TUESDAY, JUNE 20, 2006 * COREL CENTRE * OTTAWA, ONTARIO, CANADA

A video package airs, highlighting events that took place last week, with Kerry Cox going to New York City to try to unsuccessfully try to convince Vulture to return to the PWA and challenge Jackie Baccaro, Baccaro and Jason Calysto engaging in a heated brawl following the contract signing for their July 1 PWA Championship bout at Meltdown, and Hollywood Mike Griffin surprisingly coming to the aid of Greg Tantalus, who was being assaulted by The Miracle Mike Troha and Bodycount. From there, “By_Myslf” by Linkin Park hits as the opening credits roll. At their conclusion, a dazzling pyrotechnics display ensues and we are sent to ringside at the Corel Centre in Ottawa, Ontario, Canada, to our commentators Victor Troy and Superstar Scott Hosemann!

Troy: Hello everyone, and welcome to PWA Frequency! I’m Victor Troy, along here with Superstar Scott Hosemann, and we have an explosive show to bring you here tonight!

Hosemann: That we do,
Troy! How about this main event tonight?!

Troy: Folks, we have a treat of a six-man tag team match to bring you in our main event tonight, that will feature some of this company’s heaviest hitters. Last week, Jaguar announced that Romeo and Kerry Cox would be his two lumberjacks for his battle with Bryan Conroy at Meltdown for the world title shot at Everlasting Epic. Over the weekend, Bryan Conroy has named Anthony Failla one of his two lumberjacks, predictably, but said he was saving the unveiling of his second for right here tonight. Now, Conroy is not here tonight, as he is home training in his state-of-the-art training facility, but that second lumberjack will be revealed in six-man tag team action tonight. On one side, we’ve got Jason Calysto, the number one contender to the PWA Championship, teaming with Jaguar’s lumberjacks Romeo and Kerry Cox. They will go up against the PWA Champion Jackie Baccaro, and his partners, Anthony Failla, and Bryan Conroy’s second lumberjack.

Hosemann: There’s no telling who it could be,
Troy, but whoever it is, I hope he gets his ass stomped in tonight for aligning with Conroy!

Troy: Also tonight, folks, James Biamonte defends the International Championship against arch nemesis Mike Grieco, Lauren Tantalus squares off with Jade, and much more! But first, let’s get down to ringside with our opening contest!

The sounds of “Hear Me” by Darkseed explode onto the speakers, and the fans begin cheering raucously as the Alaskan Monster Solomon makes his way to the ring! As Solomon stands in the ring, “Determined” by Mudvayne blasts onto the speakers, and the fans continue cheering loudly as Speed Demon heads down the aisle! Demon joins Solomon in the ring, and the pair awaits the arrival of their opposition. Moments later, “Edge of the Earth” by 30 Seconds To Mars hits the speakers, and Army of the Damned member Loki arrives to a round of hearty boos.

Troy: Folks, this past weekend, Loki quietly accepted the challenge Speed Demon made two weeks ago on Frequency for a career-ending barbed wire steel cage match July 1 at Meltdown, not wanting to give him the satisfaction of a public acceptance. But, the match is on, and it WILL take place in
Atlanta!

Hosemann: And it should be nothing short of sheer chaos.

Loki pauses at the foot of the ramp, and “Trust” by Sevendust then blares onto the speakers. Briggs emerges to a raucous amount of boos, being accompanied by his manager Walter Gindin. Briggs enters, never taking his eyes off Solomon in the ring. Finally, Briggs and Loki meet, and the two enter the ring together, prompting a brawl to break out in the center of the ring!

Troy: Alright, here we go!

Hosemann: This one should be a war!

* SOLOMON & SPEED DEMON VS. BRIGGS & LOKI *
Referee: Jason Church
Solomon and Briggs go at each other hard, and Loki and Demon do the same, and the
Ottawa crowd begins cheering thunderously at the display! Solomon and Briggs quickly take their battle to the outside of the ring, immediately brawling right out of the ring, and picking it up on the arena floor. Meanwhile, Speed Demon and Loki refuse to come to a clean break in the break, preventing referee Jason Church from signaling for the bell to officially get this contest underway! Church tries hard to separate them, but he ends up taking an inadvertent elbow shot to the face, flooring him! Church struggles to get to his feet, but when he does, he realizes Briggs is strangling Solomon with camera cord on the outside, while Demon and Loki are struggling over a chair inside! When he sees this, Church has no choice but to signal for the bell and waive off this match entirely!

Troy: This is complete chaos!

Hosemann: Oh c’mon ref, let them go!

Troy: Let them go?! Scott, this is insanity!

Hosemann: Exactly!

Despite the feverish ringing of the bell, Demon and Loki continue struggling over the chair, and it is Demon that gets it! Demon looks to nail Loki with the chair, but Bishop Cross runs to the ring, and attacks Demon from behind! Cross and Loki double team Demon inside the ring, while Briggs pounds on Solomon outside of it, and numerous officials dart from the back to separate everyone. The officials clearly have their work cut out for them as we take our first commercial break.
* WINNERS: NO CONTEST *

-- COMMERCIAL BREAK --

Back from break, “Foxy Foxy” by Rob Zombie hits the speakers, and the fans boo loudly as the PWA commissioner Helen Summers makes her way to the ring. Summers grabs a microphone and enters the ring as the fans continue their jeering.

Helen: Alright, we have a big show to bring you tonight, headlined by a big main event, but that’s not why I’m out here right now. I’m out here because I have one order of business to address, so I’d like to call someone out here right now. Ladies and gentlemen, I give you the PWA Women’s Champion, Magnifica!

With that, “Cuz I Can” by Pink explodes onto the speakers, and Magnifica makes her way to the ring to a raucous array of jeers. Magnifica enters the ring, and with the fans still booing, Summers begins to speak.

Helen: The reason I brought you out here right now, Magnifica, is because the announcement I am about to make has to do with the Women’s Championship, a title that you proudly and ably wear. Now, as you people might have heard, in 11 days at Meltdown, Magnifica here will be defending the Women’s Championship against Lauren Tantalus, thanks to an old, unused rematch clause. I am sure Magnifica will overcome that small obstacle, but the question becomes what to do with the Women’s Championship situation after Meltdown? That is what I am here to discuss. You see, after defending the title at Meltdown on July 1, the 30-day defense rule would be set to expire on August 1. However, with just 41 days remaining in PWA, it is my executive decision that the title needs to be defended only once more after Meltdown, and that will come August 12 at Everlasting Epic. Now, to address several things. If Magnifica is to lose the title at Meltdown, she will get to exercise her rematch clause three nights later, on July 4 at Frequency. As for Everlasting Epic, a challenger is needed, and of course, the only two logical, realistic choices for opponents are Keiko Ishida and Morgan Day. However, after last week, I think the top choice for the match has been made abundantly clear. I am hereby naming Keiko Ishida the number one contender to the Women’s Championship, and the individual that will challenge for the title at Everlasting Epic.

Moments later, “The Stone Monkey” by Kazu Matsui hits, and the fans give a largely positive reaction to Keiko Ishida, as she quickly and intently makes her way to the ring. Ishida grabs her own microphone and begins speaking.

Keiko: While I am grateful that I would be named number one contender to the Women’s Championship, and the Everlasting Epic challenger, I am afraid I cannot accept this. Not this way.

Helen: What are you talking about? This isn’t your reward, should you choose to accept it. You are the challenger for Everlasting Epic, and you don’t have a choice.

Keiko: An individual always has a choice in life. The reason I cannot accept this title match is because you are using last week’s match as a basis for determining the challenger. While I did win the match, I do not think it’s fair to single out that one bout and declare me more deserving. Morgan and I have had six singles matches which ended in a pinfall, and we have won three battles each. Additionally, Morgan did not know that she was battling me for a shot at the title at Everlasting Epic next week. I think it’s only fair that Morgan and I engage in one final, deciding battle to determine the Everlasting Epic challenger.

Helen: No disrespect Keiko, but I don’t care what you think. This is the way it’s gonna be because I said…

Suddenly, “Dead Promises” by The Rasmus explodes onto the speakers, and the fans erupt in thunderous cheers for Morgan Day! Morgan emerges, microphone in tow, and walks straight down the aisle and into the ring.

Morgan: First of all, thank you Keiko for standing up for me, even though it was completely unnecessary. You know Helen, I get it. I get why you’re doing this. It’s because you, Magnifica, are afraid to face me. You know you are. That’s why you cowered out of the match we were supposed to have at Animosity, and that’s why you have our esteemed commissioner here sheltering you from me. Not that Keiko Ishida is any better, believe me, she is as tough as they come, but you know full well my beef with you is much, MUCH more personal, and if given the chance, I’d bloody rip your little tart head off. However, though I hate to rain on your little parade, when I lost the Women’s Championship, I never received a rematch for that title. And even though there is no obligation to defend the title from administrative restrictions on title reigns, I am contractually obligated to a rematch, and if I don’t receive one, you will see me in court.

Helen: You wouldn’t.

Morgan: I would, and I’d be well within my rights to. But quite honestly, Keiko’s idea intrigues me more. You only want to give one of us a title shot from hereon out? Fine by me. But since we both have mandatory rematch clauses you are choosing to ignore, let us fight it out one last time for the right to move on.

Magnifica: I don’t care what you do, honestly. I’m gonna take Lauren Tantalus’ ass out at Meltdown, and whichever of you I have to face at Everlasting Epic, it won’t be any big deal to embarrass you and take you down.

Magnifica wears a smug look, but Helen wears a look of anger.

Helen: You have some nerve, you know that Morgan? You think you can waltz down here and undermine my authority? Who the hell do you think you are?

Morgan: I’m Morgan Day, bitch. One false move and I’ll show you just who the hell I am.

Helen: You’d better watch your step, ho. I don’t see your cripple boyfriend around here, words like that might get you hurt, and I’m not talking a broken nail.

Morgan: I don’t need my man to fight my battles for me. If you’re feeling froggy, then bloody leap, bitch!

Helen then gets in Morgan’s face as if she is about to do something, but instead puts her hand in her face and walks away. When at a safe distance, Helen continues speaking.

Helen: Whatever. You two want your match? Have your match. But it’s not going to be just any match. It’s going to be a ladder match, July 1 at Meltdown. We’re going to put a contract to wrestle for the Women’s Championship at Everlasting Epic in a briefcase and hang it 15 feet above the ring, and whichever of you two grabs it first will get that title shot. And THAT is final.

Helen then tosses the mic down and exits the ring in a huff. Magnifica then moves in on Keiko and Morgan and taunts them with the championship belt briefly before exiting herself. Morgan and Keiko are left standing side-by-side in the ring, staring intently as Helen and Magnifica as they depart, but still keeping an eye on each other, as we go to commercial.

-- COMMERCIAL BREAK --

Back from break, “Da Repercussions” by 50 Cent hits the speakers, and the fans begin cheering loudly as Mike Grieco makes his way to the ring, to challenge for the International Championship!

Troy: Listen to this crowd for Mike Grieco, a man considered by many to be one of the greatest International Champions of all time!

Hosemann: Well
Troy, he is a two-time champion, and no man has won it three times, and his first reign is champion is among the all-time longest, so it’s hard to dispute that claim.

Grieco steps into the ring and stretches out on the ropes as he awaits the champion. Moments later, “Still Ballin” by 2Pac hits, and the International Champion James Biamonte makes his way to the ring to a deafening chorus of boos. Biamonte, uncharacteristically, is wearing a warm-up jacket in addition to his traditional wrestling attire as he makes his way down. Grieco, however, is waiting patiently in the ring, readying himself for the opportunity he has been waiting for, the chance to both gain revenge on the man who put him on the shelf, and regain the championship he once held so dear. Biamonte enters the ring, and immediately pulls a lead pipe out of his warm-up jacket and cracks Grieco in the skull with it! Grieco’s head is split open and he goes out like a light! The fans are in shock, as is the referee, who cannot disqualify Biamonte, since the match hadn’t officially begun! Biamonte shouts at referee Jose Soares to ring the bell to start the match and, under duress, Soares does so.

* PWA INTERNATIONAL CHAMPIONSHIP: JAMES BIAMONTE © VS. MIKE GRIECO *
Referee: Jose Soares
Wasting little time, Biamonte covers the bloody, unconscious Grieco smugly… one, two, three.

Troy: Oh come on! I don’t believe this!

Hosemann: Biamonte has just outsmarted Grieco,
Troy! It’s as simple as that!

Troy: Maybe so, Scott, but you’ve got to believe there’s going to be hell to pay for this!

The fans boo thunderously as “Still Ballin” replays and Biamonte picks up his belt from the mat, which fell off him as he struck Grieco with the pipe, puts it back around his waist, and exits, wearing a confident, sly grin on his face. At the top of the ramp, Biamonte gestures back to Grieco with a middle finger, and exits to the back. The fans continue to boo raucously as Grieco slowly regains consciousness and we take another commercial break.
* WINNER VIA PINFALL AND STILL INTERNATIONAL CHAMPION: JAMES BIAMONTE *

-- COMMERCIAL BREAK --

As we return from break, we see Liz Rush walking through the backstage area. As she reaches the water cooler, she is stopped by Dexter P. Wellington, who looks at her alluringly.

Wellington: Hey Liz.

Liz: What the hell do you want?

Wellington: Oh nothing. Only to be in the presence of your sheer beauty. You astound me, Liz. You’re everything I’d want in a woman.

Liz: Dex, stop it. You know I’m with Paul.

Wellington: And why? Does he treat you that special? When was the last time that man truly made you feel special?

Liz: I’m not having this conversation.

Wellington: Just know, Liz, if you want to be with a real man, you know where to find me.

Suddenly, Paul Dawkins rushes over and tackles Wellington to the ground! Dawkins pummels Wellington viciously, and Wellington fights back, trying to land in a few shots of his own, while Liz screams for help! A bevy of officials rushes the area to separate the two and the camera shot fades, shifting to another portion of the backstage area, where we see Commissioner Helen Summers standing in her office with Renegade.

Helen: So you want a shot at the International Championship, huh?

Renegade: That’s right. I’ve been the champion before, and if given the opportunity, I’ll be the International Champion again.

Helen: You know what? I’m in a gracious mood tonight. I’ll give you a one-on-one match tonight with Showtime Damon Savage and, if you win it, next week, right here on Frequency, you’ll get your shot at the title. How does that sound?

Renegade: Sounds great to me.

Renegade exits the room, nearly bumping into John Wolfe on his way out, who enters the room next.

Helen: What do YOU want now?

Wolfe: This issue between myself and Soaring
Phoenix must be settled. I want another shot at the Progressive Championship so that I can…

Helen: Listen, I was just moments ago gracious to Renegade in honoring his request for an International title shot, I can’t do it again moments later. How would that seem? I agree with you though, your issue with Soaring Phoenix must be settled, if only because people are probably sick of seeing it without seeing you two advance it in any way. You claim you’re feuding, but there’s still too much respect there, it’s sickening. You either settle your differences, or you break into an all-out feud, and then I’ll give you another shot. So, I’ve got just the thing to bring your true feelings out. Next week, in that ring, it’s going to be Soaring
Phoenix and John Wolfe, face to face… on the Swan Song with Henry Swanson. Now get out of here.

Wolfe stands in confusion and Summers smugly turns her back.

Hosemann: What?! The Swan Song?! We haven’t seen that show in years!

Troy: Henry Swanson and the Swan Song return next week, and we return right after this!

-- COMMERCIAL BREAK --

As we return, “Zerospace” by Kidneythieves hits the speakers, and Jade makes her way to the ring to a reaction largely filled with boos. Jade enters the ring and stretches out on the ropes as she awaits her opposition.

Troy: Last week, we saw James Biamonte turn on Jade, and we have learned since then that Biamonte and Jade have split both personally and professionally. From the sound of things, these fans still don’t like Jade much, but she is here tonight, looking to refocus on her wrestling career, starting with a woman she traded the women’s championship back and forth with a couple years ago, Lauren Tantalus.

Hosemann: This should be a good one.

Moments later, “Free” by VAST blasts onto the speakers, and the fans begin cheering loudly as Lauren Tantalus makes her way to the ring! Lauren looks focused as she makes her way down the aisle, and she enters the ring, standing face to face with Jade as the bell sounds to get this one underway.

Troy: Now we get to take a good look at Lauren Tantalus, 11 days before she challenges Magnifica for the Women’s Championship.

Hosemann: Indeed we do,
Troy. This should be a good test.

* LAUREN TANTALUS VS. JADE *
Referee: Dan Martin
Lauren and Jade lock up in the center of the ring, and Jade establishes the initial advantage, shoving Lauren to the mat hard. Jade doesn’t move in on her as Lauren gets back to her feet, and the two continue. They lock up again, and this time Lauren takes the advantage, tying Jade in a headlock. Jade shoves her off, into the ropes, and Lauren rebounds, downing Jade with a hard shoulder block. Jade springs up, and Lauren bounces off the ropes, looking for another shoulder block. Jade hits the mat, and Lauren leaps over her, bouncing off the opposite ropes. Jade springs up again, and Lauren attempts a leapfrog, but Jade catches her, and downs her hard with a furious spinebuster!

Troy: What a move by Jade!

Hosemann: She’s gotta ride this momentum now!

Jade goes for a cover, but Lauren kicks out at a short two. Lauren finds her way back to a vertical base, and Jade moves in, staggering her with repeated forearms. Jade whips Lauren against the ropes, but as she rebounds, Lauren comes off with a flying elbow, connecting hard with Jade’s jaw and staggering her hard! Jade is stunned, and Lauren grabs her, downing her hard with a snap suplex! Lauren then lifts Jade up and whips her into the ropes, coming off with a hard splash! Jade stumbles forward, and Lauren hits the opposite ropes, looking to down her hard, but Jade has it scouted, and floors Lauren with a hard dropkick to the chest! With Lauren reeling on the mat, Jade signals for the Side Effect!

Troy: This is it! If she hits this, it’s over!

Hosemann: What a blow this would be to Lauren’s bid for the women’s title!

Jade lifts Lauren up, and attempts to apply her finisher, but Lauren slips out and rolls Jade up in a small package! One, two, three!

Troy: Yes! That’s it! Lauren has just pinned Jade!

Hosemann: What a victory,
Troy!

The fans cheer loudly as “Free” replays over the speakers, and Lauren celebrates her victory. Suddenly, she is floored from behind by Magnifica, who cracks her in the back of the skull with the women’s championship belt!

Troy: Dammit, no! Somebody get her out of here!

Magnifica begins stomping away on her Meltdown opponent furiously, and the fans boo raucously. Jade stands by and watches Magnifica pound Lauren, until Jade has seen enough. Jade shoves Magnifica off Lauren as she staggers to her feet, and Jade and Magnifica have a heated stand-off!

Troy: Look at this! There is no love lost here!

Then, suddenly, as Lauren gets up, Jade turns around and viciously blasts Lauren down with the Side Effect! The fans boo thunderously, and Jade exits without even looking back!

Troy: What the hell was that for?!

Hosemann: I think we have a sore loser,
Troy!

Magnifica cracks a grin as Lauren lies motionless on the mat, and Jade walks to the back without turning back. Magnifica then grabs the Women’s Championship belt, stands over Lauren, and raises it high. The fans boo loudly as “Cuz I Can” by Pink thumps onto the speakers, and we head to commercial.
* WINNER VIA PINFALL: LAUREN TANTALUS *
