SAN DIEGO SPORTS ARENA

SAN DIEGO, CALIFORNIA

SEGMENT 9:  BACKSTAGE:

The shot cuts to the door of Jaguar's dressing room, where Scott Cornelius is with the former World Heavyweight Champion.

Cornelius: Jaguar, finally the day of your PWA Championship opportunity has come. After coming so close to earning a shot at Meltdown, but being robbed by Hollywood Mike Griffin in the finals of The Golden Ring Tourmament, you then defeated Griffin at Everlasting Epic 3 to bring you here to San Diego, where you are a short while away from facing your friend Scythe. What is on your mind at this time?

Jaguar: You're right, it has been a long road to get here. In the past few weeks, Scythe put a superkick on my grill that knocked me clean out and I got caught up outside the ring while he got pinned by Solomon, but the time for tag team mishaps is over. Tonight, it is me and Scythe, one-on-one, for the Heavyweight Championship of The World. Don't get me wrong Corny, no one in this business has more respect for Scythe than I do. I hooked him up with his big break in CAW and PWA and now he has risen to heights that I knew he could reach years ago. Hell, the guy has been like a little brother to me for years. But the time has come for his highs to end. Scythe, you've had a tremendous run at the top and I'm proud of you for that, but tonight, you have no idea what you are stepping into the ring with. I have waited for 14 months to wear the PWA Championship, and now, it's my time. You might have cut down The Machines and The Mike Tortoricis of the world, but tonight, you will realize that I truly got that fire.

Cornelius: Alright, thanks Jag. Back to you guys.

SEGMENT 10:  MATCH 6:  JONATHAN BRETT VS. ROMEO:
Referee:  Billy Vargas

Billy Vargas waits in the ring to officiate the next contest as “Quake 1” by Nine Inch Nails takes to the speakers. With nothing but boos awaiting them, Jonathan Brett and The Miracle Mike Troha make their entrance. Brett is wheeling the former World Heavyweight Champion in his wheelchair, but looks extremely focused on doing damage as Troha, who is carrying crutches in his lap, barks out orders to his big ally.

Ferrara: Look at Troha, laid up in that wheelchair defenseless, thanks to Romeo.

Troy: Troha tore his quadriceps muscle last month at Everlasting Epic in his match against Romeo, but since he got hurt in that match, he’s been hell bent on finding someone to take Romeo out while he is hurt. Can Jonathan Brett get the job done?

Ferrara: If focused, yes he can. Brett is a dangerous man.

As Brett waits in the ring, three D-bombs soar from the ceiling and explode on the stage as B.G.’s Beat-n-Azz version of “Hottest of The Hot” hits. The crowd cheers raucously as Romeo steps through the curtain and Brett looks down at the parked Troha before beckoning Romeo into the ring. “Da Playboi” wastes no time in charging down the ramp and into the ring to immediately trade punches with Brett and gains the early advantage with his big overhand rights.

Brett reels into the ropes and Romeo shoots him to the other side before knocking him out of the ring with a big shoulder tackle! The crowd pops for Romeo, but Troha continues to scream at the former International Champion, prompting Romeo to go after him. He reaches through the ropes to grab Troha from the chair, but Brett slides back into the ring to club him in the back before sending him down with a big belly-to-back suplex.

Troy: Romeo took his eyes off the action and just paid for it with that suplex.

Ferrara: And he’ll continue to pay if he can’t take his mind off Troha. He’s playing right into their hands right now.

Brett makes a cover and gets a solid count of two before picking Romeo up and tossing him into a corner. Brett outstretches his leg and jams his boot across the throat of Romeo as Billy Vargas makes him break it by the count of five. Romeo gasps for air and Brett continues that by scooping him up and dropping him face first to complete a snake eyes drop on the top turnbuckle. Romeo falls back down on the mat and the fans boo again as Brett stops to taunt them.

Brett grabs Romeo up by the shirt and gives him a hard knee to the midsection before whipping him to the ropes and scoring with a big powerslam. Brett covers again for 1----2----and Romeo kicks out before three. Troha yells for Brett to make Romeo give up and Brett tries to make that happen by locking on a sleeperhold. Brett hunkers all his weight down in the move and it appears that the move could be a choke as Vargas checks to see if Romeo will give it up.

Ferrara: It looks like Rome is fading!

Troy: But this crowd won’t let him quit. He’s getting to his feet!

Romeo gets to his feet and elbows Brett in the gut three times to break the hold. He runs to the ropes, but heads back into Brett’s grip as he executes an impressive military press above his head. But before he can deliver a slam, Romeo slips behind Brett and lifts him up before planting him with a reverse Death Valley Driver! Romeo gets up as Brett writhes on the mat and he adjusts his trademark black bandana to a big roar from the crowd.

Troy: He moved the bandana, which means its time for Dre Day!

Romeo gets behind Brett, who takes some time in getting up. Vargas also has his eyes on Brett, so neither man sees Troha struggle to rise from his wheelchair and swing a crutch towards the ring, nailing Romeo in the back of the head! Troha howls in pain from the swing, but it appears to be worth it as Romeo falls to the canvas and he hurries back to his chair.

Troy: Did you see that?! Troha just hit Romeo with that damn crutch!

Ferrara: What? My monitor got a little fuzzy. Besides, Troha can’t walk.

Troy: He was close enough to not have to Paul; you saw that!

Romeo struggles to get up, but once he does, Brett is waiting to scoop him up and drill him with a Samoan Driver! Brett makes a cover and hooks both legs for the 1,2,3!

Ferrara: He got it done!

Troy: Jonathan Brett just stole this match; that’s what he did!

Ferrara: Well he looks like he’s not done!

“Quake 1” replays and Brett gets up and is ready to leave the ring, but Troha uses one crutch to lean on while he slides the other into the ring. He yells for Brett to choke Romeo out with it and a sick grin comes across Brett’s face as he turns the crutch upside down and jams it into the throat of “Da Playboi”!

Troy: He’s gonna choke him out like that’ somebody get this guy off! He’s crazy!

Ferrara: Troha and Brett have both lost it here!

Romeo kicks violently as he is being choked and Brett refuses to let go until he is pried off by scores of PWA officials. Brett stands over a motionless Romeo and holds the crutch high as the San Diego crowd boos him and The Miracle out of the building.

WINNER VIA PINFALL AT 9:02:  JONATHAN BRETT

SEGMENT 11:  MATCH 7:  PWA TAG TEAM CHAMPIONSHIP:  PAUL DAWKINS & JACKIE BACCARO © VS. TFU:
Referee:  Jose Soares

After Romeo is helped from the ring, Jose Soares runs down the ramp and back into the ring to officiate the Tag Team Championship match as Ill Nino’s “Have You Ever Felt” begins. The booing of the evening continues as Lauren Tantalus leads her brother Smooth Greg Tantalus and Hollywood Mike Griffin down to the ring. TFU looks intent on capturing their third PWA Tag Team Titles as a a tandem and their smug looks of confidence show that they can get the job done.

Ferrara: These two men are both former World Heavyweight Champions and one of the greatest teams of all-time. Dawkins and Baccaro are the tag team of the year and they have been great, but this is TFU. I’ve got a feeling that we’re going to see new tag champs tonight.

Troy: With the way they have out cheated the champions lately, they very well could leave here with the belts.

“Black” by Sevendust hits next and the cheers of the crowd come in droves as Paul Dawkins and Jackie Baccaro make their entrance.

The Tag Team Champions quickly get into the ring and hand their titles over, eager to start things. The match begins with Dawkins squaring off against Tantalus. The lock up and the much shorter Tantalus quickly goes behind Dawkins to take him down with a leg trip. The Smooth one floats over on Dawkins and slaps the back of his head three times, infuriating the former Air Force serviceman.

Troy: I don’t think that was a smart move.

Ferrara: And that’s why you’re a moron. How many times must Greg Tantalus show that he is the best psychological wrestler in the world today? He knows how to get into somebody’s head and he’s showing that to Dawkins right now.

Baccaro calms his partner down with a tag to his back and enters the ring to square off against Tantalus. They lock up and Tantalus hits a sharp knee to the midsection before backing Baccaro up with a European uppercut to the chin. He jacks Baccaro’s jaw again and tries to whip him into the ropes, but the whip is reversed and Baccaro sends him down with a clothesline. Tantalus gets to his feet and gets sent right back down after another clothesline, prompting him to make it over to his corner and bring in Griffin.

Griffin goes to lock up with Baccaro, but fakes it to hit a kick to the midsection. He follows up with another and then sends Baccaro to the mat with a swinging neckbreaker. Griffin covers for one…two...and Baccaro powers out easily. Both men get up and Baccaro takes a swing at Griffin, but the crafty Hollywood ducks it and uses Baccaro’s momentum against him to nail a German suplex! Without releasing his grip, Griffin sends him on his head with another suplex before following up with a third. Griffin nips up to his feet and poses for the crowd, who respond by booing him incessantly.

Griffin attempts a cover for a two count and then goes to wear Baccaro down with a bow and arrow. Baccaro grimaces in pain as Griffin pulls his arms further and further behind his back The crowd begins to chant for the champion, who pumps his arms as Griffin tries to wrench back even more. Baccaro begins to bring his arms closer and closer together and Griffin feels the grip slipping, so he gets up and plants a knee right between Baccaro’s shoulder blades!

Troy: What a vicious move by Hollywood Mike Griffin. Baccaro is in serious trouble here.

Griffin tags Tantalus back in and he backs Baccaro into a neutral corner and pounds him down into the ground. Baccaro’s head is backed against the bottom turnbuckle and Tantalus issues the ultimate insult by backing and charging at him to give him The Teabag!

Troy: Look at this crap from Greg Tantalus!

Ferrara: He’s punking this guy out big time!

The camera cuts away to Lauren Tantalus, who is laughing hysterically at The Teabag, but the next shot shows Griffin looking off into the crowd. Greg Tantalus is also laughing as Dawkins looks for a necessary tag, but Griffin quickly hops off the ring apron and begins heading towards the front row.

Troy: What the hell is he doing?!

Ferrara: Hey look in the crowd Troy. That’s Steven Spielberg!

Troy: Say what?!

Ferrara: Steven Spielberg, the infamous Hollywood director is here at Walking Wounded! We are mighty close to Hollywood, you know.

Griffin shakes hands with Spielberg and begins to chat it up, knowing Tantalus has the match well in hand. He tries another Teabag, but jumps right into the boot of The Rookie of The Year! Baccaro rolls out of the corner and makes the tag to Dawkins, who enters the ring and tears into Tantalus with a barrage of punches to the head!

Troy: I bet he wishes he didn’t slap Paul Dawkins now!

Dawkins beats Tantalus down in the corner until Soares breaks it up, but Griffin is nowhere to be found! The shot cuts back to Griffin, who is now showing a laughing Spielberg a variation of his Culmination finishing hold. As they continue to ham it up, Dawkins makes a tag to Baccaro and whips Tantalus into the corner. Dawkins rushes forward and smashes Tantalus with a Stinger Splash before Baccaro hits the ropes and obliterates him with his running forearm to the head!

Ferrara: Get the hell in the ring Mike!

Lauren Tantalus screams for Griffin to return, but it is too late as Baccaro covers Greg Tantalus for a count of 1----2----3! “Black” replays and the champions celebrate with their titles as a completely shocked Griffin hurries back into the ring.

Ferrara: Oh this isn’t good. This isn’t good at all.

Troy: Mike Griffin was so caught up in talking about his movie career that he hung Greg out to dry!

Ferrara: That’s not totally how it happened Troy; don’t start anything!

Griffin tries to help his partner to his feet, but Tantalus shoves him backwards as he screams, holding the side of his head from Baccaro’s impact. Lauren tries to get in between the two, but Greg Tantalus is absolutely incensed as the shot cuts away from the ring.

WINNERS VIA PINFALL AT 18:38 AND STILL TAG TEAM CHAMPIONS:  PAUL DAWKINS & JACKIE BACCARO

SEGMENT 12:  BACKSTAGE:
Moments before the title defense of the PWA World Heavyweight Championship, Traci Reed interviews Scythe as they stand in front of a back drop for Walking Wounded.

Reed: Scythe, you are only minutes away from stepping into the ring with a three time champion, Jaguar. You've been strong with your title reign ever since you won the title at the Symphony of Destruction, but tonight, you have to face one of your greatest challenges in the form of your friend, Jaguar. Is there anything you'd like to say before you enter the ring tonight?

Scythe: Jaguar... No, James and I have been great friends. We've seen each other through some tough times, and we've made it a point to look out for each other. He said something earlier tonight. He said that he looked at me like a little brother. And you know something? I do look at him like family, because he's been there for me and I've been there for him. But there comes a time when you've gotta fight your own battles. It's easier to realize that when you're holding this belt, because that means that no one can fight your battles for you except yourself. I've gotta out there tonight, and I''vem gotta show Jaguar that when I have to, I can stand on my own two feet. When I have to, I can swing my own sword. And tonight, this blade will cut down Jaguar.

Reed: Strong words from the Champion. Scythe, good luck.

SEGMENT 13:  JUMBOTRON:

An extensive video package airs, highlighting the upcoming PWA World Heavyweight Championship between the champion Scythe and challenger Jaguar.  Their long history as friends is played up, as are the recent tensions between them, Scythe’s meteoric rise to the top of the PWA, and Jaguar’s quest to regain the gold.

SEGMENT 14:  MATCH 8:  PWA WORLD HEAVYWEIGHT CHAMPIONSHIP:  SCYTHE © VS. JAGUAR:
Referee:  Tom Stevens

The bell rings three times as the focus shifts to ring announcer Lee Palmer.

Palmer: Ladies and gentlemen, the following contest is scheduled for one fall and it is for the PWA World Heavyweight Championship!

“I Got That Fire” by Juvenile and Mannie Fresh begins, sparking a huge ovation as Palmer speaks again.

Palmer: Introducing first, the challenger. Making his way to the ring from Jacksonville, Florida, weighing 242 pounds, this….is….Jaaaaag-uarrrrr!

Jaguar steps out to a thunderous ovation and points out to the crowd before throwing his arms up to summon his blaze of flaming fireworks. He makes his way down the ramp with his head slightly dripping of water used to keep him cool as he prepares for battle. He poses on all four turnbuckles and bounces off the ring ropes as his music stops and Linkin Park’s “With You” takes over.

Palmer: And his opponent, from Simi Valley, California, weighing 254 pounds, he is The Modern-Day Samurai and the PWA Heavyweight Champion of the Worlllllllld, he is…..Scyyyyythe!

Scythe steps out to an immense roar from the crowd, and his legion of fans bring the champion to the ring amidst two infernos from his fire cannons igniting behind him. Scythe steps through the ropes and sheds his entrance garb before unhooking his title belt and hoisting it high on the turnbuckles for all his fellow Californians, as well as Jaguar, to see. Scythe also poses for the crowd before forking the belt over to senior referee Tom Stevens, who holds the title high before calling for the bell to get the match underway.

Troy: Earlier we heard Scott Cornelius and Tracie Reed recap the events leading up to this match. Jaguar was beaten by GI Jew under shady terms at Meltdown, costing him a shot at the title at Everlasting Epic 3. He then beat Mike Griffin to become the number one contender and is facing his friend Scythe, right here and right now for the championship.

Ferrara: These two guys have only met once, and that was at a live event in Philadelphia this past July. Scythe defended the title, but didn’t beat Jaguar because they went to a 60-minute time limit draw. Now Scythe enters this match as the longest reigning PWA Champion of all-time, a little over two weeks longer than previous holder Mike Tortorici, but against a guy that he has never beaten in Jaguar. This one is too close to call for me Troy.

The camera pans back to a wide shot, showing the two longtime friends staring at one another as the crowd breaks out into strong chants of “Scythe! Scythe! Scythe!” There is a smattering of vociferous cheers for Jaguar, but they pale in comparison to those of the champion.

Troy: Listen to these cheers for Scythe; Jaguar doesn’t look that comfortable in there. He’s usually the one with the crowd on his side, but San Diego is just 100 miles from Scythe’s hometown and he’s got tons of fans here. What Jaguar needs to do is focus on the task at hand and keep the crowd distant.

Ferrara: Look at this. Two ugly people staring at each other. That’s great.

Troy: Will you stop?!

Jaguar and Scythe nod to each other and the fans pop as they circle the ring and finally lock up in the center. Jaguar gains position first, but Scythe quickly takes over and muscles him back into a corner. Stevens calls for a clean break and Scythe gives one before they lock up again. Jaguar presses hard, but Scythe once again manages to force him backward against the turnbuckles. After another clean break, Jaguar looks a bit flustered and charges from the corner, only to be taken down by a swift Scythe armdrag!

Scythe holds the move into an armbar and twists the arm before dropping an elbow on it, causing Jaguar to clutch his arm. Scythe Irish whips Jaguar to the ropes and waits till he bounces off to send him down with a big double hand chop to the chest. Scythe makes the first cover of the match, seeing Jaguar kick out shortly after one count.

Scythe gets off the canvas and gets Jaguar up, but he takes his eyes off the ball as Jaguar gets low and bum rushes him back into a corner. Jaguar follows up with three hard shoulder thrusts to the midsection and shoots Scythe out to an opposite corner before following up with a big clothesline to bring some cheers out from his fans in the crowd. Scythe stumbles out of the corner and Jaguar hooks him up before executing a big vertical suplex. Jaguar floats over into a pin for one…two…and a kickout by Scythe. Jaguar grabs Scythe by the hair before scooping him up and planting him with a bodyslam. Scythe barely lands before Jaguar backs into the corner and takes a few steps out a puts a knee drop right across his forehead!

Troy: What a kneedrop to the head of Scythe! Jag should cover him here.

Ferrara: Jaguar knows Scythe won’t stay down that easily. It looks like he wants to do some more damage now.

Scythe holds his head for some time, leaving his lower half open as Jaguar grabs his right leg and kicks the back of his thigh. Jaguar repeats and Scythe winces in pain as the challenger tries to create a Charley Horse in his leg. Scythe struggles to get up, but Jaguar plants a knee on his thigh and tugs on Scythe’s lower leg to try and wear him down.

Troy: Jaguar doesn’t take this approach much, but right now, he is completely outwrestling the World Champion.

Ferrara: He might be a brawler because he’s comfortable with that, but this guy can wrestle. I think Scythe underestimated him in that area.

Jaguar pulls on Scythe’s leg, causing the champion to grimace as Jaguar continues to drive all 242 of his pounds atop his limb. Scythe takes the first swing of the match and misses as Jaguar ducks away and pulls even harder. Scythe pounds the mat in anguish and the crowd gets behind him, cheering for his escape. Jaguar looks out to the now pro-Scythe fans and digs even deeper, but he ducks his head too low and Scythe escapes the hold by turning it into a cradle! Stevens counts one…two…and Jaguar barely makes an escape!

Troy: Scythe almost had him there!

Ferrara: But his leg has been severely weakened Troy. It’ll be tough for the champ to rebound.

Jaguar rolls out and Scythe hops to his feet, but he’s sent right back to the mat as Jaguar dives at his legs to take him out with a chopblock! Scythe’s fans boo, but Jaguar’s part of the crowd cheers as he further attacks Scythe’s limb with a single leg Boston Crab! Stevens asks Scythe if he wants to give it up, but he refuses as Jaguar wrenches back on the hold. Scythe digs deep and sweat drips from Jaguar’s head as the champion pounds the mat and pushes up off it to try and escape by reaching the ropes, but Jaguar feels his grip loosening and puts things further out of reach by turning the crab into a step-over crossface!

Ferrara: That’s Jaguar’s STF! He used to put plenty of guys away with that move years ago; this one could end right now!

Troy: Scythe might give it up here!

Stevens asks Scythe if he wants to give up the title, but he refuses and tries to inch towards the ropes. Jaguar pulls tighter, but the cheers of the crowd bring Scythe closer and closer to the ropes. Jaguar tugs even more and Scythe hits the mat twice, prompting Jaguar to release the hold as Scythe grabs the bottom rope!

Ferrara: Scythe just tapped out! We’ve got a new champion Troy!

Troy: What?! He got the rope!

Jaguar turns away and throws his arms into the air, feeling he has become the new champion. However, Stevens rushes over to tell him that Scythe reached the rope.

Ferrara: What’s going on? It looked like Scythe tapped.

Troy: He just hit the mat and grabbed the rope. He didn’t quit Paul.

Ferrara: Oh, that’s a little too close for comfort if you’re Jaguar.

Jaguar pleads with Stevens that he is the winner, but the senior official tells him that Scythe did not tap out and did reach the rope. Jaguar concedes his case and goes to work on Scythe, but the champion had ample time to recover and lays Jag out with a superkick right on the jaw!

Troy: That’s the same superkick that knocked Jaguar out three weeks ago!

Ferrara: The way he hit it, I think he’s out again!

Scythe falls down to the mat and takes a bit of time in making a cover, but he drapes an arm across Jaguar’s chest for a count of one……two…..thr-and Jaguar gets a shoulder up in the nick of time! Scythe gets to his feet rather quickly and pounds his chest, making the crowd cheer as they see he’s gained his second wind!

Scythe gets Jaguar off the canvas and smacks his chest with a hard reverse knife-edge chop! Jaguar comes back with one of his own and Scythe follows up with another, all bringing Ric Flair “Whooos” from the fans. Jaguar comes back with another, but Scythe lands a heavy chop, backing Jag into the ropes. Scythe grabs him by the collar and tears his shirt in half before shooting him to the ropes and downing Jag with a double hand chop that is sure to turn his dark skin bright red!

Jaguar rolls onto his stomach on the mat to quell another Scythe chop, but he doesn’t see Scythe head out of the ring and up to the top rope. Jaguar gets to his knees and finally his feet as Scythe soars off the top rope to connect with a Steamboat flying body press! They land hard on the canvas, but Jaguar uses the momentum to turn it into a cover for one….two….thre-but Scythe kicks out!

Both men reach their feet and finally begin to trade punches in the middle of the ring. Jaguar backs Scythe up with a huge taped right hand and tries to plant him with Version 1.0, but Scythe floats over and connects with a Flying Dragon in the middle of the ring!

Troy: Flying Dragon Slam from the champion!

Ferrara: But he didn’t get all of it. He’s working on one leg right now; remember that.

Scythe drags Jaguar over to the corner and begins to climb up the ropes for The Diving Blade. The fans cheer the champion, obviously slowed by Jaguar’s assault on his leg earlier in the match, as he climbs up the turnbuckles. Scythe reaches the top, but he takes too long as Jaguar gets up and lunges forward, pushing him off the top rope and right into the security wall outside the ring!

Troy: Oh my God! What a landing for Scythe!

Ferrara: If titles could change hands on count outs, it would right here, because Scythe isn’t getting up from that.

Jaguar falls on his back inside the ring as Scythe is motionless on the outside. Stevens begins a slow count, but neither man moves. He counts 1---2---3---4---5---6---7---8---9, but Jaguar grabs his arm in the air to stop him from reaching ten! Stevens scolds the Hot Boy, who ignores it as he rolls to the outside to lift up the motionless Scythe. Jaguar lifts him up and rolls the champion into the ring to break another count from Stevens. Jaguar pulls himself up onto the ring apron and Scythe still hasn’t moved, so he climbs up to the top rope. Jaguar gains his balance on the top rope and jumps off, making flashbulbs explode as he connects with a Suga Splash on the prone Scythe! Jaguar covers and hooks the far leg as Stevens counts one….two….thre-but Scythe kicks out again!

Ferrara: You cannot be serious!

Troy: Jaguar just hit his finishing splash square on the button and Scythe kicked out!

Jaguar slams the mat in frustration and a very mixed reaction comes as he puts a thumb up and then turns it down to signal for The Pedigree.

Troy: Jaguar is looking for The Pedigree here!

Ferrara: He’s pulling all his old moves out to get this win here!

Jaguar lifts Scythe up and kicks him in the midsection before placing his head face down between his legs. He butterflies Scythe’s arms behind his back, but Scythe immediately breaks his grip and pushes forward to roll Jaguar up! Stevens gets into a position and counts, 1-----2------and Jaguar gets up at 2.9! Both men are slow getting up, but Scythe rises first. He tries to land another superkick, but Jaguar scouts it and swats his leg away before scooping him up and landing a desperate Carrjack from nowhere, making half the crowd explode with cheers as the others cringe with fear!

Troy: Carrjack! That’s gotta be it!

Jaguar collapses atop Scythe with his back on the champion as he hooks the near leg. Stevens gets into position and counts one………….two…………three-but not before Scythe gets a boot on the bottom rope!

Troy: He reached the rope!

Ferrara: You have got to be kidding me! This guy isn’t human!

A big ovation comes as Jaguar gets up, amazed that he has still not put Scythe away. Scythe seeks refuge in a corner as Jaguar angrily pulls off his ripped shirt, revealing a slightly bloody chest from Scythe’s chops. He picks Scythe up in the corner and grabs him by the hair before pounding away over and over and over with taped right hands to the head of the champion. Most of the San Diego crowd boos Jaguar’s aggression and the challenger violently whips Scythe into the opposite corner. Jaguar runs at Scythe, but the champion moves and he hits the corner hard! Jaguar stumbles backwards and Scythe grabs him before plating him with a thunderous reverse DDT! With the crowd roaring, Scythe begins to climb up again!

Troy: He’s going up for another Diving Blade attempt!

Ferrara: That’s gotta do it!

Scythe gets to the top rope and the same camera flash again as he jumps off and nails his moonsault with an impact so big that it knocks him off of Jaguar! Scythe crawls over and puts an arm across Jaguar again as Stevens begins his count. One…….two……thre-Jaguar gets his free shoulder up!

Troy: What?! Jaguar just kicked out of The Diving Blade! This is unreal!

Ferrara: Neither of these guys is willing to lose this match!

Troy: It’s all about the title!

Scythe moves his hair out of his eyes, showing a look of total disbelief on his face as he stands up, clearly not sure of what to do next. Scythe gets Jaguar off the mat and whips him to the ropes again. He ducks his head for a back body drop, but Jag stops short and uses all of his remaining energy to lift him up and blast Scythe with Version 1.0 of The Carrjack!

Troy: Version 1.0! That’s Jaguar’s first variation of The Carrjack and if he can make a cover, it will bring him his fourth PWA Championship!

Ferrara: Scythe is so far gone right now. I’d love to say that it will, but the way this has gone, who can be sure?!

Jaguar crawls atop the champion again and Stevens counts one……..two…….thre-and now Scythe gets an arm up yet again!

Ferrara: I give up Troy!

Troy: I don’t even know what to say.

Jaguar just shakes his head and wipes his brow as his friend simply refuses to give in. He pulls himself up with the use of the ropes and another big mixed pop comes as he makes the signal for a second Carrjack. Scythe’s body is limp and defenseless as Jaguar grabs him by the hair and gets him into position for the body-compressing slam. He lifts Scythe up and drives him down, but Scythe manages to turn it into a modified crucifix and Stevens counts one…….two…….three!

Troy: That’s it! Scythe has done it!

Ferrara: What?! The moment I blink my eyes, it’s over!

Troy: Scythe has just countered The Carrjack, and he has retained the PWA Title!

Ferrara: I don’t even think he realizes he won!

The bell rings and “With You” hits again, but Scythe is flat on his back, exhausted from his victory. Jaguar is on his knees looking up at Stevens, who holds three fingers up to show Scythe’s win is legit. Jaguar pounds the mat as the referee reaches out to grab the belt from the timekeeper, but when Stevens turns around, Jaguar snatches the title and shoves him down!

Troy: What the hell was that for?!

The music stops and Stevens looks up at the defeated Jaguar, who is almost shaking uncontrollably with anger. The official quickly exits the ring and Jaguar stares at the gold before turning his attention to Scythe, who is struggling to get up. Jaguar bends his knees and clutches the belt behind Scythe, who is still trying to rise.

Troy: (Quietly) Wait a second. He’s not possibly thinking about…

Ferrara: Jaguar isn’t in his right mind Troy. He just battled for 35 minutes and lost after he knows The Carrjack would have put Scythe away.

Troy: But these two are like best friends. Don’t tell me Jaguar is about to do what he’s about to do.

Scythe pulls himself up using the ropes and Jaguar begins to swing the belt, but suddenly stops…and hands the title to Scythe! Scythe looks at Jaguar and then the belt before graciously taking back his gold and embracing his friend to a thunderous ovation!

Troy: There ya go! What a class act these two men are!

Ferrara: Oh come on Jaguar, you should have laid him out dummy! I would have put the title right between his eyes!

Troy: We know you would have. Thanks to you guys out there for joining us this evening. What a match this was. Whew. For Paul Ferrara, I’m Victor Troy, saying goodnight everybody!

“With You” hits again and fireworks pop above the ring as Jaguar raises Scythe’s arm for all of his hometown fans to cheer. Jaguar exits the ring to a loud ovation and Scythe climbs up on the turnbuckles to hold his title in the air once again as Walking Wounded comes to an amazing end.

WINNER VIA PINFALL AT 34:44 AND STILL PWA CHAMPION:  SCYTHE
