CUMBERLAND COUNTY CIVIC CENTER

PORTLAND, MAINE

SEGMENT 8:  RINGSIDE:
As we return from commercial, G-Unit’s “G’d Up” instrumental version hits, and Anthony Failla makes his way to the ring to a mixture of cheers and boos.  Wasting no time, Failla grabs a microphone and heads into the ring.

Failla:  Last week, GI Jew disrespected me out here, and I don’t settle for that.  I’m sick and tired of people thinking they better than me, thinking that just cause they younger or faster or have a flashier character, then they can do whatever they want.  Well I’m here to let all of them know, GI Jew especially, that Anthony Failla ain’t a pushover.  In fact, Anthony Failla is flawless.  In CAW, I had the single most dominant title reign EVER.  There are not many people that can say that they had a career half as good as mine.  Yeah, I’ve had my injuries, I’ve missed my time.  But I’m still here in the PWA for one reason and one reason only, and that’s to climb to the top of the mountain one more time and become the PWA World Heavyweight Champion for the second time.  I will not rest until I accomplish that goal.  And GI Jew, you’re just another obstacle that I’m gonna have to cut down.  I ain’t afraid of you.  I ain’t afraid of you winning the PWA grand slam.  Been there, done that, I won the CAW grand slam.  What did you do in CAW?  That’s right.  Nothing.  You were a punk.  We fought one time in CAW.  Remember what happened?  I smoked your ass.  And I’ll do it again.  That’s why I’m calling you out.  I want you, one-on-one, at Fallen Souls.  We’re gonna settle this like men.  And after I get through beatin you all over my ring, I’m goin after the champ.

With that, “Opium of the People” by Slipknot hits the speakers and GI Jew appears at the top of the ramp with a microphone.

GI Jew:  Failla, you need to get something through your head.  This isn’t CAW anymore.  Maybe you beat the hell out of me when I was just coming up in this business, but a lot has changed in three years.  And you’ll find that out at Fallen Souls.  Because I accept your challenge.  And when we get to
Alaska in 11 days, I’ll show you exactly why you NEVER should have come back to the PWA in the first place.

With that, “Opium of the People” hits and GI Jew and Anthony Failla engage in a heated staredown as we take a commercial break.

SEGMENT 9:  MATCH 3:  PAUL DAWKINS & JACKIE BACCARO VS. SUPERSTAR SCOTT HOSEMANN & PWA PROGRESSIVE CHAMPION DARRIN GILES:
Referee:  Dan Martin

Earshot’s “Control” sounds throughout the Cumberland County Civic Center, and the crowd passionately boos Justin Schenck, as he appears from behind the curtain. Following behind him are Scott Hosemann, the Progressive Champion Darrin Giles, and the Tag Team Champions, The Naturals. Like a unified army, The Legacy move down to the squared circle and flood the ring, posing for a crowd that is anything but enthusiastic about seeing them. Finally, Schenck and The Naturals slide out of the ring and wait on the outside, just as Sevendust’s “Black” hits, bringing out the former tag champions, Paul Dawkins and Jackie Baccaro! They briefly play it up for the crowd before heading down towards the ring. Before entering it, Dawkins and Baccaro both look over to The Naturals. Dawkins motions for the belts, then he and Baccaro climb into the ring and stand across the ring from Hosemann and Giles.

Ferrara: Paul Dawkins and Jackie Baccaro will challenge The Naturals in a rematch for the Tag belts at Fallen Souls, but they need to defeat Scott Hosemann and Darrin Giles to do so.

Troy: But with Schenck and The Naturals on the outside, their chances can’t be very high.

Ferrara: Why do you say that?

Troy: ... You’re hopeless.

Giles hands his Progressive belt to the referee, and after placing it on the outside, the bell sounds. Hosemann and Dawkins opt to start things off. They meet up in the center and lock up hard, but Hosemann manages to land a kick to the gut. Dawkins doubles over, and Hosemann grabs his arm and tosses him into the ropes, following closely behind. With an outstretched arm, Hosemann clotheslines Dawkins over the top rope and to the outside. Schenck, on one end of the ring, climbs up on the apron, and the referee smells foul play. The referee begins to reprimand Schenck, and the crowd boos.

Troy: Oh no! They’re going to pull what they did last week!

Ferrara: They didn’t pull anything last week!

Troy: And you STILL disgust me!

The Naturals crowd around Dawkins on the outside. However, before they can do any damage, Dean Nash and Damien Fields storm down to the ring to offer their support! They go right after The Naturals, who catch wind of this and take their leave by jumping over the barricade! Nash and Fields give chase to the Tag Champions, and Dawkins begins stirring on the outside. Hosemann, still standing in the ring, instructs Giles to beat down on Dawkins, but Baccaro climbs into the ring and clotheslines Hosemann into the mat!

Troy: Things have evened up around here!

Ferrara: Evened up?! They had no business being out here!

Continuing his momentum, he charges into Giles and spears him in the gut through the ropes, causing Giles to tumble off the apron and to the cold floor below! Dawkins gets himself back into the ring, and he heads over to Hosemann who is writhing on the mat. Schenck is shocked, but has little time to react when Baccaro rushes over and shoves Schenck off the apron! Baccaro climbs out of the ring, allowing the referee to get back to the action. Dawkins sets up Hosemann for the
MOAB and hits it with a vile impact! He goes for the pin... One... Two... Three!

Troy: And just like that, Dawkins and Baccaro pick up the victory! They’ll go onto Fallen Souls to challenge The Naturals for the Tag Team belts!

Ferrara: This is outrageous! Didn’t you see what Nash and Fields did out there?!

“Black” hits again and Baccaro climbs back into the ring to celebrate with Dawkins. The crowd cheers them on as we fade to a commercial.

WINNERS VIA PINFALL AT

SEGMENT 10:  BACKSTAGE:

The camera is backstage, following Scott Cornelius as he catches up to Scythe, who is headed for the ring. After calling out to him, Scythe stops and turns around.

Cornelius: Scythe, I’m glad I caught up to you. You have your Hellbent rematch coming up next against Solomon for the PWA World Heavyweight Championship. I just wanted to get your feelings going into this match.

Scythe: Scott, how do you feel when someone takes something that’s yours? Answer that question, and you’ll know exactly what I’m feeling. As for me, I’m going to do something about it. I’m going out there tonight, to not only take back what’s mine, but I’m going out there to finish what I started. Tonight, I’m going to cut down Solomon.

Scythe makes his trek towards the ring again, with the camera looking on.

SEGMENT 11:  JUMBOTRON:
"Fallen Souls" by Ours hits the speakers and we see a graphic appear on the screen that reads "PWA Fallen Souls Report."  From there, the shot takes us to a backstage set and PWA reporter Ron O’Brien, who is standing in front of a backdrop featuring the Fallen Souls logo.

O’Brien:  Hello ladies and gentlemen, my name is Ron O’Brien and this is the Fallen Souls report.  On Saturday night, November 20th, the PWA will return to pay-per-view with our November pay-per-view spectacular, Fallen Souls.  The event will emanate from the Sullivan Arena in Anchorage, Alaska, and is sure to be a heated event!  With just eleven days to go until the broadcast, five matches for the show have been announced, and they are as follows:

In a match for the PWA World Heavyweight Championship, new champion Solomon defends the championship against The Iceman Jason Calysto!  However, we have just been told that if Scythe is to defeat Solomon to regain the championship next, that match will  become a triple threat encounter, for the gold!

For the International Championship, The Omega Steve Beovich will defend against Justice… but whose corner will Dee Licious be in?!

The Tag Team Championship will be on the line as The Naturals defend against two-time former champs Paul Dawkins and Jackie Baccaro!

In a rematch for the Progressive Championship, Darrin Giles defends against Dynamite Dean Nash!

The Hot Boy$ meet TFU in a tag team encounter to finally settle the long-standing score!

Showtime Damon Savage goes one-on-one with Jon Dulberg, sticking Rodney King right in the middle!

And, as we found out moments ago, Anthony Failla will meet up with GI Jew!

That’s all for this week, folks.  For the Fallen Souls report, I’m Ron O’Brien, saying see you next week!

SEGMENT 12:  MATCH 4:  PWA WORLD HEAVYWEIGHT CHAMPIONSHIP:  SOLOMON © VS. SCYTHE:
Referee:  Tom Stevens

Oasis' "F*ckin' In the Bushes" hits and the crowd immediately goes wild as The Iceman Jason Calysto makes his way down the ramp. He walks over to the announce table and takes a seat as Lee Palmer begins to introduce the participants.

Palmer: The following contest is our main event and it is scheduled for one fall for the PWA World Heavyweight Championship! Introducing first, being accompanied to the right by Walter Ginidin, from Barrow, Alaska, weighing 300 pounds, he is The Alaskan Monster and the PWA Heavyweight Champion of the Worrrrld, Solomon!

Darkseed's "Hear Me" sets the cold tone for the entrance of Solomon, who looks very prepared to complete his first televised title defense successfully. He climbs into the ring over the top rope and instantly locks eyes with Calysto at the booth, staring him down with cold intent.

Troy: Jason, in just under two weeks time, you will compete for the PWA Championship for the first time in well over a year, and it could be against this man.

Calysto: Some might call me crazy for it, but I hope it is against Solomon. Especially after what he did to me at Hellbent.

Ferrara: But this guy is 7 feet tall, 300 pounds, and the undefeated, undisputed heavyweight champion of the world!

Calysto: He's also never faced The Iceman.

Troy: Excellent point.

Palmer: And the challenger, from Simi Valley, California, weighing 254 pounds, he is The Modern Day Samurai, he is...Scyyyythe!

Linkin Park's "With You" hits and two fire cannons swirl with flames as Scythe steps out onto the stage. Making his first appearance since being carted out of Madision Square Garden, Scythe quickly sheds his entrance gear and zooms down the ramp and into the ring!

Troy: Or you could be facing this man!

Calysto: Either would be a tough opponent, but when its time to shut up and wrestle, no one does it better than The Iceman; not Solomon, not Scythe, not anyone else.

The bell rings as Scythe quickly goes after Solomon with lightning fast right hands. The champion is staggered and Scythe hits the ropes and attempts a clothesline that doesn't faze him. Scythe tries again and Solomon reels, but it takes a third one to finally send him crashing down to the mat! Scythe covers for one...two...and is launched up before Tom Stevens can reach three!

Solomon gets up and swings a right hand, but Scythe ducks under it and kicks him in the gut before connecting with a DDT! Scythe covers for another count of two and Solomon powers out yet again.

Scythe continues his assault with rapid-fire kicks to the chest that back Solomon into a corner. Scythe backs up and charges at him, but runs directly into a huge boot from the champion! Solomon catches a much needed breather as a restless Gindin grabs a steel chair from the timekeeper.

Troy: Gindin is grabbing a chair!

Ferrara: What the ---

Ferrara is cut off as Calysto quickly dumps his headset to give chase to the superagent! Gindin flees recklessly up the ramp, but not before managing to slide the chair in to Solomon as Calysto chases him out of sight.

Troy: Solomon is looking to hit Scythe with that chair!

Ferrara: So what? He'd still retain the title.

Troy: Dammit, thats right!

Solomon stalks Scythe as he gets up slowly, but he cannot react in time as Scythe jumps up and connects with a spinning kick that sends the chair hard into the forehead of Solomon, sending the champion down hard on his back and out like a light!

Scythe pushes the chair out of the ring and the crowd cheers louder than ever as he begins to make his climb up to the top rope. In doing something he was unable to do at Hellbent, Scythe dives off and completes the Diving Blade right on the chest of the champion! He covers and hooks both legs as Stevens counts one.....two...............

Troy: What the hell happened to three?!

The camera pans right to show Stevens get yanked out of the ring by a man dressed top to bottom in a deep shade of black. He rolls into the ring with the chair as Scythe gets up wondering what happened. The challenger turns around and is whacked over the head so hard that the seat of the chair completely flies off of it's backing! With his head poking through the chair, Scythe falls lifelessly down to the canvas with a sickening thud as Stevens rapidly calls for the bell.

Troy: Who the hell is this guy?!?!?!

Ferrara: I've never seen him before in my life, but that was the sickest chair shot I have ever seen!

Troy: He just cost Scythe the World Title!

Scythe's face is now in a pool of his own blood as the attacker grabs another chair and continues to wail away on the spine of the motionless samurai. An army of officials and arena security flood the ring to apprehend the mystery man, but he hops over the security wall and flees through the crowd in a rush as they stop to tend to Scythe in the ring. Even Solomon looks back from the ramp, shaking his head before turning away and making his exit as Frequency comes to a close.
