THE DOME
SEGMENT 1: INTRODUCTION:
A video package airs, highlighting events that took place
last week on Frequency, as PWA Champion Romeo and ORA Champion Anthony Failla
defeated Jaguar and GI Jew in tag team action, only for Jaguar and Jew to
recover and run them off after the match.
The opening credits then roll as
SEGMENT 2: MATCH
1: TAG TEAM CHAMPION PAUL EPTON VS.
SPEED DEMON VS. JON DULBERG:
Referee:
Billy Vargas
"Not Falling" by Mudvayne suddenly begins to play, and the crowd begins chanting obscenities towards the “Human Highlight” Jon Dulberg. He walks down to the ring, giving off the impression that he is ready to go. With a grin on his face, he steps into the ring, taunting the crowd as he waits for his opponents.
Soon enough, “A Violent Reaction” by American Head Charge hits, and Speed Demon appears from behind the curtain. The crowd floods the arena with boos as he walks down the ramp and heads into the ring. Demon and Dulberg stand toe to toe, and they begin shouting into each others face. Their conversation stops though, once "Stockholm Syndrome" by Muse blasts over the speakers and the audience fills The Dome with cheers! Paul Epton, sporting the belt over his shoulder, arrives to a fantastic ovation. They quickly turn to jeers though, when Epton slides into the ring, only to get stomped on by both Demon and Dulberg.
Troy: I have to say
though, Epton is not in a promising situation. He’s got a belt that these two
want, and that’s going to cause some problems for him.
Demon yanks Epton off the mat and launches him into the ropes, while Dulberg moves like clockwork and bounces off the opposite side, delivering a huge clothesline to an unsuspecting Epton. Dulberg pulls Epton back to his feet this time, but only to boot him in the midsection and drive him into the canvas with a suplex. Dulberg goes for the pin cover, but Demon breaks it up after the count of one!
Demon pulls Dulberg off Epton, but Dulberg responds with suplex to Demon! After several well placed stomps to the stomach, Dulberg goes back to work on Epton, but the Tag Team Champion is back on his feet! The two begin to brawl with each other, until Dulberg tosses Epton into a corner. Dulberg charges in, but Epton moves quickly and rams Dulberg’s head into the turnbuckle! The crowd begins to cheer!
Dulberg stumbles back in a daze, and Epton capitalizes on it with a whip into the cables, following it up with a clothesline to send Dulberg to the outside! The crowd cheers wildly! However, Speed Demon rushes up from behind and rolls up Epton. One! Two! Demon grabs the tights! Three!
Ferrara: And the
referee never saw it, so Speed Demon takes this win for the Lost Souls!
“A Violent Reaction” plays once again over the speakers, and Demon quickly evacuates the ring. Sporting a toothy grin, Demon looks up at the ring, where Epton stands and argues with the referee. With the crowd booing in the background, we fade out to a commercial.

SEGMENT 3: RINGSIDE:
Saliva's "Superstar II" hits the speakers, and a mixture
of boos and overall confusion comes from the crowd as Superstar Scott Hosemann
walks down to the ramp, alone. He climbs into the ring and quickly demands a
microphone as the crowd slowly quiets.
Hosemann: In just a few days, I'll be meeting a man that I
once considered a friend of mine, a man who I was once proud to stand by. But
now, I don't even wanna look you in the face Briggs!
The crowd boos, but they cheer once Sevendust's "Trust"
abruptly hits. Briggs soon marches through the curtain and down the ramp before
climbing into the ring with another mic.
Briggs: Can't look me in the face huh? Well Scotty, since
you want to come out here and spout your mouth off about me, I'm not giving you
a choice but to say what you have to say in front of my face. So proceed...with
extreme caution.
Hosemann: Look big man, your threats don't mean a damn
thing to me. They are just about as empty as your skull. You wanna know why I'm
so upset Briggs? It’s because you could have had it all man! Your job was very
simple. All you had to do was follow me to the learning tree, listen to what I
had to say, and in no time you could have been a dominant force around here.
Justin knew what he was talking about. That's why I'm in The Legacy, I'm the
veteran who is teaching these young guys how to dominate this industry. I
wanted that for you Briggs. But what did you have to go and do? You
had to go off and do your own thing. I've won many titles in this business, but
apparently, you knew more than I did. You were able be better than I was, and
what did that give the both of us? Loss after loss after loss. The Legacy is
not about losing Briggs. And it’s for that reason that Justin made the decision
he made about you. I tried to convince him to turn the other cheek, but I was
fighting a losing battle. Do you know why that is? It’s because he was right
about you. When a swimmer gets ready to race, he shaves his entire body to
remove any extra drag that will slow him down and cause him to lose. So that is
what happened to you. You were shaved off, so we wouldn't lose the race here.
And after the disrespect you showed me, I can't say that I'm sorry about it.
Briggs: That's fine with me Scott. I don't want you to
feel sorry for what happened to me. In fact, I'm glad it happened. Yeah, I was
supposed to learn from you, one of the most talented wrestlers to ever grace a
ring. But maybe I should have been listening to you about three years ago when
you won matches. Ever since joining the PWA, you've gotten zilch in terms of
gold, so yeah I wanted to do my own thing rather than follow down your path of
mediocrity. You see Scott, I could had just left The Legacy amicably.
You guys go your way, and I go mine. But what you and Justin did was make
a choice. And for that choice, all of you will pay. Two already have, and
at Animosity, you too shall pay the price for crossing me. You wanna talk about
swimmers and shaving drag? Have one of them drag your broken and beaten ass out
of the ring when I'm through with you in
"Trust" hits again and the fans cheer Briggs as he
climbs out of the ring, never turning around to see Hosemann's angry face as we
head to a commercial break.

SEGMENT 4: JUMBOTRON:
As we return from commercial, we are taken to a video shot
outside The Dome in the daytime. A
caption on the bottom of the screen reads “Earlier Today.” We can see fans lined up for blocks outside
the ticket windows, along with lining up for autographs with PWA superstars
Jaguar, Scythe, Progressive Champion Renegade, and Commissioner Kerry Cox.
Cox:
We’re here today to promote Everlasting Epic IV, which will be held on
August 20th, emanating from four different countries over the course of the
evening. One of the host venues for the
show is, of course, The Dome here in Johannesburg, and today, not only do we
have Frequency here, but tickets went on sale for the Johannesburg portion of
the event, and I can proudly announce that they have sold out in under two
minutes.
Scythe: It’s a great feeling to be out
here, meeting these great fans, and knowing that they are gonna be out in full
force for their portion of Everlasting Epic.
I can’t wait.
Jaguar: We’ve got
some real passionate fans here in
The crowd cheers rabidly and the video shot ends, taking
us back inside the building to Victor Troy and Paul Ferrara.
Troy:
That’s right folks, on August 20th, PWA’s annual pay-per-view
extravaganza, Everlasting Epic, will be emanating live from four different
countries! The broadcast will start in
SEGMENT 5: BACKSTAGE:
The camera shifts backstage, where Solomon is conversing
with his agent Walter Gindin.
Gindin:
Oh boy.
Solomon: Wherever we are, it’s going to
be to win the world championship, because I’m beating Calysto in the submission
match next weekend at Animosity, and then winning the Symphony of Destruction
in June to go on to the main event of Everlasting Epic.
Just then, Jason Calysto enters the dressing room.
Calysto:
Is that so?
Solomon: Damn right it is. I wouldn’t have said it if it wasn’t.
Calysto: Well, we’ll see about
that. As a matter of fact, I have a
little proposition for you. That’s kind
of why I’m here.
Solomon: I was hoping there was a
reason. What is it?
Calysto: Next week, I’ve challenged your
buddy Infernus to a submission match as a tune-up, and I was granted it. I’m challenging you to do the same next week.
I’m challenging you to take a submission
match next week on Frequency as a tune-up, to show me and everyone else exactly
what you’ve got as we head into Animosity.
Here’s the catch: the opponent has to be comparable to Infernus. In every way.
That means, former International Champion, former Progressive Champion,
former Tag Team Champion, but never held the world title. Anyone that fits the criteria is fine by
me. Do you accept?
Solomon: I could say no, but there’s no
point. I’d kind of relish the opportunity
to frighten the bejesus out of you days before our match. You’re on.
I’ll find someone comparable to Infernus and face him in a submission
match next week.
Calysto: I’ll be watching.
Solomon: You’d better. You might learn something.
Calysto: Remember who’s in the Hall of
Fame and who isn’t.
Solomon: …Yet. I’ve said it once, and I’ll say it again,
Calysto. Your rep doesn’t scare me. I’ve beaten you once, and at Animosity, I’ll
beat you again.
Calysto: We’ll see about that, Solomon.
Solomon: Yes. We will.

SEGMENT 7: MATCH
2: NON-TITLE MATCH: PWA WORLD HEAVYWEIGHT CHAMPION ROMEO VS. GI
JEW:
Referee:
Matt Hansen
"Opium of The People" by Slipknot hits the speakers,
bringing the crowd's cheering to a high pitch for the arrival of GI Jew. Jew
rides his custom motorcycle out to the top of the ramp before racing down to
and around the ring and coming to a stop. He climbs up the steps and into the
ring before posing for all four sides of the arena. GI Jew removes his leather
jacket as three D-Bombs explode on the ramp. B.G.'s "I Want It"
begins to play and the reaction changes completely once Da Playboi arrives.
Ferrara: Those are few and far between for him, but as
long as he's got the PWA Title, things are good as far as Da Playboi is
concerned.
Romeo walks up the ring steps and glares at GI Jew before unstrapping
his overcoat, unhooking the belt from around his waist and holding it high
for all to see as he poses on the turnbuckles. The music slowly dies down and
Romeo hands his belt to Matt Hansen.
Troy: The title is not on the line, but this is one of the
most compelling matchups we could ever see in the PWA. These are two of the
most decorated athletes on the roster.
Ferrara: Absolutely, they are the only men to win The
Grand Slam. That means only the two of them have held the Progressive,
International, Tag Team and World Heavyweight Championships in the PWA. I guess
we'll find out who is really the better man right now.
The bell sounds and cheers rise from the crowd as the former
friends lock up in the middle of the ring. Jew appears to be getting the upper
hand, but Romeo quickly takes the lead with a knee to the midsection. He clubs
GI Jew in the back hard, sending him down to one knee. Romeo hits the ropes to
further his attack, but Jew springs up and floors him with a high-impact
clothesline! He makes a cover for one...two...and Romeo kicks out.
Jew grabs the champion by the hair and forces him back into a
corner where he slaps a hard chop against Romeo's chest before whipping him
across to the other side. Romeo stumbles out of the corner and Jew lowers
his head for a back body drop, but Romeo makes him do a headstand once he nails
him with a big DDT!
Romeo covers for a two count, but the damage has already been done
to GI Jew's neck. Romeo hunkers his weight down on the area with a front
facelock that has Jew pounding the mat in a search for an escape. The crowd
begins to cheer for Jew's release, but Romeo keeps his leverage advantage solid
by propping himself up on his knees.
The space provided gives GI Jew enough room to get to his knees
and then his feet. Romeo clenches tighter, but Jew runs Romeo back into a
corner. Romeo keeps the hold on, but Jew rams his back into the turnbuckles
over and over again. After four shoulder thrusts, Romeo releases the hold and
Jew scores with a desperate clothesline that sends him flying over the top to
the arena floor!
Jew goes to the outside and gives Romeo no time to breathe once he
lifts him up and throws him back first into the steel ring steps. Jew gets him
up and nails him with a big, gloved right hand before rolling Romeo back into
the ring. Jew slides under the ropes and makes a cover for one...two...and
Romeo gets a shoulder up.
Romeo staggers up to his feet and turns into Jew's grasp. He lifts
him up and drops the champion neck first across the top rope. Romeo stumbles
backwards from the Hot Shot and Jew drops him right on his head with a
belly-to-back suplex! Jew gets to his feet, and the crowd roars as he starts to
stalk Romeo from behind to deliver The Gore.
The crowd boos as Anthony Failla runs down the ramp and drops his
ORA Title there before sliding into the ring. Jew sees him coming and knocks
him down with a series of right hands, but he is taken down from behind by
Romeo! Within no time, Failla is back up and both champions are putting the
boots to the
GI Jew is covering up, but helpless to the blows as both men stomp
away on him. A huge array of cheers is heard, and both men clear the ring once
Jaguar zooms down the ramp and into the ring with a chair. Romeo and Failla
backpedal up the ramp, with Jaguar intensely keeping them at bay with the
weapon as we go to a break.
