TUESDAY, JULY 5, 2005 * WESTPAC STADIUM * WELLINGTON, NEW ZEALAND

Tool's "Parabola" explodes over the speakers, bringing groans from the capacity crowd as Justin Schenck and Hollywood Mike Griffin walk out to the top of the stage. Griffin is decked out in a clean navy pinstriped suit and sunglasses, but points all attention to his PWA Championship belt, which rests on his shoulder as he points into the air, sending his pyro up behind them. The two climb into the ring and Schenck grabs a mic to hand it to the champion, who speaks over the boos.

Griffin: You guys hate to love me, I know. But I'm not the one to be upset with here. I did what I had to do, wrestled another five-star match and still stand before you as your World Heavyweight Champion! (Crowd boos) As far as Jason Calysto goes, he's already been beaten twice and I'm done with him. Actually, looking around at the so-called top level of this company, who is left? We have vanquished everyone that has opposed us thus far, and we have done it with relative ease. I'm beginning to run out of things to prove around here.

Griffin is cut off as Saliva's "Superstar II" explodes over the speakers and Superstar Scott Hosemann arrives to a big ovation from the crowd. He climbs into the ring and grabs a mic, and Schenck stands as far away as possible as Hosemann begins to speak.

Hosemann: Justin, I should crack your damn skull right here and now, but that’s not why I'm out here. Mike Griffin, I heard what you had to say, and its real easy to stand up here and take credit for something you don't deserve. You don't deserve to be called the leader of your group. It was me that spent those long hours in the ring, getting Darrin Giles, Greg Price and Kris Anthony to championship levels. I was the one training them, not you. It was me that took a chance on Justin Schenck to be my manager when he had done nothing of the sort before, not you. All you did was come in and soak up all the credit. The same way you have been doing since you won that title, which you do not deserve to hold.

Griffin: You have some nerve Hosemann. You come out here and run down the good name of Hollywood? You stand here to take your credit for making The Legacy good? This team went nowhere with you around and it was because of you. A washed-up has-been like yourself has no business holding back the youngest and most successful stars in this industry. You tried to hold onto greatness too long Scott, and now greatness has passed you by.

Hosemann: You think so huh? Well after hearing what you said about there being nobody left to face, how about you give me a shot at the title and I'll show you that I can still be the man around here.

Griffin: Still? You never were the man Scott. CAW was a long time ago, this is the big leagues now, and I'm the big dog around here. Your request...is denied.

The crowd boos until KISS' "War Machine" plays over the speakers and Commissioner Kerry Cox walks out with a microphone.

Cox: You know what? This looks strangely familiar. Just over a year ago, it was me that was hearing these same things from critics Scott. I wonder how it feels for you to be on the receiving end this time. However, you do have a point. When my career winded down, I wanted to take my shot at Mike Griffin to see if i could still do it around here, and I came up short, but I proved a lot to the world and to myself that night. Scotty, I don't know how you feel about your career at this point, but I know what you're capable of in that ring and I think you deserve the same chance I had to showcase what you've got. So since The Legacy won't grant you a title shot, I will. The date will be July 24 and the place will be in New York City at Rockefeller Center, and Mike Griffin, you will defend the PWA Title there against Scott Hosemann or you will be stripped of it here and now!

Griffin: What the hell Kerry?!

Cox: And that’s not all buddy. You're clean in your suit, but you better find some gear because you're going to compete tonight. That's right, in tonight's main event, you can team with your buddy Jonathan Brett to face Scott Hosemann and The Miracle Mike Troha! Tell them how good you are, not everyone else.

"War Machine" hits again and Cox leaves to a very favorable reaction, giving Hosemann what he wanted and giving Griffin a major buzzkill as we take another break.

-- COMMERCIAL BREAK --

Back from break, "Alone" by Buckcherry hits the speakers and Reaper, one third of the Army of the Damned, makes his way to the ring, alone.  Reaper settles in the ring, awaiting his opposition as the fans shower him with boos.  Moments later, "Piggy Bank" by 50 Cent hits and the fans explode into cheers as Renegade emerges.  Renegade wastes no time, immediately sprinting to the ring to get right at Reaper, prompting the bell to sound.

Troy:  Alright, here we go!  Renegade is looking for some revenge on the Army after what happened last week on Frequency.

Ferrara:  He was able to get Kerry Cox to sign him to a one-on-one match against Reaper here, and he is looking to take full advantage of this opportunity.

* RENEGADE VS. REAPER *

REFEREE:  JOSE SOARES

Renegade starts the match off on fire, pounding away on Reaper with furious lefts and rights before taking him down with a violent spinning karate kick.  Reaper gets right back to his feet, but Renegade charges at him and clotheslines him over the top and out!  The fans cheer and Renegade is pumped, but Reaper heads back into the ring, ducks under a clothesline, and flattens Renegade with a body thrust.  Reaper lifts Renegade off the mat and drops him face-first onto the top turnbuckle.  When Renegade stumbles around, Reaper floors him with a devastating bicycle kick.

Troy:  Reaper is really taking it to Renegade here.

Ferrara:  Yeah.  Renegade is doing all he can here, but Reaper may just be too powerful for him.

After destroying Renegade with a huge powerbomb, Reaper looks for the kill.  He scales the top rope looking for the Last Breath flipping legdrop, but when he dives off with it, Renegade moves out of the way!  Reaper crashes onto the mat, dazed, and Renegade capitalizes, shaking off the cobwebs and nailing Reaper with the kick of death!  The massive Reaper goes down but immediately starts stirring.  At this point, Renegade signals for the F-U!

Troy:  He's going for it!

Ferrara:  This could be it right here!

Before Renegade has a chance to attempt the F-U on Reaper, Bishop Cross and Loki stampede down the aisle and attack Renegade, ending the match via disqualification.

* WINNER VIA DISQUALIFICATION:  RENEGADE *

From there, a massive three-on-one assault on Renegade ensues, and the fans shower the Army of the Damned with raucous jeers.  However, before the beating can get severe, GI Jew storms down the aisle, carrying a baseball bat!  The fans cheer intensely as Jew hits the ring and clears it, nailing Reaper in the spine with the bat, and they all flee.  The Army of the Damned regroups on the outside, staring down the bat-wielding Jew, who helps Renegade to his feet as we take another break.

Troy:  It looks like there are at least two men who aren't afraid to stand up and fight these guys!

Ferrara:  It's true, and both of them will find out the painful way why that's a very bad decision.

-- COMMERCIAL BREAK --

As we return, we are taken to PWA owner Bryan Conroy's office, where Darrin Giles, Justin Schenck, Damien Fields, Dean Nash, newcomer Victor Simon, Dexter P. Wellington and Winston are standing around, chatting amongst themselves.  Finally, Bryan Conroy enters the room.

Schenck:  What's going on?  Why are we all here?

Wellington:  Yeah, this is ridiculous.  We're in a city here that is named after me, a city full of people that worship me, and I'm stuck in this office.  I demand to know why.

Conroy:  Everybody calm down.  I called you all in here to let you know what's going on with the Progressive Championship as it relates to our special Live at Rockefeller Center pay-per-view on July 24.  Dex, you will be defending the championship against the winner of a four-man elimination bout that will take place next week on Frequency, pitting Darrin Giles against Dean Nash against Damien Fields against Victor Simon.  Good luck to all of you.  That is all.

Conroy sits at his desk and resumes work as everyone in the room begins to exit, looking satisfied.

The camera shifts to another portion of the backstage area, namely the office of PWA commissioner Kerry Cox.  He is in the office with Dee Licious.

Dee:  Please Kerry.  Bryan said no, but we have this Live at Rockefeller Center pay-per-view coming up, and I really want the chance to prove that I can beat Keiko Ishida for the Women's Championship.

Just then, Walter Gindin enters the room.

Gindin:  I thought I saw you enter the room, you skank.  What do you think you're doing here?

Dee:  I'm about to get a shot at Keiko.

Gindin:  Like hell you are.  Do you know who you're dealing with here?  First of all, I gave Keiko the night off tonight because, frankly, she deserved it.  She's gearing up for the response she's going to get in Japan next week.  But, back to business, unless you were to win a number one contenders match, I have full authority to decide who Keiko defends against in one-on-one matches.  So sorry toots, hit the bricks, no shot for you.

Cox:  Not so fast, Walter.  You just gave me an idea.

Gindin:  Come again?

Cox:  You do have full authority over singles defenses... unless someone wins a number one contenders match.  So, right here next week on Frequency, live in Keiko's homeland of Japan, it will be Dee Licious vs. Liz Rush, with the winner meeting Keiko Ishida for the Women's Championship Live at Rockefeller Center on July 24th.

Gindin:  What?!  You can't do that!

Cox:  Just did.

Dee:  Walter, you can tell Keiko that I'm coming for her.  I'll get through Liz Rush next week, and on July 24th, Keiko is mine.

Gindin:  Yeah whatever.  Just make sure you keep looking over your shoulder.  That's all I have to say.

Gindin then exits, and Dee remains in the room, pleased and excited at the opportunity she has been presented with, as we take a break.

-- COMMERCIAL BREAK --

"Parabola" plays again through the building, and it gets the same ovation it got the first time as Justin Schenck leads Jonathan Brett and Hollywood Mike Griffin down to the ring. The PWA Champion looks angry to be competing tonight and his body language shows it as he quickly removes his robe ands shades before handing his title over to Schenck.

'Arcarsenal" by At The Drive-In hits next, and the gold pyro streams down for The Miracle Mike Troha to make his entrance. The fans cheer loudly for Troha as he nears the ring, but a surprisingly wild ovation comes as "Superstar II" begins and Superstar Scott Hosemann comes back out.

Troy: Listen to this ovation for The Superstar!

Ferrara: These people have gotten behind Hosemann a ton lately, I think it’s rejuvenated him.

Troy:  We’ve got to take our final commercial break here.  Our main event is up next, we’ll be right back!

-- COMMERCIAL BREAK --

* SUPERSTAR SCOTT HOSEMANN & THE MIRACLE MIKE TROHA VS. PWA WORLD CHAMPION HOLLYWOOD MIKE GRIFFIN & JONATHAN BRETT *

REFEREE:  MATT HANSEN

We return from break with Troha clamping down a side headlock on the PWA Champion. Griffin counters with a single leg takedown and puts on a headlock of his own, but Troha gets up to his feet and takes him down with a back suplex.

Troha gets Griffin up and pushes him back into a corner. He stings him with a reverse knife-edge chop before trying an Irish whip, but Griffin reverses and Troha hits the turnbuckles. He stumbles out of the corner and the champion acts quickly by flipping him with an overhead belly-to-belly suplex! Griffin makes a cover and gets a two count before bringing Brett in to a chorus of boos.

The Legacy's powerhouse enters the ring and quickly begins to club Troha over the back before whipping him to the ropes and jamming a boot into his face. Brett makes a cover, but also gets a count of two. Brett demands that Hansen count quicker, but he takes his eyes off of Troha. The Miracle gets back up and catches Brett with a Hotshot across the top rope before grabbing him by the arms and planting him face-first with The Suburban Slam! Troha covers for one...two...and Brett kicks out!

Troha shakes off Hosemann's request for a tag, looking to hit Divine Intervention on Brett. The big man gets to his feet and Troha scoops him up, but Brett slips out of it and nails him with a powerful chokeslam!

Ferrara: Big time move by Brett! It could be over here!

Troy: He's finished a lot of guys off with that chokeslam, it just might be over.

Brett drapes an arm over Troha for one....two....but The Miracle gets a shoulder up! Brett looks on in disbelief, but follows Schenck's orders to stay on Troha. He lifts him up for a suplex, but Troha wiggles out of his grip and instead of attacking, he makes a tag to Hosemann!

The Superstar runs into the ring and takes Brett down with a clothesline. He then grabs the top rope and snaps it towards him, sending Griffin somersaulting into the ring! Hosemann then immediately goes after the champion, pounding him with furious lefts and rights as Schenck flips out on the outside. Brett tries to stop him, but Troha trips him up and also begins to unleash his anger with fists. Before Hansen can restore order, The Legacy tries their own remedy, in the form of Darrin Giles and Alpha Omega running down to ringside.

Troy: Like clockwork, The Legacy is back in full again the minute Griffin is in trouble!

Ferrara: But they have some company too!

Before The Legacy can make any impact, Paul Epton and John Wolfe run out to a large ovation and begin to mix it up with them on the outside. Giles sneaks off and pulls Griffin out of the ring as Hansen gets Troha out. Brett taunts Troha as he exits, but he turns around to find a boot to the gut and a lightning fast Superstar Stunner! Hosemann makes a cover for one...two...three!

Troy: Again, in the blink of an eye, The Superstar Stunner has taken down another member of The Legacy!

Ferrara: Could that be Mike Griffin next?

Troy: We'll find out in Rockefeller Center, but Hosemann is on a tremendous roll right now and I'm not sure The Legacy can stop him!

"Superstar II" replays and Troha joins Hosemann in the ring to celebrate their victory. The Legacy regroups as they backpedal up the ramp, but both Griffin and Schenck carry a look of extreme concern on their faces as Frequency fades to black.

* WINNERS VIA PINFALL:  SUPERSTAR SCOTT HOSEMANN & THE MIRACLE MIKE TROHA *
