the ring. Calysto takes the early
advantage, wrestling Dulberg to the mat immediately, and slapping him in the
back of the head, just to show him who the superior wrestler is. Dulberg
doesn't like this display, and responds by immediately bouncing to his feet and
nailing Calysto in the jaw with a big right hand. Dulberg continues to
pummel the Iceman, beating him into a corner, where he stings him with furious
chops.
Troy: I'm sure if you asked Calysto right now, he'd say it is nothing he
can't handle.
With Calysto leaning forward, Dulberg grabs him and stings him with a belly-to-belly
suplex. Dulberg goes for a cover... one, two, and Calysto kicks
out. Without hesitation, Dulberg immediately goes after Calysto's arm,
wrenching in an armbar. Dulberg sits out and twists the arm, pushing his
weight back into Calysto, taking over the leverage. Calysto has a
difficult time in the manuever, struggling to reach a vertical base.
However, the Iceman, resourceful as he is, finds another way out of it, locking
Dulberg in a triangle choke from the position! The fans cheer at this and
Dulberg quickly lets go of the armbar. However, Dulberg is now stuck in a
Calysto triangle choke!
Dulberg does just that and, knowing he can't get to the ropes, the Human
Highlight fights to a vertical base, grabs hold of Calysto's arms, gains
control of them, and lifts up the Iceman, powerbombing him down to the
mat! Dulberg goes for a cover... one, two, and Calysto kicks out!
Dulberg grows frustrated at this point, and signals for the Seventh Inning
Stretch. Jon Dulberg begins the setup for the move, but Calysto ties him
up in a small package! One, two, and Dulberg kicks out! Dulberg
then springs to his feet, angry, as Calysto does the same. Dulberg works
over Calysto with fierce right hands and shoots him into the ropes, but as the
Iceman returns, he nails him with the Spinning Heel Kick!
With the fans energized, Calysto sets Dulberg up for a mafia kick.
When Dulberg reaches his feet, Calysto does exactly that, nearly taking
Dulberg's head off with the kick! Then, Calysto signals up top, looking
for the Bottom Line! However, as Calysto ascends the top rope, Infernus
rushes down the aisle and shoves the Iceman off the top rope, crashing down to
the arena floor!
Referee Tom Stevens calls for the bell, awarding this match to Calysto via
disqualification. On the outside, however, Infernus continues to kick and
stomp away on Calysto, before lifting him off the ground and whipping him hard
into the steel barricade! Calysto springs back, and Infernus then shoots
him shoulder-first into the steel steps! The fans boo raucously as
Infernus turns and exits. Meanwhile, in the ring, Dulberg is beyond
pissed off at the fact that his shot to defeat Jason Calysto has just been
taken away.
