PENGROWTH SADDLEDOME

CALGARY, ALBERTA, CANADA

SEGMENT 8:  RINGSIDE:
As we return from commercial, we find PWA reporter Nick Cade standing in the ring.

Cade:  Ladies and gentlemen, as we all know, last week, during a championship match, Scythe was viciously attacked by a man that we all know very little about, and a man that we had not seen before on PWA television.  In the past week, we have learned that this man is a recent signee of PWA owner Bryan Conroy, a man that's been working in the developmental territory for quite some time, and a man that we still do not know his connection to the Modern-Day Samurai.  But, without further adieu, I give to you the man responsible for putting Scythe on the shelf for 4-6 weeks, Bishop Cross!

The fans then start to boo loudly as Andrew Lloyd Webber's "Phantom of the Opera overture" hits and a tall, toned African-American, decked in black and metallic attire, tinted red, slowly makes his way to the ring.  He has an ankh tattooed around his eye and a buzzed head and just simply looks intimidating as he steps in front of Cade, who cautiously extends the microphone.  Cross then suddenly rips it out of his hand and begins to speak.

Cross:  As I look around this arena, scanning the faces of those of you in the crowd, I see one common thing in your eyes.  Fear.  Everyone has fear.  Fear of something.  Last Tuesday, Scythe learned that the thing that he should fear… is Bishop Cross.  You see, you people don’t know it, but Scythe and I are no strangers to one another.  As a matter of fact, years ago, Scythe and I were tag team partners, coming up through the ranks of the SoCal independent scene at accelerated rates.  More than that, we were like brothers, both personal protégés of Ricky “The Dragon” Steamboat, being the only two graduates of our class.  I was a different person then.  I loved you people, valued your opinions.  But then Scythe showed me how cruel the world really was.  After promising me that when it was time to move on, we’d move on together, he got an offer to come to the
New York scene and jumped at it.  I didn’t want to go with him, but he decided to go anyway, leaving me behind.  That gig led him to CAW and, ultimately, here in the PWA.  But what has that meant for Bishop Cross?  For the past five years, I’ve been traveling the world, accepting challenges in any territory I come across, trying to carve my own legacy, but what do I hear?  Every time I turn on the television, it’s Scythe-this, Scythe-that.  And he owes it all to me.  Without Bishop Cross, there would be no Scythe, and it’s about time he remembers that.  Now that Bishop Cross has arrived in the PWA, and over two years overdue I might add, Scythe is going to learn why it’s a bad idea to go back on your word.  In the years since Scythe walked over me and used me as a stepping-stone, my heart has grown colder, my mean streak has extended, and I realized that all of you people are worthless, meaningless fools that have no impact on the way I think or act.  Scythe, this is all stuff that you never learned, stuff that I can teach you.  But lesson number one was learned last week.  I giveth, and I taketh away.  I let you have your time at the top, but the time has now come for Bishop Cross to take his rightful place at the top of the wrestling world.  You are lucky I only took you out for 4-6 weeks.  I had your career in the palm of my hand last week.  I could have crushed it if I wanted to.  But I left just enough of you so that I can destroy you the right way, in the ring.

Cade:  But why now?

Cross:  Did I say you could speak?!  The time is now because Bishop Cross SAYS the time is now!  And if there is anyone in that locker room that doubts what I say, doubts what will come to pass, come out here and tell me that to my face.

After a brief pause, “Ride the Lightning” by Metallica hits and the fans cheer as Damien Fields appears on the ramp, microphone in tow.

Fields:  You know, all the boys are watching this in the back, and we all think you’re a walking pile of bullshit.  I know I’m not the best spokesperson for the locker room, since I’ve only been here since July, but I’ve been around long enough to know a chump like you when I see one.  What you did to Scythe last week is gonna do nothing but make you a lot of enemies around here, and you consider me one of them.

Cross:  Oh is that so?  Then perhaps you wouldn’t mind backing up your words in the ring… this Saturday at Fallen Souls.

Fields:  It’d be my pleasure to be the first guy to wipe that grin off your face and diamond cutter your ass.  Cross, I’m gonna cut you down to size.

Cross:  (smirking) We’ll see, young Damien.  We’ll see.

The two then stare each other down as “Phantom of the Opera overture” hits, Fields starting intently, and Cross smirking, before exiting the ring and disappearing into the crowd as we take a break.

SEGMENT 9:  MATCH 3:  INTERNATIONAL CHAMPION THE OMEGA STEVE BEOVICH & JUSTICE VS. THE LOST SOULS:
Referee:  Jose Soares

Jose Soares stands in the ring and waits as White Zombie's "More Human Than Human" takes to the speakers. The crowd roars as The Omega Steve Beovich steps through the curtain and he acknowledges their cheers before climbing into the ring and removing his International title belt. "Where Da Hood At" by DMX plays next, and the same reaction greets Justice as he marches down the ramp and into the ring. He and Beovich instantly begin squabbling with Soares in the middle, trying to keep them apart.

Ferrara: Look at this. How can these guys beat The Lost Souls when they are so focused on beating each other at Hellbent?

Troy: As much as they hate the Lost Souls for setting them up in their sick reunion, I think they can put it on hold until this weekend.

American Head Charge's "A Violent Reaction" takes over and bood flood the arena as Speed Demon and Reaper step through the curtain. They get halfway down the ramp and their opponents waste zero time as Justice and Beovich go right after them outside the ring!

Beovich and Reaper trade blows as Justice begins to pound away on Speed Demon. Beovich and Reaper get broken up and eventually take their places on the ring apron as Justice tears into Speed Demon in the ring.

Justice batters his former partner with a flurry of fists before sending him into the ropes and sending him crashing down with a huge Tilt-A-Whirl Slam! He covers for one...two...and Demon barely kicks out. Beovich asks for a tag, but Justice declines and turns right into a surprise low blow from Demon that allows him to make a tag to Reaper.

Ferrara: That's bad teamwork from Justice and Beovich right there. He just let Speed Demon make the tag.

Troy: Thanks to a low blow from that scumbag Speed Demon as well.

Reaper clubs Justice in the back before powerslamming him down to the canvas. Comfortable with his advantage, Reaper heads up to the top rope for The Last Breath, but Justice rolls away and he misses the legdrop!

Beovich finally tags in and quickly catches fire, leveling Reaper with a right hand and tossing an incoming Speed Demon through the ropes and out of the ring. Reaper gets to his feet and Beovich catches him in a front waistlock before sending him flying with an impressive overhead belly-to-belly suplex! Beovich covers for a two count, but he stops as strong murmurs welcome the arrival of Dee Licious as she makes her way down the ramp.

Troy: What is Dee doing out here?

Ferrara: Maybe someone put a down payment on her services before Hellbent!

Troy: Hmm, you might be right, although I hope not.

Beovich looks at Justice, who becomes irate at the sight of Dee on the ramp. Each man accuses the other of obtaining Dee's services as Reaper sneaks a tag to Demon, who climbs up to the top rope. Justice and Beovich finally stop arguing, but The Omega turns around to walk right into a Shadow of The Nite of the top rope from Speed Demon, who maintains enough control to cover him for the three count!

"A Violent Reaction" plays again and Dee Licious shrugs her shoulders before turning around to leave. The Lost souls follow suit, but Beovich recovers to get right in Justice's face. Justice shoves him back and it doesn't take long before both men are brawling in the middle of the ring!

Ferrara: Gee, that sure went well.

Troy: Dee came out and the teamwork went right out the window! What is gonna happen with these two come Hellbent?

SEGMENT 10:  JUMBOTRON:
"Fallen Souls" by Ours hits the speakers and we see a graphic appear on the screen that reads "PWA Fallen Souls Report."  From there, the shot takes us to a backstage set and PWA reporter Ron O’Brien, who is standing in front of a backdrop featuring the Fallen Souls logo.

O’Brien:  Hello ladies and gentlemen, my name is Ron O’Brien and this is the Fallen Souls report.  On Saturday night, November 20th, the PWA will return to pay-per-view with our November pay-per-view spectacular, Fallen Souls.  The event will emanate from the Sullivan Arena in Anchorage, Alaska, and is sure to be a heated event!  With just eleven days to go until the broadcast, five matches for the show have been announced, and they are as follows:

In a match for the PWA World Heavyweight Championship, new champion Solomon defends the championship against The Iceman Jason Calysto!

For the International Championship, The Omega Steve Beovich will defend against Justice… but whose corner will Dee Licious be in?!

The Tag Team Championship will be on the line as The Naturals defend against two-time former champs Paul Dawkins and Jackie Baccaro!

In a rematch for the Progressive Championship, Darrin Giles defends against Dynamite Dean Nash!

The Hot Boy$ meet TFU in a tag team encounter to finally settle the long-standing score!

Showtime Damon Savage goes one-on-one with Jon Dulberg, sticking Rodney King right in the middle!

Anthony Failla will meet up with GI Jew!

And, as announced earlier tonight, newcomer Bishop Cross will collide with Damien Fields!

That’s all for this week, folks.  For the Fallen Souls report, I’m Ron O’Brien, saying see you next week!

SEGMENT 11:  BACKSTAGE:
We're taken backstage in a room where Solomon and Failla are staring each other down. Gindin is pacing in the background.

Gindin: Well, this is a predicament that we're in. We've got a match tonight where it's you two against GI Jew and Jason Calysto, and Solomon and I aren't even sure if we can trust you, Failla.

Solomon: It's not as if I actually need him in my corner. I could take GI Jew and Calysto by myself. Just make sure you stay out of my way, Failla.

Failla: I'm not the one you should be worrying about yet, Solomon. My attention is focused on destroying GI Jew tonight. But just so that you don't get too comfortable, after I'm done with GI Jew, that title is next on my list of priorities. You'd just better hope that you're not still holding it. I'll see you in the ring... Partner.

Failla slams the door on his way out as he heads for the ring, leaving a worried Gindin and a pensive Solomon in the room.

SEGMENT 12:  MATCH 4:  PWA WORLD HEAVYWEIGHT CHAMPION SOLOMON & ANTHONY FAILLA VS. THE ICEMAN JASON CALYSTO & GI JEW:
Referee:  Tom Stevens

Slipknot's "Opium of The People" sends the crowd into a frenzy as the motorcycle carrying GI Jew roars down to the ring. Jew speeds the bike around the ring and parks it at the side. He climbs into the ring and poses on each of the turnbuckles, saluting each corner, before "F*ckin In The Bushes" by Oasis hits for the second time tonight, bringing out Jason Calysto. He acknowledges the crowd as they cheer him on. Calysto slides into the ring and greets GI Jew before posing for the fans.

Troy: These two will be teaming up tonight to take on Anthony Failla and Solomon, who they'll be facing individually in just four days.

Ferrara: That's right, Troy. Thanks to Commissioner Cox, he signed this match earlier tonight, and we'll get to see a preview of Fallen Souls right now!

G-Unit's "G'd Up" plays, and the crowd becomes highly negative towards Anthony Failla as he approaches the ring. He stands on the outside and keeps his eye on GI Jew, who is pacing about the ring closely watching Failla. As Failla's theme fades, Darkseed's "Hear Me" floods the arena and the crowd boos louder for Solomon. The champion walks down to the ring with the belt strapped around his waist and Gindin follows him to the ring. Once Solomon reaches the base of the ramp, neither he nor Failla acknowledge each other. They simply climb into the ring as the referee stands in the middle, holding the two teams apart. Gindin stands patiently on the outside as Solomon hands his title over to the referee.

Troy: Tom Stevens has really got to earn his paycheck in there tonight.

With Calysto choosing to start things off for his team, Solomon and Failla argue briefly about who will begin. Solomon chooses to let Failla wrestle first and climbs onto the apron. While they continue to bicker, Calysto bursts forward and clotheslines Failla to the mat! With Failla on the ground, Calysto quickly goes in and locks in an armbar! After several moments, Calysto releases the move and gets to his feet. He lifts Failla off the ground and whips him into the ropes. When Failla returns, Calysto scoops him up and plants him with a big sidewalk slam! The crowd is cheering for the early advantage! Calysto goes over to his corner and tags in GI Jew, and the fans roar in approval!

Troy: And here we go! These two will meet at Fallen Souls!

Ferrara: It won't be pretty then, and it certainly won't be pretty now!

GI Jew goes to work on Failla, dizzying him with lefts and rights! Jew lifts Failla up and sends him gut first onto his knee! He peels Failla off the mat, but Failla breaks free and begins to battle back. They brawl with each other, but Failla lands a kick to the stomach, followed by a huge DDT that the crowd cringes in seeing. Failla raises his arms high and the crowd boos in response. He picks Jew off the mat and attempts to whip him into the corner, but Jew manages to reverse it, launching him into a neutral corner. Jew follows closely behind with an outstretched arm, but Failla moves out of the way and Jew lands on the turnbuckle! Failla rushes over to his corner and tags in Solomon!

Ferrara: And here comes the champion!

Troy: This is definitely not the first time these two have met!

Solomon climbs into the ring and meets GI Jew, staring face to face with him for several moments. Suddenly they break out into a battle, blasting each other in the face with fists. Solomon manages to gain the momentum and mows down GI Jew with a running clothesline. He beckons Jew to get back to his feet, and when Jew reaches a knee, Solomon closes in. However, Jew shoves Solomon backwards into the ropes and bolts forward, connecting with a horrific Gore! The crowd comes to their feet chanting, "GORE! GORE! GORE!" Before Solomon can get back to his feet, Jew moves back to his corner to tag Calysto back into the match!

Ferrara: Why are these people chanting?! It's gotta take a lot more than that to keep Solomon down!

Troy: It's the beginning of the end, Paul, and Calysto is in there to wrap it up!

Calysto flies into the ring and capitalizes as Solomon is still on the mat and locks in the champion with the Crossface! The fans are blowing the roof off of the arena as Solomon shouts out in pain! He raises his arm!

Troy: He's gonna tap! He's gonna tap!

Failla enters the ring to try and break up the count, but Jew rushes into the ring to stop him! The referee tries to get in between the two to get out of the ring, but they inadvertently stampede over the referee. Failla manages to clothesline Jew out of the ring, and seeing the referee down, he leaves the ring himself to grab a chair. Calysto continues to wrench the Crossface on Solomon, who refuses to tap out. Failla moves over to Jew, who is recovering on the outside, and cracks him over the skull with the chair. The crowd boos as Jew falls against the ground.

Troy: Failla's lost it!

He slides into the ring with the chair and walks over to Calysto who is still holding the move. The crowd is warning Calysto to turn around, but it's too late as Failla smacks the chair against Calysto's spine. Calysto arches his back and rolls around on the mat, and Solomon suddenly shoots back up to his feet!

Troy: Solomon stayed in the Crossface for over a minute! How did he manage to get back up so fast?!

Ferrara: I think he's sending a message to Calysto, Troy!

Solomon effortlessly lifts Calysto over his shoulders, before sending him hurling towards the mat with a vicious Deep Freeze. The referee comes to as Solomon hooks the leg... One... Two... Three. "Hear Me" begins to play once more.

Troy: Damn that Failla! If he didn't interfere, he might've had Solomon there!

Ferrara: I'm not so sure if Calysto had a chance there, Troy! But the question is, will the result be the same at Fallen Souls?

Solomon groggily rises to his feet and raises his arm, but he too falls victim to Failla. With a chair shot to the back of the head, Solomon topples over and crumbles into the mat. The crowd doesn't know what to think at this point. Gindin is confused as well and climbs into the ring to check on his client, but Failla waffles him across the spine as well. Gindin is sprawled out against the mat as GI Jew slowly rolls himself back into the ring. Before he can get back to his feet, Failla lands another chair shot, busting Jew open and knocking him out cold this time. Failla looks at the chaos surrounding him and notices that he missed one target. For good measure, Failla plasters referee Tom Stevens with the chair. Bodies are scattered across the ring, and Failla raises the chair up high. The fans boo for this turn of events as the screen fades to black.
