LOKOMOTIV STADIUM

MOSCOW, RUSSIA

SEGMENT 8:  BACKSTAGE:
Back from commercial, the camera shows Speed Demon entering the building with Dana Chapman, hand in hand.  This elicits cheers from the crowd.  The couple doesn’t get far, however, before they are stopped by Reaper.

Reaper:  What are you doing?  I thought I told you to drop this girl.

Demon:  I’m not dropping anyone.  Dana is my girl, and it’s gonna stay that way.  If you have a problem with it, I suggest you do something about it.

Voice:  Gentlemen, gentlemen, let’s not be hasty.  I have a proposition for you.

Everyone turns around to find the enigmatic Bishop Cross standing before them.

Reaper:  Proposition?

Cross:  Yes.  I’ve seen you work.  You two are exactly what I’m looking for.  I want you to join my army of the damned.  Join me and we will rule this company.  You will be part of an invincible army that I am currently assembling.  You won’t regret it.  Now, I’m not asking for an answer right now.  I know this is a career-altering decision.  However, I will expect a decision from the two of you one week from tonight in San Diego.  I’m heading to the ring right now for my match.  I suggest you watch closely.

Cross then exits, headed for the ring, leaving Demon and Reaper looking pensive and Dana looking concerned as we take another break.

SEGMENT 9:  MATCH 3:  BISHOP CROSS VS. MISTA JONES:
Referee:  Jose Soares
As we return, we see former NYCW standout Mista Jones standing in the ring, ready for action.  “Phantom of the Opera overture” by Andrew Lloyd Webber then blasts onto the speakers and the fans begin booing raucously as Bishop Cross makes his mysterious and intimidating entrance.  Cross enters the ring and stands face to face with Jones, staring him down as the bell sounds.

Troy:  For whatever reason, Paul, Jones does not look intimidated in there.

Ferrara:  That has to be because they feuded last year in NYCW.  Jones never beat Cross, but fought him to several time-limit draws while feuding over the TV title of our defunct developmental organization.  Either that, or he’s related to Indiana.

Troy:  Paul, you’re insane.  That’s impossible.  They’re not even the same ethnicity.

Ferrara:  Leave it to Troy to take the joke seriously.

Troy:  It still wasn’t funny.

Ferrara:  Oh believe me, I know.

Jones rushes right at Cross, but Cross immediately takes him down with a vicious chop to the throat.  Cross then lifts Jones off the mat and torpedoes him shoulder-first into the ringpost.  Jones screams out in pain, and Cross is there to cash in.  As Jones tries to get to a vertical base, Cross absolutely destroys him with a shining wizard.  Cross then lifts him off the mat and delivers the Crossfire with thunderous impact.  Cross then covers… one, two, three.

Troy:  What an absolutely dominant victory!

Ferrara:  One thing is for sure, Troy.  Bishop Cross is back, and back with a vengeance.  If he gets the Lost Souls on his side next week, we’re all going to be in trouble.

The fans boo loudly as “Phantom of the Opera” hits the speakers again and a smirk appears on the face of the victorious Bishop Cross as we take a commercial break.

WINNER VIA PINFALL AT 1:21:  BISHOP CROSS

 -- COMMERCIAL BREAK #7 --

SEGMENT 10:  BACKSTAGE:
As we return and are sent to the backstage area, a graphic appears on the screen reading “During The Break.”  We are in the Lost Souls dressing room, where they have just finished watching Bishop Cross’ match.  After seeing the dominant performance, Reaper stands and applauds.  Demon and Dana sit on the couch, not reacting much to it.

Reaper:  Now THAT is what we need to be a part of!  Demon, I don’t know about you, but I’m definitely on board.  We’ll talk more about this during the week, but I want to be on whatever side that man is on.  I’ll see you later.

Reaper then turns and exits the dressing room enthused.  Dana then turns back and looks at Speed Demon.

Dana:  Are you really gonna join that guy?  I’ve been around him, he’s pure evil.

Demon:  I know.  Dana, I really can’t answer.  I have no respect for him, but joining him is probably the best move for my career.

Dana:  Don’t do it.  Please don’t do it.  Promise me.

Demon:  I don’t know if I can do that.  I really just need to think.

Dana:  Please do.

Dana and Demon continue sitting there, pensive, as the shot fades.

SEGMENT 11:  BACKSTAGE:

The crowd cheers as the shot shows Briggs leaving his dressing room to make his way to the ring for the upcoming main event. He looks down to check his wrist tape and elbowpads before turning a corner and walking right into Walter Gindin and Solomon. The Alaskan Monster gives Briggs an angry stare, and Briggs returns it as they have a silent staredown.

Solomon: You gonna make a move?

Briggs: It’s whatever you wanna do big man. You first.

Neither man blinks an eye as a few officials run over to get in between them and avoid a confrontation. Briggs nods at Solomon before turning back around and continuing his walk to the ring.

-- COMMERCIAL BREAK #8 --

SEGMENT 12:  MATCH 5:  PWA CHAMPION HOLLYWOOD MIKE GRIFFIN, JONATHAN BRETT & SUPERSTAR SCOTT HOSEMANN VS. GREG TANTALUS, BRIGGS & SCYTHE:
Referee:  Matt Hansen
The focus shifts back to the ring as the lights go down and Lacuna Coil's "Heaven's A Lie" hits the speakers. A huge roar of approval is heard as Greg Tantalus' Jumbotron video appears, but it grows even more once the Smooth One himself appears at the top of the ramp. Tantalus walks down to the ring and poses on the ring apron before climbing inside.

Troy: Greg Tantalus has got to be pumped up tonight, this is his first crack at The Legacy since being screwed out of the tournament against Scythe three weeks ago.

Ferrara: He should be careful about what he wishes for.

Sevendust's "Trust" plays next, and the cheers pour in again as Briggs power walks his way to the ring. He climbs inside and shakes hands with Tantalus before bouncing off the ropes to get loose.

Troy: What was that about with Solomon earlier?

Ferrara: I don't know, but Briggs is as cool as a cucumber. He is out for The Legacy, and I'm sure that’s his only focus tonight.

"With You" by Linkin Park plays next, and the crowd explodes with cheers for the arrival of Scythe! The number one contender runs through his smoke to a huge ovation, and he looks more than ready for action as he slides into the ring and poses on the turnbuckles. He exchanges pleasantries with Briggs and nods to Tantalus, a man he has never seen eye-to-eye with. None of that matters anymore once Earshot's "Control" takes over and boos pour in for The Legacy.

Justin Schenck comes out first, followed in tandem by Jonathan Brett, Hollywood Mike Griffin and Superstar Scott Hosemann, who returned from an injury last week to attack Briggs and Scythe. The trio exudes confidence as they walk down to the ring and climb inside.

Troy: Tensions are through the roof between these two teams right now. We all know what the story is between them, now its time to sit back and enjoy our main event.

The music stops and the match is set to get underway as Tantalus starts off against Hosemann. The bell rings and they start with a lockup. Hosemann goes low with a knee to the midsection that he follows up with a clubbing blow to the back. He backs Greg into the ropes and whips him across, but Tantalus ducks under a clothesline to drop Hosemann with one of his own. The Superstar gets up quickly, but walks right into a Tantalus bodyslam. Hosemann thinks twice about getting back up, instead opting to tag out to Brett.

Ferrara: I know for a fact that Jonathan Brett is none too happy about what happened last week when Greg hit him with that crowbar. He's gonna go right after him here.

Brett does just that as he runs up and kicks Tantalus in the gut. He then drives him back into a corner and rams him with three hard shoulder thrusts before whipping him hard into the opposite corner. Tantalus falls to the mat and the crowd boos loudly as Brett begins to taunt him.

Brett grabs Tantalus by the hair and hoists him up for a slam, but Tantalus slips behind him and takes him down with a suplex. A tag to Briggs follows, and the big man goes to work on Brett with two right hands before shooting him into the ropes and decking him with a big boot to the face!

Hosemann runs in and gets a headbutt for his troubles, but Griffin runs in and hits a chop block that puts Briggs on the ground in pain! Griffin exits the ring, but is brought right back in by a tag from Brett. The PWA Champion goes to work on Briggs' leg with hard kicks and stomps before stretching it out and dropping an elbow on it.

Griffin heads up to the middle turnbuckle and stomps back down on Briggs' leg, furthering his attempt to injure the limb. Briggs does manage to reach his feet, and Griffin hits the ropes, but as he nears, Briggs shocks him with a huge tilt-a-whirl slam!

Ferrara: Damn, can anything stop this guy?!

Troy: It’s not looking like it!

Briggs moves over to his corner and brings in Scythe, who gets a big hand as he rushes Griffin back into a corner and unloads on him with ten right hands to the head. The champion wobbles out of the corner and falls flat on his face, leaving Scythe in firm control. Brett tries to reach in, but Scythe swats him away and decks him with a right hand. The distraction proves to be costly once Griffin runs up behind Scythe and dumps him on his head with a huge release German Suplex!

Griffin tags out to Hosemann, and he takes full advantage of Scythe's position by kicking him in the midsection and slamming him down with a reverse neckbreaker! Hosemann covers for one...two...and Scythe kicks out!

Hosemann argues the close call, taking his eyes off of Scythe in the process. He turns back to him, but he is cut down with a huge double hand chop from the Modern-Day Samurai! Scythe looks for a tag, but he is nailed from behind by Griffin. This brings an irate Greg Tantalus into the fray, and he tackles the champion down to the ground! Brett also enters, but he is cut off by Briggs!

Troy: This one is breaking down now!

Ferrara: But Justin is getting into action now! He's grabbing the belt!

Schenck takes the belt from the timekeeper and slides it into the ring to Hosemann. The Superstar reaches his feet and swings it at Scythe, but he ducks under it and uses Hosemann's own momentum to lift him up and spike him with The Flying Dragon Chokeslam!

Griffin and Brett are both tied up and Schenck is powerless to stop Scythe as he drags Hosemann over to a corner and mounts the top turnbuckle before jumping off and nailing him with The Diving Blade! Scythe covers and hooks the near leg for the three count!

Troy: And Scythe wins it for his team!

"With You" hits again as Schenck tries to round up his troops. He pulls Griffin away from Tantalus and out of the ring as Brett and Hosemann also roll out. Scythe, Briggs and Tantalus stand tall in the ring as The Legacy backpedals up the ramp. Griffin holds his belt high into the air, reminding Scythe that he has what he is coming for this weekend.

Ferrara: He might have gotten the win tonight, but we'll see what happens come Symphony of Destruction!

Troy: That we will.

As Scythe continues to stand there, Solomon enters the ring and clubs down Briggs from behind!  A brawl ensues in the ring, with Solomon cleaning house, before Jason Calysto runs down and pounds on Solomon to a huge ovation!  The Legacy then sprints back to the ring, getting involved!  Romeo then rushes down to the ring and takes down anyone in his path, which prompts Jaguar to rush out dart out from the back to attack!  As Jaguar cleans house, Anthony Failla runs down and does his own damage, which brings out the ORA Champion GI Jew!  Jew goes after everyone, and an absolute melee breaks out, prompting even more superstars to come out from the back!

Ferrara:  It looks like we’re getting the SOD a few days early this year!  It’s chaos on the ring!

Troy:  It sure is!  It is sure to be an electric night this Saturday!  For Paul Ferrara, I'm Victor Troy saying we'll see you in San Francisco!
