SEGMENT 9:  BACKSTAGE:
The camera cuts to the backstage area, where Lauren Tantalus is seen entering her locker room, settling herself and getting ready for whatever she needs to do tonight.  As she begins unpacking, the door opens, and Vulture and the International Champion Jackie Baccaro enter the room.  Both are in finely-tailored suits, and Baccaro has the title belt draped over his shoulder, while Vulture is wearing his black leather Kangol hat and dark sunglasses.  Neither is smiling.

Lauren:  Hey guys.  So Mike, what's on the agenda tonight?

Vulture:  Nevermind that.  Jackie here just finished a six-man tag and we have a lot to go over about the Symphony of Destruction and our strategy.  Basically, what I'm saying is that we don't need you here tonight, so you're free to go.

Lauren:  You sure?

Vulture then walks over to Lauren slowly and methodically.

Vulture:  I'm sure.  Enjoy this.  Because Lauren, listen to me when I say this.

He then takes off his sunglasses.

Vulture:  Nothing has changed.  I haven't forgiven you.  Things are not fine between us.  They never will be.  Enjoy this last week in Europe.  Because Lauren, when we get back to the US, our arrangement goes right back to the way it was.  You do whatever we say, whenever we say it, and there's not a damn thing you can do about it.  Now get out.

Jackie Baccaro smiles approvingly as Vulture stares Lauren down intently.  Shocked, Lauren gathers her things and leaves the room, noticeably upset.

SEGMENT 10:  MATCH 4:  THE LOST SOULS VS. DEAN NASH & DAMIEN FIELDS:
Referee:  Billy Vargas
Back from commercial, “Spitfire” by The Prodigy is playing over the speakers and Dean Nash and Damien Fields are standing in the ring, awaiting the start of the next match.  Moments later, “A Violent Reaction” by American Head Charge hits the speakers and Speed Demon and Reaper, The Lost Souls, make their way to the ring to a response of jeers.  They step into the ring and immediately go after Nash and Fields, the former champs, and the bell sounds to get the match underway.

Reaper is in the ring with Nash first, grabbing him and tossing him into the corner, before unloading on him with furious knife-edge chops.  Nash stumbles out of the corner, but Reaper backs up and charges at him, downing him with a hard shoulderblock.  With Nash down on the mat, Reaper tags Demon into the match, who immediately goes to work on Nash.  Demon whips him against the ropes and downs him with a back body drop as he returns.  Demon continues to work Nash over when the fans begin to boo, noticing Bishop Cross appearing at the top of the ramp, looking on intently.

Troy:  What the hell is he doing out here?!

Ferrara:  It looks like he’s just watching things.  For now.

Demon notices his presence but chooses not to acknowledge it.  Meanwhile, Dean Nash is able to make a recovery and fends off Demon long enough to retreat to his corner and make a tag to Damien Fields.  Fields comes in and works over Demon hard, downing him with repeated armdrags.  Demon makes a tag to Reaper and Reaper, fully aware of Cross’ presence, turns it up, nearly taking Fields’ head off with a vicious clothesline.  Fields stumbles to his feet, and Reaper whips him into the corner and destroys him with a furious big splash.  Fields hits the ground and Reaper runs over to Nash knocking him off the apron.  Reaper then tags Demon and the two complete New Dawn Fading on Fields in ultra-impressive fashion.  Demon covers… one, two, three.

Troy:  And another impressive victory for the three-time tag team champions.

Ferrara:  Bishop Cross certainly looks impressed.

Cross is seen applauding at the top of the ramp and Reaper acknowledges him as “A Violent Reaction” blasts over the speakers.  Speed Demon is confused as to what’s going on as we take a commercial break.

SEGMENT 11:  BACKSTAGE:

The camera cuts to Dana Chapman alone in her dressing room.  As she stands there, pacing, Speed Demon opens the door and enters.  Dana smiles when she seems him, grabbing him and kissing him.  Demon smiles as well, but the smile soon fades into a look of the utmost seriousness.

Dana:  What?  What's the matter?

Demon:  We can't do this anymore.

Dana:  What do you mean?  Can't do what?  I don't understand.

Demon:  This.  Us.  It can't happen anymore.

Dana:  (hurt) You can't be serious.  Why?  What did I do?

Demon:  Nothing.  You didn't do anything.  It's just... we're different people, you and I.  We run in different circles.  The bottom line is that I am a Lost Soul and I will always be a Lost Soul.  Seeing you like this will only serve as a distraction to our goal of ultimate tag team dominance.

Dana:  But don't you care about me?

Demon:  I do care.  I care a lot.

Dana:  Then why are you doing this?

Demon:  I have to.  I'm doing this to protect you.

Dana:  I don't need to be protected.  All I want is you.  I'm ready for whatever risk is involved.  I guess you aren't.  Search inside.  What does your heart say?

Demon:  (pause) It says... oh, who am I kidding?  I can't do this.  Dana, I think I'm falling in love with you.  So, I don't care anymore.  You've made me happier than I've ever been before, and I don't care what Reaper or anyone else thinks.  I'm with you for the long haul.

Dana then smiles widely and embraces Speed Demon, kissing him.

Dana:  You don't know how happy I am to hear you say that.

The two then share a warm embrace as the shot fades.

SEGMENT 12:  MATCH 5:  PWA CHAMPION HOLLYWOOD MIKE GRIFFIN & JONATHAN BRETT VS. BRIGGS & SCYTHE:
Referee:  Matt Hansen
Sevendust's "Trust" begins, bringing a wave of cheers from the capacity crowd as Briggs walks out to the ring. The big Canadian carries a face of stone as he steps over the top rope and pounds his fist into his palm, looking for another shot at any Legacy member he can get his hands on. As he waits, Linkin Park's "With You" takes over and the crowd cheers wildly as Scythe marches back through the smoke and climbs into the ring. He pounds fists with Briggs, but then watches the entrance intently as he waits for the two men who assaulted him earlier in the evening.

The lights dim down as Tool's "Parabola" blasts through the PA system. Boos drown the music as Hollywood Mike Griffin and Jonathan Brett come back out into the arena. The PWA World Heavyweight Championship belt peeks through the top of Griffin's robe as he points up into the air for his dazzling fireworks to shoot off behind him. Griffin and Brett near the ring and demand that Hansen back their opponents up before they step inside.

Ferrara: Griffin and Brett tried to take Scythe apart earlier tonight, and they might have if it wasn't for Briggs.

Troy: This is Mike Griffin's first televised match since regaining the PWA Title at Animosity, but Scythe is looking to make it his last, before the SOD even happens.

Briggs exits the ring as Scythe yells for Griffin to start the match, but he gets his longtime nemesis Brett as Hansen calls for the bell. Scythe and Brett begin with a lockup, and Scythe quickly clamps on a side headlock. Brett backs up and shoves him off to the ropes before sending him down with a shoulder block.

Scythe gets up and Brett hits the ropes, but Scythe drops back down to the mat. Brett jumps over him, and then has to duck under a leapfrog before being taken to the mat with a deep arm drag that Scythe holds into an armbar. Brett forces his way back to his feet and breaks the grip by raking Scythe across the eyes. Scythe reaches up to rub his eyes, leaving him wide open to be decked with a big clothesline from the former tag team champion. Scythe goes down hard and Brett gives a tag to the now eager Griffin.

Troy: Sure, now Mike Griffin wants to get in there, now that Scythe is down.

Ferrara: Nothing wrong with picking your spots.

Griffin enters the ring and stomps Scythe down into a corner before choking him with his boot until the count of five. Griffin grabs Scythe off the mat and delivers a hard chop to his chest before whipping him to the corner. Griffin charges, but Scythe hits him with two boots to the face before driving him down with a bulldog headlock!

Troy: Scythe has got to make a tag here!

Scythe nears his corner and finds Briggs' arm fully outstretched. Griffin is barely up when Briggs makes the tag and barrels him over with a fierce shoulder tackle that nearly sends him out of the ring! Brett makes a tag and runs into the ring, but Briggs boots him in the gut before hoisting up his 275-pound frame and dropping him with an effortless military press slam!

Griffin gets up and charges, but he is also lifted high into the air. Instead of just being dropped, Briggs twists him and drills him down with an amazing spinebuster that gets the crowd in a frenzy! Brett gets back up and goes after Briggs, but Briggs drops him across the top rope with a hotshot and drives him down with a sidewalk slam! With Brett and Griffin both down, Briggs looks out to the crowd and signals for his big sit-down powerbomb.

Troy: Briggs has been absolutely dominant thus far, and now he's looking for the kill!

Briggs grabs Brett and gets him into position for the move, but before he can lift him up, he is drilled in the back by a chairshot, courtesy of...Scott Hosemann! Briggs drops Brett down to the mat and turns around, but The Superstar blasts him with another shot in the head that puts the big man down flat on his back!

Ferrara: Superstar Scott Hosemann is back, and he is looking for some revenge!

Troy: Briggs put him out of action at Animosity with back spasms, but I had no idea he was even in the building tonight!

Scythe gets in to stop Hosemann, but he gets the chair to the ribs before it smashes against his back. The match is stopped as Hosemann, Griffin and Brett all commence a three-on-two beating that keep both Briggs and Scythe flattened on the mat. Griffin grabs the chair and is prepared to do some serious damage when Lacuna Coil's "Heaven's A Lie" hits and Greg Tantalus blazes a trail down to the ring with a crowbar in hand!

Troy: It’s Tantalus! Greg Tantalus is here!

Griffin drops the chair and quickly flees as Hosemann does the same on the opposite side of the ring. Brett is not so lucky, and receives a shot to the midsection and then the back before being pulled out of the ring by Hosemann. Tantalus clutches the weapon tightly and helps Briggs and Scythe up to a huge ovation as the Legacy exits, keeping a lot of distance in between them as Frequency comes to its conclusion.
