HSBC CENTER

BUFFALO, NEW YORK

SEGMENT 7:  JUMBOTRON:

The Dreaming’s “Beautiful” hits the speakers and we see a graphic appear on the screen that reads “PWA Everlasting Epic III Report.”  From there, the shot takes us to a backstage set and PWA reporter Ron O’Brien, who is standing in front of a backdrop featuring the EE3 logo.

O’Brien:  Hello ladies and gentlemen, my name is Ron O’Brien and this is the Everlasting Epic report.  On Saturday night, August 21st, the PWA’s third-annual spectacular, Everlasting Epic, will come to you live from the beautiful Lincoln Financial Field in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania!  The gorgeous one-year-old outdoor facility will play host to the PWA summer spectacular, which is sure to be the show of a lifetime.  As is always the case with Everlasting Epic, there are sure to be some surprised and special features in store.  Last year, we rocked the Superdome in New Orleans, and this year, Everlasting Epic III is already sold out, as 70 thousand people will rock Philadelphia!  So far, several matches have been announced for the show, and they are as follows:

In a triple threat match for the PWA Championship, the Modern-Day Samurai Scythe will defend against both GI Jew and the Alaskan monster Solomon!

In what will be his farewell match, Vulture will collide with Smooth Greg Tantalus!

In a match announced earlier tonight, retired legend The Iceman Jason Calysto returns to meet The Machine in a Philadelphia street fight!  If Calysto wins, Machine must leave the PWA, and Calysto would be allowed to return to full-time action!

Mike Grieco will put the International Championship on the line against the dangerous Anthony Failla!

Paul Dawkins and Jackie Baccaro get their chance at vindication when they challenge the Naturals in a rematch for the Tag Team Championship!

In a gauntlet match, Solomon will meet Bryan Conroy and Kerry Cox, just hours before his shot at the title!

In a match signed earlier this week, Jaguar will go head-to-head with Hollywood Mike Griffin!

Also just signed, Jonathan Brett will battle Rudy Montenora!

And, in a match signed earlier tonight on Frequency, Showtime Damon Savage will defend the Progressive Championship against Dynamite Dean Nash and James Biamonte in a thrilling triangle ladder match!

That’s all for this week, folks.  For the Everlasting Epic report, I’m Ron O’Brien, saying see you next week!

SEGMENT 8:  BACKSTAGE:
A camera cuts backstage to a dressing room, where The Hot Boy$ are preparing for the upcoming battle royal. Jaguar looks extremely focused as he finishes taping his right hand and pounds his fist into his palm.

Romeo: You sure look ready over there Jag.

Jaguar: Oh I am man. Ever since Mike Griffin cost me winning the Golden Ring, I've wanted a title shot more and more and more. Since Scythe won the belt, nobody has come closer to beating him than I have. He didn't beat me and I didn't beat him, but if I get another shot, I know I'll win that title again.

Romeo: You might be right, but as for tonight, I'm looking to get my shot at it cuz.

Jaguar: I feel you Rome, we both paid our dues just like everyone else in there, but only one of us is gonna win.

Romeo: Well it ain't the first battle royal we've been in, let's just make sure The Hot Boy$ are the last two at the end.

Jaguar: Bet.

SEGMENT 9:  MATCH 3:  NON-TITLE MATCH:  PWA WOMEN’S CHAMPION LAUREN TANTALUS VS. LIZ RUSH:
Referee:  Jason Church

NYCW alumnus Liz Rush makes her way to the ring for her singles debut on PWA Frequency.  It is clear from the crowd reaction to her appearance that she has already made plenty of enemies since her debut in a tag match last week.  Rush looks very smug and cocky, and she climbs into the ring in eager anticipation of her opponent.  "Free" by VAST then hits, and the fans are thrilled as the PWA Women’s Champion Lauren Tantalus wastes no time getting herself down the ramp for this non-title match.  Rush is undaunted as Tantalus rolls into the ring and opens up on her, on fire!

Troy:  Tantalus is obviously looking for revenge after Rush pinned her in that tag match last week!

Ferrara:  Yeah, but you that means that Rush might very well do it again right here!

Tantalus and Rush engage in a brutal slugfest as the bell rings, a flurry of closed fists the likes of which is rarely seen in women's competition.  Tantalus eventually gets the better of the brawl, taking Rush to the corner.  Tantalus whips Rush towards the opposing corner, but Rush reverses it.  Tantalus hits the corner hard and stumbles forward from the impact, as Rush ducks down to receive her for a back body drop.  However, Tantalus stops short, and kicks Rush in the face full force, clearly intent on teaching Rush some dues.

Rush backs away, but Tantalus is relentless, lunging at Rush with a clothesline.  However, Rush ducks behind Tantalus, and blasts her with a huge back suplex, which she folds over into a pinning combination!  The referee counts one, barely a two and Tantalus kicks out with authority, launching Rush face first into the turnbuckle!  Rush spins around from the impact, obviously dizzied, and Tantalus doesn't hesitate to scoop her up for the Tiger Driver!  Tantalus blasts Rush with it in the middle of the ring, and covers, one, two, yes three!

Ferrara:  I think Rush just scared the hell out of Tantalus.

Troy:  Yes, it was an impressive showing, but after that I don't think Rush will remember it too well.

Tantalus commences with a celebration, and the fans cheer, until Jade slides into the ring and interrupts it, attacking her from behind!  An eruption of boos ensues as Jade unleashes a barrage of stomps.  Rush then comes to, and joins in on the assault.  However, before long, Camieko rushes down to the ring.  Camieko switches off pummeling both Jade and Rush, until Tantalus makes it back to her feet, and then both Camieko and Tantalus clear the ring of their rivals.  An intense staredown then ensues as we cut to another commercial.
WINNER VIA PINFALL AT 7:14:  LAUREN TANTALUS

SEGMENT 10:  BACKSTAGE:

The camera invites itself into Bryan Conroy's office, where Women’s Champion Lauren Tantalus, Liz Rush, Jade, and Camieko are standing and shrieking at each other. They only grow louder as Conroy rubs his temples at his desk.

Conroy: Ladies...

The women continue you shout at one another.

Conroy: LADIES!

They quiet down and look to Conroy, who takes a breath before speaking again.

Conroy: Alright... Jade, Camieko, I don't know what was on your minds when you decided to go out there and get yourselves involved in that match, but we still need to find a contender for the Women's title shot at Everlasting Epic 3. I know how to settle this though.

Jade: What's the settle? Give the title shot to me. We all know I'm the most deserving of it.

Another shouting contest ensues and Conroy is obviously frustrated. He slams a fist into the desk, which quickly silences the women.

Conroy: If you're finished arguing, you'll learn how we're going to find a challenger to Lauren's belt. Next week on Frequency, Liz Rush, Jade, and Camieko will face each other in a Triple Threat match. The winner will challenge Lauren for the Women's Championship at Everlasting Epic 3.

An uneasy silence from the women follows his announcement, but the crowd makes up for this with cheers of approval. The women trade glances and nod in a satisfied agreement.

Troy: Oh my, did you hear that?!

Ferrara: I sure did, Troy! That match is sure to be spectacular!

Troy: But before that's going to happen, we have the 20-man Battle Royal, where the winner will receive a shot at the World Heavyweight Championship next week, coming up next!

The camera fades to black, bringing us to the last commercial break of the evening.

SEGMENT 11:  MATCH 4:  20-MAN BATTLE ROYAL:
Outside Referees:  Tom Stevens, Matt Hansen, Jose Soares

Back at ringside, “Have You Ever Felt” by Ill Nino is blaring over the speakers and the duo of Hollywood Mike Griffin and Smooth Greg Tantalus -- collectively known as TFU -- makes its way to the ring, but not to compete cohesively.  Both men are out to earn themselves a shot at Scythe’s PWA Championship next week on Frequency, and both know that they must win this next battle royal to do so.  Griffin and Tantalus step into the ring, joining Rudy Montenora, Jonathan Brett, Superstar Scott Hosemann, Briggs, The Omega Steve Beovich, Paul Dawkins, Jackie Baccaro, The Miracle Mike Troha, Anthony Failla, Speed Demon, Justice, Infernus, Tony Annetta, Tag Team Champions Greg Price and Kris Anthony, and Progressive Champion Showtime Damon Savage, all of whom have already entered the ring.  Moments later, “We on Fire” explodes onto the speakers and the Buffalo crowd pops huge for the Hot Boy$, who, like TFU, make their way to the ring together, in a show of solidarity, while both knowing that this is every man for himself.  No sooner do Jaguar and Romeo slide into the ring does the bell sound and the chaos erupt in the ring.

Troy:  Alright, here we go!

Ferrara:  A PWA title shot is one the line, ladies and gentlemen!  This is huge!

The action is fast and furious in the opening moments of the battle royal, with each man looking to establish an advantage and keep himself alive for as long as possible, each knowing the prospect of challenging for the PWA title and disrupting the Everlasting Epic main event can be accomplished with a win here.  Shortly into the start of the match, Speed Demon and Justice team up, knocking Infernus down and double clotheslining Tony Annetta up and out of the ring!  However, just seconds after this happens, Infernus grabs Speed Demon’s leg and uses the momentum to dump him over the top and to the floor as well!  Justice and Infernus now battle back and forth.

Elsewhere in the ring, Briggs and Hosemann do a furious number on Steve Beovich, alone in the ring due to the fact that his partner Jon Dulberg has not yet fully recovered from knee surgery.  However, just as it appears that the two Justin Schenck associates will do away with the Omega, Beovich reaches down and carries Briggs’ momentum over the top, eliminating him!  The fans cheer wildly, but the celebration doesn’t last long, as Scott Hosemann promptly takes the prone Beovich, hits him with the Superstar Stunner, and clotheslines him over the top and out.  The fans boo, but while Hosemann celebrates, Jon Dulberg storms down the aisle, dives into the ring, and clotheslines Hosemann out!  Then as Hosemann gets up on the outside, standing beside Briggs, Dulberg propels himself over the top, taking out both Hosemann and Briggs!  Dulberg and Beovich then brawl with Hosemann and Briggs on the outside, and the referees have to separate them, demanding all four return to the locker room.

Troy:  Paul, it looks like Dulberg is ready to return!

Ferrara:  If that display was any indication, I’d sure say so!

In the confusion prompted by Dulberg’s arrival, International Champion Mike Grieco, who stayed out of this very battle royal claiming a sprained ankle, comes through the crowd, slides into the ring, and dumps Anthony Failla over the top rope, eliminating him!  Failla is furious, but Grieco slides out of the ring and again escapes through the crowd!  Failla, however, gives chase, and the two disappear, out of sight.

Simultaneously, Greg Price and Kris Anthony team up, double clotheslining Paul Dawkins over the top and out.  However, as they celebrate, Kris Anthony is dumped out by Justice!  In another side of the ring, Showtime Damon Savage takes it to Jaguar, but the Hot Boy quickly reverses momentum, disposing of the Progressive Champion!  Then, seconds later, Rudy Montenora superkicks Infernus right over the top rope and out of the ring!

Troy:  Talk about rapid-fire eliminations!

Ferrara:  This ring is clearing in a hurry!

Seconds later, Jonathan Brett -- who will face Montenora at Everlasting Epic -- takes Rudy and launches him over the top rope!  In the aftermath, Justice approaches Brett and tries to take him out, but Brett lifts Justice over his head and tosses him out with ease!  Simultaneously, Greg Price is clotheslined out of the ring by Jackie Baccaro!  Baccaro isn’t allowed to celebrate long, however, as Mike Troha sneaks up from behind, dumping him out.

Troy:  Paul, take a look at the ring now!

Ferrara:  I don’t believe this!  It has come down to Mike Griffin, Greg Tantalus, Mike Troha, and Jonathan Brett -- four main cogs of the old TFU -- in there with Jaguar and Romeo, the Hot Boy$!

Predictably, the match turns into a four-on-two assault, with the former TFU working cohesively together, as they once did before.  Much of the next few minutes is spent by the TFU members issuing a mighty beatdown to Jaguar and Romeo.  However, as Jonathan Brett prepares to eliminate Romeo, Da Playboi reverses the momentum and sends Brett flying to the outside!  The crowd cheers raucously, but the cheering proves to be short-lived, as Mike Troha immediately dropkicks Romeo out of the ring, eliminating him.  Jaguar, already somewhat incapacitated, is now left alone in the ring with Griffin, Tantalus, and Troha.

Ferrara:  This is a tall order if I’ve ever seen one.

Troy:  I’ve got faith in Jaguar, Paul.  He’ll pull this out.

The three men beat down on Jaguar viciously, but the three-time PWA Champion fights back hard.  Finally, the three-on-one gets the better of him and Jaguar is beaten down tremendously, and set up on the ropes for elimination.  Mike Troha charges at him, but Jaguar miraculously ducks down and Troha goes flying over the top rope, eliminated!  The fans cheer, but Griffin and Tantalus don’t give Jaguar a second to recover, immediately pouncing on him.  Tantalus backs off and Griffin and Jaguar begin slugging it out furiously in the corner.  Griffin gets the better of the slugfest and attempts to shove Jaguar over the top rope, but Tantalus charges from behind and dumps them both out!

Troy:  It’s over!  Greg Tantalus has just won this thing!

Ferrara:  I don’t believe it!

The bell sounds and “Temptation” blasts onto the speakers, with the HSBC Center filling with boos.  Jaguar cringes in pain on the outside of the ring, and Mike Griffin sits up, staring at Tantalus in the ring.  Tantalus smirks back at Griffin and shrugs, as if to say that he did exactly what Griffin would have done in the same situation.  Griffin then gets up and applauds Tantalus, who celebrates in the ring, one week before challenging for the PWA Championship, as the cameras fade to black.
WINNER AT 23:16:  GREG TANTALUS
