SUNDAY, JULY 24, 2005 * ROCKEFELLER CENTER * NEW YORK CITY

The FBI warning flashes onto the screen, before fading into a video that highlights the PWA Championship match between champion Hollywood Mike Griffin and challenger Superstar Scott Hosemann, along with the ORA Championship battle between Romeo and Scythe, and the match between Greg Tantalus and Jackie Baccaro for a world championship match at Everlasting Epic.  As the video package concludes, "Turn Up The Sun" by Oasis hits and we are taken the unique set-up at Rockefeller Center, fireworks blaring up from the top of the stage and from behind the fountain with the Prometheus statue directly across from it.  The fans in attendance cheer wildly as this unconventional episode of Frequency goes on the air.  The area between West 49th and West 50th Street, between Rockefeller Plaza and Fifth Avenue, has been completely uprooted into a PWA arena.  Working in unison with both the Rock Center Café and the Sea Grill – the restaurants located beneath Rockefeller Center – the PWA has been able to transform the legendary Christmastime landmark into a PWA summer stadium.  The two restaurants, which can be reached by aboveground elevators and combine to make the perimeter around Rockefeller Center, extend into the Center during the non-winter months, offering outside seating when the skating rink is not up.  Tonight, the PWA has cleared out all of the outside seating, closed both restaurants, and turned the former skating rink into the ringside area.  A number of seats were opened up for fans on the ground level, with the ring set up all the way to the right, closest to Rockefeller Plaza.  The Prometheus statue and the ensuing fountain, which is on the Rockefeller Plaza side of the ring with no seats in between them, is blasting full force, creating a very scenic backdrop.  The other three sides of the ring are surrounded by rows of folding chairs and fans, with commentators Victor Troy and Paul Ferrara seated with their broadcast table on the West 50th Street side.  Three Jumbotrons are set up; one giant one atop the set, and two on the walls of The Concourse, adjacent to both sides of the Prometheus statue and fountain.  The Sea Grill elevator on West 49th is being used as the employees entrance for the evening, with both that restaurant and the Rock Center Café underground, closed to the public, being used as locker rooms and backstage areas.  Performers then take the Rock Center Café elevator from underground up to West 50th Street and follow the tunnel that has been constructed by the PWA crew, extending down the street and past the store walls of Brookstone until reaching the steps that would normally lead into the skating rink at winter time.  This time, the entrance is blocked off by the monstrous stage, which the performers will exit and head down the steps to our makeshift ringside area.  Seating has been set up on Fifth Avenue in front of the tunnel constructed, along with on the other three sides of the set-up, on the street level above ground, and some special seating on the sidewalks themselves.  There appears to be a good 4,500 people in attendance, a packed house for this very special PWA pay-per-view event.  As the fans continue to cheer, we are sent to our commentators, Victor Troy and Paul Ferrara.

Troy:  Ladies and gentlemen, welcome to New York City!  I’m Victor Troy, along here with Paul Ferrara, and tonight, the PWA is Live From Rockefeller Center!

Ferrara:  I am psyched, Troy!  I am psyched beyond belief!

Troy:  As well you should be, Paul!  We have a phenomenal show here tonight, and as always, when we are in
Rockefeller Center, anything can happen!

Ferrara:  The past two years that we have held Frequency at Rockefeller Center, the shows have arguably been the best of the year.  This year, we’re on pay-per-view, and I feel something huge on the horizon!

Troy:  Tonight, ladies and gentlemen, we have a tremendous card, headlined by three huge matches.  For the PWA Championship, Hollywood Mike Griffin defends the gold against former stablemate Superstar Scott Hosemann.  For the ORA Championship, Romeo puts the title on the line against Scythe.  And, with the Everlasting Epic guaranteed world title shot at stake, Greg Tantalus squares off with Jackie Baccaro.

Ferrara:  Not to mention Jaguar and Briggs teaming once again to challenge Alpha Omega for the Tag Team Championship.

Troy:  Yes.  In fact, all six PWA titles are on the line tonight, so anything can happen!  Folks, it’s time!  Let’s go ringside!

The crowd bursts into cheers when "Simon Says" by Drain STH suddenly plays, inviting Victor Simon to
Rockefeller Center. With the loud and welcoming reception urging him forward, Simon wastes no time in heading to the ring, eager to start the match. Once stepping inside the squared circle, Simon lifts his arms into the air, prompting the New York City crowd to cheer for the PWA newcomer.

Troy: Listen to this crowd, Paul!

Ferrara: I gotta say, this kid has been doing a lot to receive these cheers.

Troy: And with the Progressive Title on the line, I'm sure he's going to give it everything he's got!

Simon takes some time to stretch out in the ring as he waits for his adversary. Before long, "Marriage of Figaro" by Mozart plays, sending the crowd into furious boos as the ever cocky Dexter P. Wellington walks onto the stage in a shimmering robe. His butler, Winston, follows as
Wellington slowly walks down the ramp, jawing off with some of the audience members as he rubs the Progressive Title that rests around his waist. Winston rushes ahead to brush the steps before Wellington ascends them and steps into the ring. Simon leaves the ring for a moment so that the Progressive Champion may pose on the turnbuckles, but neither the challenger nor the crowd can stand it. As the jeering rains down, Wellington removes his robe and hands it to Winston, then unhooks his belt. With a warning to keep his belt safe, Wellington forks over the Progressive Title to the referee as Simon enters the ring. The bell sounds.

* PWA PROGRESSIVE CHAMPIONSHIP: DEXTER P. WELLINGTON (C) VS. VICTOR SIMON *

Referee: Jose Soares
Ferrara : Here we go, Progressive Title on the line!

Troy: This kid put on quite a show for us last week on Frequency. Simon pinned all three of his opponents to get a chance at this title. Do you think he can take it all, Paul?

Ferrara: Last week was a good indication of how much this kid wants the gold, Troy, but I'm still not sold.

Simon and
Wellington circle the ring after a brief staredown. The challenger goes in for a lockup, but Welling quickly boots him in the stomach. The Progressive Champion further stuns his opponent with fists to the side of the head, following it up with a massive clothesline to send Simon to the canvas. Wellington smirks and goes to cover the newcomer. The referee counts... One... and a kick out from Simon!

Troy: There's no way Wellington could have beaten him this early.

Ferrara: He was just sending the kid a message, Troy. For all we know, Wellington probably let Simon get back up.

Wellington glares at the referee and snorts before lifting Simon back up, with the crowd booing in the background. The cocky champion whips Simon hard into the corner and follows in closely for a splash. Wellington steps back as the challenger stumbles out of the corner, allowing the Progressive Champion to throw him to the ground with a bodyslam. Still wearing his confident grin, Wellington takes the opportunity to flex, raising the ire of the audience.

Troy: It's been all Wellington so far.

Ferrara: And I'm sure that's how he wants to keep it.

He yanks Simon off the mat and throws him into a corner once more.
Wellington stampedes in for another splash, but Simon quickly removes himself from the corner! Wellington plasters his face against the turnbuckle, and Simon takes advantage by dragging down the Progressive Champion by the neck!

Troy: Wait a minute, it's turning around!

Simon flexes to mock
Wellington , and the crowd responds with cheers. As the Progressive Champion groggily rises to his feet, Simon closes in and hits a head-and-arm suplex! He goes for the cover! After a long one count, Wellington kicks out.

Troy: Good strategy by Simon. He's got the advantage, now he's got to stay on Wellington.

Ferrara : That move won't work this time, though! Simon used that move to put Darrin Giles away!

Smelling the title only inches away, Simon climbs onto the turnbuckle and waits for
Wellington to rise. Sensing the title in danger, Winston attempts to interfere, but Simon gives him a boot for his troubles! Wellington gains a vertical base, and Simon leaps off the turnbuckle for a flying elbow smash! With the crowd cheering, the Progressive Champion crashes into the mat hard, and the challenger goes for the cover! One, two, and a kick out!

Troy: So close!

Simon gets up with a bit of frustration showing through his face. He peels
Wellington off the mat for a quick small package, but Wellington slips out of it and reverses it into the Million Dollar Dream! Simon has no where to go, and he taps out shortly after!

Ferrara: And that's why he's our Progressive Champion!

Troy : Wellington pulled that one out of nowhere! And what's more shocking to me is that he won that one almost completely clean!
* WINNER VIA SUBMISSION AND STILL PROGRESSIVE CHAMPION: DEXTER P. WELLINGTON *

"Marriage of Figaro" serenades
Wellington as he is awarded his Progressive Title. He leaves the ring and slowly walks up the ramp, as Winston makes an effort to wipe the sweat off his brow. Back in the ring, Simon manages to get back to his feet, and even though he didn't manage to capture the title, the crowd applauds his efforts.

Downstairs at the Rock Center Cafe, Nick Cade is standing with PWA Champion Hollywood Mike Griffin and his manager Justin Schenck.

Cade:  Mike Griffin, in just a short while, you will defend the PWA Championship against former Legacy member Superstar Scott Hosemann.  What are your thoughts?

Griffin:  Simple.  Nothing.  I'm really not giving this match much thought.  It's not 2001 or 2002 anymore.  Superstar Scott Hosemann's time in the sun has come and gone.  He is a has-been.  He should have been stripped of the Superstar title long ago.  He's more like the Superfarce these days.  I liked seeing Kerry Cox give Hosemann a pep talk the other night.  I ended Cox's career much in the same way.  I'll have no problem doing the same to Hosemann tonight, if that's what he desires.  So really, to answer your question, I don't give a damn about Scott Hosemann, and I don't give him a snowball's chance in hell of beating me tonight.  That good enough for you?

Cade:  That's fine.

Griffin:  Good.

With that, Griffin and Scheck exit.

A large wave of cheers comes to greet Liz Rush, who arrives to "Thick Skin" by Joydrop. Rush has an air of enthusiasm about her, perhaps from her opportunity to capture the Women's title. Shortly after entering the ring, "B R Right" by Trina and Ludacris takes over, and the fans cheer wildly for Dee Licious. She briskly makes her way to the ring, tagging the outstretched hands of the audience during her trek. Seemingly prepared to regain the Women's title for a third time, Dee steps into the ring to meet with Rush. They stare at each other for a moment before nodding briefly, both women knowing that it is within the champion that they hold angst towards.

Before long, "The Stone Monkey" by Kazu Matsui plays throughout Rockefeller Center, and New York is relentless in their boos for the Women's Champion, Keiko Ishida and Walter Gindin. Appearing a bit tense, Ishida slowly trudges down the ramp while eyeing her two opponents who threaten her title reign. Gindin offers some words of encouragement.

Troy: Keiko has got to be worried right now. She could lose her title even if she isn't pinned tonight.

Ferrara: And with two wrestlers like Rush and Dee looking to end her streak, it just might happen.

Troy: It was Keiko's own fault though. After interfering in the number one contender's match last Frequency, this Triple Threat match was signed by the Commissioner!

* PWA WOMEN'S CHAMPIONSHIP: TRIPLE THREAT MATCH: KEIKO ISHIDA (C) VS. DEE LICIOUS VS. LIZ RUSH *

Referee: Dan Martin
Keiko enters the ring, keeping her distance from the challengers. After relinquishing the belt to the referee, the bell sounds to start the match. Both Rush and Dee go right after Keiko, who desperately escapes the ring through the bottom rope. The crowd boos and the referee orders the Women's Champion to return to the ring. He begins his count, but he barely reaches four as Ishida slides back into the ring, only to receive several stomps to the back from both challengers! Ishida is unable to defend herself from the attack and she continues to take the punishment. Dee and Rush pull Ishida off the canvas and whip her hard into the ropes. Dee runs forward for a clothesline, but Ishida ducks under the arm and sends Rush spilling over the top rope with a clothesline of her own! Rush hits the ground hard outside with a thud!

Troy: I think she landed on her head! Is she alright?!

Ferrara: This might've just become a one on one!

Ishida briefly admires her handy work, but she's taken off her feet with a wild release german suplex from
Dee! Cheers rain down as the Women's Champion lands awkwardly and clutches her head while she writhes on the mat. Dee pours on the damage by lifting up Ishida and painting the canvas with her face in a big DDT! Dee goes for the cover, One! Two! No, Ishida gets a shoulder up!

Troy : She won't give up that title yet!

Undaunted,
Dee lifts Ishida back up to deliver a swift suplex! Meanwhile on the outside, Gindin rolls the barely conscious Rush back into the ring and calls the attention of the referee to check on her condition. The fans are confused by this gesture, but it becomes clear when Dee goes for the pin on Ishida, but the referee isn't there to count the pin!

Ferrara: Hah! That's shrewd!

Troy: That's depravity! Turn around and count the pin, ref!

Furious,
Dee slips out of the ring and stalks Gindin, and even he dares not test the wrath of a woman. Gindin quickly runs in the opposite direction and heads up the ramp as Dee gives chase, and Ishida gains her bearings in the ring. Moving as quickly as she can, the Women's Champion shoves the referee aside and sets up Rush for the running STO, which she hits with stunning impact! Ishida makes the cover on Rush. One. Two. Three.

Troy: No, dammit! We could've had a new champion!

Ferrara: But the fact is, Keiko is still undefeated!

Troy: Yeah, thanks to Gindin!
* WINNER VIA PINFALL AND STILL WOMEN'S CHAMPION: KEIKO ISHIDA *

"The Stone Monkey" plays once again, and
Dee hears the outcome of the match. Upon receiving the results, Dee blazes a trail back into the ring as Ishida quickly finds a way out of it. After grabbing her belt, Ishida backpedals up the ramp. Dee looks on with fury in her eyes, and she shakes her head while pointing at the title. Although the match is over, Keiko still retains her worried expression with the realization that her title reign was in serious jeopardy.

The fans cheer loudly as they see an angry duo of GI Jew and Renegade standing next to Rick Madsen, as he begins to speak.

Madsen: Alright, Renegade, GI Jew, here we are in Rockefeller Centre and you are just moments away from going up against The Army of The Damned in a 3-on-2 handicapped match. This is a very dangerous setting, are you guys up to this challenge.

Jew: Up to the challenge? Rick, I thought you knew me better than that. Here we are, in our hometown of New York City Rick, you think I'm not up for this? Me and Renegade are two of the most notorious hotheads in this business. Our tempers aren't that good. So when you decide to jump on us and piss us off, there becomes hell to pay. The Army will find that out tonight when we expose them for the little bitches that they are.

Renegade: My partner couldn't have said it any better. We showed up to whip some ass tonight and it doesn't matter if its 3 of them, 33 of them, or 333 of them in their little Army. Renegade and GI Jew are coming for payback!

Slipknot's "Opium of the People" sends the audience into a cheering frenzy as Rockefeller Center cheers for the New York native in GI Jew, who arrives on the scene with Renegade. The two march down to the ring with determination, despite the daunting challenge that lies ahead of them. Jew and Renegade climb into the ring and pose on the turnbuckles to play it up for the crowd. Jew salutes to the audience on each corner, as Renegade points out to the fans.

Ferrara: I feel sorry for these guys. It's like they want an end to their career already.

Troy: The Army of the Damned has constantly interfered with both GI Jew and Renegade. It's not hard to understand why they have a vendetta.

Ferrara: It's a three-on-two though. Even if was evenly matched, I'm still not sure I want to be messing with them.

The lights dim down as Andrew Lloyd Webber's "Phantom of the Opera Overture" suddenly takes over, and the audience does their best to boo the Army of the Damned out of the arena. Cross, Reaper, and Loki trudge down the aisle and are unfazed by the jeering, driven only by their mission to destroy their opponents for tonight. The vehement jeers continue as they climb into the ring, with the houselights returning to normal.

Troy: I didn't like Bishop Cross before, but now I actually find him even more frightening with his army.

Ferrara: It's a good thing we don't have pansies like you fighting against them in the ring.

* HANDICAPPED MATCH: GI JEW & RENEGADE VS. ARMY OF THE DAMNED *

Referee: Jason Church

The referee tries to get in between them, but he is unsuccessful when a massive brawl breaks out between the two sides. Jew and Renegade battle valiantly, but the three on two proves to be too much for them to handle. Renegade falls to a two on one by Loki and Cross, while Reaper holds off Jew on the opposite side. The trio of Renegade, Loki, and Cross fall to the outside, allowing the bell to sound. Reaper applies clubbing blows to Jew, but the Grand Slam Champion pushes him back and tackles him to the mat, pounding away at his face in a fit of rage.

Troy: GI Jew has been waiting to get his hands on the Army of the Damned, so this is his chance!

Ferrara: Renegade isn't doing so well by himself though.

On the outside, Renegade isn't even given the chance to get up, as Loki and Cross stomp away at him. Back in the ring, the referee reprimands Jew, who begrudgingly halts his attack, but only to wrench Reaper off the mat. Jew whips Reaper into the ropes and follows closely behind to cause him to pour out of the ring with a clothesline! Jew steps out of the ring as well to help his partner, and the referee demands that they return to their places. However, even with Jew's added assistance, the attack is still far too great. After a suplex against the ground, Reaper rolls Jew back into the ring as Cross and Loki return to their corner, leaving Renegade writhing on the outside.

Troy: Things aren't looking good at all. I'm not even sure if Renegade is still fit to wrestle after that assault.

Ferrara: This is the match that they asked for though.

Reaper takes down Jew with another suplex before going to his corner for a tag to Cross, who ominously steps into the ring. He brings Jew back to his feet and chops away at his chest before sending him into a corner, as Renegade slowly makes his way back to his side. Cross charges in and crushes the Grand Slam Champion with a splash. As Jew stumbles out of the corner, Cross grabs his arm and throws him into the opposite turnbuckle. Cross stampedes towards Jew once more, but the New York native launches himself out of the corner and hits Bishop Cross with a Gore at full impact!

Troy: Oh my God, Cross ran into that one!

Ferrara: I'm surprised he didn't skewer himself!

Jew and Cross slowly crawl to their respective corners, and Cross is the first to make the tag to Loki, who steps into the ring just as Jew makes the tag to Renegade! He flies into the ring as Loki charges in, but only to get an armdrag for his troubles! Loki quickly gets up, but Renegade downs him again with a clothesline! Reaper steps into the ring, but he meets a huge running forearm as well! Renegade turns around, but he walks right into an Atheist superkick, courtesy of Loki! Jew steps into the ring, but Reaper and Cross are there to stop him! Loki covers... One... Two... Three.

Troy: Dammit! When will this Army be stopped?!

Ferrara: It doesn't seem like it will be any time soon, Troy.

* WINNERS VIA PINFALL: ARMY OF THE DAMNED *

The bell sounds to end the match, and although they are announced the winners, the Army of the Damned continue to assault GI Jew and Renegade, taking full advantage of the fact that nothing can stop them now. As the fans protest wildly to this, however, the lights suddenly turn to black, and within moments they slowly return. The crowd's jeering turns to cheers though, when they find someone slightly familiar standing in the ring!

Ferrara: Who the hell is that?!

Troy: My God!  That's... that's Speed Demon!

Demon stands silently and is adorned by dark clothing, is without facepaint, and is brandishing a long scar around his eye from a deadly chairshot one month ago when the Army destroyed him and his girlfriend Dana Chapman.  In his hands rest a crowbar. Cross, Loki, and Reaper cannot seem to believe what they are seeing, but they are given little time to react when Demon goes after the Army with the weapon! He swings at Cross and Loki, who quickly remove themselves from the ring. Reaper tries to do the same, but Demon pulls him back and smashes the piece of steel into his fact, taking him completely out! Blood pours down Reaper's face as he falls to the outside, while Cross and Loki regroup. They begin to charge the ring, but the lights suddenly fade out once more. After only a moment, they come back on again, and Demon is nowhere to be seen. Cross and Loki look around, before agreeing to head to the back, presumably in search of Speed Demon as the fans cheer wildly.

Downstairs at the Rock Center Cafe interview area, Scott Cornelius is standing by with Jackie Baccaro and Vulture.

Cornelius:  Gentlemen, if I may...

Vulture:  Well, you may not.  As a matter fact, you can just leave.

Cornelius exits.

Vulture:  Ladies and gentlemen, tonight, you will see the dawning of a new era.  Tonight, this man, Jackie Baccaro, will take his first step towards dominance over this wrestling world, and he will do it forcefully.

Baccaro:  Greg Tantalus, I almost feel sorry for you.  I almost feel sorry for the fact that I have to take your title shot tonight, and I almost feel sorry for having to attack you last week.  Note that I said almost.  Tonight, I will show mercy and no sympathy in dismantling you.  It is my destiny.  And NOTHING can stand in the way of destiny.

With that, Vulture and Baccaro exit.

The crowd sits in waiting and before long, "Da Repercussions" by 50 Cent plays throughout Rockefeller Center, causing the audience to direct their jeers towards Mike Grieco. With an intense look on his face, he stomps down the ramp while ignoring the New York City crowd. After stepping into the ring and posing on the turnbuckles, Sevendust's "Black" interrupts his performance, and the fans cheer for the International Champion, Paul Dawkins. Bearing the title around his waist, Dawkins marches down the ramp, tagging the hands of various audience members on his way to the ring. Grieco leaves the ring as Dawkins enters it, giving him time to climb on the turnbuckles in each corner and raise his belt up high for the crowd.

Troy: Later on in the show, we're going to see the Everlasting Epic IV title shot on the line as Greg Tantalus goes up against Jackie Baccaro, but how about this International title match we're about to see?

Ferrara: For a long time now, Grieco's really been itching to get that title back. I have to tell you, it's like he just doesn't look the same without it.

Troy: Well, Dawkins certainly isn't going to make it easy for him.

* PWA INTERNATIONAL CHAMPIONSHIP: PAUL DAWKINS (C) VS. MIKE GRIECO *

Referee: Billy Vargas

Grieco steps back into the ring as Dawkins relinquishes his belt to the referee. The bell rings loudly, and the crowd immediately begins chanting Dawkins' name as the two lock up hard in the center. Grieco manages to push Dawkins into a corner, and the referee calls for a clean break. Ignoring it, Grieco drags Dawkins by the hand the torpedoes him into the opposite corner. The International Champion hits the turnbuckle with his back, and when he sees Grieco closing in, Dawkins lifts up his boot for the challenger to run into! Grieco stumbles back while clutching his fact, but Dawkins takes the initiative by driving his mug into the canvas with a bulldog!

Troy: Dawkins is off to a fast start!

Ferrara: I think that might be a good strategy here, because Grieco is monstrous once you're slowed down and within arms reach.

The International Champion tries to get a pin cover, but he barely gets a two count for his troubles. Dawkins goes to lift up Grieco, only to bring him back down with a quick body slam. The International Champion peels Grieco off the mat once more, but the challenger breaks out of his grip and grabs hold of Dawkins. Grieco lifts him up, allowing Dawkins to fall on an outstretched knee. Dawkins falls to the mat in a hurry, and Grieco poses for what he believes to be an unappreciative crowd. Grieco drops several elbows into Dawkins' back before wrenching him off the mat and whipping him into the ropes. Grieco bounces off the opposite side and as the meet in the middle, Grieco sends the International Champion down hard with a shoulder block. The crowd boos.

Ferrara: Like it or not, Grieco's in control of this match.

Troy: Personally, I don't even think Grieco should be IN this match.

Ferrara: Oh, let it go, Troy! The fact is, Grieco beat James Biamonte at Meltdown, and then won the number one contender's match against Showtime, whether you like it or not.

Troy: He cheated to win those matches!

Ferrara: Facts are facts.

Grieco pins Dawkins, one, two, and a kick out! Although a bit frustrated, Grieco goes right back to work. The International Champion is pulled off the mat by Grieco, who keeps him busy with several well places punches. Dawkins battles back with punches of his own, but Grieco manages to push him back into the corner, but Dawkins reverses it and fires Grieco towards the turnbuckle. However, the ref is caught in the way, and he becomes sandwiched between the turnbuckle and Grieco! As the referee crumbles to the mat, Grieco explodes out of the corner and levels Dawkins with a vicious clothesline!

Troy: Oh no! The ref is down, Dawkins is down, and only Grieco is standing!

Grieco sees his compromising position and reaches into his pocket to pull out a pair of brass knuckles. He strategically stands behind Dawkins, who begins to slowly make his ascent. With the brass knuckles equipped, Grieco winds up his arm as the audience frantically tries to warn the Champion.

Troy: Turn around, Dawkins! Dammit, this is how Grieco beat Biamonte last time!

Ferrara: And it looks like we're gonna see a new champion!

Dawkins is up on his knees, and Grieco is licking his chops. However, the crowd's warnings turn to cheers when they see Biamonte stampeding down the aisle with a chair in hand! Biamonte slides into the ring just as Grieco turns around, only to meet a faceful of chair! Grieco slumps onto the mat as Biamonte violently shakes the referee before fleeing from the ring. Back inside, Dawkins finds Grieco on the mat, and without any hesitation, Dawkins signals out to the crowd!

Troy: He's going for it!

Ferrara: Damn you, Biamonte!

Troy: Payback, Paul!  Biamonte has a LOT to pay Grieco back for, and that's just a small portion of it!

Dawkins brings the battered Grieco to his feet before booting him in the gut, and following it up with a precise MOAB in the center of the ring! Dawkins makes the cover as the referee comes to! One! Two! Three!

* WINNER VIA PINFALL AND STILL INTERNATIONAL CHAMPION: PAUL DAWKINS *

Troy: Dawkins did it! He's still the International Champion!

Ferrara: Thanks to interference from Biamonte!

Troy: Hey, Grieco brought it on himself!

"Black" plays once more as the International Title is brought back to Dawkins. The referee raises his arm into the air, and the fans cheer for his continuing title reign.

The camera cuts back to The Rock Centre Cafe, where the crowd is sent into riotous cheers as Nick Cade is shown alongside Superstar Scott Hosemann.

Cade: Scott, here we are. New York City, Rockefeller Center, your shot at the gold is just moments away. What’s on your mind?

Hosemann: A lot Nick. On one hand, I have the doubters. The people that say Scott Hosemann is too hurt, he's over the hill and washed up. Those people might be right. But on the other hand, I have my believers, those who feel that Scott Hosemann does have one last great match left in him and will come out on top tonight. I chose to be a believer Nick. Sure, I've been doing this for a very long time and my body is not what is used to be. But thats in the past, this is the present. All I'm worried about is tonight. One night nick, one chance to claim my spot among the true greats in this industry, one moment to truly shine as the best in the World. Will this be Scott Hosemann's last run? Who knows? But what we do know is that tonight, The Superstar is coming full force, and he's coming to leave NYC as The new World Heavyweight Champion!

Hosemann walks off the set with the crowd cheering his words of intensity.

A video package airs on the Jumbotron, highlighting the events that led us to tonight's confrontation between former Legacy partners Hollywood Mike Griffin and Superstar Scott Hosemann, with Griffin's coveted PWA Championship to be decided.

Down at ringside, "Parabola" by TOOL hits the speakers and the fans boo loudly as the PWA World Heavyweight Champion Hollywood Mike Griffin makes his way to the ring, accompanied by his manager Justin Schenck.  The crowd is abuzz with excitement as Griffin heads to the ring, knowing that the PWA Championship confrontation is upon us.  Griffin is all smiles as he enters the ring, perhaps not taking this match as seriously as he should.  As Griffin disrobes and prepares himself in the ring, "Superstar II" by Saliva hits and the fans explode as Superstar Scott Hosemann emerges.  Hosemann stalks down to the ring, never taking his eyes off Griffin, as he heads to the squared circle.  Finally, Hosemann reaches the ring and steps inside, standing face-to-face with his former stablemate as the bell sounds.

* PWA WORLD HEAVYWEIGHT CHAMPIONSHIP: HOLLYWOOD MIKE GRIFFIN (C) VS. SUPERSTAR SCOTT HOSEMANN *

Referee: Matt Hansen
Troy:  Alright, the PWA Championship is on the line!

Ferrara :  And the implications of this match are absolutely huge, Troy.  Scott Hosemann is not the number one contender to the PWA Championship; in fact, he is far from it.  However, Kerry Cox elected to grant Hosemann this match, a match that may prove to be Hosemann's last crack at championship glory.  He practically has his entire career riding on this performance.

Hosemann and Griffin circle each other in the ring, neither man quick to lunge at the other and make a mistake, Hosemann especially.  Suddenly, Griffin shoots in on Hosemann but the Superstar, proving that he does still have a bit of quickness in him, sprawls back and rolls over Griffin, locking him in a front facelock.  The fans applaud this effort.  Hosemann keeps the hold locked in for as long as he can before Griffin fights back to a vertical base and attempts to elbow his way out of it.  Finally, Griffin downs Hosemann with a hard belly-to-back suplex, freeing himself.  From there, Griffin applies a leg grapevine, locking it in tightly, trying to keep Hosemann grounded.  Hosemann writhes in pain in the move, but before long, Hosemann is able to get himself to the ropes and force the hold to be broken.

Troy:  As expected, Griffin is firmly in control at this juncture.

Ferrara:  Yeah Troy, Hosemann is doing all he can, but right now, Griffin is simply outclassing him.  I can't say that I'm surprised.

The match continues in this fashion, with Griffin remaining in complete control, for some time.  Hosemann gets outclassed with an array of suplexes that leaves him dizzy.  With Hosemann sufficiently dazed, Griffin looks for his rolling german suplexes.  Hosemann stumbles over, and Griffin grabs him in a waistlock, letting loose with the first of three consecutive german suplexes.  However, after the third one, Griffin doesn't bridge, as he normally does.  Instead, Griffin keeps the grip locked and nails a third.  And then a fourth.  Followed by a fifth.  In total, Griffin nails Hosemann with ten straight german suplexes, bridging the tenth.  All of Rockefeller Center can feel this match ending as the referee counts... one, two, thr-NO!  Hosemann kicks out!

Troy:  My God!  I can't believe Hosemann just kicked out of that!

Ferrara:  Well believe it, Troy Scott Hosemann is still alive in this thing, and these fans couldn't be happier!

Griffin can't believe that Hosemann has kicked out of ten german suplexes, but doesn't let it bother him.  Instead, he simply increases his focus and begins of other ways to put the Superstar away.  Griffin lifts Hosemann up and whips him hard into the corner, following up with repeated hard knife-edge chops to the chest.  Hosemann stumbles out of the corner, and when he does, Griffin nails him with a big overhead belly-to-belly suplex!  With Hosemann down, Griffin drags him into position and scales the top rope.

Troy:  Uh oh.  I know what's coming here.

FerraraGriffin is about to let loose with the moonsault.  If he hits this move, Troy, this match has to be over.

Griffin leaps off with a dazzling moonsault, setting flash bulbs off throughout Rockefeller Center... but Hosemann moves out of the way and Griffin crashes hard onto the mat!  Hosemann and Griffin are both slow to their feet, but when they do rise, Griffin swings a clothesline at Hosemann, but Hosemann ducks under it and looks for the Superstar Stunner... but Griffin spins Hosemann around and grabs him for a release german suplex... but Hosemann floats over, spins Griffin around, boots him in the stomach, and blasts him with the Superstar Stunner!

Troy:  Stunner!  Stunner!  Hosemann nailed the Stunner!

The fans are cheering wildly, but Hosemann cannot make the cover, having fallen back to the mat himself.  Eventually, both Griffin and Hosemann get back to a vertical base, with Hosemann having failed to capitalize on the Stunner.  When they both reach their feet, Griffin swings a clothesline at Hosemann, but the Superstar ducks under it, spins around, and blasts Griffin with another Stunner!  The fans are cheering wildly as Hosemann, at length, hooks the leg... one, two, thr-NO!  Griffin kicks out!

TroyGriffin kicked out!  My God!  I thought it was over!

Ferrara:  No one is giving in here!

Hosemann can't believe that Griffin has kicked out, but he carries on.  Hosemann pulls Griffin back to his feet, boots him in the stomach, and grabs him for another Superstar Stunner... but Griffin quickly grabs him from behind, turning the Stunner into the Culmination!  Griffin wrenches it in tightly and falls to the mat with it, refusing to let go!

Troy:  My God!  What a counter!

Ferrara:  Hosemann is in serious trouble here!

Griffin keeps the hold locked tightly and securely, refusing to relinquish it.  Hosemann tries valiantly to hang on, and does so for a length of time, but ultimately the pain is too much.  After nearly a minute in the hold, Hosemann's air supply cuts out and he passes out, never having submitted.  The referee has no choice but to stop the bout.  The fans boo incessantly as "Parabola" hits the speakers and Mike Griffin is declared still the PWA Champion.

* WINNER VIA SUBMISSION AND STILL PWA CHAMPION: HOLLYWOOD MIKE GRIFFIN *

Troy:  Paul, these fans aren't happy, but you have GOT to hand it to Scott Hosemann.  He gave every single thing he had tonight, and he nearly pulled off the upset of all upsets.

Ferrara:  It's true Troy.  Hosemann certainly showed me, and all these people, that at least for one night, he could regain that championship form.  He has absolutely NOTHING to be ashamed of.

The match is over, but Justin Schenck hits the ring with a chair and tells Griffin to finish the job.  Schenck lifts Hosemann off the mat, and Griffin clobbers Hosemann in the skull violently with it, splitting him open.  The fans boo vociferously, and Schenck loves it.  Schenck wraps the chair around Hosemann's ankle, and climbs up to the top rope.  As horror overtakes everyone in the crowd, Schenck leaps off and crashes down on the chair, surely shattering Hosemann's ankle!

Troy:  My God!  No!

FerraraTroy, this is too far!

Before any more damage can be done, Kerry Cox comes charging down the aisle with a chair, swinging it violently at Griffin and Schenck as they flee.  Cox stands over a fallen Hosemann, frantically waving for EMTs to come down, as Griffin and Schenck backpedal away, pleased with their actions.
