Linkin Park's "By_Myslf"
immediately hits and the opening credits roll, followed by a brilliant
pyrotechnics display which ensues as the camera takes us to the Jacksonville
Veterans Memorial Arena in
The
fans are immediately given something to cheer about as "Hey You" by
Simon Says blasts onto the speakers to start us off and the PWA Champion Greg
Tantalus begins making his way to the ring.
The
Moments
later, "Marriage of Figaro" by Mozart overtakes the speakers, and the
fans begin booing raucously as Dexter P. Wellington strolls down to the ring,
accompanied by his bodyguard Winston.
After a long and pretentious walk,
Simon
walks over to the commentary table and puts on a headset, which sends
Simon: Thanks, Vic, it's
good to be here. Someone ought to tell
Ferrara: Yup, and you'd better watch out Simon,
because

Simon: He had a match with the champ, he should have
been concentrating. Now he can
concentrate on getting this belt back at Walking Wounded, but I'm sorry to say
it guys, but the result will be just the same.

TANTALUS *

Back
from break, the camera is set at ringside, focused on Victor Troy and Paul
Ferrara.
Troy: Alright folks, we hope you enjoyed that
opening contest, and believe us, we have plenty more where that came from,
amongst which where it concerns the International Championship. We have two big quarterfinal matchups here tonight, but we'd like to talk to you about
one from last week, in particular, in which James Biamonte defeated Showtime
Damon Savage, thanks to an unwanted assist from Vladimir Vydrina.
Ferrara: We have been told that Showtime and Vydrina
have wanted to get at each other so badly since last week, but Rodney King
apparently talked Vydrina into not showing up at tonight's show. Showtime apparently flipped out at the news
that Vydrina wasn't here earlier today, so Kerry Cox, in the interest of making
this show run as smoothly as possible, sent him home.
Suddenly,
Reaper
grabs a microphone and the three enter the ring, still being showered with boos
by the crowd.
Reaper: Last week, Speed Demon took it upon himself
to screw me out of the International Championship Tournament. I take it he didn't appreciate my little
story about the fate of poor Dana Chapman.
That's ok. I knew he
wouldn't. That's why I told it to you
people. You see, I want Demon mad. I want him to have a reason to come back to
the ring. We want to finish him off,
once and for all. And that's exactly
what's going to happen at Walking Wounded.
You see, a match has been signed for Walking Wounded, a match between
myself and my former partner Speed Demon.
But this isn't just any match, no.
This... is a steel cage match.
And Demon, when you step inside the steel cage with me, only one of us
is going to walk out. And I guarantee
you, it won't be you.
Reaper: There is nothing you can do to...
Suddenly,
the lights go out and the fans cheer, knowing this is the calling card of Speed
Demon. However, weird noises reverberate
throughout the arena, before an image appears on the Jumobtron,
reading "At Walking Wounded, Prepare... to DIE!" The Speed Demon logo then appears, and the
lights go back on. The Army looks around
for Demon, but as Bishop Cross turns around, he is immediately Gored by GI Jew, who had entered the ring with the lights
out!
Loki
charges at his Walking Wounded opponent, but Jew has already exited the ring
and escaped through the crowd. Cross, a
look of fury in his eyes, is slow to his feet as Loki and Reaper tend to him
and we take a commercial break.
Ferrara: And don't forget now, we have Speed
Demon and Reaper in a steel cage!

"Black"
by Sevendust hits, and the crowd gives up a big
ovation for Paul Dawkins as he steps out through the curtain. The former
International Champion climbs into the ring and poses on the turnbuckles before
bouncing off the ropes to get loose.
Troy: Paul Dawkins lost The International Title at Everlasting Epic to Jackie
Baccaro, and he was not proud of the way he did so.
Ferrara: Yeah, he gave up
the belt in that match, but he's got a big shot at redemption. If he wins this
tournament, he will be a three-time champion.
As
Dawkins waits in the ring, "Quake 1" by Nine Inch Nails plays, and
the fans boo the arrival of Jonathan Brett and Justin Schenck. The powerhouse
of The Legacy walks slowly to the ring, but looks focused on taking the first
step towards his first International Title.
* PWA INTERNATIONAL
CHAMPIONSHIP TOURNAMENT - QUARTERFINALS: JONATHAN BRETT VS. PAUL DAWKINS *
Referee: Matt Hansen
Brett
steps into the ring and locks up with Dawkins after Matt Hansen calls for the bell.
Brett forces Dawkins back into a corner, where Hansen asks for a clean break,
but doesn't get one as Brett jacks Dawkins' jaw with a right hand. Brett takes
Dawkins out of the corner and Irish whips him before clotheslining
him down hard and covering for a two count.
Brett
gets Dawkins off the mat and drops him down with a vertical suplex before
hitting the ropes and trying an elbowdrop, but
Dawkins rolls away from it. Both men get up and Dawkins connects with two right
hands. Brett tries a right of his own, but Dawkins ducks under it and kicks him
in the midsection before hitting the ropes and dropping him down on his face
with The Scud Missile Legdrop!
Dawkins
covers for a two count before Brett powers out of it, but Dawkins stays on him
by driving him back into a corner and mounting the turnbuckles. He beats his
fist against Brett's forehead a total of ten times before climbing down and
nailing Brett with a Stinger Splash! Impressively, Brett doesn't go down, so
Dawkins grabs his arm and shoots him into the opposing corner. Dawkins looks
for another Splash, but as he begins to run, Schenck hooks his leg and trips
him up!
Brett
gets out of the corner and grabs Dawkins up to lift him for The Samoan Driver,
but Dawkins hits him in the chest to escape before kicking him in the gut and
hoisting him up. Before Brett can escape, Dawkins drives him down flat with The
Mother of All Bombs! Dawkins covers for 1----2----3!
Troy: And
despite Justin's influence, Dawkins still moves on!
Troy: That's right, he'll
go one-on-one with Renegade! What an explosive match that will be between those
two partners next week!
"Black"
replays for Dawkins victorious exit as we head out to a break.

DAWKINS *

We
return to ringside, where Nick Cade is standing inside with a microphone.
Cade: At
Everlasting Epic, we saw the team of John Wolfe and Paul Epton defeat Alpha
Omega for the Tag Team Championship. At Walking Wounded, we will witness the
rematch. These two teams each requested time to speak, so allow me to introduce
first, the team of Greg Price and Steve Beovich, Alpha Omega!
White
Zombie's "More Human Than Human" begins to
play and boos pour out at the former tag team title holders walk to the ring,
surprisingly alone. They climb in and grabs
microphones as the music stops.
Cade: And
the men that will meet them at Walking Wounded, the Tag Team Champions of The
World, Paul Epton and John Wolfe!
Muse's
"Stockholm Syndrome" hits and a rousing ovation comes for the
two-time tag champs as they make their way to the ring. They also get
microphones and wait as Cade speaks again.
Cade: Gentlemen --
Beovich: (Cutting him off)
I've got it from here Nick, thanks. (Nick is shoved off by Price and exits the
ring) Listen up, we don't know who you guys think you are, but just because you
have those belts, don't think you're the best team in this businees.
Mistakes do happen, people do get lucky from time to
time. That is the story of you two losers, you got lucky at Everlasting Epic.
Wolfe: Lucky eh? That's
interesting, because these belts, which we have now held twice, do in fact say
that we are the best tag team in the World and not you.
Price: That's fine, but we
have taken them from you before and we will do so again. We have been
steamrolling over teams ever since we began teaming up. You saw what we did
last week to whatever guys we beat, and the same will happen to you.
Epton: I'm sick of this.
Whether its you or that rat of a manager you have, all
you ever manage to do is run your bloody mouths. How about we don't wait for
Walking Wounded and just do it right here and now?!
Alpha
Omega seems to ponder the offer before turning to cheap shot the champions!
Wolfe and Epton respond with fists of their own and a brawl quickly breaks out
between both teams!
Ferrara: And
now they're going at it, what else is new?
A
team of officials rush out to try and separate the two teams, but no end is in
sight as the shot cuts away.
A
video package airs, highlighting the career of wrestler-turned-actor Rudy

The
crowd is a little confused as a young man in generic green long tights waits in
the ring next to Billy Vargas, but that is cleared up once
Scythe's
music stops and he grabs a microphone to speak.
Scythe: Chris, before we
begin, I just wanted to say thanks for participating in this workout with me
here in
Nicholson
nods to Scythe, who hands the mic back to Lee Palmer.
Both men circle around the ring to begin and Nicholson goes in for a hard
lock-up, but Scythe quickly takes him down with an arm drag. Nicholson tries
again and gets the same treatment once more. Frustrated, Nicholson swings a
right hand that is blocked. Scythe blocks a left next before dropping the
youngster on his back with a leg sweep! Nicholson pops up thinking of his next
move, but nobody makes one as B.G.'s "I Want
It" begins to play and three D-Bombs explode upon impact with the ramp.
Nearly being booed out of the arena, Da Playboi Romeo arrives on the scene.
Romeo
cockily walks up the ring steps and stands near Nicholson as he gets a
microphone.
Romeo: Are you serious?
Scythe, you claim to want to do a workout here for the losers of
Before
Nicholson can respond, Romeo grabs him by the head and smacks it with the microphone!
Nicholson falls to the mat as the crowd boos and Romeo begins to put the
boots to the youngster. Scythe steps in to break it up, but Romeo knocks him in
the head with the microphone as well. Before long, Romeo is kicking and
stomping both Scythe and Nicholson, and that brings out The Iceman Jason
Calysto to a huge pop!
Calysto
and Romeo come to blows in the middle of the ring, and The Iceman is winning
the battle until Jackie Baccaro and Vulture run down and slide into the ring to
club him down. The trio stomps the other three men in the ring until a huge
roar meets Greg Tantalus! The PWA Champion runs to the ring and holds his own
against all three men solo.
Tantalus'
momentum is peaking until Hollywood Mike Griffin and Jonathan Brett get in on
it and take him down from behind. Scythe and Calysto begin to come back, but
the numbers do not measure up. Scythe, Calysto, Tantalus and Nicholson are
being beaten down until a thunderous ovation greets Jaguar as he runs down and
slides into the ring!
Baccaro
goes right up to Jaguar, who blocks a right hand and hits him with three of his
own to send him to the ground! Brett tries to charge him, but Jaguar low bridges
the top rope and he soars over the top to the floor!
