Ford Center

Oklahoma City, OK

The PWA logo flashes onto the screen before fading away into the opening for Overdrive. The Foo Fighters’ “All My Life” blares throughout the loudspeakers as we are taken inside the Ford Center in Oklahoma City. After an impressive fireworks display, the camera focuses in on our commentators for the evening.

Cade: Hello ladies and gentlemen, and welcome to PWA Overdrive! I’m Nick Cade, here with Rick Madsen, and we have an incredible broadcast for you tonight!

Madsen: We definitely do Nick. Tonight, we will see the first 6-woman tag team match in PWA history when the Women’s Champion, Allison Kelly, teams up with Jade and Michelle to face Camieko, Kayne, and the newcomer Jenny Ottati.

Cade: That will be a huge match, but we will also see Romeo get back into the ring when he faces Renegade.

Madsen: Man, I spoke to Romeo earlier, and this guy is pissed off. Did you see what happened with him and James Biamonte?

Cade: I sure did, but in regards to our main event tonight, we have some footage to show you fans out there. This occurred shortly after the superstars arrived to the building today, lets take a look.

Segment 1 – Backstage

A graphic reading “earlier today” is shown at the bottom left of the screen as we see a shot of the Ford Center’s back door. Loki enters through the door, with his bag over his shoulder. A few young kids swarm the former Progressive Champion and ask for his autograph, as Loki drops his bag and eagerly grabs a pen in response.

Loki: Whats your name big guy?

Kid: My name is Byron.

Loki: (As he signs) Alright, here you go Byron.

Kid 2: Hey look, its Mike Tortorici!

The swarm of youngsters stands in awe as the former 6-time CAW Champion steps through the door next.

Kid 2: Mr. Tortorici, can I have your autograph?

Tortorici: My autograph? Listen kid, I know how you feel. No one, absolutely no one wants a Loki autograph. They want something they can actually show their friends. But I’m Mike Tortorici. My autographs cost. You have $200?

Loki: Hey Mike, what gives? You can’t charge them man.

Tortorici: I can’t what? I can do whatever the hell I want!

Kid 3: You can’t beat The Machine!

Tortorici: Shut up!

Loki: The kid’s right. As a matter of fact, I bet you can’t beat me either.

Tortorici: You?! Who the hell are you to challenge me?  I just came here to enjoy a show, but if you want to get wrecked, you came to the right guy. You’re on.

Tortorici walks away, headed to his locker room as Loki continues to sign.

Loki: Okay, who’s next?

Segment 2, Match 1 – Deion Young vs. Spanish Fly

Referee: Matt Hansen

We return to ringside to find 300+pounder Deion Young already inside the ring, conversing with referee Matt Hansen. Juvenile and Jay-Z’s “Snoopy Track” stops, allowing “The Convo” by DMX to take over as arena fills with boos for the arrival of Spanish Fly. Accompanied by “The Standard Sleaze” Don Cerrone, Fly carries an aura of cockiness as they walk to the ring.

Cade: Loki and Tortorici will be a great main event, but now lets look at Spanish Fly. He looks incredibly cocky for a guy who has an opponent that outweighs him by about 80-85 pounds.

Madsen: He does, but I think there is a reason for that. On the past two episodes of Frequency, he jumped Scythe and he went head-to-head with Jaguar, who is one of the best we have ever seen. Those encounters have given Fly some confidence, and he appears ready for every challenge now.

The bell sounds and Fly heads right in the face of his opponent. The masked head of Spanish Fly moves up and down, showing that he is attempting to berate his opponent with his words, but Young will have none of it as he grabs Fly by the head and sends him soaring into a corner! Deion Young blasts him with two back elbows and follows with a big avalanche! Fly stumbles out, and Young flattens him with a big sidewalk slam! He covers, one…two…and Fly barely kicks out!

Madsen: Fly is in trouble right now!

Cade: He certainly is! Deion Young wants to make a name for himself tonight!

Deion Young scoops Spanish Fly from the canvas and positions him for a Piledriver. Cerrone sees this and quickly hops onto the ring apron, gaining Young’s attention. Once Cerrone drops down, Young turns back to Fly, who capitalizes with a low blow! Hansen doesn’t see the illegal maneuver, but does catch Fly roll Young up in a small package for 1—2—and Young kicks out!

Cade: That is Spanish Fly’s “X” factor right there--Don Cerrone.

Madsen: He has definitely been a help to Spanish Fly lately.

Spanish Fly then presses his advantage by stomping away on the big man. He picks Young up from the mat and attempts an Irish whip, but Young reverses and nails a high flapjack! The crowd gets behind Young as Cerrone once again climbs on the ring apron. Young manages to grab Cerrone this time, but Fly creeps behind him with a schoolboy. Hansen counts one…two…three!

Cade: And Cerrone helps Spanish Fly steal another win!

Madsen: They make a great team Nick, even when they don’t tag.

Winner via pinfall at 4:34 – Spanish Fly

Segment 3 – Backstage

We are taken inside the ladies’ locker room, where Michelle, Jade and Allison Kelly are preparing for their match.

Jade: I can’t wait to get out there Michelle. I’ve beaten all three of those chicks. Camieko, Kayne, and that pretty little Jenny Ottati. I’m better than all of them.

Kelly: (Clearing her throat) Not on your own.

Jade: Excuse me?

Kelly: You know, when I hit Jenny with my belt.

Jade: Look Allison, I never needed your help and didn’t ask for it. All you are to me is the chick that is keeping my belt warm.

Kelly: Is that so?

Michelle: (Stepping in between the two) Ladies, ladies. Lets not forget the task at hand here. We have to beat our opponents tonight first, and then worry about me winning the Women’s title later.

The three women continue to argue as the camera cuts away and goes to another, where Tracie Reed is standing by with Mike Tortorici.

Segment 4- Backstage

Reed: Mike Tortorici, a lot of speculation and controversy has been surrounding you lately with the whole situation about you and Sonny, but tonight, you had an altercation with Loki. For a man that has so many enemies right now, what makes you want a match with someone like Loki?

Tortorici: I’m sorry Tracie, but what the hell are you talking about? Loki challenged me, not the other way around. And what do you mean “someone like Loki”?

Reed: Well he is a very talented competitor.

Tortorici: He is a nobody! He isn’t in my league!

Reed: Well let’s talk about someone who I know is in your league, The Machine.

Tortorici: (Angered) Look, The Machine is suspended! This night is not about The Machine! It’s all about me, Mike Tortorici, not The Machine! Just forget it, this interview is over!

Segment 5, Match 2 – Renegade vs. Romeo

Referee: Dan Martin

Young Turk and Manny Fresh’s “Freak Da Hoes” begins over the PA system as three D-Bombs fly from the ceiling and crash atop the ramp. For the first time in weeks, Romeo emerges alone, and to a very mixed reaction. The former Progressive Champion looks absolutely enraged as he makes his way to the ring.

Cade: It was last week on Frequency that Romeo found out that Dee Licious was not pregnant like she said she was.

Madsen: No she wasn’t, and it was James Biamonte that blew his sister’s cover.

Cade: I guess she upset him to that point, but I would not want to be Romeo’s opponent tonight.

“Renegade” by Jay-Z and Eminem begins next, and boos creep in for the man who makes his appearance next, Renegade. The D-Unit’s leader has a microphone in hand and calls for an end to his theme.

Renegade: Now when I first got here, I was known as a bit of a player. A pimp, if you will. Now that hasn’t changed, but I never glorified it that much, or as much as my opponent. Romeo, “Da Playboy” himself. At one time, you might have been the man on that scene, but after what I saw on Tuesday, you should be ashamed of yourself. To let a chick like Dee Licious play you the way she did, it looks like you were the one who got pimped. I mean, whoa, wait a second-

Romeo has heard enough at this point, and responds by charging up the ramp and clotheslining Renegade down! Romeo then brings Renegade into the ring and tosses him into a corner before proceeding to stomp him into oblivion. Referee Dan Martin breaks things up, but Romeo looks to go right back to work. Renegade takes advantage by grabbing his tights and pulling him right into the turnbuckles with sharp force!  Romeo holds his jaw, but Renegade nails him with an impressive sidekick1 He covers, 1---and Romeo forces him off with authority!

Cade: Look at that power from Romeo!

Madsen: Romeo is a very dangerous man right now, very dangerous.

Renegade tries to keep Romeo down, but the Hot Boy will have none of it, grabbing Renegade by the arm and blasting him with a short clothesline! He yanks Renegade back up and whips him to the ropes. Renegade ducks another clothesline, but cannot miss the big boot that follows! Romeo then looks out to the crowd, most of which is cheering while some other boo, and he fixes his bandana --- the signal for Dre Day!

Cade: It’s the beginning of the end for Renegade!

Romeo gets Renegade in position for the move, but down the ramp dart Maverick and Darkstar! D-Unit runs in and quickly attacks Romeo as Martin calls for the bell. They pound on the back of Romeo before whipping him to the ropes. Romeo bounces off, ducks a clothesline and scores with a double clothesline of his own on the return! Renegade creeps up behind Romeo, and kicks the 7-time tag team champion with a huge roundhouse kick! D-Unit begins to gang up on Romeo until “Move Bitch” booms over the speakers and Paul Dawkins slides into the ring!

Cade: Dawkins is here!

Madsen: And he’s heading straight for Renegade!

D-Unit attempts to flee from the ring, but only Renegade manages to escape. Dawkins and Romeo work over the members of D-Unit as Dawkins nails Maverick with the Sweetness and Romeo connects with Dre Day on Maverick! Renegade quickly backpedals up the ramp and through the curtain as “Move Bitch” replays.

Winner via disqualification at 6:59 – Romeo

Segment 6 – Jumbotron

We cut to the Jumbotron, where an empty boxing ring is shown as Wu-Tang Clan’s “C.R.E.A.M.” plays. Several clips of a young black male knocking out several opponents air before a voice is heard.

Voice: You might have heard of me. 2001 and 2002 New York City Golden Gloves Champion, 2002 National Championship Bronze Medallist, and undefeated club fighter, “Showtime” Damon Savage. I’ve knocked guys out in the boxing ring, and soon I’ll be doing the same in the wrestling ring. PWA, its almost “Showtime.”

A white-lettered graphic is seen next, reading: “Showtime” Damon Savage, coming soon to the PWA.

-COMMERCIAL BREAK-

Segment 7 – Backstage

We cut to a backstage hallway, where Camieko, Jenny Ottati and Kayne are seen making their way to the ring.

Segment 8, Match 3 – Michelle, Allison Kelly and Jade vs. Kayne, Jenny Ottati and Camieko

Referee: Billy Vargas

“Zerospace” by Kidneythieves begins, and a very negative fan reaction meets Jade and Michelle as they walk to the ring. The ladies of S.I.N. ignore their usual reaction as they climb into the ring to warm up. All eyes turn to the ramp once more as Eminem’s “White America” booms next and the PWA Women’s Champion, Allison Kelly, makes her entrance. Kelly exchanges words with her partners until “Just A Girl” by No Doubt takes over and the crowd gives it up for Jenny Ottati. The newcomer soaks up her reaction, but waits atop the ramp for her partners. “She Get It From Her Mama” by Juvenile hits next, and Camieko steps out to the same warm reaction that Ottati received. Camieko and Jenny high-five one another as Eve’s “Who’s That Girl” hits next and the arena comes alive for Kayne! The three crowd favorites make their way to the ring and the bell sounds shortly thereafter.

Cade: Camieko, Kayne and Jenny all appear to be on the same page, but the team of Jade, Michelle and Allison really need to get it together.

Madsen: Well if they want to win, they have to.

Michelle is in the ring first, looking to start things off against Camieko. They lock up, and Michelle gains the early advantage with a side headlock. Camieko backs up to the ropes and shoves Michelle to the other side. Michelle bounces off and Camieko leapfrogs her before flooring her with a Japanese arm drag. Michelle gets up to find a hiptoss, and then gets up again for a Camieko dropkick before backing up and tagging in Jade.

Cade: And here comes Jade, the most dominant female champion this company has seen.

Madsen: Well Allison Kelly might be making a run for that. We’ll see.

Jade enters and delivers a sharp kick to Camieko’s stomach before hitting a gutwrench suplex. She covers, but barely gets a two count from Vargas. Jade lifts Camieko up, but Camieko surprises her with three quick jabs and a dropkick! She slowly makes her way to the corner and tags in Ottati.

Cade: Now here’s the newest of the bunch, Jenny Ottati.

Madsen: She looks very impressive in the ring, and her wrestling ain’t bad either.

Cade: Oh come on, Madsen.

Madsen: What? Nick, you know she’s hot.

Cade: Yeah…well….

Ottati comes in quickly and peppers Jade with three right hands before flooring her with a spinning clothesline! Michelle runs in and Ottati simply uses her momentum to toss her over the top rope and to the floor! Jade gets up, and Allison slaps her in the back to tag herself in. Jade takes exception, but Camieko enters the ring and clotheslines her over the top! Michelle yanks at the leg of Ottati, allowing Allison time to nail a running neckbreaker. Kelly covers, but it is broken up by Kayne! Michelle re-enters the ring and tackles the former Women’s champ to the ground as Jade and Camieko brawl on the outside and Vargas has totally lost control of this contest!

Cade: Billy Vargas needs to restore some order here!

Madsen: He does, but does it have to be now? All these fine women out here, I say just let ‘em go!

Kayne begins to get the better of Michelle and manages to toss her through the ropes and back to the outside. Kelly grabs Ottati, getting her in position for the Nightmare on Helms Street, but Kayne spins her around, kicks her in the stomach and hits the Overdrive! Vargas reprimands Kayne and forces her back to the ring apron, but that gives Jade enough time to slide back into the ring and nail Ottati with the Side Effect! Both ladies are down, but Kelly manages to drape an arm over the chest of Ottati. Vargas gets in position to count 1---2---and Ottati gets a shoulder up!

Cade: Did you see that? What heart shown by Ottati!

Madsen: Well she’s still down and Allison is back up. This one could end right here.

Kelly looks out to the crowd and signals for the end of this match. She gets Ottati in position for the neckbreaker once more, but Ottati elbows her in the stomach, breaking the hold before she floats over her back, grabs her head, and goes for the Cali Dreamin’ DDT! However, Allison slips out, rolls underneath the bottom rope, and begins walking to the back!

Cade:  What the hell is Allison doing?!?

Madsen:  I think she forgot something in the back!

Cade:  She did not, she’s leaving!

Allison Kelly shrugs off the match and heads backstage to the rampant disapproval of the crowd as referee Billy Vargas counts to ten and awards the match to Kayne, Camieko, and Jenny Ottati via count-out, a completely ungratifying victory.

Madsen:  Look at those three.  None of them look happy.  I bet I can think of a way to change their moods…

Cade: Oh stop it Rick. Let’s head over to Tracie Reed, who is standing with Loki. Take it away Tracie.

Winners via count-out at 8:04 – Kayne, Camieko and Jenny Ottati

Segment 9 – Backstage

Reed: Alright guys, I am here with Loki, and Loki, you are just moments away from facing one of the biggest challenges of your career, Mike Tortorici. What are you feeling?

Loki: I’m feeling that I made the challenge to Mike Tortorici for a reason, and that reason is that I know I can beat him. I know he was a CAW Champion 6 times and all that, but this is now. I am on the rise around here, and I’m going to step on Mike Tortorici on my way to the top.

Reed: Very strong words. Do you think that this is a good time to face Tortorici, seeing as he is mentally preoccupied with his upcoming showdown against The Machine?

Loki: It could be, but I really don’t care. I’m looking to get a big notch in my belt by taking out Tortorici tonight, and that’s exactly what I’m going to do.

-COMMERCIAL BREAK-

Segment 10 – Ringside

Madsen: Did you hear what Loki said? He’s an idiot if he thinks he can step on Tortorici to get to the top!

Cade: Well we are just moments away from our main event, and it would be a huge win for Loki if he could defeat Tortorici here tonight.

Madsen: Not gonna happen. No way, no how.

Cade: We’ll see, but we are just two weeks away from heading to the Saavis Center for PWA Animosity. “The Iceman” Jason Calysto was there earlier this week as tickets went on sale, and the fans in St. Louis came out in droves to meet him. Animosity sold out in just 2 hours!

Madsen: That’s gonna be a crazy night Nick. Jaguar will challenge “Smooth” Greg Tantalus for the PWA Championship!

Cade: The Machine, who will return this Tuesday, will also face Mike Tortorici in a No Holds Barred Street Fight, but that’s not all. We found out today that the “Hardcore Icon” Kerry Cox has exercised his title rematch clause and he will face Tony Annetta for the International Championship at Animosity!

Madsen: Oh man, that’s gonna be a good one.

Segment 11, Match 4 – Main Event – Mike Tortorici vs. Loki

Referee: Jose Soares

PWA Ring Announcer Lee Palmer steps into the ring as the house lights go down. Mozart’s “Requiem” begins to creep in over the loudspeakers and Palmer begins to speak.

Palmer: Ladies and gentlemen, this main event is scheduled for one fall. First, on his way to the ring, from New York, New York, weighing 232 pounds, Mike Tortorici!

Tortorici emerges to a plethora of boos from the Oklahoma City crowd, but only soaks it up as he climbs the ring steps and enters the ring. “Edge Of The Earth” by 30 Seconds to Mars hits next, and the fans give a huge reaction to Tortorici’s opponent.

Palmer: And his opponent, from Los Angeles, California, weighing 255 pounds, Loki!

Loki nearly ignores the pop he receives and rushes right into the ring! He charges at Tortorici, but the former World Champion kills his momentum with a quick boot to the head! Loki falls to the mat and Tortorici stomps away as the bell sounds to start the match. He lifts Loki up by his collar and forces him into a corner, where he blasts his ribs with three hard shoulder thrusts. Loki takes a wild swing, but Tortorici dodges it and nails a big sidewalk slam!

Madsen: See? Tortorici is absolutely abusing Loki!

Cade: The match just started, its not over.

Madsen: Alright, give him a few seconds.

Tortorici covers, but only gets a two count. He pulls Loki back up and whips him to the ropes, but Loki bounces off and nails a flying forearm on his return! The surprised Tortorici gets back up and Loki furthers the attack with three right hands before whipping him into the ropes and scoring with a powerslam! Loki doesn’t go for a cover; instead he waits for Tortorici to rise before kicking him in the gut and nailing the Penance DDT! Loki covers, 1---2---and Tortorici kicks out with authority!

Madsen: Look at Loki! He’s in shock that Tortorici kicked out like that!

Cade: It might take a little more, but Loki has him reeling!

Loki senses the end being near and he prepares to deliver the Atheist superkick. Tortorici gets to his feet, and Loki thrusts out his leg, but Tortorici catches his foot, spins him around and chokeslams him down to the mat with vicious impact! Tortorici leans against the ropes, but also hears the fans yelling “We Want The Machine! We Want The Machine!”

Cade: Listen to this, they are chanting for The Machine!

Madsen: The Machine is suspended and will return on Tuesday when it’s lifted, but all this is doing is making Tortorici upset.

Tortorici lifts Loki back up after a long delay and signals for the Crucifix Powerbomb, but Loki surprises him with a stinging right hand that turns Tortorici around. When Tortorici faces Loki again, he is kicked in the gut and set up for the Morning Star! Loki gets him up, but Tortorici floats over, spins him around, kicks him in the gut and plants Loki with the Crucifix Bomb! Tortorici covers, one…two…three!

Madsen: That’s it! I told you Loki didn’t stand a chance!

Cade: Well it was a great effort regardless. Wait a second; c’mon Tortorici the match is over!

Madsen: They keep chanting for The Machine!

Tortorici hears the chants and absolutely snaps, lifting Loki up and blasting him with another Crucifix Bomb! Referee Jose Soares attempts to intervene but gets a chokeslam for his trouble. Tortorici doesn’t stop and lifts Loki up, turns him upside down and hits a Tombstone Piledriver! Scores of PWA officials emerge from the backstage area as Tortorici continues to go to work on Loki. After another crippling Tombstone, “Requiem” replays and Tortorici finally exits the ring, leaving a destroyed Loki in his wake.
