TUESDAY, JULY 12, 2005 * BUDOKAN HALL * TOKYO, JAPAN

Returning from break, "Thick Skin" by Joydrop hits the speakers and the fans cheer loudly for Liz Rush, who makes her way to the ring with a look of determination on her face.  Liz stretches out on the ropes as "B R Right" by Trina and Ludacris hits and the fans cheer wildly for Dee Licious, who makes her way down with new hot pink and black ring attire, ready for combat.  Dee steps into the ring and the bell sounds, ready to get this match underway.

Troy:  Alright, this is a big-time women's match right here.  The winner of this one will earn the right to meet Tokyo's own undefeated Women's Champion Keiko Ishida for the gold on July 24th Live From Rockefeller Center.

FerraraTroy, I must say, I don't really think either of these girls can beat Keiko.  Liz has already proven on a number of occasions that she can't, and I doubt Dee can either.

Troy:  Either way, I'd say Keiko is rooting for Liz here, because she knows she can beat her.  Dee is an unknown commodity, having been out for so long.  But Paul, she IS a two-time former champion.

Ferrara:  This is true.

* DEE LICIOUS VS. LIZ RUSH *
REFEREE:  DAN MARTIN

Dee and Liz lock up in the center of the ring, and it is Dee who establishes the early advantage, shoving Liz down to the mat.  Liz gets up and grabs Dee in a side headlock, but Dee shoves her off the ropes and nails her with a back body drop as she returns!  Liz stumbles to her feet and Dee charges at her, but Liz slides out of the way and pulls the top rope, sending Dee flying out of the ring!  The fans cheer a little and boo a little, but as Liz stands in the ring, Keiko Ishida comes stampeding down the aisle, prompting the fans to cheer raucously for their favorite daughter.

Troy:  It's Keiko!

Ferrara:  What the hell is she doing here?!

Keiko heads into the ring and, as soon as Liz turns around, destroys her with her devastating running STO!  The Tokyo crowd cheers endlessly as she flattens Liz, prompting the bell to sound.  Dee is in disbelief as she steps back into the ring, realizing what has happened.  Ring announcer Lee Palmer has the call.

Palmer:  Ladies and gentlemen, the winner of this match as a result of a disqualification, Liz Rush!

* WINNER VIA DISQUALIFICATION:  LIZ RUSH *

Dee is furious, and lunges at Keiko, who blows a kiss at her and quickly exits the ring.  The Tokyo crowd cheers Ishida on, dubious tactics notwithstanding, and Dee seethes in the ring, realizing she has just been screwed out of her title shot, as the winner of the bout lies motionless on the mat.  With that, we head to commercial.

-- COMMERCIAL BREAK --

We return from the break in the backstage area, where Dee Licious and Liz Rush are in the midst of a heated argument.

Dee:  You can't possibly tell me that you think that win was legitimate!  How can you accept the title shot?!

Liz:  Listen Dee, what happened out there was unfortunate, and I know it was deliberately done, but I want to be Women's Champion just as badly as you do, Dee.  I've never had a taste of that PWA gold, and you have.

Dee:  But you can't beat Keiko, I can.

Liz:  How do you know?

Walter Gindin then walks over smiling.

Gindin:  You won't know, because you get no shot.

Dee:  You're lucky you didn't bring Keiko or I'd...

Gindin:  You'd what?  Get your ass beaten in?  I did you a favor Dee, remember that.

Just then, Commissioner Kerry Cox walks into the picture, and everyone quiets down.

Cox:  You did Dee a favor, Walter?  Then let me do her a favor too.  Since we're all into giving favors now apparently.  Now, Dee, I agree, you were screwed out there tonight, and it was unfortunate.  It was an exhibition of blatant disregard for my orders on the part of the champion and her agent.  However, Liz, you DID win the match via disqualification, so I won't take your shot away from you.  Walter, I remember how you told me I can't book Keiko's defenses in one-on-one matches unless someone is the number one contender.  However, I CAN book defenses if they are NOT one-on-one matches.  Therefore, on July 24th, Live From Rockefeller Center, it will be, for the Women's Championship, Keiko Ishida vs. Liz Rush... vs. Dee Licious in a triple threat match.

Gindin:  No!  You can't do that!  Keiko can lose the title without even being pinned!

Cox:  Exactly.  Have a good day.

Cox then exits as Gindin throws a fit.

Gindin:  This is discrimination!  I'll get you for this Cox!  If she loses the belt, I'll sue!

Gindin exits and Dee and Liz are left, glaring at each other, both pleased with the decision.

Dee:  Hey Liz.

Liz:  Yeah?

Dee:  Good luck.

Liz:  Thanks.

Liz and Dee shake hands and the camera fades.  We are then directed to the Jumbotron.

Oasis' "Turn Up The Sun" hits the speakers and we see a graphic appear on the screen that reads "PWA Live From Rockefeller Center Report."  From there, the shot takes us to a backstage set and PWA reporter Ron O'Brien, who is standing in front of a backdrop featuring the Live From Rockefeller Center logo.

O'Brien:  Hello ladies and gentlemen, my name is Ron O'Brien and this is the Live From Rockefeller Center report.  The Progressive Wrestling Alliance will return to pay-per-view on Sunday evening, July 24th, when we take our annual trip to New York City's Rockefeller Center for a pay-per-view spectacular aptly titled Live From Rockefeller Center!  The whole card has been announced, so let's get right to it!

For the PWA World Heavyweight Championship, former allies collide as the champion Hollywood Mike Griffin, with the backing of The Legacy, defends against former Legacy member Superstar Scott Hosemann!

The Modern-Day Samurai Scythe challenges Da Playboi Romeo for the ORA World Heavyweight title!

With the Everlasting Epic world championship shot on the line, Greg Tantalus defends against Jackie Baccaro, who will have Vulture in his corner!

The Tag Team Championship is up for grabs as Alpha Omega defends against the superteam of Jaguar and Briggs!

With the International Championship on the line, champion Paul Dawkins meets two-time former champion Mike Grieco!

The Women's title will be defended in a triple-threat match, as Keiko Ishida faces Liz Rush and Dee Licious in a match where the undefeated champion doesn't have to be pinned to lose her title!

Dexter P. Wellington defends his Progressive Championship against upstart newcomer Victor Simon!

And, in a three-on-two handicapped match, the Army of the Damned, comprised of Bishop Cross, Loki and Reaper, will go to war with GI Jew and Renegade!

All this and more coming your way Sunday, July 24, Live From Rockefeller Center in New York City, exclusively on pay-per-view!  That's all for this week, folks.  For the Live From Rockefeller Center report, I'm Ron O'Brien, saying see you next week!

-- COMMERCIAL BREAK --

Returning from break, Nick Cade is standing by with the Iceman Jason Calysto.

Cade:  Iceman, thanks for taking this time out to speak with us.  We wanted to get your thoughts on the big six-man tag team match that is coming up next, pitting Scythe, Greg Tantalus and Scott Hosemann against Mike Griffin, Romeo and Jackie Baccaro.

Calysto:  Frankly Nick, I can't say I care too much about it.  The only thing I've thought about for the last week is that ORA Championship.  I just can't get over the fact that Scythe has been awarded a shot at the title by costing me the PWA title.  It just isn't right, Nick.

Cade:  So what do you suggest?

Calysto:  I suggest Bryan Conroy making that match a triple threat match at Live From Rockefeller Center, and throwing me into the mix.  But we all know he won't do that.  That's just not the way that man operates.  But I should get a shot at that title.  I was on my way to beating Griffin at Meltdown, and if I had the opportunity, I'd take any title I wanted to.

Cade:  Is there any tension between yourself and Scythe?

Calysto:  Tension.  Nah, no tension.  I've got no problem with him.  He did cost me the PWA title, and I owe him something.  But other than that, we're cool.  I just don't think he deserves the shot he's getting, nor did he deserve the one he got two weeks ago.

Cade:  Thanks a lot, Jay.

Calysto:  Any time.

Cade:  Alright, Vic, Paul, back to you.

Troy:  Don't go anywhere, folks!  It's the six-man tag team match, our main event, and it's up next!

Ferrara:  I can't wait!

-- COMMERCIAL BREAK --

The crowd is amped for main event action and they are about to get it as Tool's "Parabola" blasts through the speakers first. Justin Schenck leads Hollywood Mike Griffin out through the curtain and
Griffin shows his disdain for the fans before pointing into the air with both arms to signal the start of his tremendous fireworks display. The PWA champion climbs into the ring and does his trademark spin before disrobing. The Notorious B.I.G.'s "Things Done Changed" hits next, and another loud chorus of boos welcomes Jackie Baccaro and Vulture to the ring. Baccaro looks ready for action, but stops to pose in front of his gold fireworks before making his way into the ring. Baccaro and Vulture show no reaction for Griffin and Schenck, and they do the same as three D-Bombs whistle down to the stage and detonate with huge impact as B.G.'s "I Want It" thumps over the PA system next. Romeo arrives to another boo-filled serenade, but they can't bring down the ORA Champion as he holds his belt high in the air and steps into the ring.

Troy: This is quite the three-man unit. What must it be like in there for Jackie Baccaro? He has both the PWA and ORA Champions as his partners, but there's a chance that he will face one of them if he beats Greg Tantalus and they beat the other two men in this match.

Saliva's "Superstar II" hits and the crowd comes alive as Superstar Scott Hosemann marches his way out through the curtain. Seeing the ring flooded with sharks, Hosemann remains on the outside as Lacuna Coil's "Heaven's A Lie" brings Greg Tantalus out. The Smooth One walks out to a huge ovation and joins Hosemann on the outside. He never takes his eyes off of his three opponents as Linkin Park's "With You" plays last. The entrance clouds with smoke and it doesn't take long for Scythe to walk out to an immense pop!

Troy: What an ovation for Scythe!

Ferrara: They love this team, but they're facing the hottest three guys in the business right now. A win here will not be easy.

* PWA CHAMPION HOLLYWOOD MIKE GRIFFIN, ORA CHAMPION ROMEO & JACKIE BACCARO VS. SUPERSTAR SCOTT HOSEMANN, SCYTHE & GREG TANTALUS *
REFEREE:  BILLY VARGAS

Scythe joins his team and they enter the ring in unison. Billy Vargas keeps them separated until Scythe and Baccaro decide to start things off. They lock up hard in the middle of the ring, and Baccaro uses his power to force Scythe backward into a corner. Vargas calls for a clean break, but Baccaro tries to connect with a foreram.

Scythe ducks out of the way and stings Baccaro with two chops to the chest before laying him down with a double hand chop. Baccaro gets up and Scythe Irish whips him to the ropes and downs him with a high back body drop! Tantalus demands a tag and Scythe gives it, but Baccaro gets out of dodge by tagging in Romeo.

Romeo hits Tantalus with a knee to the midsection before nailing him with a right hand to the head. He lands another before attempting an Irish whip, but Tantalus reverses it. Romeo bounces off the ropes and uses his momentum to bowl Tantalus over with a running should block! Romeo makes a quick cover for a one count before lifting Tantalus back up.

He shoots him to the ropes and then hoists him high for a gorilla press slam, but Tantalus slips out and drops Romeo on his head with a belly-to-back suplex! Tantalus mounts Romeo and wails on his forehead with a few overhand rights before being forced off by Vargas. Tantalus argues and goes back after Da Playboi, but he is taken down with a violent clothesline! Romeo then shakes off the cobwebs and makes a tag to Griffin, who mocks Tantalus as he climbs into the ring.

Troy: Now look at Mike Griffin here, taunting Greg Tantalus.

Ferrara: Well he still hasn't beaten him yet Troy.

Griffin delivers a sharp kick to Tantalus' head before lifting him up and dropping him with a scoop slam. Griffin heads up to the middle rope and drops a fist on Tantalus' head before making a cover. He only gets a count of two and quickly gets Tantalus back on his feet. He reddens his chest with a chop, but Tantalus shows some life by returning it. Griffin rocks backwards and Tantalus swings a wild right hand, but his former partner ducks it and drops him with a German suplex! Griffin keeps his grip tight and lands two more in succession before popping up to his feet and pointing to the top rope. Griffin walks over to a corner and scales the turnbuckles for his signature moonsault, but Tantalus rolls away and he misses!

Troy: He missed! Tantalus is back in it, but he needs a tag here!

Ferrara: And so does Hollywood; he took a big shot there missing that moonsault.

Griffin is closer to his corner, but Tantalus manages to grab him by the boot. In one fluid motion, Tantalus swings his free arm to tag in Hosemann! Hosemann enters to a huge ovation and quickly drops an elbow on Griffin to keep him down. Hosemann grabs Griffin by the leg and rags him back before mounting him and driving rapid fists into his cranium.

Vargas gets Hosemann off, but The Superstar is on fire. He knocks Baccaro and Romeo down off the apron with right hands before getting behind Griffin. Griffin wobbles up to his feet and Hosemann is coiled and ready to deliver The Superstar Stunner, but he is taken down and tackled from behind by Darrin Giles! Scythe and Tantalus try to help, but they are yanked down by Alpha Omega, and Billy Vargas calls for the bell as they brawl!

Troy: Dammit! The Legacy has ruined it again! Griffin was about to feel that Superstar Stunner firsthand!

* WINNERS VIA DISQUALIFICATION:  SUPERSTAR SCOTT HOSEMANN, SCYTHE & GREG TANTALUS *

Hosemann gets the upper hand on Giles, but he is soon clubbed down from behind by Romeo. Baccaro joins in as Griffin recovers, and a six-man beatdown commences on the three crowd favorites. John Wolfe and Paul Epton rush down to help, but they are quickly taken down as well. Vargas calls for the bell to ring, but the familiar Legacy-led attack continues until The Iceman Jason Calysto runs down to the ring with a chair in hand!

Troy: The Iceman is here!

Ferrara: And he's not empty-handed!

Calysto slides into the ring and Price tries to stop him, but he gets the chair to the ribs before it’s smacked hard over his back! Giles tries next, but he gets a stiff chairshot to the skull! The rest of the ring wants nothing to do with The Iceman and all scurry out to backpedal up the ramp as Calysto holds the chair over his head.

Troy: Jason Calysto has just cleared the ring here!

Ferrara: He's swinging like a man possessed!

The Legacy exits with Baccaro and Romeo, and Oasis' "F*ckin' In The Bushes" plays through the speakers as Calysto hops out of the ring, never checking on the five men he helped. Scythe gets up and yells for him, but Calysto turns around to deliver a cold stare to the Modern Day Samurai that leaves everyone puzzled as Frequency closes.
