1ST MARINER ARENA

BALTIMORE, MARYLAND

SEGMENT 1:  INTRODUCTION:

A video package airs, highlighting events that took place last week, with PWA Champion Romeo accepting a challenge from Scythe to face him for the title April 9 at Requiem, and a main event which saw Infernus turn on his partner Jason Calysto against Solomon and ORA Champion Anthony Failla, resulting in a three-on-one beatdown, before Solomon unexpectedly hit Failla with the Deep Freeze.   The opening credits then roll as Linkin Park's "By_Myslf" hits and we are sent inside the Savvis Center in St. Louis, Missouri, where an amazing fireworks display ensues and we are sent to our commentators, Victor Troy and Paul Ferrara.

Troy:  Ladies and gentlemen, welcome to PWA Frequency!  I’m Victor Troy, along here with Paul Ferrara, and we are live in here in Baltimore!  Paul, what a week last week, with quite a few bizarre turns of events.

Ferrara:  Sure was,
Troy.  Last week, as we saw at the top of the hour, Jason Calysto teamed with Infernus, who had convinced everyone that he had turned over a new leaf, to battle ORA Champion Anthony Failla and Solomon.  At the end of the night, the only two left standing were Solomon and Infernus.

Troy:  What’s more is that Jason Calysto suffered some injuries in that match and will miss a few weeks of action because of the attack.  We’re hearing that Calysto will be out for two to three weeks, but you can bet that when he’s ready to return to action, those guys will be at the top of his hit list.

Ferrara:  I would expect nothing less.  Also tonight, folks, the newcomers from the United Kingdom, Paul Epton and John Wolfe, will challenge the Lost Souls for the Tag Team Championship in a rematch from two weeks ago that should be…

SEGMENT 2:  RINGSIDE:
The commentators are suddenly cut off by “Shoot Outs” by Jadakiss and Styles P blasting on the speakers, followed by the ORA World Heavyweight Champion Anthony Failla making his way to the ring, accompanied by PWA owner Bryan Conroy and ORA president Helen Summers.  An angry Failla grabs a microphone and heads into the ring with his two counterparts, preparing to speak.

Failla:  I’m sure you all saw what happened last week, and as you can imagine, I’m not happy.  I bet you all were wondering why Solomon did that to me, why Solomon hit me with a Deep Freeze while we were partners last week, but I think I have an idea.  Let me take you back two weeks, to Las Vegas, when we were meeting at The Rio, the same night we took out Jason Calysto and pretended to take our their boy Infernus to set up Calysto.  Well, we were meeting there because Gindin was trying to set up a super match for Requiem, with me putting the ORA title on the line against Solomon.  I told them I’d think it over that night, and decided, before last week’s show, to turn them down.  I’m the world champion, I don’t need to defend the title against Solomon.  If he could prove to me that he was the number one contender to this title, then maybe I’d consider giving him a shot.  Well, last week, him hitting me with the Deep Freeze was his way of proving it to me.  So, with that said, Solomon, get your ass here, I’ve got something to say to you.

Moments later, “Hear Me” by Darkseed blares onto the speakers and Solomon makes his way to the ring alongside his agent Walter Gindin.  The two enter the ring and Gindin hands a microphone to his once-defeated client.

Solomon:  I’m here.  What do you have to say?

Failla:  You sent a message to me last week, and I got it.  You want your title match?  I’ve got Mr. Conroy and Ms. Summers right here, ready to authorize it.  It’ll be literally the biggest championship match this company has ever seen, Anthony Failla against Solomon for the world title.

Solomon:  Funny how a little Deep Freeze changes everything.

Failla:  Oh all that Deep Freeze did was light a fire.  You’ve been beaten once before, but this time, you’re gonna be beaten within an inch of your miserable life.  At Requiem, we’ll be paying our last respects to the monster known as Solomon.

Solomon:  Pretty confident, huh?  Don’t worry, Failla.  I’ll have no problem beating that confidence out of you April 9 at Requiem.

The two men then stare each other down as Conroy takes a microphone.

Conroy:  So it’s official.  On April 9 at Requiem, the ORA presents, for the World Heavyweight Championship, Anthony Failla versus Solomon!

The staredown continues as “Sad But True” hits and we take a commercial break.

SEGMENT 3:  MATCH 1:  MIKE GRIECO VS. DAMIEN FIELDS:
Referee:  Jason Church

Back from commercial, Metallica’s “Ride the Lightning” hits and former tag team champion Damien Fields makes his way to the ring to a sizeable ovation.  Fields enters the ring and prepares himself as “Da Repercussions” by 50 Cent hits and Mike Grieco starts down the aisle to an exorbitant amount of boos.  Grieco, seemingly unaffected by the massively negative reaction, enters the ring and immediately pounces on Fields as the bell sounds.

Troy:  Grieco has come out really aggressive here tonight.

Ferrara:   Hmm, Grieco aggressive?  That’s a shocker.  Well, at least it’s against a male this time.

Grieco pounds away on Fields with clubbing forearms, pounding him into the corner.  As Grieco finally relents, Fields stumbles out of the corner, only to be downed with a hard belly-to-belly suplex.  Grieco puts the boots to Fields, not allowing the exciting young superstar to make it back to his feet.  Finally, when Fields does get up, Grieco shoves him back into the corner and stings him with thunderous, furious chops to the chest.  Grieco continues the assault, but suddenly, James Biamonte comes through the crowd, darts into the ring, and spears Grieco to the mat!

Troy:  It’s James Biamonte!  James Biamonte is here again!

Ferrara:  What kind of security do we have in this place?!

Biamonte and Grieco brawl viciously on the mat as a slew of PWA officials stampedes toward the ring, trying to restore order.  Security steps in between the two, separating them, as we take a commercial break.

WINNER VIA DISQUALIFICATION AT 1:58:  MIKE GRIECO

SEGMENT 4:  RINGSIDE:
Back from commercial, “Zerospace” by Kidneythieves hits the speakers and Jade makes her way to the ring to a sizeable ovation from the crowd.  She grabs a microphone and heads into the ring, ready to speak.

Jade:  Alright, last week, I made a challenge to Keiko Ishida to put the Women’s Championship on the line against me at Requiem, and tonight, I want an answer.  I didn’t come out here to waste any time, so let’s get right to it.  Keiko Ishida, come on out and give me an answer.

Moments later, “The Stone Monkey” by Kazu Matsui hits and the dominant Women’s Champion Keiko Ishida makes her way to the ring, escorted by her agent, the crafty Walter Gindin, who stops at the top of the ramp with a microphone.

Gindin:  So Jade, how does it feel to be on the outside looking in?  You used to have my services, but you proved yourself to be so remarkably inadequate that I had no choice but to shift gears to a competitor who could actually get things done in the ring.  You want an answer to your challenge?  That answer is simply no, Keiko Ishida will not accept your challenge, because you are not a challenge.  However, she will take the opportunity to beat you within an inch of your life one more time, and this time, she just might finish the job.  See you in
Pittsburgh, Jade.

With that, “The Stone Monkey” hits the speakers again, and Ishida and Jade stare each other down intently as we take another break.

SEGMENT 5:  MATCH 2:  GREG TANTALUS VS. DEXTER P. WELLINGTON:
Referee:  Billy Vargas

Returning from break, “Marriage of Figaro” hits the speakers and Dexter P. Wellington makes his way to the ring, accompanied by Winston, for quite possibly the biggest match of his young career.  Still possessing the arrogance he always does, Wellington steps into the ring and prepares himself for action.  Moments later, “Heaven’s a Lie” by Lacuna Coil hits and the fans cheer wildly for Greg Tantalus, who makes his way to the ring with a great deal of intensity, immediately going after Wellington as he steps inside the ring, prompting the bell to sound and this match to get underway.

Troy:  Alright, here we go!  Tantalus goes right after him!

Ferrara:  You know Troy, Wellington is undefeated here in the PWA, but that all might change tonight.

Tantalus promptly spears
Wellington to the mat and begins unloading on him with a flurry of lefts and rights, energizing the crowd.  Wellington is able to, ultimately, pull himself back to his feet, but Tantalus doesn’t relent with his assault, going right after the blue blood, backing him into a corner and stinging him with repeated chops to the chest.  Wellington staggers forward after the display, and Tantalus responds by drilling Wellington with a big kneelift that stands him up.  Dazed, Wellington walks right into a Tantalus clothesline, which prompts the fans to cheer wildly.

Troy:  So far, this match has been all Greg Tantalus!

Ferrara:  Amazing!

Tantalus tries to move in on Wellington, but Wellington is ready for him, using a drop toehold and smashing Tantalus’ face against the top turnbuckle.  From there, Wellington cradles him, one, two, and Tantalus is narrowly able to escape.  Wellington looks to press the advantage, nailing him with several sledges to the back and spine area, making it difficult for Tantalus to reach his feet.  Wellington then grabs Tantalus and sends him shoulder-first into the corner, trying to separate his shoulder.  Wellington then grabs Tantalus and bashes his head into the top rope, hitting him with a belly to back suplex on the rebound.  Wellington covers… one, two, and Tantalus again kicks out.

Bashing Tantalus with repeated stomps, keeping him grounded,
Wellington signals to the crowd that it is about time that he end the match.  Winston approves on the outside of the ring.  Wellington lets Tantalus reach his vertical base, and when he does, Dex slaps on the Million Dollar Dream!

Ferrara:  Troy, that might be it!  Wellington has the Million Dollar Dream locked in!

Troy:  If Tantalus doesn’t get to the ropes soon, this match could very well be history!

Tantalus fights hard in the move and finds there to be no escape.  However, with the referee checking to see if Tantalus is ready to tap, the Smooth One nails Wellington with a swift low blow that Jose Soares does not catch to the approval of the crowd!  As Wellington staggers to his feet, Tantalus signals for the Big O, and hits it, swiftly and authoritatively!  Tantalus goes for the cover… but Hollywood Mike Griffin and Jonathan Brett charge down the ramp and begin attacking Tantalus, prompting a disqualification!

Troy:  This isn’t right!  Get these guys outta here!

Ferrara:  They’re sending Tantalus another message for Requiem!

Brett continues stomping away on Tantalus as Griffin exits the ring and re-emerges with a steel chair.  Then, with Brett holding him, Griffin cracks him in the skull with the chair, splitting him open.  Finally, officials storm the ring to stop the carnage.  Griffin then raises the chair high as “Parabola” hits, the fans shower him with jeers, and we go to commercial.

WINNER VIA DISQUALIFICATION AT 7:48:  GREG TANTALUS

SEGMENT 6:  JUMBOTRON:

"Everybody Knows That You’re Insane" by Queens of the Stone Age hits the speakers and we see a graphic appear on the screen that reads "PWA Requiem Report."  From there, the shot takes us to a backstage set and PWA reporter Ron O'Brien, who is standing in front of a backdrop featuring the Requiem logo.

O'Brien:  Hello ladies and gentlemen, my name is Ron O'Brien and this is the Requiem report.  The Progressive Wrestling
Alliance will return to pay-per-view Saturday night, April 9, when we invade the Mellon Arena in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania to bring you Requiem.  Much of the card has been announced, so let's get right to it!

For the PWA World Heavyweight Championship, Romeo will defend the gold against former friend Scythe!

In a match for the ORA-recognized World Heavyweight Title, Anthony Failla will defend against Solomon!

Jackie Baccaro squares off against former partner Paul Dawkins with Dawkins’ International Championship on the line!

With the Women’s Championship up for grabs, Jade will challenge the undefeated Keiko Ishida!

And in a special grudge match,
Hollywood Mike Griffin meets Greg Tantalus, who has never pinned him in a singles match!

All this and more coming your way Saturday, April 9 from
Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania!  It's Requiem, exclusively on pay-per-view!  That's all for this week, folks.  For the Requiem report, I'm Ron O'Brien, saying see you next week!

SEGMENT 7:  MATCH 2:  NON-TITLE MATCH:  PROGRESSIVE CHAMPION RENEGADE VS. JACKIE BACCARO:
Referee:  Jose Soares

Lee Palmer climbs into the ring and the crowd listens up as he begins his announcement.

Palmer: The following non-title match is scheduled for one fall! Introducing first, being accompanied to the ring by the PWA International Champion, Paul Dawkins, from Willingboro, New Jersey, weighing 223 pounds, he is the PWA Progressive Champion, Renegade!

"Piggy Bank" by 50 Cent begins to play, bringing a wave of cheers from the crowd as Renegade walks through the entrance. He walks down the ramp and plays to the crowd before rolling into the ring and posing on the turnbuckles with his title belt high in the air. He hands the championship to referee Dan Martin as Biggie Small's "Things Done Changed" takes over.

Palmer: And his opponent, being accompanied to the ring by Vulture and Lauren Tantalus, from Los Angeles, California, weighing 265 pounds, Jackieeeee Baaaaccaroooooo!

Boos fill the air as Vulture walks out with Tantalus, followed by Baccaro. Vulture grins cockily underneath his Kangol hat and behind his sunglasses, and Baccaro carries a similar look as he poses in front of his streaming gold pyro atop the stage. Lauren carries a look of complete disgust, but the fireworks continue as Baccaro walks down to the ring, where Renegade paces inside.

Troy: Vulture had a lot of negative things to say about Renegade last week, and Jackie Baccaro never lacks confidence, but I think they might be underestimating Renegade. He's been on a tremendous roll lately, including winning The Progressive Championship.

Ferrara: They aren't underestimating him at all. Jackie Baccaro realizes that he is just a cut above the pack and it didn't take Vulture to make him realize it. That is why he separated from Dawkins awhile back, and I'm sure he's looking to send a message to his Requiem opponent right here.

Baccaro climbs into the ring and poses on the turnbuckles before climbing down and waiting for the bell. They circle the ring for a bit and lock up in the center. Renegade holds his own, but is ultimately forced backwards into a corner by Baccaro. Church asks for a clean break, and Baccaro gives him one, after slapping Renegade in the face. The crowd "oohs" upon contact, but it sets Renegade off as he spears Baccaro down to the mat!

Renegade pounds Baccaro with rights and lefts until he is forced off. Baccaro gets to his feet, but is dropped once Renegade scores with a roundhouse kick to the chest. Renegade lifts Baccaro up and Irish whips him to the ropes. He tries a leapfrog, but Baccaro sees it coming and waits for Renagde to land before throwing him with a tremendous belly-to-belly suplex! Baccaro covers for one...two...and Renegade kicks out!

Baccaro gets Renegade off the canvas and slings him into a corner. He charges, but Renegade hits him with both boots to the face. Baccaro staggers backwards and is sent down with a spinning heel kick from the champion! Renegade covers now, but gets the same two count.

Renegade exits the ring to go up to the top rope and nails Baccaro with a double axe handle to the cranium once he rises. Baccaro is covered, but again kicks out at the count of two. Renegade then signals to the crowd, looking for the Kick of Death.

Troy: He's going for The Kick of Death here!

Ferrara: That kick to the head can put anybody down for a three count!

Renegade measures Baccaro for The Kick, but Baccaro ducks under it. The momentum spins Renegade around and Baccaro shoves him into a corner from his knees. Renegade hits the turnbuckles chest-first as Baccaro hits the ropes. He tries for his forearm shot to the face, but Renegade ducks under it and lays him out with a superkick!

Baccaro rolls out of the ring to the floor, just as Vulture climbs up on the ring apron. Renegade goes to knock him off, but Vulture quickly hops down once he sees Dawkins charging at him. Dawkins chases Vulture around the ringside area, until he is blindsided by Baccaro!

Vulture stops and laughs hysterically at Dawkins, but stops once Renegade rips his Kangol off and grabs him by the hair!

Ferrara: Stop that! You know the man has serious neck problems!

Troy: Take it to him Renegade!

Renegade pulls Vulture up on the apron, but he stops once he is clubbed from behind by Baccaro and promptly drilled with a Baccaro Bomb! Baccaro smiles widely as he looks for a cover, but the smile is quickly vanished once Slipknot's "Opium of The People" blasts through the speakers! Within seconds, GI Jew races down to the ring on his motorcycle and the First Mariner Arena explodes into cheers!

Troy: GI Jew! GI Jew is back!

Ferrara: He's not in this match!

Troy: He doesn't care either!

Baccaro is frozen as GI Jew hops off the bike and climbs into the ring. He goes after GI Jew a right hand, but it’s blocked as Jew comes back with three of his own, shoots him into the ropes and runs right through him with a devastating Gore!

Troy: He just ran through Jackie Baccaro like bad taco meat!

Ferrara: And now he's going after Vulture!

Jew hops from the ring and Vulture takes off like he's Maurice Greene, darting through the crowd with reckless abandon. Jew goes right after him, also weaving his way through the crowd as we cut to a commercial break.

WINNER VIA DISQUALIFICATION AT 10:32:  JACKIE BACCARO
