outdoor view of an extravagant mansion in
With that, Wellington, sips his brandy, puts it down, and
crawls back into bed as the camera fades out of his mansion and we are shown a
graphic that reads, “Dexter P. Wellington – An Inspiration to us All.”
SEGMENT 10: RINGSIDE:
"Spitfire"
by the Prodigy begins over the speakers and the crowd gives it up as Dynamite
Dean Nash and Damien Fields make their way to the ring. The Tag Team Champions
are dressed in street clothes as they are not slated to compete tonight, but
are also proudly displaying their championship belts across their shoulders as
they step into the squared circle. Nash grabs a microphone as the music dies
down and the crowd quiets.
Nash: You know, since we've become tag team champions, we
haven't gotten a single minute of face time out here. So now that we have a big
title defense coming up, we figured we would come out here and --
Nash
cannot finish as American Head Charge's "A Violent Reaction"
explodes through the sound system and The Lost Souls step out. They show no
signs of caring for their opponents as they step right down the ramp and into
the ring with a microphone of their own.
Reaper: Screw your face time! You wanna
talk about teams not getting their dues around here? What about The Lost Souls?! We are the first-ever PWA Tag Team of the
Year and two-time tag team champions; it's no wonder that nobody around here
wants to give us a title shot!
"All
or Nothin" by Tom Petty and the Heartbreakers
begins and the crowd groans collectively as Justin Schenck steps down to the
ring, followed by The Naturals. The former tag champions fetch him another
microphone and as usual, he wastes no time in making his voice heard.
Schenck: Listen to you guys! Are you serious? Complaining
about face time? Nobody wants to hear you talk, its
not like any of you ever have anything important to say. Now,
onto this Friday night. Do you guys know the rules of this match? Come
on, we're talking no holds-barred, tornado style action. The first fall wins
and my Naturals are easily the fastest team and smartest team in this industry.
How do you expect to have a chance?
Fields: Expect to have a chance? We don't expect to have a
chance at Revival, you know why? Because we're just gonna say screw you all and
do this right now!
The
champions quickly drop their belts and begin slugging it out with The Naturals!
The Lost Souls quickly join in and immediately a bunch of officials and
security zoom down to the ring as if they were waiting for an event like this
to occur. The three teams are nowhere near separation as we cut out to take a
commercial break.

11: MATCH 3: NON-TITLE MATCH: PWA WOMEN’S CHAMPION KEIKO ISHIDA VS. ROSE
LUNE:
Referee: Dan Martin
The crowd murmurs as they inspect a new face in the form of Rose Lune. She is standing in the ring with her hands on her
hips, facing the entryway and eagerly awaiting her opponent. Just then, “Samurai”
by Juno Reactor hits and crowd reacts negatively to the Women’s Champion. Keiko
Ishida, also a relatively new face, makes her appearance and walks down the
ramp with a mind set only on her next match. She steps into the ring and
quietly stares at Lune while removing her belt. Lune offers the same glare, seemingly not intimidated or
impressed with the person who’s trampled over the women’s division in mere
weeks.
Cade: Rose Lune is a developmental wrestler,
and this is her first big match here on Frequency.
Ferrara: Against the Women’s Champion, no less.
Although this match isn’t for the title, a win here would definitely put her up
for consideration for a scheduled title match.
As the bell sounds, Ishida and Lune stand a fair
distance apart from each other. Suddenly, Ishida bursts out of her spot and
plows Lune to the ground with a fierce forearm. Lune quickly gets back to her feet, but is taken back off
them with a clothesline. Ishida peels Lune off the
mat before lifting her up high, then driving her into the canvas with a back
body drop. Ishida stands tall and looks out into the crowd for several moments
as Lune struggles to stand.
Cade: I don’t like the looks of this.
As Lune manages to get herself back up, Ishida gains
momentum with a running start and annihilates her with a vicious STO. Ishida
covers and the referee slaps the mat three times. The bell sounds.
Cade: This woman is just frightening. What’s it going to take to stop her
reign?
With “Samurai” playing, Lune is clearly out, but
Keiko gets back to her feet and stomps away at the prone woman. As she looks to
continue the assault, Camieko dashes down the ramp. Seeing this, Keiko quickly
slides out of the ring, looking to avoid a confrontation with her rival. Ishida
takes her belt and starts heading up the ramp, but turns back and looks on as
Camieko shouts obscenities at her opponent for Revival. She points at the belt,
and Ishida shakes her head. They inaudibly exchange words as Aaliyah’s “Hot Like Fire” plays
with the audience cheering for the former Women’s Champion.

SEGMENT 13: MATCH 5: PWA WORLD HEAVYWEIGHT CHAMPION SOLOMON &
INFERNUS VS. JAGUAR & JASON CALYSTO:
Referee:
Matt Hansen
We
return to the ring to find Lee Palmer standing in the center of it, prepared to
introduce the participants of the next match just as "I Got That
Fire" begins to play again.
Palmer: The following tag team contest is our main event
and it is scheduled for one fall! Introducing first, making his way to the ring
from
Jaguar
steps out to another massive pop from the crowd and he points to them before
throwing his arms high in front of his flaming fireworks. The former World and
Tag Team Champion climbs into the ring and poses on the turnbuckles until his
music ends and "F*ckin' in the Bushes"
by Oasis takes over.
Palmer: And his tag team partner, from
New York City, weighing 225 pounds, The Iceman, Jasonnnnn
Calystooooo!
Calysto
steps out to an equally raucous ovation from the crowd and looks ready for
action as he steps through the ropes and into the ring. He and Jaguar pound
fists and each take their stances, ready for action as Darkseed's
"Hear Me" hits again.
Palmer: And their opponents, being led to the ring by Superagent Walter Gindin, from Atlanta, Georgia and Barrow,
Alaska respectively, at a total combined weight of 495 pounds, the team of
Infernus and the PWA World Heavyweight Champion, Solomon!
Solomon,
Infernus and Gindin arrive to a huge array of boos, but both men look dead set
on taking out their respective Revival opponents as they near the ring.
Infernus and Solomon climb into the ring and the champion hands his belt over
to his agent as the bell sounds.
Cade: I know Romeo was upset about not being chosen to be
in this match with his partner Jaguar, but I think Jaguar did the right thing
by choosing Calysto. These two are certainly no strangers to each other inside
the wrestling ring, and it was Jaguar that inducted Jay into The
Hall of Fame back in August.
Madsen: Well that was a special night, but this one is all
about Revival implications here. This will be a smash-mouth kind of match.
Jaguar
looks to start off against Solomon, but Calysto holds him back in order to
start himself against The Alaskan Monster. Solomon goes right after Calysto,
who backs away and easily takes him down with a drop toe hold. The Iceman
floats over into a front facelock to keep Solomon on
the canvas, but the champion gets to his feet and easily delivers a release
northern lights suplex that sends Calysto flying over his head.
The
Iceman lands hard on the canvas, but Solomon wastes no time in yanking him up
and tossing him into a corner. He rushes forward with a clothesline and Calysto
tries to move away, but he cannot in time and Solomon drills him with a huge
biceps to the face! Calysto slumps down in the corner and Infernus is not antsy
at the chance for a tag, which Solomon gives him.
Cade: Infernus is sure ready to get in there when Calysto
is already down.
Infernus
runs in and begins to choke Calysto with his boot until Tom Stevens breaks it
up. Even with the hold broken, Infernus stays relentless, chopping Calysto hard
in the chest once, then twice and then a third time, but that only manages to
incense The Iceman, who comes back with three chops of his own and sends
Infernus down on the final one.
Calysto
waits for Infernus to rise before charging at him with a clothesline, but
Infernus shocks him with a big dropkick that lands right on the point of his
chin! Infernus tries an unsuccessful pin attempt and then heads back to the
corner to go up to the middle rope, looking for The Ho Down
DDT. He jumps forward for the move, but The Iceman scouts it and blasts
Infernus with a big spinning heel kick to the head! Without even thinking about
a cover, Calysto lunges for his corner and makes a tag to Jaguar!
Madsen: And so is Solomon!
Jaguar
comes in the ring and goes after Infernus, but he is cut off by Solomon. The
two trade furious right hand shots and Solomon begins
to gain the advantage, backing Jaguar up with his heavy fists. He overswings on another right hand, allowing Jaguar to duck
as he lays Infernus out with the shot! Solomon is shocked at the sight of his
partner crashing to the mat and Jaguar quickly clotheslines him over the top
rope to the floor.
Jaguar
readies himself behind Infernus, stalking him for a Carrjack as he slowly gets
up. Infernus is just about to be grabbed when Gindin hops up onto the apron,
but Jaguar runs up and knocks him back down to the floor. Infernus comes up
from behind and clubs Jaguar in the back before delivering an Irish whip, but
Jaguar reverses it. Solomon makes a blind tag upon getting back atop the apron,
just before Jaguar tosses Infernus over the top rope to the arena floor.
Calysto
drops down to put the boots to Infernus just as Jaguar turns around, but he
walks right into Solomon's grasp for The Deep Freeze! Solomon swings him in the
air, but Jaguar escapes and lands on his feet. He lifts Solomon up in position
for The Carrjack, but the champion pounds him hard in the ribs. Jaguar lets go of the hold and easily falls back into Solomon's
grip as he nails him with a big Deep Freeze! Solomon makes an aggressive cover
without hooking any legs as Stevens counts 1---2---3!
The
crowd gasps in horror as Solomon stands over Jaguar with Tom Stevens raising
his hand in the air. Gindin quickly rolls back in to hands Solomon his title
belt, which he raises above Jaguar before wiping his brow down onto the fallen
Hot Boy.
Cade: But can he do it at Revival?!
Madsen: That's not the question. will
Jaguar get off the canvas by Revival after that shot? That's the real question.
Solomon definitely has the edge going into the pay-per-view Nick and that is
just that.
Cade: It looks like nobody can argue that point Rick.
