JOE LOUIS ARENA

DETROIT, MICHIGAN

SEGMENT 1:  INTRODUCTION:

A video package airs, highlighting events that took place last week on Frequency, with GI Jew defeating PWA Champion Romeo via DQ due to interference from ORA Champion Anthony Failla in a non-title match, and Hollywood Mike Griffin pinning Jaguar later in the night due to interference from Romeo.  The opening credits then roll as Linkin Park's "By_Myslf" hits and we are sent inside the Joe Louis Arena in Detroit, Michigan, where an amazing fireworks display ensues and we are sent to our commentators, Victor Troy and Paul Ferrara.

Troy: Ladies and gentlemen, welcome to PWA Frequency! I’m Victor Troy, along here with Paul Ferrara, and we are live in Detroit for another action-packed episode!

Ferrara:  That’s right,
Troy!  We have just completed a phenomenal African tour, and we are back in the United States tonight for a brief stop-off before embarking on an extensive European tour!  It’s Frequency here tonight in Detroit, Animosity this Saturday in Indianapolis, and then we head to Europe!

Troy:  Absolutely Paul, and we intend to make our time back in the States count!  We have a tremendous show in store for you tonight, as we prepare for Animosity in just four days!  As announced last week, we will have two submission matches tonight, as Jason Calysto squares off with Infernus, and Solomon meets… The Omega Steve Beovich!  That’s right, Solomon secured former International, Progressive, and Tag Team Champion Beovich to meet him in the submission match tonight.

Ferrara:  Those matches should be something, but we’ve got a lot more to offer tonight.  The PWA Champion Romeo has requested interview time tonight, and he has been granted the closing spot on tonight’s show, so we are going to hear from Romeo tonight before we go off the air, which should be interesting.  Also, Dee Licious is in the building tonight, and Scott Cornelius will conduct an exclusive interview with her, in her first appearance since Requiem.

Troy:  All that and much more coming your way tonight, but folks, we’re ready to go, so let’s head right to the ring!

SEGMENT 2:  MATCH 1:  SUBMISSION MATCH:  SOLOMON VS. THE OMEGA STEVE BEOVICH:
Referee:  Dan Martin

A loud blast of blue pyro erputs from the stage, startling everyone within its earshot as Darkseed's "Hear Me" blares throughout The Joe. Walter Gindin leads Solomon to the ring to a huge chorus of boos, but Solomon carries his usual look of determination as he marches down to the ring.

Troy: It was just last week that The Iceman Jason Calysto challenged Solomon to do what he was doing tonight, competing in a submission match. But he also wanted it done against competition that is comparable with his opponent tonight, Infernus.

Ferrara: That's right. Infernus boasts an impressive resume. He's held the Progressive, International and Tag Team Championships, but not the World Title. Calysto said he wanted a guy to face Solomon, but only if he met the same criteria. Who does that leave?

Troy: There aren't that many on the roster besides Infernus. There is Jon Dulberg, but I can't think of --

Troy stops once "More Human Than Human" begins to play and The Omega Steve Beovich walks out!

Troy: Hey! There's a guy who has won those 3 titles! The Omega Steve Beovich has answered the challenge!

Ferrara: This crowd is going nuts, but Solomon doesn't look like he cares.

Solomon's face doesn't move a centimeter as the crowd showers Beovich with cheers. The Omega nears the ring and steps inside, looking to be the first man to make Solomon submit. He steps into the ring and poses on the turnbuckles, but comes down to find the icy stare of The Alaskan Monster rin his eyes.

The bell rings and both men start it off with a lock up. Solomon gains the advantage, but Beovich takes over with a go-behind. Beovich reaches up and grabs Solomon in a side headlock, but the former PWA Champion easily shoves him off to the ropes. Solomon throws a boot up at Beovich, but he slides under quickly and grabs Solomon in a sleeperhold!

Troy: Beovich is going for it all early right here!

Beovich holds on tight, but Solomon turns downward violently, slamming Beovich down hard on his back! Solomon gets Beovich off the canvas and slings him into a corner before pummeling his midsection with a flurry of punches. Beovich staggers forward into Solomon's grip for a gorilla press, but Beovich rakes him across the eyes and turns him over with a sunset flip! Realizing that pinfalls do not count in an I Quit match, Beovich tries to go after Solomon's legs by locking on a quick figure-four leglock!

Troy: The figure-four! We might see Solomon give it up here!

Ferrara: I don't think so, Beovich got it on too quick. I don't think he's got the move locked in right.

Troy: With Solomon, you might as well take what you can get.

Solomon winces in pain, but fights through it enough to sit up and break Beovich's leglock without ever using his hands. Beovich marvels with the rest of the crowd at Solomon's leg strength, but he quickly reacts by hitting the ropes and nailing Solomon in the face with a dropkick!

With Solomon flat on his back, Beovich hops up to the top turnbuckle and comes off with his picture-perfect frog splash that scores with its namesake of Extreme Precision!

Troy: Beovich just nailed Extreme Precision on Solomon!

Ferrara: But he still hasn't made him quit!

Beovich looks a bit lost as he ponders his next move, but he sees Solomon starting to rise and jumps on his back in another sleeperhold. Solomon struggles, but eventually reaches his feet and lets out a yell as he swings Beovich off his back and onto his shoulders before drilling him with The Deep Freeze!

Ferrara: Holy crap! Did you see that Troy?!

Troy: Solomon just nailed Beovich with The Deep Freeze without even lifting him off the ground!

Ferrara: But he still has to make him give up!

Beovich writhes on the mat face-down, so Solomon decides to keep him that way by locking Beovich's left arm between his legs and pulling up on his head and neck with The Crossface!

Ferrara: Look at this!

Troy: Solomon is using The Crossface! That's Jason Calysto's move!

Ferrara: Its on there good too!

Beovich looks for an escape, but Solomon's muscular arms do the job for him as The Omega quickly slaps the canvas to tap out in defeat. The bell sounds and Solomon gets his arm raised in victory as "Hear Me" plays again.

Troy: Solomon wins this one, but Beovich has nothing to be ashamed of after their match tonight. That was a great effort.

Ferrara: It was, but with Solomon adding The Iceman's Crossface to his arsenal, there might not be anything stopping The Alaskan Monster at Animosity.

SEGMENT 3:  RINGSIDE:

Back from commercial, Scott Cornelius is standing in the ring.

Cornelius:  Ladies and gentlemen, at this time, please welcome a woman who has had to deal with a lot lately, a woman who we haven’t seen since Requiem, where she finally parted ways with her abusive boyfriend Mike Grieco.  Ladies and gentlemen, please welcome back to the PWA, Dee Licious!

Trina and Ludacris’ “B R Right” hits the speakers and Dee Licious makes her way to the ring to a sizeable ovation.  A little tentative,
Dee steps into the ring and stands next to Cornelius.

Cornelius:  Alright Dee, we know this must be difficult for you, being your first night back and all, but let’s start by saying that we’re all really glad to see you back, and to see that you’ve emerged from this incident with your head high.

Dee:  Well Scott, it took a long, long time to realize what was going on with Mike, and I finally came to my senses that it was time for me to break away.  He was holding me back in so many different ways, and I am really feel tremendously better since I’ve been apart from him.  I feel like a whole new person.  It’s been over two years since I’ve been with Mike, and I feel like I’m finally alive again.

Cornelius:  Right now, Mike Grieco is suspended from active competition, until after Animosity.  Are you afraid of being in the same locker room with him?

Dee:  I’d be lying if I said I wasn’t a little concerned, but I think there are enough people in that locker room that care about my well being to prevent anything serious from happening.  I’d like to think I could work things out amicably with Mike, in terms of being friends, but aside from that, we’re finished.

Cornelius:  What are your plans moving forward?

Dee:  Well, that’s the main reason I requested this time.  I wanted to formally announce to everyone out there that I am in training to return to active competition, and before you know it, Dee Licious is going to be back in the women’s division, and I have my sights set on Keiko Ishida and that Women’s Championship.

Cornelius:  Sounds great.  What…

Suddenly, Cornelius is cut off by the sounds of “Shoot Outs” by Jadakiss and Styles P. blasting over the speakers.  The fans boo vociferously as the ORA Champion Anthony Failla emerges from behind the curtain and walks down the aisle, a big smirk on his face.  When he steps inside, he rips the microphone from Cornelius and demands that he leaves the ring.  Cornelius obliges.  Failla moves in close on Dee and begins to speak.

Failla:  Well well, if it isn’t Dee Licious.  What a fitting name.  Everyone knows we have our history, so I’m not even gonna get into it.  I just came out here to ask you a question.  Now that you’ve dropped that loser Grieco, how bout I refresh your memory of what it’s like to be with a real man?

Dee:  Anthony stop.  Please, just leave.  You and I were through a long time ago.  And frankly, you’re making me very uncomfortable.

Failla:  Oh am I?  Well perhaps I should make you more comfortable.

Failla then grabs Dee by the hair and backs her up into the corner, forcing a kiss on her as Dee kicks and screams.  Suddenly, Dee’s brother James Biamonte darts down to the aisle and immediately takes it to Failla!  Failla and Biamonte exchange numerous blows as Dee slides out of the ring to safety.  However, moments later, Jackie Baccaro rushes down to the ring and attacks Biamonte from behind.  Failla and Baccaro do a vicious double team on Biamonte until GI Jew storms down the aisle with a chair!  Jew wields the chair like a madman and Failla and Biamonte quickly retreat!  “Opium of the People” blasts onto the speakers and a staredown ensues as we take a commercial break.

-- COMMERCIAL BREAK #2 --

SEGMENT 4:  BACKSTAGE:
As we return from commercial, we are taken ringside to Victor Troy and Paul Ferrara.

Troy:  Alright folks, a lot of craziness right before the break!  And listen to this!  We have just received word from PWA owner Bryan Conroy and ORA president Helen Summers that the Lt. Commissioner F. Anthony Annetta has signed a main event for tonight, based on what has just happened in the ring.  Tonight, it will be the ORA Champion Anthony Failla teaming with the International Champion Jackie Baccaro to take on the duo of GI Jew and James Biamonte!

Ferrara:  That should be tremendous!

The camera then cuts backstage, where Steve Beovich is sitting with a back of ice on his shoulder after his battle with the Alaskan Monster. The Omega winces every now and then, but his eyes light up when Justin Schenck, Scott Hosemann, Darrin Giles, and Greg Price come to greet him. Noticeably confused by their appearance, Beovich stands up, still holding the ice over his shoulder.

Beovich: What do you guys want?

Schenck: Relax there, Omega... I just wanted to say that I was impressed with what you did out there. You put up a great fight against Solomon. I seriously thought you were going to take that freak out.

Beovich: Yeah... I’ve had better days.

Schenck: I think I can offer you just that.

Beovich: What?

Schenck: What I’m trying to say is that I have a proposition for you. You see, Kris Anthony was injured and we haven’t any idea when he’ll be coming back, which puts us in a bit of a spot, because Greg Price will need a new tag team partner in The Naturals. Seeing how well you did out there, I think you would make a great addition to The Legacy. What do you say?

Beovich: Uh... I don’t know. I’d have to think about it.

Schenck: That’s just fine, Omega. Rest up, and get back to me whenever you can.

Schenck, Scott Hosemann, and Darrin Giles walk off, and Greg Price nods to Beovich before following The Legacy. Beovich looks on, and the expression on his face denotes that he is intrigued by their offer.

SEGMENT 5:  MATCH 2:  DARRIN GILES & DEXTER P. WELLINGTON VS. PWA PROGRESSIVE CHAMPION RENEGADE & SCYTHE:
Referee:  Billy Vargas

Mozart's "Marriage of Figaro" begins to play, prompting a loud set of boos from the crowd as Winston and Dexter P. Wellington make their way to the ring.

Troy: I certainly cannot condone the actions taken by these two men last week. First, they came out and completely mocked Scythe's Asian descent, but once he came out, they attacked him and laid him out cold.

Ferrara: I don't condone it either, but it was effective. Their goal was to send a message to Scythe and they did just that.

Wellington steps into the ring and disrobes as Earshot's "Control" hits for the entrance of Darrin Giles. Justin Schenck leads the former Progressive Champion down to the ring amidst a reaction similar to Wellington's.

Troy: After the way Darrin Giles returned to the PWA last week, I know Renegade can't wait to get his hands on him. That team of him and Scythe is sure to be fired up tonight.

Giles gets into the ring and shakes hands with his partner, but only the roar of the crowd can be heard once "Piggy Bank" by 50 Cent hits and Renegade storms out! The ill-tempered Progressive Champion throws his belt to the ground and slides into the ring to go right after Giles!

Wellington throws him off and a double team assault commeces until Linkin Park's "With You" takes over. The entrance clouds with smoke, but Scythe blazes right through it and darts to the ring! The Modern-Day Samurai comes only in his ring gear, but Wellington takes off once he sees him!

Troy: Wellington is trying to get outta here!

Scythe chases Wellington out of the ring, where he throws Winston in his way. Scythe mows Winston down with a clothesline, but the distraction gets him mowed down by one from Wellington.

Inside the ring, Giles stomps Renegade down into a corner before lifting him up and Irish whipping him to the other side. Giles follows him in, but Renegade hits him with a kick to the face. Giles is stood up by the blow, but Renegade sends him down with a spinning roundhouse kick. Renegade covers for a two count and Giles kicks out.

The champion looks to his corner for a tag, but Scythe is just getting up off the ringside floor. Renegade turns around and gets laid out by a big left hand from Giles, who soon tags out to Wellington. The crowd boos as Wellington climbs into the ring and hits Renegade with a stomp to the back.

Scythe gets up outside the ring and rolls inside, causing Billy Vargas to go after him, but Scythe shoves the official aside and takes Wellington down with a spear! Giles gets in to break them up, but he is also taken down by Renegade!

Ferrara: This is breaking out all over again!

Troy: I can understand Renegade, he's a hothead, but I have never seen Scythe like this! He's throwing the rulebook out the window!

Vargas finds a way to back Scythe up off of Wellington, but he can't stop Renegade from pounding away on Giles in a corner. While Scythe exits the ring, Wellington sneaks up behind Renegade and grabs him by the tights for a schoolboy! Vargas gets back into position and counts one...two...three!

"Marriage of Figaro" replays and Wellington quickly rushes out of the ring and up the ramp. Giles and Winston are not far behind, and Scythe comes into the ring to share an angry stare with his rival as he backpedals up the ramp.

Troy: That wasn't fair! He got Renegade from behind and he pulled the tights to do it!

Ferrara: But thats not the real story. Dex just pinned The Progressive Champion in the middle of the ring. If Renegade leaves with the belt at Animosity, he's got to be considered a top contender for it, if not the top one.

Troy: Yeah, if there is anything left once Scythe is done with him. We'll be right back.

-- COMMERCIAL BREAK #4 --

SEGMENT 7:  MATCH 3:  SUBMISSION MATCH:  THE ICEMAN JASON CALYSTO VS. INFERNUS:
Referee:  Tom Stevens
Back at ringside, “Smash Sumthin” by Redman and Adam F hits and Infernus makes his way to the ring, accompanied by Walter Gindin.  Infernus looks focused tonight, realizing he has been provided with an excellent opportunity to soften up his partner Solomon’s Animosity opponent.  As Infernus readies himself, “F*ckin in the Bushes” by Oasis cues and the Detroit fans explode as The Iceman Jason Calysto appears at the top of the ramp.  Calysto walks down to the ring with a look of complete seriousness on his face, rolling into the ring, looking to get a fast start.  However, Infernus stomps on him as he does, prompting the bell to ring.

Troy:  Infernus is taking it RIGHT to Calysto!

Ferrara:  Well Troy, in a submission match like this, that is absolutely necessary.

Infernus tries to keep Calysto grounded right from the start of the match, but quickly realizes the intense difficulty in doing so.  Calysto powers back to his feet, despite fiendish kicks and punches from Infernus, countering back and nailing Infernus with a devastating array of knife-edge chops.  Infernus is staggered, and Calysto moves in, grabbing him and irish whipping him hard into the corner.  Calysto runs in after him and follows with a big clothesline that stuns the former International Champion.  Infernus staggers forward and Calysto grabs him, destroying him with a merciless overhead belly-to-belly suplex!

Troy:  My God!  Did you see the impact there?!

Ferrara:  Calysto has gotten into his groove, Troy, and Infernus is going to have an uphill battle to get back into it.  Infernus kept a submission match with Calysto really competitive back at Revival in December, but right now, he is being completely outclassed.

Calysto moves in on Infernus, nailing him with repeated punches and kicks.  As he does so, Walter Gindin jumps onto the apron, screaming to the official.  Calysto turns around to approach Gindin, but when he does so, Infernus nails him with a vicious low blow that doubles him over!  With Calysto reeling on the mat, Infernus signals for Calysto’s Crossface!

Troy:  Are you kidding me?!  He’s going to try to beat Calysto with his own move!

Ferrara:  It seems kind of early for it, but here we go!

Infernus sets Calysto up for it, looking to lock in the hold, but Calysto counters out, whips Infernus against the ropes, and nails him with the spinning heel kick!  The fans cheer wildly, and Gindin jumps back onto the apron.  This time, Calysto turns around, charges at him, and mafia kicks him right off the apron!  Then, Calysto goes up to the top and, as Infernus rises, nails him with the Bottom Line!  With the fans on their feet, Calysto signals for the Crossface!

Troy:  Here it is!  If Calysto locks it on, this match is history!

Ferrara:  Can’t argue there!

Calysto stalks in on Infernus as he slowly rises.  When Infernus gets up, Calysto drives him down hard with the Crossface!  The Iceman cinches in hard with the hold and Infernus tries desperately to hang on.  However, after about ten seconds, the pain is too much and Infernus taps!

Troy:  That’s it!  It’s over!  Calysto wins it!

Ferrara:  What a dominating victory for the Iceman!

Troy:  Paul, I think Solomon is really going to have his hands full with Calysto on Saturday!

Ferrara:  That much is a given,
Troy!  I can’t even begin to make a prediction!

The fans explode with cheers as “F*ckin in the Bushes” hits again and Calysto exits the ring victoriously, having effectively sent a message to Solomon for their match this coming Saturday at Animosity.

WINNER VIA SUBMISSION AT 5:33:  JASON CALYSTO
