Reigning |
1 This was a tournament final to crown inaugural tag team
champions
2 This was a fatal fourway
elimination match that also featured the Double D’s and Renegade & Chocolate
Wonder
3 This was a TLC match pitting the Hot Boy$ against GI Jew and
Solomon. Jaguar and GI Jew each grabbed one of the belts, and thus the
referee’s decision was that Jaguar and GI Jew were the new champions
4 Speed Demon was substituting for Jaguar, who was injured
5 This was a triple threat match that also involved The Naturals
6 This title victory occurred at Everlasting Epic V, the final
night of the PWA’s existence. This championship was
retired along with the company on that night, Aug. 12, 2006, but was
resurrected in May of 2010 with the onset of PWA: The Rebirth. All other 2006
champions were restored, but TFU’s title reign was
not restored due to Mike Griffin not being with the company to defend the titles.
7 This was a four corners elimination match for the vacant titles that also featured Dean Nash & Damien Fields and Paul Epton & John Wolfe. The match was won by Jon Dulberg & The Omega, with outside interference from Don Capriglione. However, Shortly after the victory, creative director Justin Schenck ruled that all three Synergy members would be eligible to defend the championship going forward, so long as it was specified which two members of the group would be defending before each defense.
8 Vulture & Calysto were credited with three days towards their title reign for the passage from the conclusion of Season 1 of The Rebirth on Aug. 14, 2010 to the start of Season 2 on March 15, 2011.
9 Texas Justice was credited with four days toward their title reign upon the start of episode 11 of The Rebirth's second season, which aired July 5, 2011, following a six-week hiatus after Symphony of Destruction and carrying the championship through three live events during this interim.
10 The Hot Boy$ were credited with four days toward their title reign upon the start of episode 1 of The Rebirth's third season, which aired April 15, 2012, following the offseason hiatus and carrying the championship through three live events during this interim.
11 The Hollywood Miracle was credited with six days toward their title reign upon the start of episode 10 of The Rebirth's third season, which aired Aug. 14, 2012, following a six-week hiatus after Symphony of Destruction and carrying the championship through three live events during this interim.
