 HSBC CENTER

BUFFALO, NEW YORK

SEGMENT 1:  INTRODUCTION:

A video package airs, highlighting the conclusion of last week’s episode, with Hollywood Mike Griffin pinning Romeo, followed by a huge TFU and Mike Troha beatdown on the Hot Boy$.  The opening credits then roll as Linkin Park’s “By_Myslf” hits the speakers and we are sent inside the HSBC Center in Buffalo, New York, where a spectacular pyrotechnics display ensues and we are sent ringside to commentator Victor Troy.

Troy:  Hello, ladies and gentlemen, and welcome to PWA Frequency!  I’m Victor Troy, along here with Paul Ferrara, and tonight, we are live in Buffalo for an action-packed episode!

Ferrara:  That’s right Troy, and tonight, we have a 20-man over-the-top battle royal, where the winner receives a title shot against Scythe next week right here on Frequency!

Troy:  We sure do!  Next week, we’ll be in East Rutherford, New Jersey on the two-year anniversary of the start of PWA, and we’ll celebrate it in the same building we opened shop in, and we’ll do it with a huge PWA Championship match.  The battle royal tonight will feature the top 20 contenders to the title, with the exception of Solomon and GI Jew, who will challenge for the gold at Everlasting Epic.  The other exception is Mike Grieco, who pulled out of the match due to an ankle injury.

Ferrara:  You’re forgetting The Machine too.

Troy:  Ah yes, the Machine.  Folks, last week, after Frequency went off the air, Bryan Conroy acted in what he thought were the company’s best interests and suspended The Machine from the PWA for four weeks.  Machine will be eligible to return to Frequency on August 17, four days before Everlasting Epic, but in the interest of basically everyone around here’s health, The Machine will not be around for the next little while.

Ferrara:  And the same goes for Jason Calysto, who has decided to train for this street fight in total seclusion.  Calysto got on a plan and went off to the Netherlands, training with an old trainer of his and trying to recapture the magic he once had.

Troy:  The results sure should be interesting.  But folks, let’s get the show on the road tonight.  Ring announcer Lee Palmer is ready, so let’s head to the ring!

SEGMENT 2:  MATCH 1:  DEAN NASH VS. JAMES BIAMONTE:
Referee:  Billy Vargas

Dynamite Dean Nash's new look and new, more aggressive attitude has won him plenty of new fans.  He makes his entrance to "A Certain Shade of Green" by Incubus, and steps into the ring as the Buffalo crowd continues to lavish him with support.  "2 of Amerikaz Most Wanted" then thumps over the HSBC Center speaker system, as the ever-infamous James Biamonte emerges from behind the curtain and walks out onto the stage.  Biamonte ignores the boos of the fans, and gets himself to the ring, his face showing nothing but business.

The bell rings, and Nash and Biamonte quickly circle about, before locking up in the middle of the ring.  Nash immediately throws in a headlock, and Biamonte shoves Nash away from him so hard that Nash doesn't even have time to turn around at the ropes.  He hits the ropes chest first, and bounces back right into a Biamonte back suplex.  Nash rolls off of it onto his feet, and hits a quick inside cradle from behind.  The referee counts one, barely a two and Biamonte kicks out right onto his feet, before doing a roundhouse kick.

Troy:  Some fast-paced action right off the bat.

Ferrara:  What else would you expect from these two.

Nash ducks the roundhouse kick into a sweep, which Biamonte somehow manages to jump!  In mid air, Biamonte shifts his weight into leg drop position, and drops it, but Nash rolls out of the way!  Biamonte hits the mat hard, as Nash hits a quick senton!  Biamonte moves out of the way of this, hits the ropes, and takes Nash's head off with a spinning heel kick!  The fans are too breathless from the action to boo Biamonte's advantage coming out of the exchange.  Biamonte briefly celebrates, and he beckons Nash to return to his feet.

Nash makes it to his feet, and they rush each other, but before anymore action can take place, Showtime Damon Savage slides into the ring and blasts both Nash and Biamonte with a chair out of nowhere!  The bell rings, and fans respond with deafening boos as "Not That" Rodney King enters the ring and commences with a celebration.

Troy:  Disgusting!  Simply disgusting!

FerraraDammit!  I'm usually a fan of Showtime but...argh!

Nash and Biamonte begin to stir as Showtime's theme plays, but Showtime then quickly evacuates the ring.
WINNER AT 7:02:  NO-CONTEST

SEGMENT 3:  BACKSTAGE:

As we return from the break, the camera is backstage, following "Not That" Rodney King and Showtime, who has just returned from the ring after ruining the match between Nash and Biamonte. They walk down the halls on the way to their dressing room, laughing heartily.

King: It's too bad that you don't have an opponent for Everlasting Epic 3 now, Showtime.

Showtime: Yeah, isn't it a pity? But hey, I certainly earned a day off, didn't I?

King: That you did, Showtime. And now it's time to just sit back and relax-

Cox: You two! Stop right there!

Commissioner Kerry Cox storms down the hall and gets right into their faces. The crowd pops at the sight of him.

Cox: I hope you realize what you two have just done. That match was supposed to name a Progressive Title challenger for Everlasting Epic 3!

King: And neither Dean Nash nor James Biamonte won the match. So, we'll just be on our way.

Showtime and King try to leave, but the Commissioner holds them back.

Cox: Not so fast. Showtime, you're still going to defend that belt at Everlasting Epic 3.

Showtime: Against who? There isn't even a number one contender.

Cox: You're right. There's going to be two number one contenders.

King: What?!

Cox: That's right! Showtime, you will defend your belt at Everlasting Epic 3 in a Triple Threat match against Dean Nash and James Biamonte!

The crowd roars in approval as Showtime's jaw drops. King begins to sweat and quickly searches for a loophole.

King: N-now wait just a minute. Don't you think that would be a little repetitive?

Cox: What do you mean?

King: Well, there shouldn't be two Triple Threat matches at an event as big as this. And the main event is already a Triple Threat match! So you see, it just shouldn't happen.

Boos begin to pour from the audience as Cox takes a second to think.

Cox: You're right. But...

King: Glad you see it our way! Let's go, Show-

Cox: BUT...while you won't be defending your title in a Triple Threat match, you'll be defending it against Dean Nash and James Biamonte in a Triangle Ladder match! ...Have a good evening, guys.

The audience goes berserk at this announcement while Showtime and "Not That" Rodney King are stunned with utter fear. Cox grins and takes his leave as the crowd continues to cheer.

 SEGMENT 4:  BACKSTAGE:
The shot cuts back to a dressing room, where Justin Schenck is talking with Briggs, Scott Hosemann and Reaper.

Schenck: Alright fellas, we must make sure we realize the opportunity presented to us tonight. This is the PWA World Heavyweight Championship, the crème de la crème of this industry. Scott, Briggs, one of you have got to win this thing and get that title into this camp. But Reaper, you've got that rookie tonight. Damien Fields thinks he can spurn us like that, you teach him a lesson that he'll never forget! But Reaper, just remember one thing. He's a rookie, green as grass. There must be no upset tonight.

Reaper: Oh don't worry Justin, there definitely won't be an upset tonight. Damien Fields...is mine!

Schenck cackles and the crew smiles as the shot fades out.

SEGMENT 5:  MATCH 2:  REAPER VS. DAMIEN FIELDS:
Referee:  Dan Martin

"Missing Passion" by Spiritfall hits, and still relative newcomer Damien Fields steps out onto the ramp to receive an encouraging ovation enroute to the ring.  Fields is looking energetic and excited, but focused nonetheless.  He climbs to the ring and prepares himself in wait for his opponent.  Buckcherry's "Alone" then hits, and Reaper makes his way to the ring in the company of Justin Schenck, and a whole lot of distaste from the fans.  Reaper barks back out at the arena, and indicates that he's going to take it out on Fields.

Ferrara:  The crowd can hate Reaper all he wants, he's about to teach Damien Fields what the PWA is really all about.

Troy:  Well personally, I think Reaper is in for at least a little bit of a surprise.

Reaper climbs into the ring, and proceeds to hold a conversation with Schenck as the bell rings.  Fields looks around at the crowd in wait.  They encourage him to attack Reaper, and he shrugs, obliging them, before charging Reaper in the face with a running forearm that knocks him into the corner.  Schenck evacuates the ring, and Reaper appears to be taken completely off guard, as Field's onslaught brings Reaper down to one knee!  Reaper attempts to shield the blows but he is still backed into the corner.  The crowd explodes.

Reaper finally launches himself forward, shoulder first into Fields' gut, and the crowd goes silent as Fields simply crumples away towards the middle of the ring, doubled over on the mat in the fetal position.  Reaper grins, shakes his head, and hustles over to Fields, where he drops a devastating leg drop across his already constricting throat.  The crowd groans as Reaper turns him over, and nonchalantly covers for the one, two, and Fields manages to kick out.  Reaper simply shakes his head, and then drops in an elbow.

Ferrara:  Reaper will now be in control for the rest of this match.

Troy:  That remains to be seen.

Reaper does indeed remain in control.  He toys with Fields at length, keeping him in check with a variety of torturous power moves.  Fields seems all but out of steam, as Reaper runs his thumb along his throat, signaling for Passed Judgement.  Reaper gets into position to scoop Fields up for the move, but before he can even turn Fields's head towards the mat, Fields continues the momentum and dives clean over Reaper's shoulder, into a tight sunset flip pinning combination!  The referee counts one, two, yes three!

Ferrara:  What?!  Can you believe this?!  Look at how quickly Fields ran up that ramp!
Troy:  Are you kidding?!  Look at Reaper!  Look at Schenck!  Anyone would be on the run!  What an upset!  Listen to this crowd!  Reaper and Schenck look like they've seen a ghost!  We have to cut to a commercial!
WINNER VIA PINFALL AT 8:13:  DAMIEN FIELDS

 SEGMENT 6:  RINGSIDE:
We are brought ringside, where a table is set up in the middle of the ring. Bryan Conroy is standing in the ring, along with Nick Cade who is holding a microphone. The crowd quiets down as Cade begins to speak.

Cade: Ladies and gentlemen, we will now hold the official contract signing for the Triple Threat match that will take place at Everlasting Epic 3 for the World Heavyweight Championship. Introducing first, from Barrow,
Alaska, weighing in at three hundred pounds... Solomon!

"Hear Me" by Darkseed floods the HSBC Center and the houselights dim as the crowd attempts to drown out the theme with rabid jeers. Solomon emerges from the curtains and trudges down the ramp. After climbing into the ring, he locks eyes with Conroy for a moment before waiting in a corner for the arrival of his future opponents. The music fades and goes full blast with Sepultura's "Refuse/Resist," and the fans go into a frenzy!

Cade: Next, from
Queens, New York, weighing in at two hundred and thirty four pounds, G... I... Jew!

The loud roar of GI Jew's motorcycle fills the arena and the crowd comes alive as Jew speeds down the ramp. He begins to circle the ring, but stops at the corner where Solomon is standing. Jew and Solomon stare at each other, and as Solomon mouths off, Jew revs up the motorcycle to drown him out. He finishes the circle and parks at the foot of the ramp. The first Grand Slam Winner climbs off the bike and steps into the ring, standing across from the Alaskan Monster. Conroy is standing between the two to separate them, when Jew's theme fades and switches to "With You" by Linkin Park!

Cade: And finally, from Simi Valley, California, weighing in at two hundred and fifty seven pounds, he is the PWA World Heavyweight Champion, he is the Modern-Day Samurai, this... is... Scyyyythe!

Two towers of pyro explode at the entrance and the audience goes ballistic. Scythe appears shortly thereafter and summons two more blasts of pyro before heading down the ramp and tagging the outstretched arms of the crowd as he passes by. The Samurai slides into the ring and completes the trio who will be battling for the company's greatest prize. The music dies down after a few moments, at which time Conroy produces a contract and pen, placing them both on the table. Solomon, GI Jew, and Scythe all step up to the table.

Cade: Gentlemen, this is a binding contract that will have all of you have it out in a Triple Threat match at Everlasting Epic. Once you sign it, there is no backing out.

Before Cade can continue, Solomon grabs the pen and signs the contract without any hesitation. He drops the pen on the table once finished and stares right at Jew, who looks right back at him and scoops up the pen, placing his signature on the contract. The two continue to glare at each other and are not distracted at all as Scythe takes the pen and stares at his two challengers. The tension grows higher as the crowd gets louder. Scythe finally signs the contract and makes the match official. Conroy takes the contract and looks it over, then gives a nod of approval.

Troy: And there it is! These three men will meet in Philadelphia at Everlasting Epic 3, and the winner will walk out as the PWA World Heavyweight Champion!

Scythe points to the title belt and thumbs his chest while staring at Jew and Solomon. He turns to leave, but Jew grabs him by the arm and spins him around. He and Scythe have words with each other, but Solomon interrupts and gets into Jews face. Jew shoves Solomon back, and he replies with a punch to Jew's face! Jew cracks a smile and shoves him back harder this time, but Solomon grabs the table and throws it at Jew and Scythe! They manage to dodge it, and a huge brawl follows! Cade crawls out of the ring as Conroy calls for security to separate the men. Security floods the ring and has a difficult time breaking up the battle, as the camera fades and we are brought to a commercial break.
