8: MATCH 3: 20-MAN BATTLE ROYAL:
Outside Referees: Jose Soares, Matt
Hansen and Dan Martin
Back
from commercial, “F*ckin in the Bushes” hits and the
Troy: Alright, here we go! Big things at stake here!
The action gets off
to a roaring start, with rampant chaos breaking out on all levels. Solomon and Vladimir Vydrina quickly emerge
as the two dominant forces in the match, tossing men around at will, while not
many others approach them. Shortly into
the match, Solomon blasts Renegade with a shot that sends him through the ropes
and out. Moments later, Vydrina grabs
Beovich and hurls him out of the ring.
Not to be outdone, Solomon grabs Greg Price and disposes of him. Seeing this, Vydrina grabs Kris Anthony and
rids the ring of him as well! With that,
Solomon and Vydrina stand face to face in the middle of the ring and stare each
other down!
Ferrara: No one was trying to eliminate either
of these men, out of a desire to team with them at Temptation, but now they’re
fighting each other!
Solomon and Vydrina
slug it out viciously in the middle of the ring before drifting over to the
ropes. Then, as the battle continues,
the two behemoths knock themselves through the ropes and to the outside of the
ring, eliminating each other! Many in
the ring are surprised and taken aback by the two big men being
eliminated. Among the distracted is
Bishop Cross, who is promptly clotheslined out of the
ring by Scythe, prompting cheers from the crowd! However, Scythe can’t celebrate the
elimination, as he is charged from behind by Jackie Baccaro, who barrels him
through the ropes and out! Meanwhile,
elsewhere in the ring, Paul Dawkins eliminates Scott Hosemann, clotheslining him out.
Close by, the International Champion Jon Dulberg falls victim to a Jason
Calysto spinning heel kick and is sent to the outside himself. However, as Calysto gets up, Anthony Failla
grabs him and hurls him through the ropes and out. Close by, Dex
Wellington falls victim to a huge Romeo clothesline,
disposing of him.
Eight men now
remain, being Mike Griffin, Greg Tantalus, Mike Grieco, Anthony Failla, Romeo,
Jackie Baccaro, and Paul Dawkins. However,
it doesn’t remain this way for long, as
Troy: That’s it, Paul! It’s over!
And… my God! Do you see who is
left in that ring?!
The fans, who hate
both of these men, actually cheer loudly at the predicament they have found
themselves in. As Failla gets to his
feet and turns around, realizing what has happened, an unhappy look overtakes
his face, the same look that’s on the face of Mike Grieco. As we head to commercial, the fans relish in
the fact that Grieco and Failla, two hated enemies, must now be tag team
partners at Temptation.

SEGMENT 9: BACKSTAGE:
The crowd begins to boo when they see Walter Gindin
walking backstage, heading back to the locker room. Before he reaches it,
however, Jade quickly approaches him.
Jade: Walter!
Gindin: Oh, hello Jade. Don’t you have a match to get ready for?
Jade: (Sigh) ...No, Walter. I have a match at Temptation. An
important one.
Gindin: Is that right? Well, that’s good to hear.
Jade: (Frustrated) It’s for the Women’s title. Listen,
I just need you to be there. Can you do that for me?
Gindin: That IS an important match. Well, of course I’ll be there, Jade.
Jade: I’m glad to hear it. I knew I could...
Jade trails off as Women’s Champion Keiko Ishida walks onto the scene. She
stares at Jade and shakes her head.
Ishida: Jade, you dare to bring him to our match? Maybe is good idea. I need no
one next to me to be Champion. But you need all help you can get.
Ishida quietly walks off, leaving Jade behind once more, staring after her with
eyes of burning hatred.

10: RINGSIDE:
We head back to
ringside, where Commissioner Kerry Cox is standing next to a tumbler. Upon the
camera's close-up, the tumbler is shown to have several balls inside of it, all
white in color. KISS' "War Machine" ends just as Cox is beginning to speak.
Cox: Alright, as promised, the two men that remained last
in tonight's battle royal would have the opportunity to choose the names of
their tag team opponents at Temptation. So let's bring the two men on out.
"Shootouts"
hits again without the usual pyro, but with the usual boos as Anthony Failla
makes his way back to the ring. Looking nearly infuriated at his stroke of
luck, Failla steps into the ring and stands near the tumbler as "Da Repercussions" hits again. Dee Licious leads Mike
Grieco out to the same reaction, and the former International titleholder also
carries the same frustrated look on his face as he steps through the ropes.
Cox: Alright guys, this tumbler holds 18 of these white
balls. Upon winning the battle royal, both of your names were removed from the
field of 20. The two names that you pull out will be the men that
you face in your tag team match at Temptation. So Anthony, you're
first. Say when.
Cox
spins the tumbler until Failla says to stop. Cox stops the tumbler and
opens the door for Failla to reach in and grab out a ball. He hands the ball to
Cox, who opens it and reads the result.
Cox: And your first opponent will be......Da Playboi, Romeo!
The
crowd cheers as Failla nods his head in agreement.
Cox: Okay Mike, your turn. Say when.
Grieco: Don't even spin the damn thing! This is so stupid
that I have to team with this guy, I just want to get
this over with!
Grieco
reaches in and pulls out the first ball he touches before handing it to the
Commissioner. Cox opens it and cracks a slight grin once he sees the result.
Cox: You won't believe this. The man who will team with
Romeo at Temptation against you guys......is GI Jew!
The
crowd cheers loudly, but Failla is absolutely incensed at the result of the
drawing. Grieco shows no remorse and Failla goes right after him, tackling him
to the ground! Cox waves for security to run down and they quickly do so to try
and separate the two unlikely partners.
With
swarms of security holding each back, Dee Licious gets in the middle to calm
things down. What she doesn't anticipate is each man breaking away and making
another run at the other, crunching her in between their combined 540 pounds of
beef!
Both
men go to check on her, but Grieco blasts Failla with a huge right hand that
knocks him flat on his back! Not even looking at Failla after the shot, Grieco
swiftly scoops Dee Licious off the mat and exits the ring to carry her to the
back as we take a commercial break.

12: MATCH 4: PWA TAG TEAM CHAMPIONSHIP: THE LOST SOULS © VS. THE HOT BOY$:
Referee: Tom Stevens
Ring
announcer Lee Palmer climbs into the ring as the lights begin to dim and the
crowd grows restless.
Palmer: The following contest is our main event and it is
scheduled for one fall for the PWA Tag Team Championship!
Three
D-bombs explode atop the ramp as "We on Fire" hits and the Gordon Gund Arena nearly loses its roof as the crowd goes crazy!
Palmer: Introducing first, at a total combined weight of
516 pounds, from Atlanta, Georgia and Jacksonville, Florida, respectively, the
team of Da Playboi Romeo
and the PWA Heavyweight Champion of The World Jaguar, they are.....The Hot
Boy$!
The
Hot Boy$ step out into the arena to a deafening ovation from the crowd and each
points to every fan that they can before posing in front of the fiery pyro that
heats up the entire building. As the fireballs burn behind them, Romeo and
Jaguar walk down the ramp and greet the crowd before climbing into the ring and
posing on the turnbuckles.
Jaguar
holds the PWA World Heavyweight Championship belt high for all to see before
handing it to senior official Tom Stevens as "A Violent Reaction" by
American Head Charge takes over.
Palmer: And their opponents, at a total
combined weight of 442 pounds, they are The PWA Tag Team Champions,
Speed Demon and Reaper, The Lost Souls!
The
Lost Souls arrive to a loud array of boos, but the champions look more focused
than ever as they power walk down to the ring.
Troy: The Lost Souls have never scored a
pinfall or submission win over The Hot Boy$,
you know that is obviously their goal tonight.
Both
teams stare each other down as The Lost Souls hand over their belts. Stevens
holds them up and calls for the bell as Jaguar and Reaper step out of the ring.
Speed Demon and Romeo are left behind and circle the ring to start things off.
They
lock up in the middle of the ring, and Speed Demon uses the advantage held
within his namesake to execute a quick go-behind before clamping on a side
headlock. Romeo backs to the ropes and powers Demon off to the other side, but
Demon knows not to match power with Da Playboi, instead sliding between his legs and hitting a dropkick
right on the button!
Demon
quickly stomps away on Romeo to keep him down and it works for a bit, but once
Demon hits the ropes, Romeo finds an opening to drill him with a big
clothesline! Demon gets up wobbly and Romeo tosses him into the ropes again,
this time greeting him with a tilt-a-whirl slam. Romeo covers for
one...two...and Demon kicks out.
Troy: Big slam by Romeo didn't get the pinfall,
but now look what's coming.
Romeo
makes a tag to Jaguar and the World Champion enters to a rousing ovation. Demon
hurries to his corner to bring in Reaper, but before they lock up, Reaper gives
a hard kick to Jaguar's midsection. He gives another before shooting him
towards the ropes, but Jaguar reverses the whip and sends him down with a back
elbow to the jaw.
Reaper
gets up and Jaguar scoop slams him down to the mat before hitting the ropes and
dropping a big corckscrew elbow drop on his chest.
Jaguar covers for one...two..and
Reaper kicks out before three.
Jaguar
grabs Reaper by his familiar "Pain" T-shirt, but Reaper looks up to
deliver a thumb to the eye. A European uppercut later, Jaguar finds himself
reeling through the top and middle ropes on his way to the arena floor. Reaper
tags Speed Demon, who stays on the apron to bounce off the middle rope and
score with an amazing Asai moonsault!
Stevens
begins a count that reaches 7, but Speed Demon rolls in and out of the ring to
break it up. Demon heads back over to Jaguar and stomps him down as Reaper
joins in to do the same. Romeo tries to cut through the ring to save his
partner, but Stevens cuts him off at the pass, allowing The Lost Souls to
execute a vicious double team assault. After hoisting Jaguar up on their
shoulders, the champions run forward and send Jaguar head-first into the iron ringpost!
Romeo
is finally coerced into remaining on the ring apron, but Jaguar is
motionless and face-down on the arena floor mat as Speed Demon rolls back into
the ring to break up the count again. As he jaws with Romeo, Reaper turns Jag
over to find his eyes closed and blood pouring from his head like water through
a strainer!
Ferrara: Whoa, what a number they've done on Jaguar!
Stevens
begins to count again until he sees the sight at ringside. The official hops
out of the ring and checks on Jaguar before quickly signaling for medical
assistance from the back. Romeo runs around the corner to find out what the
problem is and the crowd sits in awe as EMTs rush out
from the back with a gurney ready to go.
Romeo
tries to revive Jaguar, but The Lost Souls chose not to take any chances as
they jump him from behind! Reaper and Speed Demon toss Romeo hard into the ring
steps and roll him into the ring as the medics get Jaguar onto a backboard and
roll him out of the arena.
Troy: That shot against the ringpost
completely KO'ed Jaguar and now he's being carted out
of the building, most likely to a medical facility!
Ferrara: That's a shame that the champ is out, but
the match is still going on here and Romeo is all alone!
Back
in the ring, Speed Demon clamps down on Romeo with a front facelock. The crowd pleads for Da
Playboi to fight out of it, and he does so by
reaching his feet and lifting Demon up to straddle him on the top rope! Romeo
falls to his knees to get a breather, but Demon finds a way to tag Reaper, and
he comes in to nail Romeo from behind with a clothesline to the back of the
head!
Reaper
stomps on Romeo some more before choking him with his boot. Romeo is now
obviously weakened from his earlier match and current match, so Reaper
takes advantage by scooping him up and drilling him with a long, vertical
suplex! Reaper covers for one...two...and Romeo gets an arm up before
three!
Reaper
gets off the mat and calls for his Passed Judgment Piledriver to end the match.
He scoops Romeo up and turns him upside down, but before he can drop him on his
head, Romeo hits his legs to cause Reaper to fall backwards, reversing their
positions! Reaper's head is now facing the ground and he fights his way up, but
Romeo carries him over to a corner and drops him face-first across the top
turnbuckle before scoring with a huge reverse Death Valley Driver!
Romeo
is too spent to make a cover, but he finally does and gets one....two....but
he's pulled off by Speed Demon!
Speed
Demon exits the ring before Romeo can touch him, allowing Reaper ample time to
get to his feet. Romeo turns around as Reaper tries a clothesline, but Da Playboi ducks it. Reaper hits
the ropes and returns, but Romeo boots him in the gut and adjust
his black bandana before getting him into position for The Dre Day Bomb! Romeo
is poised to complete the move, but before he can lift him up, Speed Demon runs
back in and nails Romeo with a spinning heel kick right between the eyes!
Romeo
falls hard to the mat as Reaper falls flat on his back. Seeing Romeo down,
Reaper pulls himself up and makes a tag to Speed
Demon. Demon quickly heads up to the top rope as Reaper gets Romeo into
position for a powerbomb of his own. Reaper lifts him up with his chest facing
Speed Demon, but instead of driving him down, Speed Demon jumps off into a
somersault flip that drives him down atop the chest of Romeo to complete New
Dawn Fading! Speed Demon hooks a leg as Stevens counts
to an academic three and asks for the bell.
Troy: New Dawn Fading is a dangerous move, but we've got
to worry about the well-being of Jaguar right now. Romeo gave it a helluva shot, but The Lost Souls
were just too much for one man.
Troy: Sad to say, you might be right Paul. We'll see you
this weekend from The Mohegan Sun folks!
