TUESDAY, JANUARY 17, 2006 * CHARLES KOCH ARENA * WICHITA, KANSAS

Back from break, “Dance of the Warrior” hits the speakers, and a mixed reaction meets newcomer Soaring Phoenix as he heads to the ring to be interviewed by Nick Cade. The mysterious Shamanic Navajo Native American steps into the ring, next to Cade as the crowd dies down.

Cade: First of all, Soaring
Phoenix, welcome to the PWA. You debuted two weeks ago out of the blue, with no hype, and no warning, and thus far, you are 2-0. My question is, why are you here in the PWA, and what do you hope to accomplish?

Phoenix: (talking slowly and methodically) I am here, Nick, because I have long put myself in the class of the very best wrestlers in the world, and the time had come to truly test that theory out. I am here in the PWA to rise to the top, and to be the very best I can be. My name is Soaring Phoenix, because like a lot of wrestlers that came before me, I have been written off throughout my career, told I would never be good enough, only to overcome the odds, and soar, rising from the ashes like the phoenix! The PWA will be no different. None of you people have any idea what to expect me. You’re not sure whether to boo me, to cheer me, or what to expect in that ring from me, and that’s alright. You’ll find that all out in due time. Just know that Soaring Phoenix has arrived in the PWA, and I plan to make an impact. Which brings me to a certain individual. John Wolfe, you seemed to take exception to the fact that I beat your partner two weeks ago, and then expressed an interest in my match against Victor Simon last week. So, Mr. Wolfe, just know that if you’d like a more hands-on look at me, I’m right here.

Seconds later, “Stockholm Syndrome” by Muse hits the speakers and John Wolfe makes his way to the ring to lots of cheers, a microphone in tow. Wolfe stands face to face with Phoenix and begins speaking.

Wolfe: You’re right here, huh? Great. Phoenix, I just came out here now to let you know that I, too, am right here. And I don’t have a problem with you for now. But I’m watching you. And when you wanna go, I’ll be ready to bloody go. But I’m reserving judgment on you for now. I haven’t decided whether I’m impressed with you, or if I just want to kick your ass. But, we’ll find that out in due time, won’t we.

Phoenix: I suppose we will.

Wolfe and Phoenix then stare each other down tensely.

Troy: Something’s gonna give here eventually!

Hosemann: You’re right,
Troy. To me, it’s not a matter of “if,” it’s a matter of “when” these two get it on.

Troy: Agreed! Folks, we’ll be right back! Our big four-team elimination main event is coming up in just a few moments! Stay tuned!

-- COMMERCIAL BREAK --

David Draiman's "Forsaken" hits the speakers and we see a graphic appear on the screen that reads "PWA Forsaken Report."  From there, the shot takes us to a backstage set and PWA reporter Ron O'Brien, who is standing in front of a backdrop featuring the Forsaken logo.

O'Brien:  Hello ladies and gentlemen, my name is Ron O'Brien and this is the Revival report.  The Progressive Wrestling
Alliance will return to pay-per-view this Saturday night, January 21, when we invade the Xcel Energy Center in St. Paul, Minnesota to bring you Forsaken.  The whole card has been announced, so let's get right to it!

In the insane Seven Deadly Sins match, Jackie Baccaro defends the PWA Championship against Solomon, Mike Griffin, Greg Tantalus, Jason Calysto, Romeo, Scythe, and Jaguar! Seven of these men participated in this match last year, and Baccaro, the new champion, will make his Seven Deadly Sins debut! Will that put him at a disadvantage? Eight men, seven falls, it's the most intense 70 minutes of wrestling you'll find all year!

With the International Championship on the line, James Biamonte, along with Jade, will try to fend off the onslaught of ultra-popular Showtime Damon Savage!

In a match signed this weekend, Paul Dawkins and Renegade will defend the Tag Team Championship in a Revival rematch against Army of the Damned members Loki and Reaper!

In a hardcore rules match for the Progressive Championship, the Hall of Famer, PWA CEO Kerry Cox, will defend the gold against Dexter P. Wellington!

And, in a heated grudge match, Bishop Cross will collide with GI Jew!

All this and more coming your way Saturday, January 21 from
St. Paul, Minnesota!  It's Forsaken, exclusively on pay-per-view!  That's all for this week, folks.  For the Forsaken report, I'm Ron O'Brien, saying see you Saturday night in St. Paul!

-- COMMERCIAL BREAK --

Back from our final break, “Hear Me” by Darkseed is blaring over the speakers and Solomon is making his way to the ring, alongside Walter Gindin. Hollywood Mike Griffin, with Justin Schenck, and Romeo are already in the ring, as are Scythe and Jason Calysto. Solomon enters the ring, and suddenly, “Things Done Changed” by Notorious BIG overtakes the speakers, and a bevy of boos swarms over the crowd as the PWA World Heavyweight Champion Jackie Baccaro heads down the aisle, alongside manager Vulture. Solomon and Baccaro meet up and enter the ring, and moments later, “I’m On It” by the Purple Ribbon All-Stars hits and Jaguar emerges to a thunderous ovation! Jaguar waits at the foot of the ramp, and moments later, “Hey You” by Simon Says blares onto the speakers, and Greg Tantalus makes his arrival to a huge greeting from the Wichita crowd! Jaguar and Tantalus meet up at the foot of the ramp, and dart into the ring, setting forth a melee!

Troy: Alright, here we go!

Hosemann: These guys aren’t even going to wait for the bell!

* FOUR-TEAM ELIMINATION MATCH: JAGUAR & GREG TANTALUS VS.
HOLLYWOOD MIKE GRIFFIN & ROMEO VS. PWA CHAMPION JACKIE BACCARO & SOLOMON VS. SCYTHE & JASON CALYSTO *
Referee: Matt Hansen
The bell sounds and, quickly, the dust is settled, with Jaguar and Baccaro pounding away on each other hard. Jaguar gets the early advantage in the brawling, pounding Baccaro back into the ropes.

Troy: Alright folks, this match is standard fatal fourway elimination rules. Anyone can tag ANYONE into the match, and when one member of a team is eliminated, the entire team must return to the locker room.

Hosemann: It’s sure to be quite the interesting match,
Troy, and should give us an interesting idea of where things stand heading into Forsaken.

Jaguar whips Baccaro off the ropes and downs him with a big back body drop that energizes the crowd! Baccaro gets up and Jaguar quickly clotheslines him down! This is all Baccaro needs to see this early, and he quickly retreats to his corner and tags in his partner Solomon. The crowd buzzes at the matchup, and cheers when Solomon and Jaguar meet up in the center of the ring. Jaguar throws the first punch, budging Solomon slightly, before Solomon bounces back with a big knee to the midsection. Solomon grabs Jaguar and whips him into the ropes, following him in with a crushing splash. Solomon then lifts Jaguar over his head and bashes him down with a big gorilla press slam. Solomon then notices Mike Griffin reaching out, begging for a tag, so the Alaskan Monster obliges and tags Hollywood into the ring.

Troy: Certainly no love lost here.

Hosemann: None at all. These men have met many a time in their career, and love the opportunity to tear into each other.

Griffin takes advantage of Jaguar’s state, immediately stinging him with big knife-edge chops. He keeps Jaguar off-balance, and unable to strike, and follows up on that by taking Jaguar down with a big overhead belly-to-belly suplex! He throws in a few more stomps for good measure, and tags in his partner Romeo. The fans really buzz as Romeo enters the ring and lines up with his former partner. Romeo grabs Jaguar and whips him hard into the corner. He then walks over, lifts him up, and drops him into the top turnbuckle with snake eyes! Jaguar stumbles forward, but Romeo drills him in the face with a boot! Romeo goes for the cover… one, two, and Jaguar kicks out.

Romeo looks to continue to keep the pressure mounted, lifting Jaguar off the mat and stinging him with chops. However, Jaguar is able to explode and down Romeo with a hard clothesline! Jaguar crawls to the corner, and reaches his partner Tantalus, tagging him into the ring! Tantalus explodes on Romeo, knocking him down repeatedly and blasting him with a big kneelift! Romeo staggers back and tag Scythe into the ring. Scythe and Tantalus waste no time getting it on, slugging it out wildly. Tantalus has the advantage in the early going, but Scythe battles back. However, Tantalus clobbers Scythe back into the ropes, at which point Jason Calysto tags himself in, and the fans cheer loudly as Calysto lines up against Tantalus!

Troy: This should certainly be something now!

Hosemann: Sure should! These are two beloved figures here!

Calysto and Tantalus lock up in the center of the ring and Calysto gets the immediate advantage, taking Tantalus down with a hard armdrag. Tantalus gets up and the two lock up again, this time with Tantalus downing Calysto with an armdrag. The pace quickens, and Calysto whips Tantalus against the ropes. Romeo smacks Tantalus’ back as Tantalus hits the ropes, and as he returns, Calysto nails him with a big back body drop. Calysto sizes him up for the mafia kick, but Romeo enters the ring and rolls up Calysto… one, two, three!

Troy: What just happened?!

Hosemann:
Troy, I think Romeo tagged himself into this match, and now he has just eliminated Jason Calysto!

Calysto is stunned, and he and Scythe are forced to exit. Romeo smirks, but immediately turns around into a boot in the face from Solomon! Solomon then lifts Romeo and destroys him with the Deep Freeze! He covers… one, two, three!

Troy: And now Griffin and Romeo are history!

Hosemann: We’re down to just two teams,
Troy! It’s Solomon and Baccaro against Tantalus and Jaguar!

Tantalus climbs back into the ring and gets in there with Solomon, trying to recreate the magic he had at Revival. However, Solomon will have none of that tonight, bashing him in the skull with a furious big boot. Solomon then lifts Tantalus over his head for a gorilla press slam, but Tantalus reaches out and makes a tag, tagging in Jaguar! Jaguar clips Solomon’s leg out from under him and the fans cheer loudly! Jaguar then stalks in and grabs Solomon for a Carrjack, lifting him for the move! However, Solomon is able to tag Baccaro unbeknownst to Jaguar, just as Jaguar picks him up and sends his head crashing into the mat! The fans cheer wildly, but suddenly, Baccaro enters the ring and rolls up Jaguar… one, two, three!

Troy: You have got to be kidding me!

Hosemann: Baccaro has stolen another one!

The bell sounds and the fans boo raucously as “Things Done Changed” hits and the team of Jackie Baccaro and Solomon is announced the winner. Solomon and Tantalus are writhing on the mat as Vulture grabs the belt and leads Baccaro out of dodge very quickly. Jaguar stands in the ring, hands on his hips, furious about being foiled yet again. He glares at Baccaro angrily as Vulture and Baccaro point to their heads while the cameras fade out.

Hosemann:
Troy, Baccaro is riding quite the lucky streak, and if it continues Saturday night in St. Paul, he’ll walk out of Forsaken with the championship still intact!

Troy: Who knows what’s going to happen, Scott? However, I do know that we’re out of time, folks! See you Saturday night on pay-per-view for Forsaken and the Seven Deadly Sins match! Goodnight, everybody!

* WINNERS: JACKIE BACCARO & SOLOMON *
