COREL CENTRE

OTTAWA, ONTARIO, CANADA

SEGMENT 9:  BACKSTAGE:
Mike Griffin and Greg Tantalus congregate in their dressing room about Griffin's upcoming match with Romeo.

Griffin:  Yeah I need to get a hot tub soon.  I'll buy one to celebrate the next movie I make.

Tantalus:  Good idea.

Griffin:  By the way, who's that guy I'm facing in the main event again?

Tantalus:  Romeo.

Griffin:  Oh yeah, he was one of those Hot Boy$, right?  The guy who's not uhhh...not uhhh...

Tantalus:  Jaguar.

Griffin:  Ah yes.

The fans boo this blatant display of disrespect, and their boos only escalate as Mike Troha enters the dressing room in a huff.

Troha:  Griffin, you have Romeo tonight right?

Griffin:  So I've just been told.

Troha:  Okay, well listen, I have a favor to ask you.

Griffin:  A favor?  What kind of favor?

Troha:  I want to make sure that tonight, Romeo is destroyed.

Griffin:  That's the plan, isn't it?

Troha:  No, I mean really destroyed.  I want him almost completely out of commission.  Except I want you to leave just a little bit left for me.

Griffin seems to ponder this for a moment.  Tantalus meanwhile goes about his normal business, ignoring the two.

Griffin:  Alright, I don't see why not.

A grin spreads across Troha's face, for the first time in a while.  The crowd obviously does not like the sound of this at all.

SEGMENT 10:  MATCH 4:  SPEED DEMON & JUSTICE VS. INFERNUS & TONY ANNETTA:
Referee:  Jose Soares

The team of Infernus and Tony Annetta, accompanied by Walter Gindin, arrives on the ramp.  Gindin grins with satisfaction as his clients receive among more the powerful negative reactions he's had the pleasure of experiencing first hand en route to the ring.  Shortly thereafter, however, the jeers become cheers as the duo of Speed Demon and Justice emerges from behind the curtain, and stalk to the ring with a confident hunger for victory in their step.  Infernus, Annetta, and Gindin escape the ring as their opponents enter.

Troy:  The team of Justice and Speed Demon has been picking up plenty of steam lately.

Ferrara:  Well it seems like Gindin's put together quite a team himself.

Demon and Justice conclude their entrance as Justice steps out onto the apron.  Their opponents congregate on the outside with their manager, and then Infernus steps into the ring to meet Demon, as Annetta takes to the apron.  The bell rings and Infernus and Demon circle about rapidly, before locking up in the center of the ring.  Infernus immediately takes Demon over to the mat with a headlock, but Demon scissors his legs around Infernus' neck to counter.  Infernus kicks out, and meets Demon with a hard right cross.

Infernus stomps Demon in the gut and the fans boo this disrespect for sportsmanship.  Infernus then whips Demon towards the corner shoulder first, but Demon reverses it.  Infernus back hits the corner, and as he staggers forward out of it, Demon levels him with a spinning heel kick!  The crowd roars as Infernus struggles to his feet!  Demon approaches with a full head of steam, but Infernus catches him in position for the Stair Dismount!  The crowd gasps, but Demon blocks it, and quickly blasts him hard with the Bloodbath DDT!

Troy:  Whoa!

Ferrara:  Yeah not even I saw that coming.

Demon covers and the referee counts one, two, but Annetta swoops in and kicks Demon off!  The crowd is furious, until Justice comes in and tackles Annetta out of the ring!  Justice and Annetta brawl on the outside, as Demon climbs the ring post for the Shadow of the Nite!  However, Gindin leaps up onto the apron and shoves him off, further infuriating the fans!  Demon lands on his back, and immediately Infernus takes to his feet, and performs a quebrada.  Infernus covers and the referee counts one, two, but Demon narrowly kicks out!

Infernus beckons Demon to return to his feet, and as he does, he kicks him in the gut, and positions him for the Ganso Bomb!  However, Demon reverses out of it, and positions Infernus for the Demonizer!  Gindin climbs into the ring and pulls Infernus off of him!  On the outside, Justice clotheslines Annetta, and slides into the ring, where he positions Gindin for the Blind Justice!  In the confusion however, Annetta enters the ring, and belts Demon with brass knuckles!  Annetta then returns to his assaults on Justice.

Troy:  This has erupted into utter chaos.

Ferrara:  I have a feeling we're gonna be seeing a lot more of this.

Infernus wastes no time covering Demon, and the referee counts one, two, yes three.  The crowd is on fire with anger as a terrified Gindin escapes Blind Justice, and then the ring.  Annetta and Infernus then also flee the ring, as Justice tends to the fallen Demon.  Demon recovers and both of the defeated stare down their opponents as they backpedal up the ramp, definitely more daunted than satisfied.

SEGMENT 11:  MATCH 5:  WOMEN’S CHAMPION LAUREN TANTALUS & CAMIEKO VS. JADE & LIZ RUSH:
Referee:  Dan Martin

The crowd’s murmurs are soon replaced with raucous jeers when Kidneythieves’ “Zerospace” floods the arena and brings out Jade, being accompanied with Walter Gindin and, a face that is familiar in NYCW, Liz Rush. The crowd shows no appreciation for them whatsoever, as the two women climb into the ring and await their opponents while Gindin takes his spot on the outside. Jade’s theme soon fades as they settle in the ring, and the crowd breaks into cheers when “Hot Like Fire” by Aaliyah hits and prompts Camieko to appear. The fans welcome the Hot Girl as she walks down and stops at the foot of the ramp, awaiting the arrival of her partner who is greeted with a huge pop from the crowd as Lauren Tantalus marches out to VAST’s “Free.” Tantalus and Camieko greet each other with a simple nod and they slide into the ring. The two teams keep their distance with the help of the referee, but still mouth off at each other. Tantalus removes her belt and hands it to the ref, who has the bell ring to start the match.

Troy: This should be an interesting tag match.

Ferrara: I’m looking forward to seeing what Rush can do. She’s a three-time NYCW Women’s Champion.

Rush and Tantalus opt to start things off. They circle the ring and Rush soon rushes Tantalus, who greets her with a quick hip toss. Rush rolls back onto her feet and settles in the corner for a moment. The women’s champion beckons for Jade to enter the ring and the crowd roars in agreement. Rush chooses not to comply however, and begins trading blows with Tantalus. Rush slowly gets the advantage and backs herself into the ropes, but is downed with a big clothesline from the champion! Tantalus heads over into her corner and tags in Camieko!

Troy: Smart move by the champ, to rotate out and keep things fresh.

Camieko goes right after Rush, sending her to the mat with a hip toss, followed by an arm drag, and finishing it with a shoulder tackle. The crowd pumps her up and she whips a groggy Rush into the ropes. Camieko bounces off the opposite side, but Jade reaches over and kicks Camieko with a cheap shot to the back of the head. Camieko is dazed and is unable to avoid Rush as she clotheslines her to the floor. With Camieko on the mat and clutching her head, Rush heads to her own corner and tags in Jade.

Troy: Look at this poor display of-

Ferrara: Shut up,
Troy! Camieko should’ve been paying attention!

Jade comes into the ring and does a number on Camieko, not allowing her to gain any advantage. With Camieko still on dream street, Jade plants her with a vicious DDT and goes for the cover... one, two, thr-no! Camieko gets a shoulder up! Jade pries Camieko off the mat and gets her in position for the Side Effect, but Camieko works on instinct and elbows her in the jaw, allowing her enough space to drive Jade into the mat with a suplex! Tantalus reaches out for a tag, desperate to get her hands on Jade, but Camieko motions for the St. Kinard Splash. Gindin shouts at Jade and slaps the mat.

Ferrara: No! She’ll injure that beautiful face!

Camieko heads into the corner and starts climbing the ropes, but Tantalus tags herself in anyway! Camieko looks confused and Tantalus gets into the ring. However, Camieko hops off the ropes and spins her around, demanding an explanation, knowing full well she had the match in hand. They get into a shouting contest as Jade begins to stir. Jade crawls back and tags in Rush, who races forward and pushes Tantalus into Camieko. They bump heads and Tantalus wobbles back, into Rush’s grasp for a cobra clutch bomb. Rush hits the move with sheer force and covers the champ... one, two, three.

Ferrara: What an upset! A newcomer from NYCW pins the Women’s Champion!

Troy: Tantalus and Camieko were arguing! They don’t even know what happened!

Joydrop’s “Thick Skin” hits and Rush quickly evacuates the ring with Jade and Gindin. They raise their arms as they backpedal up the ramp, and in the ring Camieko holds her head and looks down at Tantalus. Camieko shakes her head and climbs out of the ring, leaving the Women’s Champion stirring.

SEGMENT 12:  BACKSTAGE:

A camera cuts backstage to The Hot Boy$ dressing room, where Romeo is tying up his black bandana as Jaguar looks on.

Jaguar: Rome, I can't begin to tell you how much I wish I was in this match tonight. I just wanna tear Griffin apart for costing me that title shot.

Romeo: I feel you, but tonight, he's in the ring with me. But I'll do you a favor Jag, I'll leave a little bit for you after I'm through whuppin his ass tonight.

Jaguar: You do that, but try to make it quick. I can't say that I won't want to come out there and get myself a little revenge on this punk during your match.

Romeo: Well I'll say it. I'm gonna go out there, kick some ass, and you're gonna stay back here and watch me do it. I've got this.

Jaguar: Alright Rome, make it happen cuz. I'll be right here.

Romeo leaves the room for the ring and Jaguar shakes his head before turning back to the television set.

The Dreaming’s “Beautiful” hits the speakers and we see a graphic appear on the screen that reads “PWA Everlasting Epic III Report.”  From there, the shot takes us to a backstage set and PWA reporter Ron O’Brien, who is standing in front of a backdrop featuring the EE3 logo.

SEGMENT 14:  MATCH 6:  ROMEO VS. HOLLYWOOD MIKE GRIFFIN:
Referee:  Tom Stevens

A raucous, rowdy ovation synchronizes with the initial sound of B.G.'s "Hottest of the Hot" blasting over the Corel Centre sound system.  The Ottawa capacity crowd goes wild as Romeo takes his place on the ramp, and raises his arms amidst his pyro.  Romeo, usually a man who takes his time getting to the ring, hurries towards the foot of the ramp, eager to do the fans a favor and teach his opponent a lesson tonight.  That opponent is "Hollywood" Mike Griffin, and he smugly makes his way to the ring to the hard sound of "Parabola" by TOOL.

Ferrara:  How can you not admire the style?!  The class!  The fanfare!

Troy:  The fanfare?!  In my estimation, Griffin is definitely not faring with the fans at all!

Griffin takes his time stepping into the ring, and Romeo looks like he is about to foam at the mouth with the craving to slap the smirk off of the former PWA World Heavyweight Champion's face.  Griffin sheds his robe and his shades in what might as well be slow motion, and Romeo gets up in his face to remind him that it's time for a contest here.  Griffin simply backs away, and his smile widens.  Romeo can't take it anymore and he drops Griffin with a devastating left haymaker.  The bell rings and the crowd goes totally berserk.

Romeo continues to pummel
Griffin towards the ropes.  At the ropes, Romeo prepares to whip Griffin towards the opposing ropes, but Griffin holds onto the ropes, locks Romeo into a hammerlock, shoves him away, and slides right out of the ring in retreat.  Griffin plays to the crowd, and they are not pleased at all with the little coffee break.  Romeo however, will have none of it, and he climbs out of the ring, before smashing Griffin's face right into the commentary table!  Romeo then whips Griffin headlong towards the steel steps!

Troy:  How can Griffin not be intimidated by Romeo?  I almost pissed myself when they just came that close.  The man is scary.

Ferrara:  Please, Troy, it's easy when you have a world championship and a box office blockbuster under your belt.

Griffin reverses the whip, and Romeo collides back first with the metal.  The fans gasp at the impact.  Griffin suddenly becomes focused, and grabs Romeo by the back of the head, before leading him over to the barricade.  Griffin, in a tremendous display of strength, then elevates Romeo before dropping him face first onto the barricade.  Griffin then takes a breather again, as he taunts the crowd.  He climbs onto the apron, and as Romeo turns around, he takes to the air with a flying cross body.  Romeo easily catches him.

Romeo then elevates
Griffin into gorilla press position!  Then, in what must be the most vulgar display of power seen all night, Romeo tosses Griffin over the top rope and into the ring, from the arena floor!  The fans go wild as Romeo rolls into the ring, raises his arm to the crowd, and then takes a horrified Griffin clean off his feet with a devastating clothesline that sends him spinning in various directions before awkwardly hitting the mat!  Before Griffin can even move, Romeo hits the ropes, and drops a leg drop!

Troy:  What a brutal leg drop!  Lights out for Griffin!  Dre Day can't be too far off!

Ferrara:  I wouldn't say that.  If you'd direct your attention towards the entrance ramp.

Greg Tantalus makes his way to ringside and the crowd is not thrilled about this, but Tantalus looks calm, and not conspiratorial.  Romeo continues to dominate Griffin, as he tosses him around from pillar to post, and keeps him grounded with hard knees to the gut in combination with various power moves.  Romeo whips Griffin towards the opposing corner, but Griffin barely manages to reverses it.  Romeo's back hits the corner, and Griffin closes in with a full head of steam, but Romeo lunges forward, stops short, and hits a power slam!

Romeo covers
Griffin for the one, two, and Griffin barely kicks out, as Tantalus leaps onto the apron in a panic!  The fans boo, but Tantalus drops off of the apron before the referee notices.  The crowd then cheers as Jaguar makes his way to the ring!  Jaguar clearly means to keep order as he circles around the ring.  Tantalus keeps his distance.  Meanwhile in the ring, Romeo continues full speed ahead towards what could be one of the biggest victories of his career.  Griffin locks onto him for multiple German suplexes.

Troy:  I must say, I may have never seen Romeo this passionate about pursuing a singles victory!

Romeo receives a first, then a second German suplex.  Romeo then blocks the third, ducks behind
Griffin, and sets him up for the reverse death valley driver!  The fans go wild, but Griffin pushes off of it in mid air, and locks onto Romeo for the Culmination!  Romeo struggles wildly, and quickly backs towards the corner!  The scramble is so erratic that Romeo accidentally smashes the referee into the corner as well, breaking the hold!  Griffin is also knocked silly from the impact, and Romeo immediately scoops him up for Dre Day!

Tantalus slides into the ring like clockwork and tackles Romeo, which releases
Griffin.  However, Jaguar is there to clothesline Tantalus thereafter!  Griffin and Romeo both return to their feet, and a four man melee ensues!  The brawl is extremely even, until to the dismay of the entire arena, "The Miracle" Mike Troha sneaks into the ring, and quickly blasts Romeo with the Suburban Slam.  This allows Griffin and Tantalus to double team Jaguar clean out of the ring.  Griffin then immediately takes to the top turnbuckle.

Troy:  Oh no!  Don't let it end like this!

Ferrara:  The referee is stirring!  Those guys need to get out of there!

Tantalus and Troha evacuate as Griffin takes to the air with the High Diving Moonsault.  Griffin simply remains draped over Romeo as the referee comes to and counts one...two...yes, three.  Griffin rises to exhaustedly begin a celebration, but Jaguar in a rage rolls into the ring and assaults Griffin!  However, Troha and Tantalus are there to make the save, and the fans are left in bitter disappointment as the core trio of the former TFU proceeds to dismantle the Hot Boy$, and rid the ring of them as we fade to black.
