THE COVERED HALL AT CAIRO STADIUM

CAIRO, EGYPT

SEGMENT 7:  MATCH 3:  BRIGGS VS. THE NATURALS:
 Referee:  Matt Hansen

“Control” by Earshot blasts over the speakers, and the audience makes it known that they aren’t pleased to see The Legacy’s Justin Schenck and The Naturals. The Legacy manager wears his usual confident smirk, while the former Tag Team Champions follow suit. The Naturals climb into the ring and get themselves ready as they await their opponent.

Ferrara: The Naturals look pretty upbeat, tonight.

Troy: They ought to be. It’s a handicapped match in their favor!

Before long, “Trust” by Sevendust hits, and the monstrous Briggs arrives to a huge ovation from the crowd! He offers no acknowledgement though, as all of his concentration is focused on his competition for the night. He stampedes down the ramp and slides into the ring, but The Naturals immediately go to work with stomps to his back!

Troy: Let’s not forget what’s on the line though. If Briggs picks up a win, he’ll go on to face Scott Hosemann at Animosity.

Ferrara: But if he loses, Briggs can never interfere with The Legacy again!

The Naturals try to keep Briggs on the mat, but the monster pries himself up and unleashes a vicious double clothesline, sending The Naturals flat on their backs! Briggs peels Greg Price off the mat and launches him into a corner, but before he can follow it up, Kris Anthony is back on his feet and slugging away at the big man. Briggs takes the time to retaliate, but Price gets himself out of the corner and assists Anthony in the two on one assault on Briggs. Anthony and Price batter Briggs back and forth with seemingly no end in sight. The crowd continues to boo.

Troy: Even if it’s Briggs, in a two on one that he has to deal with. That’s no easy task for anyone.

Ferrara: I’d say that Briggs chose the wrong people to piss off.

Troy: But it was the other way around.

The Naturals make a pinball out of Briggs, but the crowd wills him back into the match, and the monster explodes on Anthony with a heavy forearm! Cheers start raining down now, as Briggs torpedoes Price into a corner. Briggs follows in behind and crushes Price with a splash! Price is dazed, and Briggs goes back to do more damage to Anthony. However, Anthony is already back on his feet and charging in! Briggs slips out of the way, just in time for Anthony to flatten Price against the turnbuckle! Anthony stumbles back and looks horrified at his mistake!

Troy: Anthony just hit his own partner by accident!

Ferrara: This isn’t good for The Naturals!

Briggs grasps onto Price by the neck and violently tosses him out of the ring through the ropes! Schenck is shocked and goes to check up on Price, as Briggs continues his onslaught by booting Anthony in the stomach! Anthony doubles over, and Briggs sets him. He lifts Anthony up onto his shoulders, before performing a sick sit-out powerbomb that takes the wind out of Anthony! Briggs makes the cover! One! Two! Three!

Troy: He’s done it! What a decisive victory for Briggs!

Ferrara: The Legacy can’t be too happy about this! Now Briggs will face Scott Hosemann at Animosity!

“Trust” plays once again in the background, and Briggs turns to leave. However, the referee notices that Anthony is not moving. Calling down the medics, Anthony is set onto a stretcher and is carted out of the arena. Schenck is mortified at his predicament and dwindling numbers.

SEGMENT 9:  BACKSTAGE:

The shot catches Renegade and Liz Rush walking down a corridor backstage conversing amicably. Their moods change for the worst once they run into Walter Gindin and the Women's Champion, Keiko Ishida.

Gindin: Well, well, if it isn't the lovely Miss Rush and our reigning Progressive Champion. May I ask where your belt is champ?

Renegade: In its usual place, far away from you.

Gindin: Charming. Actually, we're glad we ran into you. Well not you Renegade, you're never pleasant. But Liz, you are a vision of beauty and your Women's Champion has been wanting to speak with you for quite some time. Keiko...

Ishida: Liz, it no make sense for your return. You never be champion. I always be champion. You get in ring with Keiko Ishida, you crushed like bug.

Rush: Crushed like a bug? How about I crush your ugly face right now?!

Ishida: Meet me in ring.

Rush: Let's go!

Gindin: Whoa, whoa! Ladies, this is just a two hour show. We don't have enough time, and my client does not wrestle at a Frequency if the world is not gonna see it televised. Even if it’s in a third world country like Cairo. (Crowd boos) And besides Liz, you haven't done anything to earn a shot at the title yet. Your one match meant nothing to us. The most we'll give you is a tag match.

Rush: Tag match?

Gindin: That's right. Since your little boyfriend is on the shelf, how about you team with your buddy Renegade against Keiko and Infernus next week on Frequency?

Renegade: Done.

Gindin: Alright, we'll see you then. Let's go champ.

Gindin and Ishida walk away from the scene, but the Women's Champion doesn't even glance back at Rush, instead ignoring her as Renegade holds her back from jumping the Japanese superstar.

SEGMENT 10:  BACKSTAGE:
The shot cuts to a dressing room, where the crowd boos as Romeo laces his boots. The PWA Championship belt rests on the couch next to him, but it nearly falls off as Romeo rises abruptly. The camera swings around to see what the commotion is, and it comes in the form of Anthony Failla, who swings his ORA title belt over his shoulder as he stands directly across from Da Playboi.

Romeo: Why do you always pop up at the wrong moments?

Failla: Every moment that I'm in is the right moment. And that includes our match out there in a few minutes. I'm just here to make sure you're ready. We've got Jaguar and GI Jew tonight, and I'm not lookin' to take an L.

Romeo: I'm gonna tell you like this cuz, I haven't lost a match since winning this. So if anyone should be worried about taking the L tonight, it should be me worrying about you.

Failla: About me? I haven't lost since winning the ORA Title either.

Romeo: Hold on bro, I watched that match you had and you didn't win a damn thing. I beat Jag 1,2,3. You didn't. You got your belt handed to you. I earned mine. This belt says PWA World Heavyweight Wrestling Champion, and since this is the PWA, that means I'm the big dog around here.

Failla: Well there would be no PWA if it weren't for the ORA, and since my belt says ORA World Heavyweight Wrestling Champion, that means I'm the best.

Romeo: Well maybe we should just scrap the tag match and see who the man is right here, right now.

Failla: Oh, I'm cool with that, but the match has already been signed. Let’s just go out there and beat these two chumps, and after we beat them at Animosity, we could get it on.

Romeo: You just hold up your end tonight and make sure you hang onto that piece of junk. I'll see you in the ring.

Failla stares coldly at Romeo as Da Playboi grabs his championship belt and walks out of the room.

SEGMENT 11:  RINGSIDE:
"With You" by Linkin Park hits unexpectedly, and the crowd bursts into cheers as Scythe begins to make his way to the ring. He slaps hands with the fans around the ramp before rolling into the ring and hopping up on the turnbuckles. The Modern-Day Samurai salutes the capacity crowd before asking for a microphone.

Scythe: Unlike most people that come out here and take up a lot of time, I'm going to make this short and sweet. Last week on Frequency, Dexter Wellington got in my face backstage and then came out during my match to distract me. Now I admit, I let that get the better of me and I left my teammates in the ring, allowing them to be beaten. But just last night at our show in Algeria, Dexter and Winston wandered out again, giving yet another distraction to allow Mike Griffin to beat me with The Culmination. Dexter, I don't take kindly to losing and I have lost one match too many on account of you, so why don't you bring your little errand boy on out here and ---

Scythe is cut off as Mozart's "Marriage of Figaro" plays over the speakers, but it ends with no sign of Wellington or Winston in sight. Instead, they pop up on the Jumbotron, with Winston pouring Wellington a glass of brandy as the prim and proper superstar sits in an elegant room in an equally elegant robe.

Wellington: Scythe, how good to see you again. I must apologize for my absence this evening. Being on this terribly long tour of the netherworld has simply tired me out, so I needed to go to the finest hotel here in Egypt to get back to what I'm used to...the finer things in life.

Scythe: It’s just like you to not show your face here tonight Dexter. I can't say I'm surprised. But what I am out here to do is issue you a challenge. You seem to be so interested in what I'm doing in the ring lately, how about you show your real interest by stepping into the ring with me at Animosity?

Wellington: Ha. You came out there to say that? I thought you would say something of actual importance. Scythe, understand the situation here. I have beaten each and ever superstar that I have faced here in The PWA. And I know you currently hold a certain PWA record, something about most pounds of rice eaten or what have you, but you are no different. If a match at Animosity is what you want, consider it done. But also consider yourself what you have been for a long time, a beaten man.

Scythe: Beaten man huh? I've beaten punks like you before and it will be my extreme pleasure to do so again. At Animosity, this Samurai is gonna cut...you...down!

"With You" hits again and Scythe drops the microphone as Wellington takes a sip of brandy.

Troy: It’s official, we're going to see Dexter Wellington face off with Scythe at Animosity!

Ferrara: Dex doesn't look too concerned.

Troy: He better be. Scythe is an angry man and I'm sure he'll be looking to take it out on him in Indianapolis.

SEGMENT 12:  MATCH 4:  JAGUAR & GI JEW VS. PWA CHAMPION ROMEO & ORA CHAMPION ANTHONY FAILLA:
 Referee:  Tom Stevens

A loud blast of pyro explodes from under the stage as "Shootouts" by Jadakiss and Styles P hits the speakers. The boos flood the building as Anthony Failla makes his walk down the ramp to the ring. He climbs inside the squared circle and holds his ORA Championship belt for the crowd to see as three D-Bombs ignite on the ramp as "I Want It" by B.G. begins to play. The jeers stay steady for Romeo as he walks out, but The PWA Champion simply smirks at the capacity crowd and climbs into the ring. He poses on the turnbuckles with his belt raised high as well, but turns around to find Failla staring at him. Romeo walks right up to The ORA Champion and both men continue the bickering that they began earlier tonight.

Troy: These two guys just cannot get along.

Ferrara: They're arguing over who they feel is the real World's Champion, but neither will have their belts much longer if they can't focus against a team as dangerous as Jaguar and GI Jew tonight.

Troy: That's right. Jaguar and GI Jew have teamed many times and actually won the PWA Tag Team Titles as bitter enemies. They were beating good teams when they hated one another, they can beat anyone there is united.

Romeo and Failla's arguing stops once "Real Big" by Mannie Fresh begins, but the crowd's cheering only begins as Jaguar walks through the curtain. He points to each side of the arena before throwing his arms up in front of his blazing fireball pyrotechnics. The Hot Boy brushes off his leather jacket and adjusts his shades before walking to the ring and climbing inside. His opponents look on in angst as he hops on the turnbuckles and poses before handing his jacket, shades and bandana to the ring attendant. The crowd barely comes down before Slipknot's "Opium of The People" brings a huge ovation for GI Jew as he speeds down the ramp to the ring. Jew parks his bike at the bottom of the ramp and hops into the ring, staring intensely at the man who he will face at Animosity for The ORA Championship.

Troy: The history between these four men is long and well-documented. We have the only two Grand Slam winners in PWA history in the ring.

Ferrara: That's true, but what’s also true is that there are three men in the ring that have beaten Jaguar for the PWA Championship at one time or another. I don't think its gonna be a good night with all that bad karma in the ring for him.

Troy: Interesting, we shall see.

The bell sounds and GI Jew steps out of the ring first, followed by Romeo. Jaguar and Failla start the match with a collar-and-elbow tie-up that sees Failla get the early advantage. He uses his brute power to back Jagaur up into a corner, but Jaguar's speed advantage gets him out before Failla can connect with a clubbing blow. Failla turns around, but Jaguar peppers him with two rights to the face before sending him down with a clothesline.

Jaguar grabs Failla by the head to get him up, but he is nailed in the midsection with a closed fist. Failla follws up with another before whipping Jaguar to the ropes and downing him with a boot to the face. Romeo demands a tag and Failla gives him one, causing the crowd to boo loudly.

Romeo measures Jaguar up before blasting him with a right hand that sends him back down to the mat. Romeo follows up by grabbing Jaguar and tossing him to the ropes for a clothesline, but Jaguar ducks under and takes him down with a flying clothesline of his own! Jaguar gets Romeo up and punches him twice in the face before kicking him in the midsection and spiking him down with a DDT! Jaguar covers for one...two...and Romeo powers out.

Jaguar tags out to GI Jew, and the attack only gets worse as Jew backs Romeo into a corner and kicks him until he goes down. Tom Stevens gets in between to create a break, but Failla takes a swipe at GI Jew at the same time. The distraction gives Romeo enough time to reach his feet and barrel into GI Jew with a big clothesline!

Ferrara: That was the first good teamwork we've seen from the champs thus far.

Romeo tags Failla back in and The ORA Champion delivers an overt chokehold that is broken before the count of five. Failla gets GI Jew up and clubs him twice in the back before getting him into position for a pieldriver. Failla tries to lift, but GI Jew shifts his weight and sends him up and over with a back body drop! Failla hits the canvas hard and gets up slowly as GI Jew rushes to get into position for The Gore.

Failla reaches his feet and Jew takes off, but Failla lunges aside and tags Romeo just as Jew barely misses him and catches Stevens in the ribcage!

Ferrara: And there goes the ref!

Troy: Tom Stevens just took a shot to the ribs with that Gore! He's gonna need some help out here!

Romeo rushes into the ring and clubs GI Jew in the back before trying an Irish whip, but the whip is reversed and Jaguar runs into the ring to lift him high so GI Jew can bring him down in their version of the Dudley Death Drop!

Troy: 3D! Jaguar and GI Jew just hit Romeo with 3D and The PWA Champion is done!

Ferrara: But look, Failla has got his belt!

GI Jew gets up first, but turns into Failla entering the ring. He barely gets his hands up, but it doesn't help him one bit as Failla smashes him in the face with The ORA Title belt! Jaguar gets up next and also turns right into a Failla shot that sends him barreling to the outside of the ring in a heap! Failla follows Jaguar out of the ring, and Billy Vargas speeds to the squared circle as EMTs rush out to aid Stevens.

Troy: We've got a new ref out here, but nobody is left standing in the ring besides him.

Ferrara: Romeo is beginning to stir, but I think GI Jew is out cold.

Romeo reaches his feet first, but GI Jew is motionless on the canvas. He gets Jew off the mat and hoists him onto his shoulders before planting him with his patented reverse Death Valley Driver! Romeo turns Jew over and hooks the far leg as Vargas counts one....two....three!

"I Want It" replays through the speakers as Romeo and Failla are announced as the winners. On the outside of the ring, Failla tries to toss Jaguar into the ringpost, but he slips out of his grip and shoves him into the iron pole! Romeo holds up his belt in celebration, but he celebrates too much to see Jaguar creep back into the ring to lift him up and nail him with a Carrjack!

Troy: There you go! Romeo has had that coming for weeks!

Ferrara: He jumped him from behind!

Troy: Just like Failla did!

Jaguar helps GI Jew up to his feet as "Real Big" begins to play once more. Failla groggily pulls Romeo out of the ring and both champions retreat as the crowd cheers their heated rivals in the ring.

Troy: Jaguar and GI Jew are standing tall right now!

Ferrara: That doesn't change the fact that they lost this match, but it also doesn't change the fact that the fight between these guys is very, very far from being over.

Troy: That's definitely the truth. We'll see you next week from South Africa, goodnight everybody!
