HOUSE SHOWS
September 2002

Sun. Sep. 1, 2002Hartford Civic Center – Hartford, Connecticut
SEGMENT 1:  INTRODUCTION:

The crowd settles in at the Hartford Civic Center in Hartford, Connecticut, where the Progressive Wrestling Alliance is moments away from taking the stage for a house show.  Finally, referee Tom Stevens heads into the ring and ring announcer Lee Palmer grabs a microphone.  Finally, the lights go down and the show begins.

SEGMENT 2:  MATCH 1:  SPANISH FLY VS. RICK DELIGHT:

Spanish Fly comes out to Kool and the Gang's "Jungle Boogie," in the company of his valet Senorita Lolita.  The reaction for him is perhaps more raucous than someone with his win loss record deserves, but the high-energy nature of his entrance insists otherwise.  His opponent, Rick Delight, probably deserves every bit of the negative reaction he receives on his own way to the ring.  Delight completely resents the crowd, and is not remotely regretful of his entrance.  Notorious BIG's big beats fade as he enters the ring.

The bell rings and Fly attempts to overwhelm Delight from the get-go, leaping forth and mounting Delight's shoulders for a hurricanrana, a traditional Fly opening maneuever.  Delight however, surprisingly manages to counter it by stopping him short in mid air, and powerbombing him violently to the mat, into a pinning combination, and the fans gasp as the ref counts one, two...Fly kicks out!  A brief exchange ensues, culminating in Fly attempting the hurricanrana again.  Delight counters the same way, but Fly reverses the powerbomb into a butterfly pinning combination for the one, two, three!

WINNER:  SPANISH FLY VIA PINFALL AT 7:20

SEGMENT 3:  MATCH 2:  THE MACHINE VS. TRAIN:

There is a resounding pop for impressive newcomer Train, who emerges from behind the curtain looking intense, and focused.  He pumps his arm up and down, gesticulating the motion for the pulling of a train's whistle.  It doesn't seem to matter to Train who his opponent is, and the fans respect that, considering that his opponent is the evidently unstoppable Machine, who rampages to the ring.  For the Machine, it is almost unarguable thus far that it really DOESN'T matter who his opponent is.

From the opening bell however, it seems that Train is more than a match for the Machine, as they start off with an extremely lengthy bout of fisticuffs.  Machine's power is earth-shattering but Train's resistance is amazing.  It's like the unstoppable force against the immovable object, until Train finally moves.  Machine looks shocked that Train managed to stay alive for so long, and he actually becomes intimidated into unleashing his maximum power.  Train still manages to hold his own in this case, and Machine hits an emergency Jackhammer for the one, two, three.

WINNER:  THE MACHINE VIA PINFALL AT 8:03

SEGMENT 4:  MATCH 3:  KERRY COX AND DEE LICIOUS VS. GI JEW AND JADE:

To the sounds of "War Machine" by KISS, hardcore icon Kerry Cox and his tag team partner for what is perhaps PWA's first ever mixed tag, Dee Licious, make their entrance.  They both look ready for action, and they look ready to take action together.  Cox starts in the ring, determined to begin the match, as Licious gets on the apron.  Opponents Jew and Jade then arrive to thunderous boos, to the sounds of Jew's theme.  Jew of course, obliges Cox's blatant challenge, stepping into the ring while Jade awaits a tag on the apron.

As soon as the bell rings, Cox and Jew are at each other like bulls released from behind a closed gate.  They immediately floor each other with a double clothesline, and then commence with a dazzling exchange of technical brutality, the better of which Cox gets, prompting Jew to tag in Jade begrudgingly.  Jade and Licious commence with an almost equally brilliant display of technical prowess.  Licious seems to have Jade right where she wants to, as Cox and Jew end up brawling on the outside.  Jade however, manages to make Licious tap to the Jaded queen angelito stretch.

WINNERS:  GI JEW AND JADE VIA SUBMISSION AT 6:40

SEGMENT 5:  MATCH 4:  PWA INTERNATIONAL CHAMPIONSHIP:  JON DULBERG © VS. SPEED DEMON:

"A Violent Reaction" by American Head Charge hits, and the usual reaction meets Speed Demon as he makes his way to the ring.  The reaction is one of initial pop, as the fans know that they are going to see a great match, but it quickly transforms into heat at the sight of Demon himself.  First ever PWA International Champion "The Human Highlight" Jon Dulberg follows him shortly thereafter, to Pantera's walk, and he receives a deafening reaction the likes of which are usually only enjoyed by true mainstay main eventers.

There is an silently acknowledged "here we go again" between the two arch rivals as the bell rings, and they begin to circle ravenously, starving for each other's blood.  Demon begins the match with fervent domination, to the point at which he makes a straight beeline of damage from his oepning blows, all the way to the Demonizer.  He shakes his head and refuses to take the title from Dulberg so easily, making the grave mistake of reviving him with a few insulting slaps, for another round.  Following the next series of exchanges, Dulberg manages to reverse an attempt at the Bloodbath DDT into the Play of the Day, and scores the one, two, three for the retention of his title.

WINNER AND STILL PWA INTERNATIONAL CHAMPION:  JON DULBERG VIA PINFALL AT 20:14

-- 15-MINUTE INTERMISSION --

SEGMENT 6:  MATCH 5:  RYAN KNAKAL VS. “THE FLYING TERRIER” STEVE BEOVICH:

Ryan "The Boss" Knakal makes his entrance, and as usual, it appears as if the fans do not think much of him, refusing to consider him "the boss" of anything.  He comes out to “Rewind” by NasKnakal's opponent, "The Flying Terrier" Steve Beovich arrives at the ring with a much greater degree of fanfare.  There is no doubt that he enjoys the fanfare, but it appears that he is ready to make things all business once the opening bell rings.

The bell rings and Knakal is looking to take an early advantage, but is met with complete and utter failure.  Beovich's technical prowess, his ability to reverse each and every move Knakal attempts to apply on him, completely astounds the crowd, and more importantly, Knakal.  Knakal continues to fight a losing battle, until Beovich makes a fatal rookie error, leaving an opening for Knakal to attempt a brainbuster!  Beovich manages to counter it however, into a brainbuster of his own, before hitting a frog splash off the top rope and covering for the one, two, three!

WINNER:  STEVE BEOVICH VIA PINFALL AT 8:31

SEGMENT 7:  MATCH 6:  SCYTHE VS. TRINITY:

Fans are slightly confused, but not enough to spoil the pop that meets Scythe's new reanimated theme of "With You" by Linkin Park, and subsequently Scythe himself.  The reaction that meets him is paralleled by few and surpassed only by some of the most prestigious main eventers.  His opponent, however, already has main eventer written all over his face.  Trinity is met with a reaction of frightened derision.  He comes out to Dr. Dre and Ice Cube’s "Natural Born Killers," and the theme definitely applies once the bell rings.

The bell rings, and Trinity seems ready to do business at his own rather sluggish pace, but Scythe will have none of it.  Trinity slowly advances, but Scythe is anything but slow.  He slides through Trinity's legs, and attempts a dragon suplex, but Trinity reverses it into a samoan drop, into a pinning combination, which only gets a two count.  He elevates Trinity for another samoan drop, but Scythe escapes and Trinity drops onto his back!  Scythe quickly goes for the Diving Blade, but Trinity moves out of the way, and hits the Almighty Sacrifice for the one two three!

WINNER:  TRINITY AT 5:14

SEGMENT 8:  MATCH 7:  RENEGADE, THE CHOCOLATE WONDER, AND THE HOT BOY$ VS. TFU AND THE DOUBLE D’S:

No reaction thus far, throughout the night, has matched the volume of that which meets the Hot Boy$, as they tear up the ramp to the ring, in the company of their tag team partners in the impending eight man tag, Renegade and The Chocolate Wonder, who contribute nothing to the reaction at all.  Their opponents, who come out to "Blister" by Simon Says, all factor into the deafening positive reaction that meets the dueling teams of TFU and the Double D's.  They storm the ring and immediately a chaotic melee ensues amongst all eight men.

When the dust clears following the melee, The Chocolate Wonder is left in the ring with Greg Tantalus.  Tantalus immediately gets the better of their opening exchange, and Wonder tags in Romeo.  Romeo begins to wear down Tantalus, and he tags in Diabetes Dude.  Dude runs circles around the much smaller Romeo, and Romeo eventually escapes by tagging in Renegade.  Renegade immediately sends the fatigued Dude running to his corner, where he tags in Mike Griffin.
Griffin endangers the entire match in his domination of Renegade, and he tags in Jaguar.  Jaguar gets the better of Griffin, and he tags in DareDevyl.  Jaguar tags in Romeo and they hit the Heatwave double team move for the one, two, three.

WINNERS:  RENEGADE, THE CHOCOLATE WONDER, AND THE HOT BOY$ AT 18:47

SEGMENT 9:  MATCH 8:  MAIN EVENT:  PWA CHAMPIONSHIP:  JASON CALYSTO © VS. SCOTT HOSEMANN:

Groans of preparation sweep over the capacity crowd, as it braces itself for the emotional heft it must endure at the hands of the entrance of top contender to the PWA World Heavyweight Championship.  Superstar Scott Hosemann shows the crowd no mercy in his resentment of their very existence, and his manager Jerry Georgatos appears nothing but solemn.  The fans feel relieved and ecstatic with the entrance of the first ever newly crowned PWA Champion, Jason Calysto.  His arrival makes it seem like everything's going to be alright.

Once the bell rings however, everything does not seem so alright.  Hosemann wants the world title with a thirst that Calysto does not seem at all prepared for.  That combined with Hosemann's thirst revenge for being forever robbed of the chance to be the first ever PWA championship, makes for a dangerous opponent.  Hosemann obliterates Calysto into the corner with a ruthless series of stomps that has the crowd gasping in horror with each stomp.  Hosemann insultingly grabs Calysto by the hair and flings him forward onto the mat.

Calysto lands on his face, and rolls along the canvas.  Hosemann immediately locks on a cover, and Calysto kicks out at one, before crawling towards the opposite corner.  Hosemann attempts to lay in more stomps but Calysto grabs his leg, charges out of the corner, and hits a stunning dragon leg sweep.  The two continue to brawl violently, their hatred for one another too intense to permit for a classy technical wrestling encounter.  It works against Hosemann however, as a missed elbow leads directly into Calysto's Icebreaker, for the crowd-pleasing one, two, three!

WINNER AND STILL PWA CHAMPION:  JASON CALYSTO AT 21:16

THE AFTERMATH:

“The End is the Beginning is the End” blasts over the speakers and Jason Calysto soaks in the positive reaction of the crowd upon his successful title defense.  Calysto entertains the crowd for several minutes after the victory, sending them home thoroughly pleased.

Sun. Sep. 8, 2002MCI CenterWashington, D.C.
SEGMENT 1:  INTRODUCTION:

With much of the crowd already filed into the MCI Center, the fans are treated to a brief pyrotechnic display within the ring. As the final sparks fade away, the fans cheer loudly as referee Tom Stevens steps through the ropes and announcer Lee Palmer welcomes the crowd to the PWA event.

SEGMENT 2:  MATCH 1:  TRINITY VS. KERRY COX:

"War Machine" by Kiss blasts over the speakers as PWA's "Hardcore Icon" makes his way to the ring. The raucous cheers of the fans' turn to those of eerie silence as Dr. Dre and Ice Cube's "Natural Born Killers" sonds, signaling the arrival of Trinity. The match begins with Trinity using several power attacks and slams to wear down the Hardcore Icon. Cox, still noticeably sore after his scaffold match with GI Jew, forges a slight comeback using heavy hitting right hands, but a misplaced bounce off the ropes leads him directly into the Almighty Sacrifice, gaining the impressive win for Trinity.

WINNER VIA PINFALL AT 3:42:  TRINITY

SEGMENT 3:  MATCH 2:  THE DOUBLE D’S VS. JAMES PALADINO AND SPANISH FLY:

The lightweight tandem of James Paladino and Spanish Fly head to the ring in the company of Senorita Lolita, as the crowd collectively grooves to the sounds of Kool and the Gangs "Jungle Boogie". As they warm up in the ring, "Now You're A Man" by DVDA hits and the Double Ds make their way to the squared circle. The smaller duo uses several high flying maneuvers and even Fly's Dirty Sanchez on Diabetes Dude, but a missed Blizzard Kick by Paladino leads to the Blizzard feeling the Booby Tassel, earning DareDevyl and Diabetes Dude the win.

WINNERS VIA PINFALL AT 6:09:  THE DOUBLE D’S

SEGMENT 4:  MATCH 3:  THE MACHINE, STEVE BEOVICH, AND DEE LICIOUS VS. RYAN KNAKAL, RICK DELIGHT, AND JADE:

The crowd prepares for mixed tag team action as Rick Delight, Jade, and Ryan Knakal enter the arena to Biggie Smalls' "Goin' Back to Cali". Being jeered the entire length of his entrance, Delight finds time to rip up a sign in the first row that read "Machine". The lights begin to flicker as Fear Factories' "H-K" plays and the fans erupt for the trio of Dee Licious, "Flying Terrier" Steve Beovich, and the Machine!

Before the opening bell, Licious rushes into the ring and immediately begins to pepper Jade with quick lefts and rights. Obivously taken by surprise, Jade stumbles into her corner and tags in Delight. Delight then chases Dee, who retreats to her corner and tags in Beovich. After an even exchange, Delight tags in Knakal, who is staggered by a quick dropkick from the "Flying Terrier". Beovich climbs to the top rope, but misses a flying cross body block which leads to "The Boss" tagging Delight back in. Rick Delight proceeds to manhandle Beovich, until the newcomer manages to slide into his corner and tag in the Machine. With the fans cheering at a fever pitch, the Machine makes short work of Delight, Jackhammering him for the win.

WINNERS VIA PINFALL AT 7:31:  THE MACHINE, STEVE BEOVICH, AND DEE LICIOUS

SEGMENT 5:  MATCH 4:  CAW/FSW CHAMPIONSHIP:  MIKE GRIFFIN © VS. SPEED DEMON:

The stage is set for the CAW/FSW Championship match, as American Head Charge's "A Violent Reaction" starts and Speed Demon bursts through the curtain and into the ring. Due to the challengers' unmatched entrance speed, the song is stopped before it really started. But the crowd doesn't seem to care once Tool's "Parabola" hits, and they erupt for the arrival of Mike Griffin! The CAW/FSW Champion soaks up the adulation before heading into the ring and giving the belts to the referee, who holds them up high and signals for the bell.

The bell rings, and Speed Demon darts towards
Griffin, flooring him with a double leg takedown. Demon wails away at Griffin, connecting with several punches before "The Impulse" is able to reverse his positioning and continue the slugfest in the mount position. The two combatants roll into the ropes, before getting broken up by the referee. Griffin and Demon go right back at each other, but in a collar-and-elbow lock up this time around. Griffin gains the upper hand and uses his force to land a quick side suplex. Demon gets right back up, and targets Griffin's lower half with a dropkick to the kneecap.

Griffin clutches his knee in agony, and Demon goes right to work on it, stomping the champion's leg before applying a figure-four leglock. Griffin yells in agony, and struggles to get to the ropes. The crowd cheers their champion on, but "The Impulse" fails to get to the ropes. But he does however, escape the hold by desperately rolling onto his stomach, thus reversing the hold into an Indian Death Lock and forcing Speed Demon to break the hold by clutching the ropes. Demon is visably upset that Griffin did not submit, but chooses to take his attack to the air, and scales the turnbuckles to the top rope. A wobbly Griffin returns to his feet, but is clobbered by a flying cross body block once he turns around. Demon rolls the move into a cover, and the ref counts, one, two, and Griffin squirms out!

Undaunted, Demon goes back up to the top rope, but
Griffin manages to shove the referee into the cables, knocking Speed Demon from his perch! Demon falls hard onto the mat, and gets up to find himself in the clutches of Griffin, who is attemping his rolling german suplex combination! Griffin tries to lift Demon, but the youngster wraps his foot around the leg of the champion, preventing the move. Griffin instead finds a different way to hurt the challenger, and he drops Speed Demon face first onto the canvas! Griffin looks for a pinfall, but Demon quickly escapes and rolls to the outside. Griffin reaches over to grab Demon, but the speedster rocks the champion with a Hangman across the top ring rope! Griffin turns away in pain, and Demon attempts to land the Demonizer, but Griffin floats over and locks in the katahajime! Demon struggles for air, but cannot break free and taps out to the hold!

WINNER VIA SUBMISSION AT 15:59 AND STILL CAW/FSW CHAMPION:  MIKE GRIFFIN

-- 15-MINUTE INTERMISSION --

SEGMENT 6:  MATCH 5:  PWA INTERNATIONAL CHAMPIONSHIP:  JON DULBERG © VS. LOKI:

With his PWA International Title about to be on the line, "The Human Highlight" Jon Dulberg confidently strolls to the ring as Pantera's "Walk" plays. The self-proclaimed most exciting PWA superstar eagerly awaits his challenger in the ring, but doesn't need to wait long as "Testify" by Rage Against The Machine starts and Loki enters the arena to his usual negative reaction.

Dulberg, realizing he is at a size disadvantage, immediately jumps all over his opponent, eventually flooring Loki with a running lariat. Loki struggles to regain his composure, and does after scoring a quick thumb to the eye. Loki then goes in a power-based assault by viciously slamming Dulberg to the canvas numerous times. The challenger then tosses Dulberg over the top rope and onto the mat below.

Dulberg struggles to his feet, but is met by a fierce elbow off of the ring apron by Loki. The challenger then picks up Dulberg and drapes him over his left shoulder, seemingly securing the champion in place. But to everyone's amazement, the champion squirms out of place, and shoves Loki into the steel ringpost! The challenger then rolls back into the ring, looking to stall a subsequent Dulberg attack, but the titlist has gained a second wind, and takes it to Loki with stiff left and right fists. After nailing an impactful snap suplex, "The Human Highlight" signals for the Play of The Day!

But before he can lift the tired Loki up for the maneuver, Dulberg is attacked by Trinity, wHo has run in to rescue his cohort. Boos poor into the arena as Loki and Trinity then take turns pummeling the champion as the ring bell rings repeatedly. After Loki connects with his morning star finisher, Dulberg is nearly broken in half by Trinity's Almighty Sacrifice! "Testify" plays once more as the Prophecy members leave the ring, with fans still jeering in disgust.

WINNER VIA DISQUALIFICATION AT 13:25 AND STILL PWA INTERNATIONAL CHAMPION:  JON DULBERG

SEGMENT 7:  MATCH 6:  PWA TAG TEAM CHAMPIONSHIP:  THE HOT BOY$ © VS. RENEGADE AND THE CHOCOLATE WONDER:

Boos begin to choke the air as Foxy Brown's "Candy" begins and the Chocolate Wonder appears, along with his manager Willie. The chocolate lover waits at the entryway, and the negativity grows even stronger as Nelly's "Pimp Juice" starts and the Renegade joins his partner and head towards the ring. They choose to wait on the outside of the ring and discuss their strategy for beating the Hot Boy$, but "We On Fire" cues and the PWA Tag Team Champions emerge through the curtain with a reaction that matches only Michael Jordan's in the "Phone Booth". After a blaze of pyrotechnic fire in the ring, and the four men get ready to square off.

The opening bell rings and Jaguar starts the match off with Renegade. The two lock up, and Renegade uses surprising strength to muscle the veteran to the mat! Renegade poses, and the veteran simply smiles and laughs at the youngster, regaining his composure. They lock up again, and Jaguar baits the rookie into a knee to the gut and pounds away on Renegade's back. Jaguar then lifts Renegade and bodyslams him to the mat with huge impact! Feeling frustrated, Renegade decides to tag in the bigger half of the team, the Chocolate Wonder. Instead of locking up with Jaguar, the big man points towards Romeo, instructing a Hot Boy$ tag. Jaguar complies, and the crowd cheers when the power half of the tag champs steps in.

Romeo and Chocolate Wonder lock up, and Romeo forces the bigger challenger into the corner, where he unloads with vicious knife edge chops to the chest! Romeo turns the Wonder's chest red, and tags his partner back into the fray. Jaguar hits the big man with a huge vertical suplex, and attempts to take his legs from him by applying the STF! Chocolate Wonder manages to reach the ropes, and tags the Renegade back in once he reaches his feet. Renegade charges the tag champion, but is met with a stiff lariat! Jaguar does not make a cover, and instead tags Romeo back in.

Romeo pounds the rookie into the ground, but while Wonder is looking on, he does not see Romeo swing a right hand into his face, knocking him off the apron! With this done, Jaguar springs into action by continuing to work on the fallen Wonder. Romeo tosses Renegade over the top rope just as Willie hits Jaguar with a forearm from behind. Willie, frightened once the angry Jaguar turns around, rolls into the ring to seek refuge. But what he gets is Romeo, who scares Willie some more until Jaguar steps in and corners the manager. Willie tries to dart through Romeo's legs, but the big man shoves Willie into the waiting arms of Jaguar, who executes the Carrjack!

Willie writhes in the ring, and is pulled out via the Chocolate Wonder. Renegade manages to sneak back in the ring, but misses a crescent kick and feels a boot from Romeo. With Renegade doubled over, Romeo nails the Dre Day! He doesn't make a cover however, and tags Jaguar back in. With Renegade sprawled out on the mat, Jaguar ascends to the top rope and hits the Lo Down Frog Splash! The referee counts the pin, one, two, three! The Hot Boy$ retain their gold!

WINNERS VIA PINFALL AT 11:12 AND STILL PWA TAG TEAM CHAMPIONS:  THE HOT BOY$

SEGMENT 8:  MATCH 7:  GREG TANTALUS VS. SUPERSTAR SCOTT HOSEMANN:

John Williams'  "Imperial March" commences in the MCI Center, signaling the arrival of "Superstar" Scott Hosemann. Hosemann makes his way to the ring slowly, stopping to jaw with several fans along the way. "The Superstar", as always, is accompanied by his manager, Jerry Georgatos. Their entrance music is abruptly cut short, and the Washington faithful cheer for the moment. But much of the crowd starts booing again as "Hey You" by Simon Says hits, and Greg Tantalus heads towards the ring. Tantalus seems stunned by the crowd reaction at first, but wears a cool smirk once he hears a few cheers from his loyalists.

Hosemann and Tantalus circle around the ring, and the fans begin to cheer, hoping the two gladiators would tear one another apart. The bell rings, and they tie-up in the center of the ring. Tantalus gains the early advantage, gripping Hosemann in a tight headlock. Hosemann pushes Tantalus towards the ropes, breaking the grip. Tantalus bounces off the ropes, ducks under a Hosemann clothesline attempt, and blasts "The Superstar" with a flying forearm on the way back, elicting a few cheers from the crowd.  Hosemann quickly regains his composure and plants a boot in the gut of Tantalus, doubling him over. "The Superstar" wastes no time after the kick, and sends Tantauls crashing to the mat with a butterfly suplex!

Now with a clear advantage over his opponent, Hosemann decides to combine maneuvers by scoop slamming Tantalus before dropping an elbow across his strenum. With Tantalus writhing in pain on the canvas, Hosemann works on Greg's back and neck by applying a rear chinlock. Feeding of the little crowd approval he has recieved thus far, Tantalus manages to fight out of the hold by twisting his body and slamming Hosemann down with a belly-to-back suplex!

Tantalus responds to his first pro-Greg, or maybe anti-Scott reaction of the night by meeting Hosemann with two straight clotheslines as he tries to get up. Tantalus attempts a third, but Hosemann ducks it and meets Greg with a lightning fast neckbreaker! Scott attempts a cover, and gets one, two, but Tantalus kicks out. Hosemann goes back to work on the back of Tantalus with three strong elbows to the spine. Once Tantalus has fallen to the mat, Hosemann looks for a submission win by locking his opponent in a painful bow and arrow! Referee Tom Stevens asks Tantalus if he wants to quit, but he screams "no" as Hosemann wrenches back and applies more pressure. Tantalus takes about all he can, until he reaches back and punches Hosemann square in the face and breaks his grip!

Tantalus then goes on a rampage, backing Hosemann up with powerful right hands before whipping him to the ropes and meeting the returning "Superstar" with a huge powerslam! Tantalus covers and gets one, two, but Hosemann kicks out at the last second! Tantalus argues with Tom Stevens about the call, but doesn't realize Hosemann has gotten up before he is nailed with a forearm from behind!

The force of the maneuver drives Tantalus into Stevens, knocking both down. With this being seen, Georgatos rushes to the timekeeper and grabs his chair. Georgatos slides the chair into the ring for Hosemann, who picks it up but drops it once he is floored by a Tantalus dropkick! Tantalus slides the chair out of the ring, but doesn't see Hosemann prepare for a running clothesline! Hosemann charges, but Tantalus ducks under and Hosemann bounces off the ropes directly into the Big O! Tantalus struggles to revive Stevens, but stops to punch Georgatos from the ring apron. Tantalus succeeds in reviving the fallen official, but turns around and walks right into the Superstar Stunner! Hosemann covers, and gets one, two, three!

Hosemann quickly rolls out of the ring after the match, but Tantalus gets directly in the face of Stevens for counting the fall. After seemingly cooling off, Tantalus pretends to walk away, but kicks Tom Stevens in the stomach and plants him with a Big O before leaving to even more jeers than before.

WINNER VIA PINFALL AT 17:45:  SUPERSTAR SCOTT HOSEMANN

SEGMENT 9:  MATCH 8:  MAIN EVENT:  PWA CHAMPIONSHIP:  JASON CALYSTO © VS. GI JEW:

Boos begin to flood the air as GI Jew makes his way to the ring and Metallica's "Don't Tread on Me" blares through the speakers. Jew is looking more focused than ever, walking silently with his American Flag draped over his right shoulder. As he warms up in the ring, the crowd then begins to cheer immensely as Jason Calysto enters the ring to the Smashing Pumpkins' "The End Is The Beginning Is The End". GI Jew keeps his eyes locked on the PWA Champion, and attacks "The Iceman" as he steps through the ropes.

The bell rings and Jew uses what brought him to the dance, his hardcore brawling style, to wear down the champion in the early goings of the match. The Challenger is dominating the match, but Calysto is able to quickly stun him with a stiff mafia kick. Calysto covers and gets one, two, but not three as Jew thrusts his left shoulder off of the mat. Calysto uses several suplexes and slams to try to get the better of GI Jew, but the challenger gains the upper hand with use of more powerful punches and kicks.

Jew bounces off the ropes, but is met by a lightning fast drop toehold from the Champion! Calysto lifts Jew off of the mat for what appears to be a piledriver, but Jew gets the clear edge in the match with a well placed, and unnoticed low blow. The pain forces Calysto to seek refuge by leaning against the turnbuckle, while Jew recollects himself and gets off of the canvas.

Sensing a great chance to earn the title, GI Jew rushes towards Calysto, attempting the Gore. However, the champion dodges out of the way at the last moment possible, sending Jew crashing into the turnbuckle with tremendous impact! Clutching his arm and chest, GI Jew staggers right into the waiting arms of Calysto, who delivers an Icebreaker for the hard fought one,. two, three! A defeated GI Jew then rolls out of the ring, as Calysto celebrates his victory with the fans.

Sun. Sep. 15, 2002Richmond Coliseum – Richmond, Virginia
SEGMENT 1:  INTRODUCTION:

The show begins with ring announcer Lee Palmer instructing the crowd of the do's and don'ts in the arena. As he exits, the Richmond crowd is treated to a brief pyrotechnic display. Everyone settles down, and gets ready for the PWA.

SEGMENT 2:  MATCH 1:  THE CHOCOLATE WONDER VS. DIABETES DUDE:

The action kicks off with "Now You're A Man" by DVDA starting, and the Double Ds strolling toward the ring in tandem. Diabetes Dude and Daredevyl are hearing a few more boos than they normally would, but the number one contenders for the PWA tag titles could certainly care less on this night. In a strange twist, the crowd cheers when Foxy Brown's "Candy" plays and the Chocolate Wonder appears. The chocolate lover is not alone however, as he is accompanied by his manager Willie and his tag team partner, The Renegade. Wonder climbs through the ropes and we are ready for singles action.

The Chocoalte Wonder, sporting his new "Cocoa Puff" short afro, swoops in to lock up with Diabetes Dude, but the rookie gets suckered into a quick kick to the gut, and is floored with a hard right hand. Not giving his opponent a chance to breathe, Diabetes Dude drops a stiff elbow on the Wonder and gets a two-count after a pin attempt. Dude then cinches in a low sleeperhold as Wonder slowly begins to fade away. Tom Stevens lifts Wonder's arm twice, and it falls twice, but with the help of a surprising "Chocolate Wonder" chant from the
Richmond crowd, The Chocolate Wonder breaks the hold by reversing it into a belly-to-back suplex!

Dude recollects himself, but Wonder nails him with two right hand punches that leave Dude leaning across the ring ropes. Wonder whips Diabetes Dude to the opposite side and greets him with a huge boot to the face! He covers, but Dude quickly slides away and avoids the count. Wonder then lifts Dude up for a long standing vertical suplex, but loses his grip on the way up! Diabetes Dude lands awkwardly on his feet and immediately clutches his knee. He falls on the mat and screams in agony as Stevens goes to check on him, but at the same time, Daredevyl has snuck in and blasted Wonder with the Fukker Upper! Renegade chases Daredevyl to the back as dude, apparently playing possum, springs upward and covers the big man who powers out at two!

Still dazed, the Chocolate Wonder is downed by a clothesline, but Willie then makes his presence known by jumping on the ring apron. While Stevens goes to get him down, Renegade returns to the ring and hits Dude with crescent kick, thrusting him into the corner! With Dude still dizzy, The Chocolate Wonder rushes forward and nails the Chocolate Splash! With the crowd still cheering, Wonder then provides exactly what Diabetes Dude's doctor did not prescribe, a dose of Sweetness! Wonder then falls atop Diabetes Dude, and gets a slow one...two...three! Chocolate Wonder has won it!

WINNER VIA PINFALL AT 9:12:  THE CHOCOLATE WONDER

SEGMENT 3:  MATCH 2:  SPANISH FLY VS. REAPER:

The fans look on in confusion as Metallica's "Harvester of Sorrow" begins to play and a huge man enters the arena. In total darkness, the man announced as Reaper enters the ring with sickle in hand, completely spooking the crowd the entire way. The crowd collectively whispers in utter amazement, and surely pities the next man to walk through the curtain. Kool and the Gang's "Jungle Boogie" hits, and the Richmond Coliseum lets out a collective deep groan. There are very few cheers for the ultra-popular Spanish Fly and Senorita Lolita on this night, because the fans are still in amazement of Reaper. Fly enters the ring and Reaper stands still for the entire duration of the entrance.

The bell rings and Reaper springs into action, pouncing right on the Fly and nailing him with overhand punches. The referee breaks the mount position, but that does not stop Reaper from whipping fly into the ropes and meeting him with a huge powerslam. Reaper does not go for the cover, and instead lifts up the Spanish Fly for a big gorilla press slam. Fly clutches his back, and the cold Reaper kicks him right in the spine!

Upon returning to his feet, Fly takes a wild swipe at Reaper, who sidesteps it and smirks before locking the cruiserweight in a painful bearhug! Reaper violently shakes the Spanish Fly from side to side, and Senorita Lolita has seen enough at this point. The brave
Latina climbs upon the ring apron, distracting the official. Seeing perhaps his only way to escape, Spanish Fly bites Reaper in the forehead! Reaper immediately breaks the hold, and stalks towards Fly. But the resourceful Spanish Fly has one trick left in him, and takes Reaper South of The Boarder!

As Lolita climbs down of the ring apron, Fly chooses to take his attack airborne, and climbs to the top rope. He doesn't stay balanced for long however, as Reaper bounces off the ropes, forcing Fly to straddle the turnbuckle! With Fly still perched, Reaper turns him upside down, and crashes Fly down to the mat with his tombstone piledriver entitled "Passed Judgment"! The referee counts the academic one, two, three for Reaper, ending the match. But Reaper is not yet done, as he turns his attention to Senorita Lolita! Fearing for her life, Lolita runs to the back while Reaper slowly stalks after her.

Train has his back turned to Delight, which proves to be a mistake as Rick goes right on the attack before the bell.

The bell sounds, and Delight is still working over Train by using clubbing blows to the neck and back. Train stumbles down to the mat, and Delight poses for the crowd to jeer. Delight lifts Train off the mat, but is met with a punch to the gut! Delight grabs his stomach, and Train fights back with a stiff European-style uppercut which floors the veteran! Two of the most feared competitors in the PWA wait patiently in the ring for Jon Dulberg's arrival. Pantera’s "Walk" blares next, and the PWA International Champion steps through the black curtain alone. Dulberg walks halfway to the ring and stops. Dulberg then points towards the curtain and "The Flying Terrier" Steve Beovich enters to a nice pop. Dulberg enters the ring as Loki steps out, and the champion pounces on Trinity before the bell! The bell then sounds and the match is officially underway.

Dulberg realizes that he is the smaller man and underdog in this contest, and uses a sound strategy to disable Trinity. He decides to focus his attack on just one body part, that being the left hand of Trinity. Dulberg knows that Trinity's power based moves are not effective if he cannot grasp his opponent. The champion works over the hand of Trinity by stomping on it after a double leg takedown. Dulberg is using his quickness to his advantage, until he charges toward Trinity and gets a big boot for his troubles!

Trinity is definitely feeling the pain in his hand by this point, but counters that by scoop slamming Dulberg to the mat with just his right arm! Dulberg lands hard, but Trinity does not let up, dropping a right elbow across the champion's sternum. Trinity covers, but only gets a two count. Trinity yanks Dulberg off the canvas by his arm, and delivers a chop to the chest. Dulberg yells and turns away in pain, but Trinity then turns "The Human Highlight" inside out with a huge lariat! Trinity shakes off whatever pain remains in his left hand, and makes a cocky lateral press. Trinity counts along with the referee and points in the air, one...two...and he is rolled into a crucifix pin by Dulberg! Dulberg gets one...two...and Trinity powers out of it!

Loki then climbs on the ring apron, attempting to distract the official. But his efforts are thwarted when Beovich yanks him down! In the ring, Dulberg whips Trinity into the ropes, and on the return, amazing captures the big man in the Tequila Sunrise! Iconz’s "Get F*cked Up" plays over the PA system and the boos pour in for the entrance of "The Boss" Ryan Knakal. The big man decides to go this one alone, as he enters without his tag team partner Rick Delight. Knakal warms up in the ring, bouncing off the ropes. In just a few moments however, "Still D.R.E." cues up and Romeo enters to the largest pop of the night thus far. The PWA Tag Team Champion is still feeling at home back down south, and the fans of Richmond reciprocate their affection.

The ring bell sounds and the two powerhouses lock-up. They are at a stalemate until Knakal forces Romeo back towards the corner. The referee breaks it up, but not before Knakal sneaks in a left hand to the jaw. Romeo touches his mouth, checking for blood. With no bleeding evident, Romeo then goes on a rampage, leveling "The Boss" with his huge right hands. Knakal staggers backwards into the ropes, and the crowd roars as Romeo clothelines "The Boss" over the top rope and onto the arena floor!

Knakal steps back towards the ropes, but pulls Romeo's legs out from under him and slides him towards the ringpost. Ryan Knakal is able to slam Romeo's left leg into the post once, but then "The Playboy" suddenly uses both powerful legs to force Knakal backward into the ring barricade! Romeo then rolls Knakal back into the squared circle, and works on his back with a few stomps and double ax handles. Knakal does get back to his feet, and ducks a Romeo clothesline to hit a big sidewalk slam! Knakal covers and gets one, two, but not three as Romeo kicks out!

SEGMENT 7:  MATCH 6:  DAREDEVYL VS. RENEGADE:

Nonpoint's "Victim" plays over the house speakers, and the Double Ds storm their way towards the ring. Both men are very upset about Diabetes Dude's loss to the Chocolate Wonder earlier in the night and are seeking revenge. It can be assumed that after their first blood match, the fans definitely have a newfound respect for the next men to appear, because Nelly's "Pimp Juice" welcomes the Renegade to a substantial pop. The martial artist enters along with The Chocolate Wonder and Willie, but ring announcer Lee Palmer grabs the house mic and the crowd quiets.

Palmer: PWA Senior Referee Tom Stevens has informed me that due to the collective interference in the match earlier tonight, both the Chocolate Wonder and Diabetes Dude are banned from ringside for this match!

As the crowd disagrees, Wonder, Willie, and Diabetes Dude take their leave from ringside and the bell sounds.

Renegade and DareDevyl lock up in the center of the ring. DareDevyl quickly powers Renegade into the corner ands lays into his chest with 2 knife-edge chops! Stevens breaks it up, and the two combatants tie up once again, this time Renegade forcing DareDevyl into the corner. Renegade breaks the hold, but returns the favor by nailing his opponent with lightning-quick punches and kicks! Devyl staggers out of the corner, and walks into a Renegade double hand chop! Devyl crashes to the mat, and Renegade covers. One, two, and DareDevyl kicks out!

They return to their feet and Renegade runs toward the ring ropes. As he returns however, DareDevyl backs up and few feet and pulls the top rope downward, sending Renegade flying over the top rope! Renegade lands hard on his back, but DareDevyl goes right in on his attack and pounds away at Renegade's spine. Tom Stevens gets his count to 8, and DareDevyl rolls Renegade back into the ring. With Renegade's back damaged goods by now, DareDevyl decides to lock in his version of the half crab, The One Legged Man! Renegade grimaces while in the hold, but he slowly inches towards the ring ropes. With the crowd now solidly behind Renegade, the rookie digs deep and grabs the bottom rope!

DareDevyl breaks the hold, thinking he had won the match. Tom Stevens informs DareDevyl that he hadn't, and the Double D walks right into a desperation savate kick!  Renegade falls atop DareDevyl for a cover, but Devyl powers out at the count of two! Renegade is still hurt and has trouble defending himself as DareDevyl kicks him in the stomach and piledrives him down to the mat! Devyl cockily covers Renegade, and gets a one...two...and Renegade slips out at the last possible second! Now frustrated to the highest point, DareDevyl looks to finish off Renegade, lifting him for the Fukker Upper! But as Devyl hoists Renegade, his legs are pulled out from under him by Willie!?!

DareDevyl falls with with Renegade atop him. Stevens does not see Willie holding down the Double D’s leg, and counts one....two....three! Willie has helped Renegade gain the win! DareDevyl gets up and is irate! He demands an explanation for the decision, but Stevens says he did not see Willie, and his mandate called for Chocolate Wonder to leave ringside, not Willie! DareDevyl kicks the bottom rope, and chases Stevens to the back in a rage!

WINNER VIA PINFALL AT 6:21:  RENEGADE

SEGMENT 8:  MATCH 7:  SCOTT HOSEMANN, GI JEW, AND SPEED DEMON VS. JASON CALYSTO, KERRY COX, AND THE MACHINE:

The brewing tension between these six men is finally ready to erupt once John Williams' "Imperial March" commences and Scott Hosemann makes his way down to the ring. Hosemann is alone due to the injury sustained by his manager, Jerry Georgatos, on Tuesday. The "Superstar" will definitely target Jason Calysto in this one, he is the man who burned Georgatos in the first place. Next up is Speed Demon, who bursts into the ring to the tune of "A Violent Reaction" by American Head Charge. The trio is completed when GI Jew arrives once Metallica's "Don't Tread On Me" hits. They discuss strategy for a few seconds when "War Machine" by Kiss sounds and Kerry Cox enters the arena. Cox jaws from a distance with both Hosemann and Jew when "H-K" by Fear Factory begins and the lights flash, signaling the entrance of The Machine! The fans roar raucously as The Machine and Cox both dart into the ring and attack Hosemann! GI Jew and Speed Demon will have none of it however, and take a 3 on 2 advantage with Jew and Demon pounding away on The Machine, and Hosemann taking it to Cox. Over the rabid "Iceman" chants, The Smashing Pumpkins' "The End Is The Beginning Is The End" cues, and Jason Calysto darts into the ring! The PWA Champion rushes in and tosses Speed Demon over the top rope, while Hosemann is clotheslined out by Cox, and The Machine chucks GI Jew nearly into the first row!

Everyone recollects themselves, and the referee signals for the bell. Speed Demon starts the match off with Calysto. They lock up, and Calysto forces Demon into a side headlock. Demon powers Calysto towards the ropes and breaks the hold, but "The Iceman" rushes back and takes down Speed Demon with a shoulderblock! Demon gets back up, but feels a clothesline this time around and retreats to his corner to tag in Scott Hosemann. Hosemann enters warily, but points toward the opposite corner and tells Calysto to tag in The Machine! "The Iceman" obliges, and The Machine steps in to a huge ovation. But as soon as the big man enters, Hosemann retreats to tag in GI Jew. This move provides the loudest jeers of the night, and GI Jew steps through the ropes.

Jew shows absolutely no fear and ties up with The Machine. Machine uses his unmatched strength and forces Jew down to the mat! They lock up again, and Jew nails The Machine with a knee to the gut, and an elbow to the back of the neck. Jew bounces off the ropes and hits a lariat, but Machine does not budge. Jew hits another, and The Machine staggers this time, but still will not fall. Jew aims for a third, but is met by a boot to the face! Jew goes backwards and tags in Demon, while Kerry Cox is tagged in. Cox hits Demon immediately with right hands, but Demon counters a swing with an arm drag. Speed Demon keeps his grip and executes an armbar on the "Hardcore Icon". Demon maintains the hold, and tags in Hosemann. The "Superstar" climbs to the top rope and crashes down upon Cox's arm! Hosemann then goes on a full-fledged attack on the right arm of Cox, twisting and smashing it against the ropes and turnbuckles.

Jew is tagged back in, and locks Cox in a cross arm breaker until it is broken up by The Machine! Jew runs toward The Machine, but is hit by the big man's lariat! Cox takes advantage of this opening and tags Calysto back into the fray. Calysto goes on the offensive and suplexes Jew to the mat twice. He covers, but gets just two as Jew kicks out. Hosemann is now itching to get back at Calysto for burning his manager, and takes a tag from GI Jew for his opportunity. Hosemann executes a double leg takedown, and peppers Calytso with lefts and rights. Hosemann breaks the hold, and whips Calysto into the ropes. The PWA Champion makes a blind tag to Cox as Hosemann dropkicks "The Iceman"! Cox speeds towards Hosemann, but the "Superstar" takes his head off with a clothesline! Hosemann raises his arms in celebration, and turns around directly into a Rock Bottom from the Machine!

The referee loses total control as the other three men all storm into the ring, and go at it. Hosemann lies on the mat while Cox uncharacteristically climbs to the top rope. The Machine lifts up the "Superstar", but Jew comes out of nowhere and Gores the big man out of the ring!  Jew turns around and smirks, but walks into Calysto's spinning heel kick, sending him staggering out of the ring! "The Iceman" surveys his damage, and turns into a Superstar Stunner! Calysto falls over the top rope, which coincidently knocks Cox from his perch! Cox manages to land on his feet and blast Hosemann with the Coxsucker DDT! Hosemann's body falls totally limp, but Cox has forgotten about Speed Demon, who connects with a fierce Demonizer! Demon makes a cover, but the referee cannot remember who is the legal man and counts one...two...three...!

SEGMENT 9:  MATCH 8:  MAIN EVENT:  STEEL CAGE MATCH:  GREG TANTALUS VS. JAGUAR:

The finishing touches are being put on the construction of the steel cage when N.E.R.D.'s "Lapdance" cues and Jaguar makes his way to the ring hearing a deafening ovation! One half of the PWA Tag Team Champions, Jaguar looks extremely focused on this night because he requested the match that is about to commence. He steps into the confines of the cage and tugs on the steel, checking its sturdiness. After a few seconds, "Hey You" by Simon Says hits and the boos pour in for Greg Tantalus. There are still a few cheers for the Denver, CO native. But Tantalus totally ignores his reaction and climbs into the ring. Front row fans are urging for Jaguar to jump Tantalus as he enters, but the Hot Boy decides to wait for the bell instead. Tantalus gets right in the face of Jaguar, and the two men exchange heated words until Tantalus hauls off and slugs Jaguar in the face! The referee signals for the bell, shuts the door, and we are underway!

Tantalus aims to hit Jaguar with another right hand, but it is blocked and Jaguar comes back with a few fists of his own and knocks Tantalus to the canvas. Tantalus gets up and walks into a clothesline, sending him back down. Jaguar is gaining momentum, but that is quelled when he is taken down with a surprising Tantalus leg sweep. With Jaguar down, Tantalus jumps right atop him and pounds away about his head and shoulders. Jaguar reverses the position, and he tees off on the head of Tantalus before they roll into the ropes and the referee breaks them apart. Jaguar had the better of the exchange, and furthers his attack by whipping Tantalus into the ropes. Tantalus bounces off the cables to find Jaguar's head down, and delivers a stiff right kick to the chest! Jaguar clutches his chest in agony, and Tantalus grabs him by the head and tosses him into the side of the cage!

Jaguar crumples to the mat and Tantalus stomps away at his opponent. Tantalus connects with the biggest move of the match thus far by folding Jaguar with a piledriver! With Jaguar totally dazed at this point, Tantalus grabs the Hot Boy by the head and rakes his face across the steel, splitting him wide open! Greg Tantalus then smirks at the crowd, who begins to jeer him once again. He lifts Jaguar and drops him with an impressive scoop slam before ascending the turnbuckles. Instead of making an attempt to escape, Tantalus climbs to the top rope and delivers a picture-perfect elbowdrop to the chest of Jaguar! Jaguar is nearly motionless, and Tantalus finally decides to try to end the match by escaping through the cage door. The second referee swings the door open, by Tantalus is chop blocked in a desparation move by Jaguar! Tantalus falls to the mat in a heap, clutching his knee. Jaguar picks himself off the mat and stomps away at the injured limb. Jaguar then connects with a kneebreaker, and applies the STF! Jaguar, still hurting, cannot get much force behind the hold and Tantalus escapes it by raking the Hot Boy's eyes!

Jaguar is temporarily blinded, and gets knocked down by a furious Tantalus clothesline! Jaguar does not get back up immediately, and Tantalus uses his extra time to gloat. Jaguar regains his footing, and takes a wild swing at Tantalus.  Tantalus manages to duck his swipe, and hit Jaguar in the kidney before setting him up for the Vertebreaker! Jaguar is lifted, but forces his way out of the move and nails a reverse death valley driver! The crowd cheers rabidly as Jaguar has seemingly bought himself some time to escape, but the tag champ is physically spent from delivering the forceful move. They reach their feet about the same time, and Jaguar heads for the door. He takes about two steps before Tantalus charges and bulldogs him back down to the mat!

Tantalus lifts Jaguar once more, and again tosses him into the side of the cage! Jaguar stumbles around the ring with his legs on dream street, and walks right into the waiting arms of Tantalus, who delivers a massive Big O! Jaguar lies spread eagle on the canvas as Tantalus cockily celebrates. Tantalus taunts a motionless Jaguar by appearing to escape over the top of the cage, but then getting down and attempting to walk through the door. It seems as if Tantalus wants Jaguar to get up so he can deliver more punsihment, but the Hot Boy cannot oblige. Tantalus shrugs his shoulders and heads towards the door. He reaches the exit, but the door is slammed into his head by Romeo! Tantalus falls to the mat as the other Hot Boy steps into the cage. Jaguar stirs on the mat, while Romeo sets up Tantalus for the Dre Day powerbomb.

Romeo's positive reaction grows a lot louder, but not for the big man. The
Richmond crowd has blown the roof off for FSW/CAW Champion Mike Griffin, who rushes into the cage and breaks up Romeo's attempt. Tantalus lands on his feet, and Romeo swings at Griffin. But Griffin ducks, and TFU nail Romeo with the Hart Attack! Apparently on the same page, TFU is hearing a huge ovation! But confusion overcomes everyone as the house lights shut off and "We Who Are Not As Others" by Seputura begins to play! Everyone looks for Vulture, who is nowhere to be found! When the music stops and the lights return, Mike Griffin is laid out on the mat, and Greg Tantalus is hurrily trying to escape over the top of the cage! Tantalus is standing above the top turnbuckle when a revitalized Jaguar sneaks up behind him and executes the Carrjack from the top rope! The entire state capital of Virginia breaks out into chants of "Holy Sh*t! Holy Sh*t!" as both men crash to the mat! With Griffin down, Romeo flat on his back from the Hart Attack, and Tantalus unconscious, Jaguar is the only man able to stand up, and he stumbles through the cage door and onto the arena floor for the win!!!

WINNER at 22:02:  JAGUAR

THE AFTERMATH:

After Jaguar revives the fallen Romeo and pulls him from the cage, both Griffin and Tantalus recover and stand up. Neither knows what just happened, but Tantalus hears the sounds of "Lap Dance" and immediately gets in the face of Griffin and shoves him to the mat! Tantalus yells at his partner and then leaves the cage. Griffin looks around the arena, shrugs his shoulders in disgust as if to apologize for his partner's actions, and exits the cage to the theme of "Parabola" by TOOL.

Romeo locks eyes with Griffin as Tantalus does the same with Jaguar, before all four men nod to one another in a show of respect and the Hot Boy$ tell Camieko to take a seat next to Palmer at ringside. The Hot Boy$ then get into the ring for their biggest challenge yet to their titles.

The referee hoists both belts into the air and motions for the bell. The bell rings and it appears that Jaguar will start things off with Tantalus. Just two weeks after their explosive steel cage match, Greg Tantalus and Jaguar engage in a long, cold staredown. While they share professional respect for one another, these two warriors are indeed enemies, and they share words before locking up and starting the action. Jaguar gets the better of the exchange, and forces Tantalus back into the neutral corner. the referee calls for the break, and Jaguar backs up, giving a clean break. They lock up again, and Tantalus grips Jaguar in a tight headlock. Jaguar responds by shoving Tantalus to the far ropes and downing him with a shoulder block! With the fans now solidly behind the Hot Boy$, Tantalus gets back to his feet and seems to yell something at Mike Griffin.
Griffin then extends his hand amidst Tantalus' apparent frustration, and Greg tags in "The Impulse" to another roar from the crowd!

For the first time since their title match a few weeks ago in
Philadelphia, Mike Griffin and Jaguar look across the ring at one another. Jaguar lunges forth for a lock up, but the quicker man takes him down with a sharp armdrag! Griffin holds onto Jaguar and locks him in an armbar. Jaguar responds by using three right hands to break the hold. Jaguar runs to the ropes, but Griffin decks him with a dropkick on the way back! Jaguar rolls out of the ring in frustration, and slaps his hands on the ring apron. After pacing on the outside of the ring, Jaguar rolls back in and makes a tag to Romeo.

Romeo steps into the ring, and makes the same mistake as Jaguar by walking into a
Griffin armdrag and consequent armbar. Griffin seemingly underestimates Romeo's power however, as the Hot Boy turns his armbar into a hiptoss! Griffin gets back up, but Romeo plays to his strength by using fisticuffs to knock down the resilient "Impulse". Romeo whips Griffin into a neutral corner and follows him in with a big clothesline! Griffin stumbles out of the corner, and Romeo continues his high-impact assault with a big belly-to-belly suplex! Romeo attempts a cover, but Griffin kicks out at two.

Griffin stumbles to his feet, but is whipped into the champions' corner. Romeo tags in Jaguar, and the Hot Boy$ stomp Griffin into oblivion before the official counts to five and Romeo steps out. Jaguar delivers a long vertical suplex, and floats over into a cover. One...two...Griffin barely gets out! Jaguar applies a rear chinlock as the crowd cheers for Griffin's escape. Griffin pumps his arm a few times as Tantalus pounds the TFU turnbuckle. Griffin hits Jaguar with an elbow, then another, and another before escaping with a belly-to-back suplex! Both men are now lying on the mat, reaching for tags. Jaguar is first in making a tag, but he is followed by Griffin, who brings Tantalus in to yet another roar from the crowd!

Tantalus comes in and unloads on both Hot Boy$, peppering them with lefts and rights.
Griffin downs Jaguar with a clothesline, and heads towards Romeo with another. but the Hot Boy manages to duck and Griffin blasts Tantalus! Tantalus falls to the mat, and while the official tries to regain order, Romeo boots Griffin in the gut and delivers a massive Dre Day powerbomb! Romeo falls atop Griffin, but Tantalus is the legal man and the official does not render a count. While Romeo gets off of Griffin, Tantalus has grabbed the chair from Camieko and rolled back into the ring.

No one sees Tantalus with the chair in hand, but Romeo whips
Griffin towards the ropes, but he sails right into his partner! TFU both collide with a side of the chair, and Griffin stumbles backward right into Jaguar, who compresses  "The Impulse" with a Carrjack! With the crowd at the highest decibel level of the night thus far, the referee tries to get Jaguar out of the ring, but Tantalus has recovered and nailed Romeo with the chair! Romeo falls backward right into the referee, crushing both the official and Jaguar in the corner!

Tantalus is now the only man standing, and he struggles to revive his partner.
Griffin is more dazed than ever and stumbles into the ropes. As the referee stirs, Tantalus props Griffin up against the cables. But Tantalus turns around into a charging Romeo! Romeo rushes forth, but misses a clothesline attempt and runs into a hard right hand from Griffin! Romeo turns back towards Tantalus, who picks the Hot Boy up by his thighs! Seeing this, Griffin runs off the opposite ropes and connects with the Hart Attack! The crowd is now roaring louder than ever and Tantalus falls atop Romeo! The official counts one...two.....three! TFU have won the PWA Tag Titles!
