LINCOLN FINANCIAL FIELD

PHILADELPHIA, PENNSYLVANIA

SEGMENT 1:  INTRODUCTION:

The FBI warning flashes onto the screen, before fading into a comprehensive video package featuring PWA Champion Scythe, GI Jew, Jaguar, Jason Calysto, and Vulture airs, set to “The Outsider (Resident Renholder Mix)” by A Perfect Circle.  The video is in black and white, with each superstar giving a few lines about the meaning of Everlasting Epic and what this night bodes for their careers.  After this, another video airs, this one set to the event’s theme, “Beautiful” by The Dreaming, running down all of the matches on tonight’s show.  At its conclusion, we are taken to Lincoln Financial Field in Philadelphia, where we catch sight of an elaborate gold and white set, featuring a long aisle and extensive lighting, along with the most massive and awe-inspiring PWA set ever constructed for the PWA’s first outdoor pay-per-view.  From there, an amazing pyrotechnics display ensues, with fireworks shooting from the set and ring, lighting up the dusky evening sky!  As the exhibition concludes and the fans go insane, we are taken to our commentators, Victor Troy and Paul Ferrara!

Troy:  Ladies and gentlemen, the time has finally come!  The night:
August 21st, 2004.  The occasion… Everlasting Epic 3!  Folks, I’m Victor Troy, along here with Paul Ferrara, and the biggest night on the PWA calendar is finally upon us!

Ferrara:  That’s right Troy, and personally, I am jacked!  We’ve got some absolutely HUGE matches here tonight, and Troy, I don’t even know where to start!

Troy:  Well, before we start, let’s talk for a moment about what went down last night.  Right across town last evening, at the Liacouras Center, we had the PWA 2004 awards ceremony and first-ever Hall of Fame inductions.  You can look back on that historic evening by clicking HERE, but Paul, I’ve gotta say, there was nothing like experiencing that live last night.

Ferrara:  Oh absolutely Troy.  The acceptance speeches for the Hall of Fame by Mike Tortorici, Jason Calysto, and Vulture were things I’ll never forget, and the awards show itself was a blast.

Troy:  Of course, Solomon crowned Wrestler of the Year, and tonight, he might very well add PWA Champion to that impressive resume, as he meets GI Jew and the champion Scythe in a triple threat match with the title on the line.

Ferrara:  That’s right,
Troy.  Of course, before he gets to that match, he’ll have to take down Bryan Conroy and Kerry Cox in a dangerous gauntlet match, but whether he succeeds in the match or not, Solomon is in tonight’s main event, and he is poised and ready to become champion of the world right here tonight in Philly.

Troy:  Also tonight, it will be the final match of Vulture’s illustrious career, as he goes one-on-one with Greg Tantalus.

Ferrara:  This should be an explosive showdown, and an intensely personal one at that.  It’s one of the matches I’m most anticipating.

Troy:  And how about the Philadelphia street fight?  It’s Jason Calysto against The Machine, and if Calysto wins, Machine is gone from the PWA and Calysto is back on the roster.  However, if Machine wins, Calysto simply drops the charges relating to Machine burning down his retirement home.

Ferrara:  Another extremely personal affair.  I think we’re gonna see a different Jason Calysto than we’ve seen in the best, and honestly, I can’t wait.

Troy: And of course, Jaguar and
Hollywood Mike Griffin will meet up in another highly-anticipated bout.

Ferrara:  Talk about two guys that simply legitimately hate each other.  Those two are gonna get down and dirty, and whichever one of them gets the most breaks will win.

Troy:  Alright, well enough talking, ring announcer Lee Palmer is ready, so let’s head to the ring and get this show started!

SEGMENT 2:  MATCH 1:  PWA PROGRESSIVE CHAMPIONSHIP:  TRIANGLE LADDER MATCH:  SHOWTIME DAMON SAVAGE © VS. DYNAMITE DEAN NASH VS. JAMES BIAMONTE:
Referee:  Matt Hansen

The bell rings as “2 of Amerikaz Most Wanted” by 2Pac and Snoop Dogg plays first for this unique match, bringing James Biamonte out for the Philadelphia crowd. Jeers are thrown his way as he marches down the ramp with a face that displays his determination to capture the Progressive Title. Once he climbs into the ring, Dean Nash appears at the top of the ramp to a new theme: “Spitfire” by The Prodigy. The fans cheer him on, and he acknowledges them with a show of respect. Nash enters the ring and immediately gets into the face of Biamonte. They exchange words with each other before G Unit’s “Footprints” takes over and the crowd boos as Showtime Damon Savage appears from behind the curtain. “Not That” Rodney King follows closely behind as Showtime raises his arms, as if he were deaf to the crowd’s heckling.

Ferrara: The Progressive Title will be on the line tonight as Showtime Damon Savage defends the gold against Dean Nash and James Biamonte in a unique Triangle Ladder Match.

Troy: This match was brought up by our commissioner, Kerry Cox. Basically, it’s a Triple Threat and Ladder Match combined. You will have to race up the ladder to get the belt, but at the same time deal with two other men.

Ferrara: Triple Threat matches are already dangerous, but putting a ladder in there just makes it hectic.

Showtime heads into the ring as “Not That” Rodney King returns to the back. Showtime poses for the crowd and removes his belt, then hands it to referee Matt Hansen. The ref holds the belt up high for the crowd to see, then hooks it onto the cable where it is then raised high into the air. Without another second, the match begins with Nash and Biamonte immediately jumping on Showtime and getting an early beating on him.

Ferrara: That’s not fair, they’re ganging on the champ!

Troy: It’s every man for themselves, Paul! And besides that, this is probably for the beating that Showtime gave both of them last Tuesday!

With Showtime down and writhing on the mat, Biamonte takes the quick initiative and attacks Nash while he has his guard down. Biamonte battles Nash into the ropes, then knocks him to the arena floor with a clothesline. Nash lands hard on the outside and the crowd boos, while Biamonte takes the opportunity to go back to work on Showtime. However, Showtime has him scouted and drills him into the mat with a DDT. Showtime takes the advantage and lifts up Biamonte, punishing his upper torso before whipping him into the ropes. On his return, Biamonte whips out his arm and he and Showtime clothesline each other to the mat. Nash gets to his feet to see this event, and with both men down, he digs under the ring and pulls out the tool for victory, the ladder. The crowd pops at this sight, and he slides it into the ring.

Troy: Dean Nash has a chance here!

Ferrara: Get up, Showtime!

Nash rolls into the ring, but Showtime and Biamonte are already stirring. Nash picks up the ladder as Showtime and Biamonte stand up, and Nash runs forward, knocking down both competitors at the same time! The crowd cheers as Nash sets up the ladder in a hurry! Nash begins his ascent to the top and reaches for the belt, but Showtime sees his position as champion in danger and tackles the ladder, tipping it over and landing Nash awkwardly on the mat. Showtime wastes no time in picking up Nash and delivering a release german suplex that sends Nash flying into the ladder. The crowd cringes and Showtime gets to his feet. Biamonte has also gotten his bearings and begins duking it out with Showtime, who gets the upper hand this time. Biamonte loses his balance and Showtime shoves him into the ropes. Showtime throws an arm out, but Biamonte ducks the clothesline and surprises Showtime with a crushing JB Cutter! Showtime clutches onto his own head on the mat and Biamonte takes the chance and goes for the ladder!

Troy: Nash is down and Biamonte just hit Showtime with the JB Cutter!

Ferrara: He can do it here, Troy!

Biamonte sets the ladder into place and climbs up the ladder! The crowd is screaming bloody murder! But as Biamonte barely manages to get a hand on the belt, Nash has had plenty of time to recover at this point and shoves the ladder, ruining Biamonte’s chances of winning the Progressive Title! Biamonte hits the mat hard as the ladder falls to the ground, and Showtime climbs to his feet. The champion sees one competitor down and goes right for Nash. The brawl for a short exchange, but Showtime pulls off an uppercut that sends Nash off his feet. He walks over to Biamonte and stomps on his back, to ensure that he won’t be rising any time soon. Showtime grabs the ladder and places it in the middle of the ring, looking up at the title that is hanging twenty feet in the air. He hesitates for not a moment longer and races up the ladder!

Ferrara: Yes! Showtime’s gonna win it!

Troy: Don’t be so sure about that! Nash doesn’t look done yet!

As Showtime reaches the top and groggily fumbles with the belt, but Nash is quick to notice his chance slipping away. Nash pushes the ladder from the side, and Showtime is horrified! The ladder tips over and bounces against the ropes, sending Showtime plummeting to the outside, hitting the ground with a sickening thud! Before Nash can grab the ladder, Biamonte is already on his feet and closes in on Nash. Biamonte goes for the Buzzkill, but Nash has it scouted! Nash reverses out of the maneuver and shoves Biamonte hard! Biamonte flails backwards, smacking his body against the unforgiving steel of the ladder. With Biamonte down, Nash quickly sets up the ladder! He tiredly journeys up the steps, but Showtime pushes himself to his feet! Just as Nash manages to get to the top and gets his hands on the belt, Showtime rolls into the ring. Showtime lunges for the ladder, but Nash finishes unhooking the belt! The ladder is shoved hard and Nash ends up landing on Showtime!

Troy: Nash did it! Nash is the new Progressive Champion!

Ferrara: It’s utter mayhem in there! Someone get the medic!

The ladder has fallen to the side, and all three men are plastered against the mat. Despite the face that he isn’t moving, “Spitfire” by The Prodigy plays and Dean Nash is announced the new Progressive Champion.
WINNER AT 14:20 AND NEW PROGRESSIVE CHAMPION:  DYNAMITE DEAN NASH

SEGMENT 3:  MATCH 2:  REAPER VS. DAMIEN FIELDS:
Referee:  Dan Martin

Metallica's "Ride the Lightning" begins and the crowd begins to cheer as PWA newcomer Damien Fields steps out. The rookie takes a glance at the massive crowd and looks tremendously excited for his first-ever pay-per-view appearance.

Troy: This has got to be some rush for this kid. His first pay-per-view matchup and he's at Everlasting Epic in front of 70,000 people.

Ferrara: That's true, but he has to make sure that hype doesn't get to him. Reaper is a veteran who has seen crowds like this before. He won't have any mercy on this kid whatsoever.

Troy: After the way he set Fields up and attacked him in Atlantic City on Frequency, I think Reaper better not underestimate this guy.

As Fields nears the ring, "Alone" by Buckcherry hits and Reaper storms out to a series of boos. He ignores them all as usual and runs right into the ring to start the match. Fields is waiting on him and immediately scores with punch after punch after punch until he finally knocks Reaper through the ropes and down to the arena floor.

Reaper tries to regroup, but Fields doesn't want to give him the chance. He bounces off the opposite side ropes and soars through the cables to connect with a big suicide plancha right onto the chest of Reaper!

The crowd cheers his aggressive style and Fields rolls Reaper back into the ring for a cover. He gets a one...two...and Reaper kicks out. Fields goes up to the middle rope and sends Reaper back down with a double axe handle before covering again for another two count. Reaper stays down a little longer this time and Fields tries to press his advantage even further.

Troy: Fields is staying right on him here.

Ferrara: Which is a good move. He's taken Reaper out of this match early, for now.

Fields clotheslines Reaper down twice and signals to the crowd for his Diamond Cutter finisher. Reaper struggles to his feet and Fields tries to snatch him in it, but he shoves him forward violently! Martin barely moves out of the way and Fields goes chest-first into the turnbuckles.

Reaper charges at him for a splash, but Fields moves away and he crashes with the corner isntead. Reaper staggers backwards and Fields spins him around to connect with a Diamond Cutter right out of the corner!

Troy: Diamond Cutter! Cover him Damien!

Ferrara: Kick out Reaper!

Fields makes a cover for one....two...and Reaper takes advantage of the ring position to get his foot on the bottom rope. The crowd boos as Martin stops the count and Fields demands an explanation. He takes too long in recieving one as he tries to go back on offense and runs right into a huge powerslam from Reaper! Reaper covers for one...two...and Fields barely kicks out.

He pulls the rookie up by the hair and slings him into a corner. He charges at him again, but Fields jumps up and out of the corner and inadvertently lands right onto Reaper's shoulder. The former Progressive Champion takes a step out and delivers his Passed Judgment Piledriver with tremendous impact on the canvas!

Ferrara: There's the pildriver from Reaper, this one has got to be over now!

Troy: Wait, he's not covering him here.

Reaper yells at Fields, who is motionless on the canvas before he is dragged up again. Reaper holds him up again before drilling him with a second Passed Judgment Piledriver right on his head! Reaper thinks about making a cover, but shakes his head and decides to head to the top rope.

Troy: The man is beaten, what is he trying now?!

Reaper soon answers the question as he jumps off the top rope and nails his somersault leg drop known as The Last Breath! Reaper then covers Fields emphatically as Martin makes an academic count to three.

Troy: This was some display by Reaper, what was he trying to prove to this young kid here?!

Ferrara: I told you there'd be no mercy Troy. Reaper is looking out only for Reaper now, and that isn't good news for anyone around here.

WINNER VIA PINFALL AT 5:54:  REAPER

SEGMENT 4:  BACKSTAGE:

The camera cuts backstage, where Traci Reed is standing by with Hollywood Mike Griffin and Smooth Greg Tantalus.

Reed:  I’m here with TFU, and guys, heading into your matches tonight against Jaguar and against Vulture, how will you try to defeat two men who just pinned you in tag team competition not even two weeks ago?

Griffin:  Traci, are you aware that this is Everlasting Epic?

Reed:  Yes.

Griffin:  Are you aware that this is the biggest PWA pay-per-view event of the year?

Reed:  Yes.

Griffin:  Then why are you wasting time on the biggest show of the year asking us questions that everyone already knows the answer to?

Tantalus:  You idiot!  Maybe as a team, they can get the job done, maybe we’ll give them that.  But break it down individually.  Vulture’s neck is FINISHED.  He can’t go through another match.  You know, Vulture, that was a touching speech at the Hall of Fame inductions last night, it really was.  But you’re gonna wish that your career ended one night earlier when this night is over.  I guarantee it.  You won’t walk out of here tonight.

Griffin:  And Jaguar, you can dig up all the past references you want.  They don’t mean a damn thing to me.  The only thing I care about right now is going out there tonight in front of 70,000 people and exposing you for the joke that you are.  Last year, I exited Everlasting Epic victorious, in grand fashion, and I don’t expect this year to be a damn bit different.  I’ll see you in the ring… junior.

SEGMENT 5:  MATCH 3:  GAUNTLET MATCH:  SOLOMON VS. BRYAN CONROY & KERRY COX:
Referee:  Jason Church

Solomon, the undefeated colossus from the frozen tundra of Alaska continues to cast his shadow over the PWA ranks, as he casts his shadow over the Lincoln Financial Field for his second Everlasting Epic appearance.  Walter Gindin follows his client toward the ring, and the usual mood of fear and loathing that this entrance creates finds a substitute in a desperate cry from the fans, for an end to his path of destruction.  Solomon climbs into the ring, over the top rope of course, and awaits his opponents as calmly and stoically as a man who's at sleep.

Troy:  The very foundation of this company has decided that this man's dominance has gone on for long enough.

Ferrara:  Indeed.  And yet Solomon seems to have no fear whatsoever of the two legends who are going to come down that aisle one by one to take him out.  Then again, just look at him...

The opening notes to "War Machine" don't even make it to the initial whole note breakdown by the time Kerry Cox has reached the ring in a blur of the hardcore violence upon which his career fed.  The crowd barely has time to exhale a complete cheer as the bell rings, and Cox bombards Solomon with a turret of rapid fire left and right hooks.  Solomon quickly tumbles backwards into the corner, and as the crowd comes to its feet, Gindin flies into a panic and climbs into the ring.  Cox senses him, and turns around with a fierce, threatening wind-up.

Gindin damn near pisses himself and scampers out of the ring before Cox even has a chance to blast him, which elicits a still escalating pop.  Cox turns around in time to duck a Solomon boot, kicks him in the gut, and then blasts him with a swinging Coxsucker DDT!  Camera flashes go off as Cox covers for the one, two, and no!  Solomon kicks out with so much authority that Cox is launched hard into the corner, rattling the ghosts of his past injuries.  Solomon then gets up, and blasts the incoming Cox with the Deep Freeze out of nowhere.

Troy:  Shit.

Ferrara:  Hey you'd be fined if this weren't PPV you know!

Solomon shakes out the cobwebs of Cox's beating and takes no chances, covering tight as the referee counts one, two...yes, three.  The crowd is silenced and horrified, although Solomon does not offer them the usual sadistic grin of affirmation.  He doesn't have time to, as "Understanding in a Car Crash" explodes over the speakers.  The referee barely has time to help Cox out of the ring as Bryan Conroy slides into the ring, and follows the Cox method of opening attacks on Solomon.  The result is even more effective this time, as Solomon drops!

Conroy takes Solomon straight down to the mat with a flying tackle full of right haymakers to the middle of Solomon's face.  Solomon however, quickly launches Conroy off of him, and attempts to catch his rebounding approach with the Deep Freeze!  However, Conroy pushes himself off of it, and blasts Solomon with the Sambo Suplex!  Conroy hooks the leg hard as the referee counts one, two, thr--no!  Solomon this time barely gets a shoulder up, and the crowd responds with what is probably the most tremendous pop ever for an unsuccessful pin attempt.

Ferrara:  What?!  He didn't pin him!  What are these morons cheering about?!

Troy:  No, he didn't pin him!  But that may have been the closest anyone has ever come to--oh man, no way...

Solomon recovers, and blasts Conroy effortlessly with the Deep Freeze.  Solomon leans down to pin, but Gindin protests from the outside, demanding an additional Deep Freeze.  Solomon shrugs, and complies, much to the chagrin of the crowd.  Gindin then commands Solomon to finally cover him, but this time Solomon simply grins at Gindin through the cascade of blood gushing from his nose, and opts to demolish Conroy with a third Deep Freeze.  Solomon covers, one, two, three.  Solomon simply looks around at the crowd and simply motions around his waist.

Troy:  I can't believe this.  This entire company will be hurled into chaos.

Ferrara:  Believe it.  I don't see any way in which we're not looking at our new PWA World Heavyweight Champion here later tonight.
WINNER VIA PINFALL AT 3:39:  SOLOMON

SEGMENT 6:  MATCH 4:  PWA INTERNATIONAL CHAMPIONSHIP:  MIKE GRIECO © VS. ANTHONY FAILLA:
Referee:  Tom Stevens

Anthony Failla emerges from the behind the curtain, and it is clear that each step has been more momentous than the last since he left his dressing room.  Failla cracks his knuckles has he makes his way down the ramp, and his demeanor is not so much the usual face of wild intimidation.  Instead, he seems focused.  It seems as if he has come to terms with the idea that he can hurt Grieco more by taking what means the most to him than he can physically.  Of course, the roaring fans make it obvious that they want to see this pain in any way possible.

The PWA Intercontinental Champion commences with a rare solo entrance, as he has told his manager Dee Licious to stay in the back.  Mike Grieco doesn't look any less confident, however.  Of course, the crowd isn't any less resentful of him as well.  "Da Repercussions" by 50 Cent booms over the Lincoln Financial Field's sound system as he strides down to the ramp, smugly shaking his head at the monster that awaits him in the ring.  Grieco slides into the ring, slaps himself a couple of times, and demands the opening bell.

Troy:  I hope he told Dee to not watch the monitor either.

Ferrara:  Oh c'mon, Troy.  Look at him.  He looks ready to take on ANYTHING.

Grieco hands the referee the belt as the bell rings, and then springs into action, peppering an incoming Failla with a flurry of stinging lefts.  Failla shakes them off as quickly as he can, standing his ground, but Grieco comes out of nowhere with a kick to the gut that has him reeling a couple of steps back.  Grieco then charges with a clothesline, but Failla then uncharacteristically ducks it, and takes Grieco down to the mat hard with a spear!  Failla pummels Grieco mercilessly, and the crowd cheers in celebration as Failla is merciless!

Grieco attempts to shield the blows, but Failla is unrelenting, as the eventually the referee tries to intervene and call for a clean break so that some semblance of an opportunity for an actual contest may arise.  This brief distraction is all Grieco needs to tear into Failla with a brutal eye rake that elicits a shriek of pain previously unheard of out of Failla.  Grieco immediately crawls out of the ring, and attempts to take a breather, but Failla wastes no time reaching through the ropes, and dragging Grieco's entire body back into the ring with one quick jerk of his arm!

Troy:  Whoa!  What a display of strength!

Ferrara:  Grieco better do something fast!

Failla tosses Grieco toward the ropes in one fluid motion, and blasts him with a big boot, leveling him.  Grieco rolls onto his stomach and attempts to crawl toward the ropes again, but Failla pounces on him like a cat, and locks on a vicious camel clutch!  Grieco claws at the mat, attempting to get out from under Failla, but to no avail!  Failla torques back with such brutality that even the fans must interrupt their applause for a gasp in the midst of Grieco's deafening screams, which culminate as he taps out!  The referee immediately calls for the final bell!

Troy:  And just like that!  Just like that!  Grieco's four month reign as PWA International Champion comes to an end!  Just like that Grieco gets what was really coming to him!

Ferrara:  Oh c'mon, is this really necessary?!  Failla won't let him go!  Is he too stupid to realize he's won?

Failla maintains his grasp on the hold, and Grieco seems like he'll soon be on the verge of passing out from the pain.  Countless officials flood the ring, and try to free Grieco, but Failla responds by laying them out left and right, in a berserk fit!  The bell rings ceaselessly, until eventually ring announcer Lee Palmer announces that the referee has reversed his decision, and as a result of Failla's outrageous behavior, Grieco wins by disqualification, and retains his title!  Failla's rage escalates, and a small army of security arrives to finally restrain him.
WINNER VIA DISQUALIFICATION AT 4:16 AND STILL INTERNATIONAL CHAMPION:  MIKE GRIECO

SEGMENT 7:  BACKSTAGE:

The camera cuts backstage to the interview area, where Scott Cornelius is with The Machine.

Cornelius: Machine, you are now just a short while away from facing Jason Calysto in a street fight. This could end up being your last-ever PWA appearance, what is on your mind?

Machine: Last appearance? I can't believe people are really giving this guy a shot against The Machine. He's been out for eight months. He couldn't beat me then, and now he comes back to take me on in a fight with no rules. The math is simple here. I am The Machine. I am the most physically dominant superstar to ever lace up a pair of boots and whether Calysto is a Hall of Famer or not, nothing will stop me from sending him back into the land of retirement from which he came. It’s time to let his final massacre begin.

SEGMENT 8:  MATCH 5:  RUDY MONTENORA VS. JONATHAN BRETT:
Referee:  Billy Vargas

Rudy Montenora enters the arena to Eminem’s “Lose Yourself” to a decent reaction from the crowd. He slides into the ring and poses for the crowd, before his music dies down and is replaced by “Quake 1” by Nine Inch Nails. Jonathan Brett marches out from behind the curtain to new theme music, much to the dismay of the crowd. The jeers don’t faze him in the slightest bit as he climbs into the ring, going right for Montenora and getting this match started. In the early exchange, they get into a brawl that Montenora gets the advantage of. Montenora grabs Brett and whips him into the ropes, and downs him with a vicious clothesline on his return. Montenora goes for the cover and only gets a one count.

Troy: He’s not gonna put Jonathan Brett away that easily.

Ferrara: Montenora has to stay on his game if he wants to win it.

Montenora waits in the corner and looks out into the crowd. He grins and signals for his finisher. Brett groggily rises to his feet, and is popped in the head by a monstrous Superkick, courtesy of Montenora! He looks to end it early and goes for the pin, one, and a kick out. Montenora is confused, but he gets to his feet and lifts up Brett, who returns the favor with a devastating Chokeslam that lands Montenora on his back. He doesn’t stay down for long, however, as Brett peels Montenora off the mat and plants him with the Samoan Driver.  With Montenora down, Brett covers... one... two... three.

Troy: ... WHAT?!

Ferrara: (Laughing hysterically) So long, Rudy! Thanks for dropping by!

The crowd is in shock and Brett raises his arms. “Quake 1” by Nine Inch Nails plays once again and Brett leaves the ring, leaving Montenora down and out.
WINNER VIA PINFALL AT 1:08:  JONATHAN BRETT

SEGMENT 9:  MATCH 6:  SUPERSTAR SCOTT HOSEMAN & BRIGGS VS. JON DULBERG & THE OMEGA STEVE BEOVICH:
Referee:  Jose Soares

As the ring clears, “Control” by Earshot blasts onto the speakers and the confusion of the crowd is soon changed to raucous boos as they realize that Justin Schenck is leading the duo of Superstar Scott Hosemann and Briggs to the squared circle.  Hosemann and Briggs settle in the ring, with Schenck giving them last minute instructions, as “More Human Than Human” by White Zombie blasts onto the speakers and the team of The Omega Steve Beovich and Jon Dulberg make their way to the ring to a sizeable ovation.  The two waste no time, darting right into the ring and battling with Hosemann and Briggs as the bell sounds.

Troy:  They’re not gonna waste a minute!

Ferrara:  Of course not!  There’s real bad blood here!

As the ring calms down, Dulberg and Hosemann are left standing, and it is Jon Dulberg who pounds Scott Hosemann into oblivion, looking to get revenge for the months of injury that were brought upon him.  Dulberg downs Hosemann into the corner, stomping away on him.  However, Hosemann is able to reach up and tag in Briggs, who immediately downs Dulberg with a monstrous clothesline.  Briggs pounds away on Dulberg, but Dulberg ultimately makes it back to his feet and begins slugging it out toe-to-toe with the big man.

Troy:  Look at this!  Dulberg isn’t afraid!

Ferrara:  Well, he should be!

Dulberg pounds away on Briggs, stunning him momentarily, before Briggs violently shoves Dulberg into his corner.  Dulberg stands there, dazed momentarily, but before he can get back into the action, Steve Beovich tags himself in and starts pounding on Briggs.  Dulberg looks noticeably confused and pissed off as he exits the ring, watching Beovich do the work that he feels was his.  Beovich downs Briggs with a big dropkick and looks to pour on the intensity as Briggs rises back to his feet.  Briggs gets up swinging, and slugs away with Beovich.  The Omega tries to whip Briggs into the ropes, but Briggs reverses and sends Beovich there instead.  Beovich bounces off the ropes and dives at Briggs with a forearm, but Briggs ducks it and Beovich connects with Jon Dulberg’s head, knocking him off the apron!

Troy:  Oh my!

Ferrara:  That had to hurt!

Dulberg falls off the apron, clutching the side of his head, with a noticeably angry look on his face.  Briggs goes over and tags in Hosemann, and the two begin to double-team Beovich.  Dulberg motions as if he’s going to burst into the ring to make the save, but instead, he waves his hands in the air and begins walking to the back!

Troy:  What the hell is he doing?!

Ferrara:  He’s leaving, Troy!

The shocked Philadelphia crowd boos raucously as Jon Dulberg doesn’t even turn back, exiting the ringside area and returning backstage, leaving Steve Beovich all alone with Hosemann and Briggs.  Justin Schenck smiles at the fortunate turn of events, and instructs his men to go in for the kill.  With that Hosemann nails Beovich with a huge Superstar Stunner, immediately going for the pin.  The referee counts… one, two, and Beovich kicks out!  The fans cheer this kickout, but moments afterward, Briggs comes into the ring and destroys Beovich with a brutal powerbomb.  Then, as the icing on the cake, Hosemann lifts Beovich up again and delivers a second Superstar Stunner this one even more thunderous than the first.  Taking no chances, Hosemann hooks both legs… one, two, three.

Troy:  I don’t believe this, Paul.  This is absolutely despicable.

Ferrara:  What would possess Jon Dulberg to do something so cowardly?  Troy, I don’t get it.

In the ring, “Control” hits the speakers again, and Hosemann and Briggs celebrate their victory with Justin Schenck, and the fans don’t like it one bit.
WINNERS VIA PINFALL AT 4:44:  SUPERSTAR SCOTT HOSEMANN & BRIGGS

SEGMENT 10:  BACKSTAGE:

The camera immediately cuts backstage, picking up Jon Dulberg on his way out of Lincoln Financial Field.  Just as Dulberg is about to exit the building, PWA backstage reporter Nick Cade catches up with him.

Cade:  Jon!  Why’d you do it?  Why did you leave Steve Beovich for dead in that ring just now?  What the hell is wrong with you?!

Dulberg:  You want to know why?  I’m sure you all want to know why.  Well, you’re gonna have to wait.  This Tuesday, live on Frequency, I’ll tell you exactly why.  But for now, Cade, get the hell out of my face.

Dulberg then palms Cade’s head and shoves him to the ground, prompting a wave of boos to rush over Lincoln Financial Field as Dulberg exits the building.

SEGMENT 11:  MATCH 7:  PWA WOMEN’S CHAMPIONSHIP:  LAUREN TANTALUS © VS. CAMIEKO:
Referee:  Dan Martin

Back at ringside, “Hot Like Fire” by Aaliyah blasts onto the speakers and we are ready for our women’s championship encounter.  The fans cheer passionately as the Hot Girl Camieko makes her way down the aisle, looking focused and ready to bring home her first PWA Women’s Championship.  As Camieko settles in the ring, stretching out on the ring ropes, VAST’s “Free” hits the speakers and the crowd cheers wildly for Lauren Tantalus, the reigning champion.  Lauren, looking extremely serious and not her normal self, immediately heads into the ring to get a quick start on Camieko, prompting the bell to sound.

Troy:  Not the start I expected here.

Ferrara:  Well Lauren doesn’t look herself right now, but I don’t disagree with the move.  She’s trying to jump right on her, and it’s not a bad idea.

Lauren beats Camieko into a corner, but Camieko doesn’t stay idle for long.  Camieko realizes that this is the biggest opportunity of her career and tries to take full advantage of it, quickly reversing the momentum and hitting Lauren with repeated forearms.  Camieko whips Lauren against the ropes, and blasts her with a big powerslam as she returns!  Lauren tries to get back up, but Camieko downs her with a big dropkick!  Camieko continues mounting the pressure in this fashion, until flooring Lauren long enough to put on the STF!  Camieko locks the hold in tightly!

Troy:  This could be it, Paul!  We could have a new champion right here!

Ferrara:  I don’t think so, Troy, look how close Lauren is to the ropes!

Indeed, Lauren was right next to the ropes and was able to reach out and grab them to stay alive in this match.  This forces Camieko to break the hold, and Lauren uses the opportunity to be granted a second chance by completely taking over the match.  Lauren slows the pace of the encounter down, trying to soften Camieko up for her famed Tiger Driver.  After several minutes of work, Lauren has Camieko worn down to a point where she feels the time is opportune for the move.  However, when Lauren attempts it, Camieko backdrops out, and then clotheslines Lauren down hard!  Using the small window of opportunity she has just been granted, Camieko runs to the top rope and dives off with her St. Kinard Splash, connecting with thunderous impact!  Camieko hooks the leg… one, two, thr-and Lauren kicks out!

Troy:  What a kickout!

Ferrara:  There is life in the champion yet!  What an impressive kickout!

Lauren makes it back to her feet, but she is immensely groggy, as the St. Kinard Splash took almost everything out of her.  Camieko grabs Lauren and whips her into the ropes, following her in running.  As she reaches the corner, Camieko tosses Lauren to the ground, jumps up to the top rope, and nails a second St. Kinard Splash!  Camieko hooks the leg tightly… one, two, three!

Troy:  Unbelievable!  Camieko has done it!

Ferrara:  We have just crowned a new PWA Women’s Champion right here at Everlasting Epic 3!

The fans cheer wildly as “Hot Like Fire” blasts onto the speakers, and Camieko celebrates with the gold for the first time, tears in her eyes.

Ferrara:  Camieko has reached the pinnacle of the women’s division after a two-year journey, and now, having lost the title, one has to wonder if the road is now cleared for Lauren Tantalus to retire with Vulture and leave the wrestling business for good.

Troy:  Who knows, Paul, but right now, the only thing we know for sure is that Camieko is the top dog in the women’s division here in the PWA!  Unbelievable!

WINNER VIA PINFALL AT 6:51 AND NEW WOMEN’S CHAMPION:  CAMIEKO

SEGMENT 12:  BACKSTAGE:

The camera cuts backstage, where Rick Madsen is standing by with the Iceman Jason Calysto.

Madsen:  Jason Calysto, in just a few moments, you will step into the ring with The Machine, your first visit to the active ring in eight months.  However, tonight, it will be in a street fight environment, with a great deal on the line.  If you lose, you essentially lose nothing but the right to prosecute Machine for burning down your house, but if you win, you are officially reinstated into the PWA, and Machine is gone for good.  What are your thoughts?

Calysto:  Well Rick, you said it all.  You might say that I have nothing to lose in this match.  I see things a little differently.  You see, I do have something to lose tonight.  I can lose the opportunity I’ve been given to right a terrible wrong.  I never should have lost that career-ending match to the Machine eight months ago, but somehow, I let it happen.  He was the better man that night.  But tonight, I’ve got a second chance.  And Rick, if you know the first thing about me, you know that you don’t give a guy like the Iceman a second chance.  I’m not gonna sit here and say this is nothing I can’t handle, because I honestly don’t know.  I’ve been out of the game eight months and I’m facing a guy at the top of his game.  But you know what?  I’m feeling good.  Being inducted into the Hall of Fame last night was a huge thrill, but tonight, I’m looking to become the only Hall of Famer on the active roster.  I don’t know what condition I’ll be in after all is said and done, but the bottom line is that when it’s time to shut up and wrestle, there’s no one better than the Iceman.  Never has been.  Never will be.  It’s on.

With that, Calysto heads to the ring and the fans cheer wildly.

SEGMENT 13:  JUMBOTRON:

An extensive video package airs, highlighting the long and brutal feud that has taken place between Jason Calysto and The Machine, focusing on activities that have taken place in the past year, including the infamous career ending match, Calysto costing Machine the PWA title, Machine burning down Calysto’s house, and the challenge and acceptance for tonight’s match.

SEGMENT 14:  MATCH 8:  PHILADELPHIA STREET FIGHT:  THE ICEMAN JASON CALYSTO VS. THE MACHINE:
Referee:  Matt Hansen

The camera cuts back to ringside, where we are ready to go with our street fight.  As the fans begin to cheer, Fear Factory's "H-K" explodes onto speakers, prompting the capacity crowd to erupt into furious jeers.  The Machine then emerges from behind the curtain, soaking in each and every negative reaction he receives.  Machine steps into the ring, stretching himself out on the ropes.  Moments later, as Machine readies himself, the lights go out and "F*ckin in the Bushes" explodes onto the speakers, sending the crowd into a frenzy.  The Iceman Jason Calysto emerges from behind the curtain and the crowd goes unglued.  Calysto, wearing the same white and blue tights that he wore last year at Everlasting Epic, walks down to the ring, with a purpose.  Calysto wastes no time, sliding into the ring and immediately slugging it out with The Machine!

Troy:  They're not going to waste a minute!

Ferrara:  Troy, Machine burned Calysto's house down!  Would you wait a minute to beat the holy hell out of him?!

Calysto has the upper hand in the beginning of the battle, pounding away on Machine with furious lefts and rights.  Machine is backed into the corner and Calysto refuses to relent, hitting Machine with a thunderous right that knocks him through the ropes and out to the arena floor!  Calysto follows Machine to the outside and continues mounting the pressure, which is met with great approval from the crowd.  Machine slowly gets back to his feet, trying to fend off the rabid attack, and eventually does so by reversing a Calysto whip into the guardrail, sending the Iceman flying into the steel solidly.  Calysto grimaces in pain and Machine goes in for the kill, knocking Calysto down with a big right.  Machine lifts Calysto up and whips him hard into the steel steps, sending Calysto crashing to the ground.  The force of Calysto hitting the steps knocked them away from the post, and Machine lifts them up and smashes them down hard into the Iceman's back.

Troy:  That HAD to hurt!

Ferrara:  At this rate, I don't know how long Calysto is gonna last!

Calysto slowly reaches a vertical base, but Machine is there to continue pouring on the pressure.  The two battle up the entryway, going further and further back.  Calysto, having regained an advantage, pounds Machine into the side barrier and charges at him with a clothesline, sending both men tumbling into the crowd!  Once in the crowd, the battle continues, with Calysto and Machine battling all the way through the section and out into the concession area!

Troy:  Nothing is off limits for these two!

Ferrara:  At this point, they aren't concerned with anything but tearing each other to pieces!

Machine slams Calysto's head onto the concession table, dazing the Iceman.  Machine continues mounting the immense pressure as the war continues.  The two battle over to a staircase, and Machine lifts Calysto off the mat, looking to toss him down the stairs.  However, Calysto slips out and shoves the Machine, sending the big man tumbling all the way down!  Calysto, without hesitation, follows Machine down the stairs and continues beating on him with reckless abandon.  The two are now bordering on the outside of the building, right outside the Eagles store.  Fans are clamoring on either side of them, attempting to become a part of the action, but Calysto and Machine simply tune them all out.  Machine gets back to a vertical base and starts taking control again, this time tossing Calysto into the Eagles store.

Troy:  What the hell are they doing in the store?!

Ferrara:  Troy, get a grip!  It’s a street fight!

Once inside the store, the two continue their brawl until they finally make their way back out of it, brawling on the concrete.  Machine nails Calysto with a big forearm that knocks him down the steps outside the building.  Machine then walks over to him, lifts him up, and destroys Calysto with a huge Rockbottom on the concrete!  Machine smiles and makes the cover… one, two, and Calysto kicks out!

Troy:  Calysto escapes!

Ferrara:  Troy, the man had his house burned down.  He’s not going down that easily.

Machine, in a bit of disbelief, begins stomping away viciously on Calysto, hoping to quell any desire he had of getting back to a vertical base.  However, Calysto does indeed rise again, and begins again trading blows with Machine.  Calysto, on sheer will alone, begins establishing an advantage in the encounter and, in one fell swoop, nails Machine with a huge enziguri!  Machine crumbles to the ground in a heap and Calysto makes the cover… one, two, and Machine kicks out!

Machine slowly gets back up, but the slugfest now continues, with Calysto staggering Machine backward with repeated rights and lefts.  The brawl carries the two stars back into the confines of the stadium, where they brawl throughout more concession stands.  Eventually, they are taken back to an escalator, and they tumble onto it, punching one another furiously.  The escalator goes up with them on it, and soon, they are back at the field level, where they started.  The two continue their brawling, back into the crowd, and through the section until they reach the barrier to the ringside area once again.  Calysto pounds Machine into the barrier, backs up, and mafia kicks him over the top of the barrier and down to the arena floor!  Calysto then perches himself on the barricade and, as Machine rises, takes him down with a variation of the Bottom Line!

Troy:  The Bottom Line!  Is that going to be it?!

Ferrara:  Let’s find out!

Calysto covers… one, two, and Machine kicks out!  Calysto is a bit frustrated, but doesn’t let it get to him.  With Machine in position, on the outside of the ring, Calysto senses his opening and locks Machine in the Crippler Crossface!  The crowd cheers wildly at the maneuver and Calysto locks it in with all his might.  Calysto reaches deep down, hoping for Machine to tap and end the madness, but Machine refuses to die.  Slowly, Machine makes it back to a vertical base and, with Calysto still grabbing onto him, backs up, sending Calysto smashing into the ringpost.  This forces Calysto to break the hold and, with that, Machine rolls him into the ring and steps back inside, going for the kill.

Troy:  Machine is looking to end it right here.

Ferrara:  Let’s see what kind of luck he has.

Calysto slowly gets back to his feet, but Machine takes his head off with a huge boot to the jaw!  With Calysto lying prone, Machine signals to the top rope for a move he hasn’t attempted in months.  Machine gets up top and dives off with the Rage of the Machine senton bomb, connecting with furious impact!  The hearts of the Philadelphia faithful are in their throats as Machine covers… one, two, and Calysto kicks out!

Troy:  Yes!  Calysto is still alive!

Ferrara:  I don’t believe it!

Machine is furious, but undaunted, as he looks to polish Calysto off with the one move left in his arsenal that hasn’t been tested tonight:  the Jackhammer.  Machine lifts Calysto off the ground but, out of nowhere, Calysto spins him around and hits a huge spinning heel kick!

Troy:  The spinning heel kick!

Ferrara:  You know what that means, Troy!

Troy:  This match is almost over!

Machine slowly gets to his feet, but when he does, Calysto destroys him with the Icebreaker!  The fans cheer wildly as Calysto slowly makes his way over to make the cover.  At length, Calysto drapes an arm over Machine’s chest… one, two, thr-NO!  Machine kicks out!

The fans are let down by the kickout, but still cheer Calysto on as he looks to capitalize on the advantage.  Calysto lifts Machine off the ground, but now it’s Machine’s turn to surprise Calysto out of nowhere, shouldering him hard into the midsection and grabbing him for the Jackhammer!  As the hearts of the fans in attendance completely drop, Machine nails the Jackhammer with thunderous precision!  Machine hooks the leg… one, two, thre-NO!

Troy:  WHAT?!?  No one has ever kicked out of that before!

Ferrara:  Troy, this is unbelievable!  Jason Calysto has just done the impossible and kicked out of the Jackhammer!

Machine is absolutely furious, and shoves the referee to the mat in immense frustration.  Machine grabs Calysto and launches him over the top rope, looking to end this once and for all.  Machine takes the Iceman and puts him on top of the announce table, signaling for another Jackhammer, this time through the table, to finally end this match.  Machine mounts the table and prepares for the move, but Calysto blocks it!  Then, as Machine attempts the move again, Calysto slams Machine down, locking on the Crossface for a second time!  The fans come bursting out of their seats, waiting to see if Machine will tap out.  Calysto locks on the move tightly, wrenching in with everything he has.  They are perched on top of the table and Machine has nowhere to go.  Finally, exhaustingly, after a virtual eternity in the move, Machine does the unbelievable… he taps out!

Troy:  OH MY GOD!  OH MY GOD!  JASON CALYSTO HAS DONE IT!

Ferrara:  This is unbelievable!

In unison, Lincoln Financial Field explodes with thunderous cheers as the bell sounds and “F*ckin in the Bushes” blares over the speakers.  In disbelief, Calysto collapses on the ground, tears nearly forming in his eyes.  Machine, however, is still perched on the table, not even moving a muscle.  A furious “Iceman” chant breaks out and Calysto is genuinely touched.

Troy:  After eight long months, Jason Calysto has now earned the right to return to active competition in the PWA!  It was a long, exhausting road getting here, but ladies and gentlemen, Jason Calysto is back!

Ferrara:  And how about the Machine?!  Troy, I can’t believe I’m saying this, but The Machine is finished!  He is gone from the PWA forever!

Troy:  And Paul, NO ONE is gonna miss him!

Calysto continues his celebration at length, celebrating with the 70,000 fans in attendance.  However, once Calysto clears out, Machine is treated much more harshly from the fans, being serenaded with a stirring rendition of “Na Na Hey Hey Goodbye” as he exits a PWA ring for the final time.
