KEMPER ARENA

KANSAS CITY, MISSOURI

SEGMENT 1:  INTRODUCTION:

A video package airs, highlighting events that concluded last week's broadcast, with the PWA Champion Scythe and Jaguar, his Walking Wounded challenger, engaging in a tense interview segment.  From there, Linkin Park's "By_Myslf" hits and we are sent inside the Kemper Arena in Kansas City, Missouri, where an amazing fireworks display ensues and we are sent to our commentators Victor Troy and Paul Ferrara at ringside.

Troy:  Hello everyone and welcome to PWA Frequency!  I'm Victor Troy, along here with Paul Ferrara, and tonight, we have a HUGE main event to bring you!

Ferrara:  That’s right Troy, and it’s a match that I can’t believe we’re gonna see here on Frequency!  Tonight, in that very ring, it’s gonna be Jaguar one-on-one with the Alaskan Monster Solomon!

Troy:  It certainly figures to be an unbelievable matchup, and just 11 days away from Walking Wounded, this match could have a profound effect on both men’s chances of winning their respective matches.

Ferrara:  Sure could.

Troy:  Also tonight, Camieko puts the Women’s Championship up for grabs against Liz Rush, Speed Demon teams with Romeo and The Omega Steve Beovich to meet Jonathan Brett, Jon Dulberg, and the International Champion Mike Grieco, and this match!  It’s
Hollywood Mike Griffin up against one half of the Tag Team Champions, Paul Dawkins, and it’s right now!

Ferrara:  Nice!

SEGMENT 2:  MATCH 1:  HOLLYWOOD MIKE GRIFFIN VS. PAUL DAWKINS:
Referee:  Matt Hansen

We head up to the ring where Lee Palmer and Matt Hansen are waiting as Tool's "Parabola" begins.

Palmer: The opening contest is scheduled for one fall! Introducing first, being accompanied to the ring by Greg and Lauren Tantalus, from Hollywood, California, weighing 189 pounds, Hollywoooood Miiiiiike Griffinnnnn!

Griffin leads the trio through the curtain and into the arena, where they are greeted with hoards of boos. He stops to pose for the crowd and throws his arms into the air as his red, white, and blue fireworks shoot up behind him before making his way down the ramp and into the ring. He takes off his elaborate, long white robe as Sevendust's "Black" hits next.

Palmer: And his opponent, being accompanied to the ring by Jackie Baccaro, from South Philadelphia, weighing 247 pounds, Paullll Dawkins!

Dawkins and Baccaro arrive to a highly favorable pop from the fans and Dawkins wastes no time in marching down the ramp and sliding into the ring.

Troy: Dawkins is jumpstarting this thing early!

The move proves to be a mistake as Griffin uses his quickness to stomp away on Dawkins, preventing him from getting to his feet. Hansen tries to stop Griffin, allowing Dawkins to get back up and fire back with overhand rights. Griffin backs into the ropes and Dawkins tosses him to the opposite end before taking control with a big powerslam!

Dawkins covers, but only gets a two count before lifting Griffin off the canvas. He holds Griffin up for a bodyslam, but Griffin floats over and behind Dawkins, locking his hands around his waist before delivering the first of three German suplexes.

Troy: Dawkins is a big guy, I didn't think Griffin could get him up for all three of those.

Ferrara: Mike Griffin has delivered that move to much bigger men than Dawkins, don't let his height fool you. Pound-for-pound, Griffin is one of the strongest men in the PWA.

Griffin goes outside the ring to the top rope, but Dawkins recovers quickly and hits his boot, straddling him across the top turnbuckle. Dawkins goes up to the middle rope and hooks Griffin up for a superplex, but his foot is grabbed from behind by Lauren Tantalus!

Troy: Hey, she's got him by the boot!

Ferrara: Can't suplex Griffin that way!

Jackie Baccaro rushes around to try and stop Lauren, but as he does so, Hansen turns his back to the ring, where Greg Tantalus sneaks in and crushes a chair right across Dawkins' back!

Dawkins crashes to the mat and Tantalus quickly exits the ring as Griffin turns around and nails his Diving Moonsault! He makes a cover and Hansen counts to an academic three.

Troy: TFU has just stolen this match thanks to Lauren Tantalus!

Ferrara: Well three heads are better than two Troy.

"Parabola" hits and Griffin is announced as the victor. Baccaro angrily enters the ring, but Griffin slides out and TFU escapes to the back before any harm can be done.

Troy: Let's just see if TFU can beat Dawkins and Baccaro without having to cheat to win!

Ferrara: We'll find out at Walking Wounded.

Troy: They make me sick. We'll be right back folks.

WINNER VIA PINFALL AT 14:21:  HOLLYWOOD MIKE GRIFFIN

SEGMENT 3:  BACKSTAGE:
The camera is settled in Conroy's office, where he and Kerry Cox are conversing. The crowd pops at the sight of this. A knock is heard and Cox answers the door, only to have Justin Schenck briskly walk past Cox. Immediately, the crowd is throwing jeers.

Cox: (Sarcastically) ... Please come in.

Schenck: Mister Conroy, how good to see you!

Conroy: And I was having such a good day...

Schenck: Well, it's only going to get better! I came here to offer you a proposition! The PWA can always use some young blood and fresh talent. That's why I'm going to introduce you to the next PWA superstar!

Schenck gestures to the door of the office, and in walks a man that the audience recognizes from last week. Their heckling continues.

Schenck: This is Darrin Giles from NYCW. He'll be a great asset if you give him a contract to the PWA! Look at him! He's six feet tall, 220 pounds, and he's already demonstrated his power to all of us.

Cox: You mean by attacking Damien Fields last week?

Schenck: Exactly! Well... What I mean to say is...

Conroy: Give me one good reason why I shouldn't call security right now.

Schenck: Because this man has paid his dues! And besides, with all the hard work that I've done around here, you can just consider this a personal favor to me.

An awkward silence overtakes the office, until Conroy and Cox burst into uncontrollable laughter. The smile is wiped off Schenck's face, and Giles doesn't look too pleased either. Conroy is laughing so hard that he's wiping his eyes.

Conroy: P-personal favahahahahah... Oh man, thanks for the laugh...

Justin: So... About that contract.

Conroy: Kerry, what do you think?

Cox: Well, he does have talent, but we can't just give him a contract. He'd have to earn it.

Conroy: I agree. Alright Giles, listen up. You'll have your PWA contract on one condition. You'll have to earn it by winning your match... tonight. It's going to be Darrin Giles against... Damien Fields. If you beat Fields tonight, you too will enter the PWA. I suggest you get yourself ready.

Schenck: You won't be sorry. Let's go, Giles.

Giles nods and pounds his fists together, leaving the room with Justin Schenck. Cox closes the door after they leave and looks back to Conroy. They both share another laugh.

 SEGMENT 4:  BACKSTAGE:

The scene is switched to another part of the backstage area. The camera pans the hallway, and settles on Justice and Speed Demon, who are speaking to one another.

Justice: You've got a big match tonight. You're going to be teaming up with Romeo and Steve Beovich in a six-man tag match against Jonathan Brett, Mike Grieco, and Jon Dulberg. Are you ready?

Speed Demon is silent and appears to be lost in thought.

Justice: Did you hear me?

Demon: ... What?

Justice: Your match is coming up next. You need to be focused, man.

Demon: Yeah, I know. It's just that I can't really go into a match and not expect Reaper to be out there and give me help that I didn't ask for.

Justice: What's that all about, anyway? For the past few weeks he's been getting involved in your matches.

Demon: I don't know. It's just... Hey!

Speed Demon rushes off down the hall and the camera follows him. It focuses on Reaper, who is exiting his dressing room. The camera catches up to them.

Demon: We need to talk. Why are you getting in my matches lately?

Reaper: ... The darkness.

Demon: What?

Reaper: The darkness consumes all of us... But we are the ones who can embrace it.

Demon: What are you talking about?

Reaper does not say another word; he merely smirks and walks away. The camera closes in on Demon's confused face as Justice catches up.

Justice: I don't know what that was about, but come on. You've got a match.

Demon: Yeah...

The scene fades as we head to a commercial.

SEGMENT 5:  MATCH 2:  PWA INTERNATIONAL CHAMPION MIKE GRIECO, JONATHAN BRETT, AND JON DULBERG VS. ROMEO, SPEED DEMON, AND THE OMEGA STEVE BEOVICH:
Referee:  Jason Church

The sounds of "Quake 1" by Nine Inch Nails allow Jonathan Brett to enter the arena. He walks through the curtain and is wheeling Mike Troha to the ring. While the majority of the crowd is booing, there is some laughing and pointing at the sight of Troha. As usual, he pays them no mind as he is brought to ringside. Brett climbs into the ring before "Come With Me" by P. Diddy featuring Jimmy Page hits, and the jeers continue for Jon Dulberg. He opens his arms wide as if he were expecting a welcome greeting, but it's obvious that he does not receive it. Dulberg climbs into the ring and poses as his music dies down, and the worst reception greets the International Champion, Mike Grieco. He walks down the ramp to 50 Cent's "Da Repercussions" and holds his belt high once he enters the ring. Grieco hands his belt over to the referee and the three await their opponents.

Troy: This is a huge match. It's a six-man tag with all of Walking Wounded's participants battling in it.

Ferrara: And even more than that, they're all Walking Wounded opponents! There's going to be a lot of tension in that ring tonight, Troy.

White Zombie's "More Human Than Human" explodes and out walks Steve Beovich. He keeps his eyes locked on Dulberg as the crowd cheers for him. Beovich waits at the bottom of the ramp, and the Beat-n-Azz Remix  of "Hottest Of The Hot" by B.G. hits and the audience grows louder in cheers for Romeo. He moves down the ramp and also stands at the foot of the ring, noticing that Troha is sitting off to the side. Romeo begins mouthing off with Troha and starts moving towards him, but Jonathan Brett slides out of the ring and ambushes Romeo! Dulberg takes the opportunity to rush out of the ring and battle with Beovich. Before Grieco can react, "Want" by The Cure plays and Speed Demon darts down the aisle to join in on the chaos. He rushes passed the two battling groups and rolls into the ring, going right for Grieco! The bell rings!

Troy: The match has only started and there's complete chaos here!

Grieco looks prepared to fend off the attack, but Speed Demon quickly maneuvers behind Grieco. Just as Demon gets an arm around Grieco, he is whipped onto the mat with an arm drag. Demon keeps up the pace and rolls to his feet. He lunges at Grieco with an outstretched arm, knocking down the International Champion. Meanwhile, the referee manages to break up the battles occurring outside of the ring. Brett and Dulberg begrudgingly move back to their side, while Romeo and Beovich do the same. Back in the ring, Grieco quickly rises but Demon leaps in the air and plants both feet on Grieco's chest, sending him back into the canvas.

Troy: Fast exchange in the early goings of this match, and we finally have some order in here.

Ferrara: And it's all business here tonight. Right now, these two will be having their own battle at Walking Wounded for the International Championship.

Demon picks up Grieco, but Grieco breaks free and kicks Demon in the gut, then whips him into the corner. Demon hits the turnbuckle hard and bounces back, and Grieco spins him around to deliver a spinebuster. With Demon clutching his back on the mat, Grieco goes to his corner and tags in Dulberg. The Human Highlight goes after Demon and stomps on him while he's still on the mat. Dulberg picks up Demon and whips him into another corner, following closely behind. As Demon hits the corner, Dulberg splashes him hard. Demon stumbles back and is rolled up by Dulberg for one... two... And Beovich runs in to break up the pin!

Ferrara: It's going to be hard to get the pinfall when so many guys are still conscious.

Beovich retreats to his corner, but Dulberg is seething. He mouths off with Beovich, and is caught off guard when Demon flattens Dulberg with a side suplex. Demon rushes back to his corner and tags in Beovich! The crowd cheers for Beovich as he catches a slowly rising Dulberg by dragging his head back and sending a knee into his spine. Beovich picks up Dulberg, who battles back with punches to the midsection. Beovich and Dulberg begin to brawl, but Dulberg gets the better of it. He whips Beovich into the ropes and bounces off the opposite side himself, delivering a knee to Beovich's gut as he returns. Dulberg drags Beovich to his corner and tags in Jonathan Brett.

Ferrara: And here comes Mike Troha's Bodyguard!

Troy: That's the best you could come up with?

Dulberg lifts Beovich to his feet as Brett enters the ring, but Beovich instinctively charges forward and clotheslines them both to the ground! Beovich dashes back to his corner and tags the outstretched hand of Romeo to the delight of the crowd! Romeo finds Brett getting to his feet, but is more than happy to send him back down with a hard shoulder block. Dulberg is also rising slowly, so Romeo finds it necessary to toss him out of the ring. Romeo goes right back to work on Brett and drives him into the mat with a back suplex. He lifts Brett off the mat and sends taped fists into Brett's jaw, dazing the big man. Romeo kicks Brett in the gut and gets him into position for the Dre-Day Powerbomb! He looks down at Mike Troha and mouths off at him, but Dulberg rolls back into the ring and clotheslines Romeo. Beovich then enters the ring and tackles Dulberg to the mat!

Ferrara: Get some order in there, ref!

Troy: That's not going to be easy with these guys!

As Beovich and Dulberg spill over to the outside, Romeo and Brett simultaneously climb to their feet. Brett charges towards Romeo, but receives a sidewalk slam for his efforts! Romeo falls back and makes the tag to Speed Demon, who climbs the turnbuckle and flies off it, delivering the Shadow of the Nite! However, Reaper can be seen walking down the aisle. Demon lands on Brett with crushing impact and gets back to his feet. Before he can continue the attack, Demon notices Reapers presence. Once again, Reapers looks up at Demon, but Justice comes out from backstage and spins Reaper around. Justice gets into his face and confronts Reaper with disturbing Demon's match. After exchanging some words, Justice and Reaper begin to shove each other, and Demon is completely distracted by it. Before long, Brett reaches a vertical base and spins Demon around, surprising and demolishing him with a vicious Chokeslam. Brett pins Demon... One... Two... Romeo rushes in, but Grieco is quick to move in and clothesline him... Three.

Troy: Damn it! This is because Reaper distracted Speed Demon!

Ferrara: Regardless, the books are going to say that Jonathan Brett made the pin today.

Brett raises his arms high as "Quake 1" by Nine Inch Nails plays again, to the displeasure of the Kansas City crowd.
WINNERS VIA PINFALL AT 9:03:  MIKE GRIECO, JONATHAN BRETT, AND JON DULBERG

SEGMENT 6:  BACKSTAGE:

Back from commercial, the camera takes us to Superagent Walter Gindin’s dressing room.  Solomon is readying himself for his match against Jaguar, while Tony Annetta and Infernus are conversing in the corner.  In the center of the room, Jade has Gindin’s ear.

Jade:  Walter, did you SEE what happened last week?!

Gindin:  Jade, I saw it, but listen, you didn’t have possession over Liz Rush.  And technically she WAS your opponent in the match.  So really…

Jade:  Walter, I don’t give a DAMN if it makes sense to you or not.  I want a shot at the Women’s Championship, and I want it NOW!

Gindin:  Well Jade, honestly, you just need to settle your ass down, and when we see who the Women’s Champion is after tonight’s bout, we’ll go from there.

Jade:  Walter, you get me a title shot, or I’m gonna find a new agent.

Gindin:  Trust me, Jade.  I’ll get it.  When have I ever let you down before?

Just then, Tony Annetta gets up in a huff and storms out the door.

Gindin:  (confused) Where the hell is he going?

Gindin exits the room after him and calls down the hall.

Gindin:  Tony!  Where are you going?

Annetta:  (shouting, without turning back) To the ring!  There’s something I need to do!

Ferrara:  Annetta isn’t on my program!

Troy:  Well it looks like he’s on his way out here regardless!  Stay tuned, folks!

-- COMMERCIAL BREAK #4--

SEGMENT 7:  RINGSIDE:
As we return, Dream Theater’s “The Mirror” blasts onto the speakers and the Kansas City crowd erupts into rabid boos.  Tony Annetta walks down to the ring with a purpose, wasting no time in grabbing a microphone and getting down to business.

Annetta:  You know, I’ve been sitting in the back, thinking about a lot of things, and really, I’ve been sitting on my hands for the last few weeks as well.  What I’m talking about is the return of Jason Calysto, and my part in getting rid of him the first time.  Yeah, Calysto gave me the first big rub of my career and, yeah, hanging around the Iceman gave me exposure that I really wouldn’t have gotten had he not been around.  I’m not gonna lie.  I’ll readily admit that.  But the fact of the matter is that when he lost his career last December, I made a decision to abandon a sinking ship.  I had decided before the match even started that if Calysto lost, I was going to make sure I didn’t go down with him.  And I did exactly that.  I got in his face after he lost, and then, three nights later, I helped ruin his farewell ceremony.  I hired Walter Gindin shortly after that, and that should have been the end of the story.  But now, all of a sudden, Calysto is back, and what he’s doing now is slowing the progress of my career.  I want him gone from the PWA again, and this time, I want him gone forever.  So, since no one else seems to want to step up to the plate, I’m out here tonight to do what I’ve wanted to do for years.  I’m here tonight to challenge Jason Calysto to get in the ring with me, one-on-one, at Walking Wounded.  Jay, at Walking Wounded, if you have the guts to accept my challenge, I’ll end your career personally.

Moments later, “F*ckin in the Bushes” blasts onto the speakers and the crowd cheers raucously as The Iceman Jason Calysto makes his way down to the ring.  Calysto then grabs a microphone and steps inside.

Calysto:  That was a nice little speech you had there, Tony.  Let me tell you, I didn’t come out here to make any cute speeches, or get into a battle of verbal one-upsmanship.  What I came out here to do is plain and simple, and that is to accept your challenge.  You see Tony, you’re right.  I gave you the biggest break of your career, and to thank me, you turned your back on me the second that staying by my side would be detrimental to your career.  Tony, let’s face it, if it weren’t for me, you never would have been hired by the PWA in the first place.  You know, I could almost forgive you for what you did at Revival.  But what you, Machine, and Infernus did three nights later I will never forget.  I’ve already taken out The Machine.  Tony, on September 25, at Walking Wounded, you will become the second name crossed off the list.  I’ve said this many times before, and I’ll say it again now, and Tony, you ESPECIALLY will be nothing I can’t handle.  Because I’m the Iceman, Tony.  And when it’s time to shut up and wrestle, there’s NO ONE in the business as good as me.  No one.

Calysto then drops the mic as “F*ckin in the Bushes” hits again and the crowd begins cheering wildly.  Calysto and Annetta then commence a heated staredown as we take another commercial break.
