TUESDAY, JULY 12, 2005 * BUDOKAN HALL * TOKYO, JAPAN

A video package airs, highlighting events that took place last week on Frequency, with a match being signed for Live From Rockefeller Center on July 24 pitting PWA Champion Hollywood Mike Griffin against former Legacy leader Superstar Scott Hosemann for the gold.  From there, Linkin Park 's "By_Myslf" hits and we are sent inside Budokan Hall in Tokyo, Japan, where a glorious pyrotechnics display ensues, and we are taken to our commentators, Victor Troy and Paul Ferrara.

Troy:  Hello everyone, and welcome to PWA Frequency!  I'm Victor Troy, along here with Paul Ferrara, and we are here tonight in Tokyo, Japan for what should be a momentous night of action!

Ferrara:  It sure should, Troy, and I cannot wait!  The atmosphere tonight in Tokyo is absolutely electric, and these fans are ready to go!

Troy:  We've got a huge Meltdown rematch tonight, folks, as Jaguar and Briggs team up again to meet the team of Solomon and Infernus, and this time, the winners will challenge Alpha Omega for the Tag Team Championship July 24 Live From Rockefeller Center!

Ferrara:  That should be an explosive confrontation!

Troy:  We will also see a fatal fourway elimination match tonight, as Dean Nash, Damien Fields, Victor Simon and Darrin Giles do battle for the number one contendership to the Progressive Championship and the right to challenge Dexter P. Wellington Live From Rockefeller Center.

Ferrara:  Not to mention Liz Rush facing off with Dee Licious for the right to challenge Keiko Ishida for the Women's Championship Live From Rockefeller Center as well.

Troy:  It should be an action-packed night and...

The commentators are cut off as a huge blast of pyro erupts from the stage and "Footprints" by Young Buck and 50 Cent booms over the speakers. The crowd roars with approval as Showtime Damon Savage emerges from the back and makes his way down to the ring. The former Progressive and International Champion climbs into the ring and grabs a microphone before quieting the crowd.

Savage: Thank you guys, but I'm out here on serious business. A few weeks ago, I called Vladimir Vydrina out here to come inside this ring and fight me like a man. What I got was Jon Dulberg, who wanted a rematch to "finish what he started" with me. Well we saw what happened to him. He got his ass whipped at the hands of Showtime, but after the match, I got jumped by big Vlad. I'm tired of this crap. I'm not into running around and beating around the bush. I'm into running my mouth and beating asses. Vladimir Vydrina, you already know the deal. Get out here!

"Exorcism" begins and Vydrina steps out, flanked by his wife, Natasha, and "Not That" Rodney King. All three slowly walk to the ring and step inside as King grabs a microphone.

King: Showtime...

Savage: Shut the hell up Rodney! (Crowd cheers) I've heard enough from you! Give her the damn microphone so this guy can talk!

Fearing the worst, King hands the mic to a nervous Natasha.

Natasha: Showtime, I have spoken with my husband about the challenge you issued--

Savage: (Cutting her off) A simple yes or no would work. But it better not be no.

Natasha: Watch when you cut me off, or you'll get cut off right here and now. My husband has agreed to climb into the ring with you, but on three conditions.

Savage: What?

Natasha: Number one, he wants it to be on the biggest stage there is in this industry, Everlasting Epic.

Savage: Done.

Natasha: Number two, it must be held in our homeland of Russia. Moscow, to be exact.

Savage: I don't give a damn if its in Moscow, Massachusetts, Mozambique, Minnesota or Manitoba, I just want this guy one-on-one beat his ass!

Vladimir Vydrina whsipers something into his wife's ear before resuming his cold stare at Showtime.

Natasha: You can have it if you agree to the last condition. Vladimir will meet you in a match in Moscow at Everlasting Epic 4, but it must be done in a boxing match.

Troy and Ferrara: A boxing match?!

Savage: Oh, you don't wanna wrestle me? Fine. I can't bash your face there. You wanna throw down in the boxing ring, thats cool. But just remember that payback is comin, and all of your family and friends are gonna come see it. You have no idea what you just signed up for punk. See you in the ring!

Troy: My goodness, our first Everlasting Epic match was agreed upon, and its a boxing match!

Ferrara: Showtime and Vydrina finally going at it, I can't wait for that!

"Footprints" replays as Showtime hops out of the ring and makes his exit, staring down the opposition as we head to our first break.

-- COMMERCIAL BREAK --

Back from commercial, "Parabola" by TOOL explodes onto the speakers and the fans begin booing raucously as the PWA World Heavyweight Champion Hollywood Mike Griffin makes his way to the ring, alongside his manager Justin Schenck.  Griffin, wearing a white suit and blue-tinted sunglasses, gingerly walks to the ring, grabbing a microphone and stepping inside.

Griffin:  So, in just 12 days, I will step into the ring and defend this PWA Championship against a very undeserving opponent, former Legacy stablemate Superstar Scott Hosemann.  I'll tell you, the only thing more ridiculous than me having to defend the title against Hosemann is the fact that he actually thinks he has a chance to win.  So, enough about him.  Let's get down to real business.  Saturday, August 20th.  Four different countries around the world.  Everlasting Epic IV.  The biggest event this industry has ever seen.  And as of mere moments ago, we have one match announced.  Headlining the Russian portion of the show, Showtime Damon Savage will face Russia's own Vladimir Vydrina in boxing match scheduled for 12 rounds.  It should be awesome.  Wait, Justin... is this Everlasting Epic IV or Rocky IV?

Schenck:  I believe Everlasting Epic, champ.

Griffin:  Ah.  Well, you know, big boxing match in Russia against an invincible Russian opponent, you can't blame me.  Anyway, that's exactly why we need to get some more matches on this card.  Namely the main event, the PWA Championship bout.  And since Hosemann poses no threat to this championship, I thought it was about time we look towards EE.  Now, that brings me to this next person.  Greg Tantalus, I know you have your hands full right now with Jackie Baccaro, and I know you said you wouldn't make a decision until two weeks for tonight, and quite frankly, the decision may not even be yours to make by then, but I have something to say, so come on out here.

Moments later, "Heaven's a Lie" by Lacuna Coil hits and Greg Tantalus makes his way to the ring to a thunderous ovation.  Tantalus grabs a mic and cautiously steps into the ring with Griffin.

Tantalus:  What do you want, Griffin?

Griffin:  I want to remind you of something.  So please, turn your attention to the Jumbotron.

On the Jumbotron, a video package airs of Mike Griffin beating Greg Tantalus on numerous different occasions, and showcases the looks on Tantalus' face every time he has failed to defeat his former partner.  As we return to the ring, Griffin is smiling and Tantalus is angry.

Griffin:  You see Greg, just in case you forgot, you simply cannot beat me.  You never were able to, and you never will be able to.  Accept it now.  I called you out here to give you some advice.  You did a great thing in winning the Symphony of Destruction.  I mean, not quite as great as when I did it two years ago, but great nonetheless.  Don't blow the opportunity you have now.  Don't waste this title shot, if you still have it come July 26th when you make your decision, on losing to me yet again.  Believe me, you'd have a much better chance trying your luck with Romeo for the ORA title.

Seconds later, "I Want It" by BG blasts onto the speakers and an aggravated and indignant ORA Champion Romeo makes his way to the ring, mic in hand.

Romeo:  Oh, he'd have a much better chance against me, huh Griffin?  Listen Tantalus, you make whatever decision you damn well please, but know this.  If you so much as step anywhere near that ring with me at Everlasting Epic, I'll smoke your ass and you'll wish you just went and got beat by Griffin like the bitch you are.  Because I won't just beat you.  I'll kill you.

Suddenly, Jackie Baccaro darts into the ring and clubs Tantalus down from behind!  Griffin and Romeo look at each other confusedly before joining in, commencing a brutal three-on-one assault on Tantalus!  The assault continues for several moments before Scythe and Superstar Scott Hosemann stampede to the ring!  Scythe clotheslines Romeo out and Hosemann disposes of Griffin!  Schenck exits before anyone can get to him and Scythe and Hosemann team to rid the ring of Baccaro before helping Tantalus to his feet!  The fans cheer wildly as an intense staredown ensues and we take another commercial break.

-- COMMERCIAL BREAK --

Back from commercial, Dexter P. Wellington's music, "Marriage of Figaro," is playing, and
Wellington has joined Troy and Ferrara for commentary, Winston at his side.

Troy:  Alright, as you can see, the Progressive Champion Dexter P. Wellington is ringside, ready to do commentary for this next match, but folks, we have some big news first.  During the break, a blockbuster six-man tag team main event for tonight was signed.  It's gonna be PWA Champion Hollywood Mike Griffin, ORA Champion Romeo and Jackie Baccaro against Superstar Scott Hosemann, Scythe and Greg Tantalus!

Ferrara:  That should be amazing!

Wellington:  Yes, yes, it's lovely, but please, let's focus here.  Some unlucky fool is going to sign his death warrant tonight, and I am quite anxious to find out whom.

At ringside, "Control" by Earshot hits the speakers, the fans boo and Darrin Giles makes his way to the ring alone, presumably because Justin Schenck is in the back talking strategy with Griffin.  As Giles enters the ring, "Ride the Lightning" by Metallica hits, and Damien Fields enters to a smattering of cheers from the capacity Tokyo crowd.  Fields enters and stares down Giles, whom he defeated to earn his PWA contract one year ago, as "Simon Says" by Drain STH hits.  The fans cheer as upstart newcomer Victor Simon heads to the ring, looking to make an impact.  Simon enters and "Spitfire" by The Prodigy hits, prompting the fans to cheer loudly as Dynamite Dean Nash explodes down to the ring, immediately getting this match started.

Troy:  Alright, here we go.  Four men, elimination style, last man standing is the winner.

Wellington:  And will have earned the privilege -- and it is a privilege -- of having me dismantle them at Rockefeller Center.

Ferrara:  That IS a privilege.

Wellington:  Indeed.

* FATAL FOURWAY MATCH:  DYNAMITE DEAN NASH VS. DAMIEN FIELDS VS. VICTOR SIMON VS. DARRIN GILES *

 REFEREE:  JASON CHURCH

As the match begins, Nash, Fields and Simon all begin triple-teaming Giles to the pleasure of the audience.  Giles has tremendous difficulty emerging from the corner his opponents have left him in, and ends up in a bad way early in the match.  The triple-team doesn't last long, however, as Damien Fields goes for the shock value, attacking his partner Dean Nash and going for a quick cover.  Nash kicks out at two.  Nash then gets up and Fields smiles and shrugs at him.  Nash feigns going back to work on Giles, and when Fields follows, Nash clobbers him and rolls him up for a two-count.  This then escalates into Nash and Fields foregoing their partnership for now and doing battle in the ring.  Simon and Giles go at it on the opposite side of the ring and the fourway match has progressed into two smaller one-on-one bouts.

Ferrara:  Who do you like in this one, Dex?

Wellington:  Me, because all of them are insipid and disgraceful.

Troy:  You really do have no humility, do you?

Wellington:  None needed.

Troy:  Hey, what does that P stand for anyway?

Wellington:  (after a brief hesitation) Princely.

Troy:  Yeah right.

Wellington:  It stands for Progressive, since this title is never going anywhere.

Troy:  How about you tell us what it really stands for?

WellingtonPriviliged.

Troy:  You are full of it.  How about Primadonna?

Wellington:  It stands for Piss off, loser.  I shall say nothing more on the topic.

In the ring, Giles is toying with Simon when suddenly, Simon explodes out of nowhere with a head-and-arm suplex!  Simon covers... one, two, three!

Troy:  Whoa!  Victor Simon just pinned Darrin Giles!

Ferrara:  These fans have come alive!

Wellington:  I'm not impressed.

Simon quickly goes over to Nash and Fields, who now turn their attention to him and commence a double-team.  The former tag team champions back Simon into the corner and pound on him, before both charging at him, looking for a crushing blow.  However, Simon ducks and Nash goes flying over the top rope and Fields snaps back against it!  Simon tries to take advantage of Fields, but Fields is too crafty, reversing a Simon hold into an attempted diamond cutter!  However, Simon reverses it into a small package!  One, two, three!

Troy:  Unbelievable!  Victor Simon has eliminated two!  It's down to Simon vs. Nash!

Nash re-enters the ring and locks up with Simon in the center.  Simon goes on the offensive, but Nash is quick to reverse the momentum.  Nash hits Simon with an array of moves that leave him dazed, before heading to the top rope.  Nash leaps off, looking for a flying axehandle, but Simon catches him and turns him into a furious head-and-arm suplex!  With the fans cheering loudly, Simon climbs to the top and leaps off with his flying elbow smash, connecting with thunderous impact!  Simon covers... one, two, three!

Troy:  Yes!  Simon has done it!  What a show!

Ferrara:  He eliminated all three guys in there!

Troy:  And now Dexter Wellington, he is coming for you Live From
Rockefeller Center on July 24th!

Wellington:  Let him come.  I remain unimpressed.

* WINNER:  VICTOR SIMON *

Wellington drops his headset and stands at the table, staring down Simon as "Simon Says" booms through the arena.  Victor Simon celebrates his victory, before catching sight of the Progressive Champion.  Simon engages him in a staredown that the fans pop for as we take another break.

-- COMMERCIAL BREAK --

Slipknot's "Opium of The People" plays to a huge ovation from the crowd, who cheer raucously as GI Jew appears at the top of the ramp. He walks down to the ring, not using his motorcycle, but planning to use the steel chain that is draped over his neck for some reason. The former Grand Slam and ORA Title winner climbs into the ring and quickly demands a microphone.

Jew: Alright enough. Tonight, there is no big entrance, no bike, just straight up pain and suffering. Army of The Damned, you cost me my title, you jump me from behind week after week. You want it with me, meet me and this chain right here and right now!

GI Jew drops the microphone and wraps the chain around his fist as the house lights suddenly go out! They come back up momentarily, with Reaper, Loki and Bishop Cross all standing in the ring!

Ferrara: How did they do that?!

Troy: No idea, but we're about to see a fight here!

All three men circle the ring and Loki gets the closest, so he gets a chain-wrapped fist to the ribs. That gives Reaper and Bishop Cross the opening they need to tear into GI Jew with vicious punches, kicks and stomps. GI Jew fights hard, but is no match for their assault while on the canvas. The crowd is begging for a stop to the attack, and they get one as Renegade zooms down the ramp and into the ring with a chair in his hands! The Army quickly flees the ring without harm to them as Renegade is irate in the ring. GI Jew gets up irate as well as the shot quickly cuts to commercial.

-- COMMERCIAL BREAK --

We return to the broadcast backstage in Commissioner Kerry Cox's office, where GI Jew and Renegade have just walked in.

Jew: No Kerry! This has to end man!

Cox: I know, but look at them guys. This is a dangerous group. There are only two of you and three of them.

Renegade: Fine, we don't need anyone else. We'll do it alone. All I know is we're gonna kick someone's ass with a partner or without. You just need to make it official.

Cox: And this is what you really want?

Jew: Damn straight!

Cox: Alright, Live From Rockefeller Center, GI Jew and Renegade against the Army of The Damned in a handicapped match. It's on.

Renegade: Perfect.

They turn to leave, but the door swings open and The Army of The Damned floods through, flanked by PWA and arena security! A huge brawl breaks out in the office, nearly turning Cox and his desk over as he screams for its end, to no avail.

Back at ringside, "Real Big" by Mannie Fresh hits the speakers, sending the fans into a frenzy of cheers as Jaguar emerges from the curtain. The former PWA Champion salutes the crowd before raising his arms for his fiery pyro to explode behind him. He climbs into the ring and poses on the turnbuckles as "Trust" by Sevendust brings Briggs out to another big ovation.

Ferrara: This is a big matchup, the winner will face Alpha Omega for the Tag Team Titles Live From Rockefeller Center.

Troy: Jaguar and Briggs beat Solomon and Infernus at Meltdown, but they have to make it two for two in order to get a tag title shot.

Briggs comes to the ring fired up for his opportunity to obtain a title match, but his mood changes as two blue fireworks cannons shoot into the air and Darkseed's "Hear Me" begins. A loud set of jeers paves the way for Walter Gindin to lead Infernus and Solomon to the ring. Both look very focused on leaving Japan with their long-awaited title shot in hand, and Infernus proves it by demanding to start off against Briggs.

* SOLOMON & INFERNUS VS. JAGUAR & BRIGGS *
REFEREE:  JOSE SOARES

The bell sounds and both men circle the ring. Briggs goes in for a lock-up, but Infernus goes behind to take him down with a single leg sweep. Infernus stomps Briggs repeatedly, but the big Canadian shoves him off to the ropes. Infernus returns, but Briggs grabs him by the throat! Gindin protests to Jose Soares, giving Infernus a chance to break free with a kick to the groin! Not wanting to take any more chances, Infernus gives way to Solomon, who enters to massive boos.

Troy: The referee missed the low blow there, and now Briggs is at a big disadvantage.

Ferrara: Everyone is at a disadvantage to Solomon. Just look at the guy.

Solomon gives Briggs a vile kick to the head before unloading on him with several closed right hands to the head. He gets Briggs off the mat and slams him before hitting the ropes and dropping a big legdrop. Solomon covers for one...two...and Briggs kicks out.

Solomon gets Briggs off the mat and drives him back into a corner. He delivers an open-palm chop to the chest before whipping him to the other corner. Solomon tries to follow him in, but Briggs meets him in a head-on collision with a flying shoulder block that sends both mammoth men down!

Ferrara: Ouch! I felt that one over here!

Both men know they need tags and Infernus gets the first, but Jaguar gets the second to a huge pop! Jaguar meets Infernus in the middle of the ring with three right hands before knocking him down with a fourth. Infernus gets up and he is taken down with a jumping side kick.

Jaguar is on a roll until Solomon comes up and drives a forearm right into the back of his head, but The Alaskan Monster pays for it when Briggs runs up and clotheslines him backwards over the top rope! Solomon amazingly lands on his feet and grabs Briggs by the legs before pulling him out under the bottom rope. In no time, both men are brawling up the ramp with nobody wanting to break it up!

Troy: Briggs and Solomon are going at it again!

Ferrara: Just let em go!

Troy: Nobody is touching that one Paul.

Infernus tries to take advantage of Solomon's cheap shot by kicking Jaguar in the gut and setting him up for The Ganso Bomb. He lifts him up, but Jaguar fights out of it and lands on his feet before lifting Infernus up and spiking him down with The Carrjack! Jaguar makes a cover and hooks the inside leg as Soares counts 1----2----3!

Troy: Yes! Jaguar and Briggs have done it again!

Ferrara: They're still unbeaten Troy! We could see new tag champs soon!

Troy: Alpha Omega better watch out!

* WINNERS VIA PINFALL:  JAGUAR & BRIGGS *

Solomon and Briggs are broken up as "Real Big" takes over again, but neither man is paying attention to the music. Solomon seethes with anger and Briggs grins as they are separated and we head to a break.
