COLOGNE ARENA

COLOGNE, GERMANY

SEGMENT 1:  INTRODUCTION:

A video package airs, highlighting events that took place last week on Frequency, with Hollywood Mike Griffin helping to screw Greg Tantalus out of the first round of the PWA title shot tournament, giving Scythe a tainted and unwanted victory to advance to the semifinals.  The opening credits then roll as Linkin Park's "By_Myslf" hits and we are sent inside the Cologne Arena in Cologne, Germany, where an amazing fireworks display ensues and we are sent to our commentators, Victor Troy and Paul Ferrara.

Troy: Ladies and gentlemen, welcome to PWA Frequency! I’m Victor Troy, along here with Paul Ferrara, and tonight, we invade Germany for what should be a tremendous two-hour broadcast!

Ferrara:  Should it ever!  Tonight Troy, we’re going to find out who will be challenging Hollywood Mike Griffin for the PWA Championship on June 11 at Symphony of Destruction!

Troy:  We sure will!  Folks, tonight, Romeo goes one-on-one with Scythe, and Jaguar -- who receives a bye into the finals due to Jason Calysto and Solomon eliminating each other in their match next week -- will take on the winner in the main event to decide who advances.

Ferrara:  Not to mention the fact that we have a rematch for the International Championship tonight, as Jackie Baccaro defends against former tag team partner Paul Dawkins!

Troy:  We’ve got a lot of great stuff lined up tonight, folks, so let’s get right to the ring and get this action underway!

SEGMENT 2:  MATCH 1:  TOURNAMENT MATCH – SEMIFINALS:  ROMEO VS. SCYTHE:
Referee:  Tom Stevens

The commentary pauses once three D-Bombs whistle down and explode on impact with the ramp. "I Want It" by B.G. hits next, bringing a huge amount of boos from the crowd as Romeo begins to make his entrance. Da Playboi marches down the ramp and climbs into the ring, not paying any attention to negative reaction he recieves.

Ferrara: I spoke with Romeo earlier tonight, and he is totally focused on advancing into the finals and winning this tournament tonight. He feels he shouldn't been in this tournament because of the way he lost the triple threat match without being actually defeated as the champion.

Troy:  That might be a valid point, but Romeo knew the rules of a triple threat match before going into it. And since he had no rematch clause for it, he's gotta get the job done here to advance. But he's doing it against a man who has never beaten him in a singles match. Romeo did get a big win over Scythe in defense of the title at Requiem, but he has to do it again here and now.

Romeo hands his overcoat to the ringside attendant as Linkin Park's "With You" begins to boom through the building. The entrance clouds with thick smoke before Scythe makes his entrance to a raucous ovation from the massive capacity crowd. As they cheer, Scythe removes his ring entrance gear and headband, and slides into the ring to immediately trade blows with Romeo!

Troy: It’s on quick here!

Scythe quickly reels Romeo with a flurry of right hands before whipping him to the ropes and hitting a dropkick that sends him through the ropes to the arena floor! Romeo gets to his feet as Scythe hits the ropes for a plancha, but the Modern-Day Samurai fakes it as Romeo darts away quickly to take a breather.

The bell sounds and Scythe gets the crowd behind him heavily as Romeo waits until Tom Stevens' count of eight to climb back into the ring. They circle around and meet in the center, but Romeo quickly scores a kick to the gut. He nails Scythe with three hard forearms to the back before hitting the ropes and sending him down with a big clothesline.

Romeo gets him up and rushes him backwards into a corner. He follows up with three shoulder thrusts to the gut before whipping Scythe to the opposite end. He charges at Scythe and meets him with a huge clothesline that crushes him in the corner! Scythe falls to the canvas and Romeo cover him for one...two...and a kickout.

Troy: Romeo almost had him there, he's gotta keep the pressure mounted.

Ferrara: As bad as he wants the title, he will.

Romeo gets Scythe off the canvas and delivers the first of three hard chops to the chest before giving an Irish whip. He attempts a clothesline, but Scythe ducks under it and scores with a cross body block! He holds it into a cover for one...two...and Romeo powers out of it!

Both men get to their feet and charge one another, but Romeo turns Scythe inside out with a tremendous lariat! the crowd boos as Scythe hits the canvas, but they boo even more once Romeo adjusts his black bandana and calls for his Dre Day Powerbomb.

Troy: He's looking for Dre Day, this is the move that beat Scythe at Requiem!

Ferrara: Looks like its about to do it again!

Romeo gets Scythe into position for the move and lifts him, but Scythe floats over the top and lands on his feet! Romeo turns around quickly and knees him in the gut before whipping him hard into the corner. Romeo charges at him, but Scythe sidesteps him. Romeo crashes into the turnbuckles chest-first and Scythe surprises him with a quick backslide as Stevens counts one....two....three!

Troy: Scythe wins!

Ferrara: How the hell did he do that?!

Troy: I have no idea, but Scythe has shocked Romeo and finally beaten him to advance to the finals against Jaguar!

Ferrara: That's gonna be a great match, but Romeo is just irate!

"With You" replays as Scythe quickly slides out of the ring and backpedals up the ramp. Stevens follows him out to raise his arm in victory as Romeo completely flips out in the ring. Da Playboi loses his cool and kicks the ropes out of anger, among other things as the shot fades for our first commercial break.

WINNER VIA PINFALL AT 12:04:  SCYTHE

 -- COMMERCIAL BREAK #1 --

 SEGMENT 3:  BACKSTAGE:
Back from commercial, we are taken backstage, where Romeo is on a rampage, destroying his locker room.  Suddenly, there is a knock at his door.  Romeo doesn’t answer, consumed in his own rage, so the door opens.  ORA president Helen Summers is standing in the doorway.  Romeo turns and sees her, and is confused.

Summers:  Hey Romeo.  Have a seat, won’t you?

Romeo takes a seat on the couch and Ms. Summers slams the door shut, leaving the cameraman stranded on the outside.

SEGMENT 4:  RINGSIDE:

"Opium of the People" by Slipknot blasts onto the speakers and the ORA Champion GI Jew makes his way to the ring on his Chopper, met by a thunderous ovation from the capacity crowd in Germany

Ferrara: What is GI Jew doing out here? I don't have him on my program.

Troy: I'd imagine he has something to say. And I'm certainly not gonna tell him he's not supposed to be here.

Ferrara: Yeah, me either.

Jew parks his bike at ringside, grabs a microphone, and steps into the ring, the ORA belt over his shoulder.

Jew: You know, ever since I won this ORA championship, I've had to deal with whiny bitches and bastards making threats, telling me to forfeit the title and ridiculous crap like that. Of course, I'm talking about Bryan Conroy, Helen Summers, Annetta, and that bitch Anthony Failla. They told me Failla had a rematch clause that he'd exercise whenever he saw fit, and that they'd forcibly take this belt back when they were ready. Well, last week, I teamed with Jaguar against Romeo and Anthony Failla. What happened? We hit 3D on the sumbitch, and pinned Failla
1-2-3. So Conroy, Summers, Annetta, Failla... you don't scare me. I'll be ready for you whenever you want to come after this title, because it's not going anywhere.

Seconds later, Jew is cut off by the sounds of "Shoot Outs" by Jadakiss and Styles P. over the speakers. The fans boo loudly as Anthony Failla begins to make his way to the ring, flanked by PWA Lt. Commissioner F. Anthony Annetta and PWA owner Bryan Conroy. The three enter the ring and stand directly across from Jew. Conroy has a microphone.

Conroy: I bet you think you're real slick, don't you Jew? I think you need to remember who you are, and who we are. You are just a lowly competitor in this great company; together, Helen Summers, FAA, and I run this company. That is especially true tonight, because this company's commissioner, Kerry Cox, is traveling to various other parts of
Germany to promote Everlasting Epic IV, one part of which will emanate from right here in the Cologne Arena on August 20. So, if you think you're going to bully us tonight, on a night where there is NO ONE here with any authority matching ours, you are sadly mistaken. Now, as far as Failla's mandatory rematch that will be exercised whenever we see fit, well... we see fit. You want to say that you're not afraid of us, that you'll be ready whenever we come after the title? Prove it. Prove it to us on June 11 at Symphony of Destruction, and prove it in a Last... Man... Standing match. Maybe you can get lucky and pin Anthony Failla, but you CANNOT beat him until he can longer stand.

Troy: I can't believe what we're hearing!

Ferrara: A Last Man Standing match at Symphony of Destruction?! That's huge!

At this news, GI Jew simply smirks.

Jew: Last Man Standing match, huh? I suppose that means that I'll be facing not only Failla, but also you and all the rest of the goons, huh Conroy? Well, since I'm sure I don't have a choice, I accept. But believe me, I will be talking to Kerry Cox about this. Failla, you need this protection because you know you can't beat me man to man. But whatever punk, I'll find a way to win anyway. Simply put punk, I am better than you. The cream will rise to the top, and at Symphony of Destruction, I... will cream... YOU.

Jew tosses the mic to the mat and begins a verbal joust with the opposition in the ring as "Opium of the People" hits. The fans buzz with excitement at the announcement as we take a commercial break.

SEGMENT 5:  MATCH 2:  PAUL EPTON & JOHN WOLFE VS. THE LOST SOULS VS. JON DULBERG & VLADIMIR VYDRINA:
Referee:  Jason Church
A Violent Reaction" by American Head Charge falls upon the ears of those in attendance, and it is responded to with a wave of jeers. The Lost Souls make their appearance on top of the ramp, but the crowd appears to want none of it. They continue to boo as Reaper and Speed Demon walk down the ramp and into the ring, before "Not Falling" by Mudvayne hits, and the jeering only increases in volume for Jon Dulberg and Vladimir Vydrina. They head to the ring with their entourage consisting of “Not That” Rodney King and Natasha Vydrina. The team steps into the ring, while King and Vydrina await on the outside.

Ferrara: This match includes three tag teams, but it could explode at any minute with just these two, Troy.

Troy: No kidding. This is a rematch from Animosity, of the Triple Threat Tag Team match, that pitted the then-champions Paul Epton and John Wolfe, against The Lost Souls and Jon Dulberg and Vladimir Vydrina.

Ferrara: And in that match up, Epton and Wolfe somehow managed to retain the titles.

Troy: Right. Now these three teams are facing off to be the number one contender for a Tag Team title shot at the Symphony of Destruction.

Just then, “Stockholm Syndrome” by Muse blasts over the speakers, and the cheers fall into place when Paul Epton and John Wolfe make their arrival. Once they step into the ring though, an all out war erupts! Wolfe, Vydrina, and Reaper battle it out with each other, while Epton tries to hold his own against Demon and Dulberg!

Ferrara: C’mon ref, get some order in there!

Troy: Could you do much better with six guys in the ring?!

Vydrina battles Reaper into the ropes, but Wolfe is right behind them with a clothesline that sends all three men over the top and spilling to the outside! The referee finally allows the bell to sound, signaling the official start of the match. Epton manages to drop Dulberg with a running knee, but Demon takes down Epton with a huge forearm! Continuing to pour on the damage, Demon lifts up Epton, only to bring him back down hard with a body slam. Demon then goes over to Dulberg and brings him back to his feet, but Dulberg breaks free from his grasp and boost him hard in the stomach, following it up with a DDT!

Troy: Dulberg has just taken control of this match!

Ferrara: That’s inside the ring! Outside is a whole other story!

The camera switches views to gain a better view of the outside of the ring, where Wolfe, Reaper, and Vydrina continue to wear each other down. Vydrina manages to take down Reaper with clubbing blows to the back, before turning his attention to Wolfe, who holds his own against the “Angel of Death.” Back in the ring, Dulberg stomps on Reapers back, but Epton is already up on his feet! The Human Highlight goes to attack Epton, but the former Tag Champ scouts it and blocks the punch, then blasts him in the face with a punch of his own! He follows up with several more consecutive punches, before whipping him into the ropes! Dulberg hits the cables, but he latches onto them. Before Epton can follow it up, Demon is back on his feet as well. They trade punches with each other briefly, until Dulberg becomes opportunistic and explodes from the side in an attempt to double clothesline them! Demon sees it coming though, and uses Dulberg’s charging momentum to lift him up and straddle him across the top rope!

Troy: That doesn’t look fun.

Ferrara: Even you would feel that one!

Troy: Shut up, Paul!

Demon rushes back to his corner in an attempt to get a tag, but he realizes that his partner is engaged in a war of his own! Before he can return to the action, Epton races up behind Demon and compresses him with a german suplex! Epton drags Demon closer to the corner before climbing to the top rope!

Troy: He’s going for it! Epton’s going to finish this one off!

Epton stands tall on the top before leaping off the turnbuckle, landing on Demon with his awe-inspiring Shooting Star Press! Epton goes for the pin! One! Two! Three!

Troy: They’ve done it! Paul Epton and John Wolfe have picked up the win once again!

Ferrara: I always knew that anyone with the name “Paul” would turn out great!

Troy: ...That aside, Epton and Wolfe will challenge The Naturals for the Tag Team belts!

“Stockholm Syndrome” plays once again as Epton and Wolfe escape up the ramp. The two remaining teams bicker with each other as the referee desperately keeps them apart, and the crowd cheers in the background for this match’s outcome.

WINNERS VIA PINFALL AT 8:01:  PAUL EPTON & JOHN WOLFE

 SEGMENT 6:  BACKSTAGE:
Back from commercial, we are taken to a dressing room containing Vulture and Lauren Tantalus.

Lauren: Alright then, see you next week.

Vulture: Yup. Have fun.

Lauren: I will. Thanks. See you later.

Lauren Tantalus then exits the room, just as International Champion Jackie Baccaro enters. Baccaro and Lauren exchange hostile stares before continuing in their separate directions. Baccaro then approaches Vulture, who is sitting on the couch in the dressing room, thinking strategy, and yanks him to his feet by his arm.

Vulture: Yo! What?! What the hell?!

Baccaro: What the hell? I'll tell you what the hell. This crap with Lauren. I'm sick of it. Bro, do you even remember what she did to you last year? Huh? Do you? Let me tell you something, I do, and I'm not gonna stand here and watch you develop a soft spot for this bitch again.

Vulture: What the hell are you talking about, I don't have a...

Baccaro: Don't even play this game with me. I see what's happening. Believe me, I know what you're feeling. But you have to smarten up here, and I'm not gonna allow you to do anything else.

Vulture: (indignant) Oh you're not gonna allow me? Let me remind you who's doing who a favor here.

Baccaro: Go ahead. Yeah, I appreciate you coming back here to manage me, I really do. But it's me doing you the favor here with this Lauren situation. Don't let this girl break you down. She's gonna want more and more freedom, you watch. You bought her contract so that you could make her life miserable. Well, make it miserable, or get rid of her. And not for nothing, you're focusing way too much on her, and not enough on me, the guy you're supposed to be managing. So please, let's get down to business, talk strategy for this title match, and please, when this European tour is over -- cuz I know you already promised this for the tour -- no more special treatment for this bitch. We are not her friends. She needs to understand that. What she did to you last summer was inexcusable. She has no business being back in your life in any capacity, other than to inflict pain on. Don't give her what she wants.

Vulture is silent momentarily, before slowly nodding his head, increasing in speed eventually.

Vulture: You're right. You're right. I'm getting sidetracked. Can't do that. We'll ride out the European tour, and then it's right back to what we originally intended for her. And as for tonight, you're right, this situation deserves my full attention. So let's get down to it. Let's make sure that bastard Dawkins won't even smell the title tonight.

Baccaro: Now you're talkin.

-- COMMERCIAL BREAK #4 --

SEGMENT 7:  MATCH 3:  DAMIEN FIELDS VS. CHRIS NICHOLSON:
Referee:  Dan Martin
The crowd watches new-comer to the PWA, Chris Nicholson, who stands in the ring, feeling prepared to meet his challenge. Just then, Metallica’s “Ride the Lightning” is plays in the background and Damien Fields arrives to a decent ovation from the crowd. He walks down the ramp at a quick pace before stepping inside of the ring. The two men stand across from each other, and as the bell sounds, they step into the middle of the ring. Fields nods to Nicholson, before shaking his hand.

Troy: Now that’s a good display of sportsmanship.

Ferrara: Yeah yeah, just get to the wrestling already.

Fields and Nicholson circle the ring briefly before locking up hard in the center. Nicholson gets Fields into a head lock, but the former Tag Team Champion elbows Nicholson three times in the stomach before shoving him hard into the ropes. Nicholson bounces back, and Fields rolls him up! One! Two! And the house lights go down!

Troy: What happened?

Ferrara: Maybe someone here forgot to pay the bill?

Without warning, “Phantom of the Opera overture” by Andrew Lloyd Webber eerily plays over the speakers, and the crowd is initially confused. The house lights slowly come back, only to find Bishop Cross standing over a fallen Chris Nicholson!

Troy: Bishop Cross?! He’s back!

Ferrara: No one has seen or heard a word of him ever since Revival! What’s going on?!

Cross carries an emotionless face, and Fields hesitantly goes after him. However, Cross easily scouts it and demolishes him with the Crossfire! The bell sounds several times, but it matters not to the ominous Cross, who locks in the Grand Finale on Nicholson, causing him to writhe in pain. After spending several moments in the move, Cross releases him and grabs a microphone.

Cross: The time is upon us once again... I offer these sacrifices, in hopes that it will no longer delay the inevitable, as we draw ever closer to the coming storm... Accept this gesture, and aid me as I raise my army...

As he drops the microphone, the house lights die down once again, but only for a brief moment this time. As they come up, no sign of Bishop Cross can be found. The audience is confused, as are the announcers, as we head to a commercial.

WINNER AT 1:21:  NO CONTEST
