TUESDAY, DECEMBER 27, 2005 * CARVER ARENA * PEORIA, ILLINOIS

As the broadcast begins, we are sent inside the Carver Arena in Peoria, Illinois, where a brilliant pyrotechnics display ensues and we are sent to our commentators, Victor Troy and Superstar Scott Hosemann.

Troy:  Hello everyone and welcome to PWA Frequency!  I'm Victor Troy, along here with the Superstar Scott Hosemann, and we have a big show tonight, just four days away from Revival!

Hosemann: We sure do, Troy! We have a huge ten-man elimination tag team bout to bring you that is sure to be off the charts!

Troy: That's right! It will be Jaguar, Jason Calysto, GI Jew, Mike Troha, and Showtime Damon Savage going up against Jackie Baccaro, Romeo, Scythe, International Champion James Biamonte, and the returning Hollywood Mike Griffin!

Hosemann: What can be better than that?!

Troy: I don't know about better, Scott, but Solomon has challenged Greg Tantalus to meet him face to face in the ring tonight. If Tantalus shows up, it could be electric!

Hosemann: It sure could!

Troy: Alright folks, let's get down to ringside for our opening bout!

The fans continue their cheering as "Piggy Bank" by 50 Cent hits the speakers and Renegade begins making his way to the ring. Renegade pumps up the crowd as he enters the ring and readies himself for combat.

Troy: Alright, in just four days, Renegade will have a shot at Army of the Damned and the tag team championship, and he has selected Paul Dawkins as his tag team partner. The only problem there is that Paul Dawkins hasn't been seen in weeks and hasn't given Renegade an answer as to whether or not he'd be his partner.

Hosemann: It's true,
Troy, but it's not like Renegade had much of a choice. He needs his buddy Dawkins to be there for him at Revival, and if Dawkins doesn't show up, it's not going to be pretty.

Troy: Dawkins still hasn't had any correspondence with anyone regarding this situation, so we're all waiting anxiously until Revival, hoping Dawkins will do the right thing.

Next, "We Who Are Not As Others" hits the speakers and one half of the Tag Team Champions, Reaper, makes his way to the ring, alongside his partner Loki. Reaper hits the ring and Renegade immediately goes after him, prompting the bell to sound!

* RENEGADE VS. PWA TAG TEAM CHAMPION REAPER *
Referee: Jose Soares
Renegade pounds away hard on Reaper, pounding him into the ropes, before whipping him off them and downing him with a big clothesline. Renegade continues mounting the pressure, running off the ropes, looking to nail Reaper with a high-impact move, but Loki grabs Renegade's foot and trips him up!

Troy: C'mon ref!

Renegade turns his attention to Loki, but Reaper clubs him down hard from behind on the distraction. Reaper puts the boots to Renegade hard, taking control of the bout. Renegade struggles to get to his feet, but Reaper is pounding away on him viciously, keeping him grounded. However, Renegade springs back to life and begins unloading on Reaper, prompting Loki to enter the ring and attack Renegade, prompting a disqualification!

Troy: Oh c’mon! This is ridiculous!

Hosemann: We need some help out here!

Loki and Reaper unload on Renegade, pounding him into oblivion, as the match is thrown out. Referees eventually get the champions off Renegade as the fans boo and we take a break.

Troy: Renegade really needs Dawkins’ help at Revival.

Hosemann: He does,
Troy. Without Dawkins, it’ll be more of this, and worse, at Revival.
* WINNER VIA DISQUALIFICATION: RENEGADE *

As we return, the camera catches Scythe walking through the backstage area, preparing himself for the elimination ten-man tag team match coming up later on tonight. As he walks, he is stopped by Bishop Cross. The two have a tension-filled staredown. Cross is finally the man to break the silence.

Cross: Remember what I said, Scythe. We’re more alike than you know.

Scythe continues to stare him down, and Cross walks away without saying another word.

Back at ringside, “The Stone Monkey” by Kazu Matsui blasts onto the speakers and the PWA Women’s Champion Keiko Ishida makes her way to the ring, alone. Ishida grabs a microphone amidst a chorus of boos and steps into the ring.

Keiko: I am out here tonight because I have something to say. I am out here alone because I don’t want my agent, Walter Gindin, to get in the way. For four months, I have been tortured. I have been haunted by the ghost of something that happened many years ago, a time in my life that I do not want to relive. Morgan Day, it has been years since we last faced off, and it may be years, if ever, before we face off again. All roads lead to
Chicago, to Revival, to my night of redemption. Morgan, you took my pride away from me. In Thailand, you robbed me of my dignity, and you took away all that was dear to me. I couldn’t show my face there again. I can’t say why I did what I did, but the decision to do it haunts me to this day. I thought I had left the shame and the humiliation behind when I made it to the PWA and became the unstoppable force that I am today, but you had to follow me here. You had to invade my territory, and come after my championship. You couldn’t have left well enough alone and gone somewhere else. Instead, you have chosen to torture me once more, to come to the PWA and try to rob me of my dignity once again. You’ve done a good job of it so far. Morgan, I have been Women’s Champion for 385 days, and all people tell me is that I am afraid of you, that I am scared to defend my title against you, that my reign will be proved to be a fluke when you defeat me at Revival. It is unbearable. At Revival, Morgan Day, I will exorcise my demons. I will destroy YOUR life, and destroy everything that YOU stand for. You will rue the day you ever decided to go to battle with me. Because Morgan Day, at Revival, you will become my next victim, and I will see to it that YOU will be the one who will never want to show her face again.

With that, Keiko tosses down the microphone and exits the ring. “The Stone Monkey” cues again and Keiko walks to the back, a look of severe intensity on her face. The camera then shows Morgan Day backstage, watching the monitor, staring Keiko’s image down intensely and heatedly as we take a break.

Back from break, “The Mirror” by Dream Theater explodes onto the speakers and Tony Annetta makes his way to the ring to a sizeable ovation. Annetta takes his place in the ring and awaits the arrival of his opponent. Moments later, “Marriage of Figaro” by Mozart hits and the fans boo raucously as Dexter P. Wellington makes his way to the ring, alongside his butler Winston. Wellington wastes no time, immediately hitting the ring and taking it to Annetta.

Troy: Alright folks, Dex Wellington is in action right now, but he is focused on Kerry Cox at Revival.

Hosemann: He certainly is,
Troy. He is focused on overcoming the officiating of Paul Ferrara, which he is convinced will be uninspired at best, and he is focused on regaining that Progressive Championship. However, he needs to focus on Annetta right here, or he could find himself with an unexpected mark in the L column before Saturday.

* DEXTER P. WELLINGTON VS. TONY ANNETTA *
Referee: Jason Church
Wellington immediately takes Annetta down, trying to establish the important early advantage. Wellington works over the grounded Annetta with a side headlock, cinching it in tightly. Annetta energizes the crowd briefly, shifting Wellington’s weight into a pinning combination, but Wellington is able to shift the weight back to his advantage after two. Annetta then employs a different strategy, using his power to get himself back to a vertical base. Annetta pounds Wellington with repeated elbows to the midsection, trying to break his grip and provide some separation, but Wellington continues to cinch the hold in tightly. Annetta then lets loose with a back suplex, which finally breaks Wellington’s grip, to the cheers of the crowd. Annetta now gets in position, and nearly takes a rising Wellington’s head off with a thunderous clothesline!

Troy: Annetta is on a roll here!

Hosemann: He is! Let’s see if he can maintain it!

Annetta continues to mount the pressure, but a well-timed distraction by Winston changes the momentum. Wellington takes over and goes on the offensive, clipping Annetta’s leg out from under him, and working him over with a violent leglock. Annetta screams in intense pain, and Wellington keeps the pressure mounted. Eventually, Annetta gets to the ropes, forcing the hold to be broken. Wellington continues to mount the pressure on Annetta, eventually priming him for the Million Dollar Dream. However, right before applying the move, the Progressive Champion Kerry Cox shows up at ringside!

Troy: It’s Kerry Cox!

Hosemann: What the hell is he doing out here?!

Wellington notices Cox and exchanges words with him, giving Annetta enough time to recover. Upon doing this, Annetta cradles Wellington from behind! One, two, three!

Troy: Oh my! Annetta has beaten Wellington!

Hosemann: Kerry Cox is in Dex’s head,
Troy! And Wellington can’t get him out!

The fans cheer loudly as “The Mirror” replays and Annetta quickly exits the ring. Cox mockingly waves at Wellington as Dexter goes nuts in the ring, with Winston having to restrain him, as we take a break.

* WINNER VIA PINFALL: TONY ANNETTA *
