TUESDAY, JANUARY 3, 2006 * WAR MEMORIAL COLISEUM * FORT WAYNE, INDIANA

Back from break, “Things Done Changed” by Notorious BIG hits the speakers, and the fans boo vociferously as the new PWA Champion Jackie Baccaro makes his way to the ring, alongside manager Vulture. We can see Romeo, Hollywood Mike Griffin, Solomon, and managers Justin Schenck and Walter Gindin already ringside for this eight-man tag team main event. As Baccaro removes his belt and hands it to Vulture, the remix of Daisuke Ishiwatari's “Be Just or Be Dead” hits and Scythe emerges to a round of boos from the capacity crowd. Scythe ignores the crowd as he heads down the ramp and stops at the foot of it. Then, “F*ckin in the Bushes” by Oasis hits and The Iceman Jason Calysto emerges to a thunderous ovation, taking his place next to Scythe. Scythe and Calysto look at each other uneasily as “I’m On It” by the Purple-Ribbon All-Stars hits and Jaguar emerges to a huge response from the capacity crowd, heading down the aisle. Finally, “Hey You” by Simon Says hits and Greg Tantalus emerges, darting down the aisle and immediately sliding into the ring, prompting the bell to sound.

Troy: Alright, here we go! This should be an electric 10-man tag team match!

Hosemann: Considering the fact that these eight will comprise the Seven Deadly Sins match at Forsaken on January 21, you’re absolutely right!

* GREG TANTALUS, JAGUAR, JASON CALYSTO & SCYTHE VS. PWA CHAMPION JACKIE BACCARO, SOLOMON, ROMEO & HOLLYWOOD MIKE GRIFFIN *
Referee: Tom Stevens
As the ring eventually clears, we are left with Greg Tantalus pounding away on the new champion Baccaro, with the fans cheering loudly. Tantalus won’t allow Baccaro back to his feet, and that’s just how the fans want it, rooting for the former PWA Champion to tear the new one to pieces. Finally, with a well-timed low blow, Baccaro provides some distance between himself and Tantalus, and makes it to the corner to tag in Solomon. The Alaskan Monster, who has a bit of revenge on his own mind, immediately blasts Tantalus in the jaw with a furious boot, knocking him down hard. Solomon then lifts Tantalus off the mat and whips him into the corner hard, following him in with a hard, crushing splash. Solomon then grabs Tantalus’ head and shoves it down to the mat, peppering him with stomps. Solomon whips Tantalus into the corner again and splashes him hard, before lifting him off the mat and heaving him across the ring! Tantalus lands in his own corner, and can’t make a tag, but Jaguar reaches out and tags himself in, getting in there with Solomon!

Troy: Alright, this should be good! It’s Jaguar and Solomon!

Hosemann: Last year at Revival, Jaguar was the first man to beat Solomon, ending his long undefeated streak. This year, only two others have done so, and they comprise Jaguar’s entire team, outside of Scythe, who famously lost the PWA title to Solomon in an Iron Man match at Hellbent 2004.

Jaguar and Solomon lock up, and Solomon gets the better of the initial exchange, shoving Jaguar to the mat. However, Jaguar is able to spring himself right back to his feet and bash Solomon in the jaw with a big right hand, staggering him. Jaguar continues to pepper the big man with rights until he can whip him against the ropes, downing him with a big clothesline as he returns! Jaguar then bounces off the ropes and nails a hard elbow smash on Solomon! Jaguar goes for the cover… one, two, and Solomon heaves Jaguar off. Jaguar is persistent, however, so Solomon goes to the corner and tags in Romeo.

Troy: Whoa! Here we go!

Hosemann: The Hot Boy$ are gonna go at it one more time!

Jaguar and Romeo lock up in the center of the ring, and Jaguar establishes the immediate advantage, tying Romeo into a headlock. However, Romeo powers out of it and shoves Jaguar into the ropes. Romeo leapfrogs over him as he returns, but turns around and is floored by a big Jaguar clothesline! Jaguar then tosses Romeo into the ropes and nails him with a belly to belly suplex as he returns! Romeo quickly gets to his feet and looks to lock up again, but instead of doing so, points at Jason Calysto and says he wants him in the ring. Jaguar obliges, tagging Calysto into the fray, who quickly goes at it with the man he defeated three nights ago at Revival. Calysto backs Romeo up with hard initial knife-edge chops, but Romeo comes back in a big way, bashing Calysto with repeated knee lifts to provide separation. Romeo then whips Calysto against the ropes and downs him with a hard powerslam as he returns. Romeo continues to work over a downed Calysto, until Mike Griffin asks for the tag. After a brief hesitation, Romeo tags Hollywood into the ring, who immediately goes to work on Calysto.

Troy: Alright, here comes
Hollywood Mike Griffin.

Hosemann: Yup, and Troy,
Griffin is coming off a huge victory over The Miracle Mike Troha at Revival.

Troy: It certainly was a fantastic match, with Griffin earning the hard-fought victory, so hard-fought that Troha isn’t even here tonight, at home convalescing after taking a pretty tough beating at Revival.

Hosemann:
Griffin took quite the beating himself, but we’re sure Troha will be fine, and he should be back next week. I wonder if the issue with them is settled now, or if Troha is not satisfied.

Troy: I don’t see how he could be satisfied with a loss, Scott. I’d imagine Troha is not done with
Griffin by a long shot.

Griffin lifts Calysto and ties him in an abdominal stretch, working him over hard. Calysto tries to battle out of it, but once he does, Griffin immediately bashes him with elbows to the midsection, making it impossible for Calysto to completely escape. Griffin whips Calysto into the corner and begins stinging him with repeated furious knife-edge chops that reverberate throughout the arena. Calysto stumbles forward, and Griffin grabs him, downing him with a big overhead belly-to-belly suplex. With Calysto down, and seemingly out, Griffin goes to the top rope, looking for a flying elbow smash. However, as Griffin leaps off with the maneuver, Calysto moves out of the way!

Troy: He moved! This is his chance! Calysto needs to make a tag now!

Hosemann: And so does
Griffin!

Calysto crawls over to his corner, and Griffin does the same. Griffin reaches his corner first, tagging in the PWA Champion Jackie Baccaro. Baccaro enters the ring and darts at Calysto, but as he does so, Calysto tags in Scythe! The fans both cheer and boo as Scythe enters the ring, but quickly begin cheering rabidly as a melee breaks out! Griffin and Calysto get up and continue brawling, which leads to the ring filling up with all eight combatants! As the referee struggles to maintain order, GI Jew comes storming down the aisle, darts into the ring, and Gores Scythe to the mat! Jew then exits as Baccaro covers Scythe amidst the confusion! The referee counts… one, two, three!

Troy: What?! I don’t believe it! Jackie Baccaro has pinned Scythe, and his team of Solomon, Romeo, and Griffin have won, thanks to GI Jew!

Hosemann:
Troy, I guess Jew didn’t care that several of his friends are on Scythe’s team; he wanted to exact some revenge on Scythe for Revival any way he could!

The fans boo as “Things Done Changed” hits and Baccaro and Vulture exit victoriously, not wanted to get involved with any other brawling. The brawling in the ring continues as Scythe continues to lay nearly motionless, with Jaguar, Calysto, and Tantalus ultimately clearing the ring. “Simon Says” then hits after Scythe exits the ring, and the three beloved superstars receive a round of applause from the crowd, though unable to hide their noticeable frustration and disappointment as we take a commercial break.
* WINNERS VIA PINFALL: JACKIE BACCARO, SOLOMON, ROMEO &
HOLLYWOOD MIKE GRIFFIN *

-- COMMERCIAL BREAK --

Back from break, the camera catches GI Jew storming through the backstage area. Jaguar, Jason Calysto, and Greg Tantalus corner him, enraged.

Jaguar: What the hell did you do out there?!

Calysto: You cost us the damn match!

Tantalus: What’s the deal, Jew?!

Jew: All of you, back off! I don’t answer to anyone! My beef is with Scythe, and I did what I had to do tonight! In fact, I’m issuing a challenge to him right now. I want his ass, one-on-one next week, with his spot in the Seven Deadly Sins match on the line.

With that, Jew storms off.

Troy: Whoa! What a challenge!

Hosemann: I wonder if Scythe will accept,
Troy!

Troy: Well, we’ll find out soon! We’ll be right back, folks!

-- COMMERCIAL BREAK --

Back from commercial, “Footprints” by G-Unit blasts onto the speakers, and the fans begin cheering loudly!

Troy: Alright, welcome back, folks! It looks like Showtime Damon Savage is on his way out here!

Hosemann: He is,
Troy, and he can’t be happy about the way his match panned out at Revival. Biamonte got himself intentionally disqualified to hang onto the International title, and Showtime is none too happy.

Troy: Speaking of none too happy, we have received word that Kerry Cox, the Progressive Champion and CEO of this company, was not pleased with the display put on by GI Jew earlier, and will address the audience a little later tonight, in reference to GI Jew’s request for a match with Scythe.

Hosemann: Can’t wait for Cox’s thoughts on that. Definitely will be a must-see.

Showtime grabs a microphone and steps into the ring.

Showtime: So y’all know what happened at Revival, I don’t have to spend much time on that. We all know the deal, people. James Biamonte is scared to death of me, and he knows I would whoop his ass and take that belt away from him, so he does everything in his power to hang onto it. He got himself intentionally disqualified at Revival, and he thinks he’s one up on me. Well, Biamonte, you ain’t getting rid of me that easily. Get your ass out here right now and finish what you started at Revival.

Moments later, “Still Ballin” by 2Pac hits and the fans boo loudly as the International Champion James Biamonte appears at the top of the ramp, alongside Jade.

Jade: Showtime, you never know when to cool it, do you? Not only is James Biamonte done with you in the ring, he’s done speaking to you. So, anything you wish to say to the champ, you can say through me.

Showtime: Fine. I want a rematch. I’m owed a rematch, and you know it.

Jade: Maybe so, but unfortunately, James Biamonte won’t be granting you any future shots at this championship. You’ve proven yourself grossly unworthy.

Showtime: Oh yeah? I thought you might say that. But, Showtime’s got news for the both of you. I just came out of Commissioner Ferrara’s office and guess what? We’re on!
Ferrara saw what happened at Revival, and was just as disgusted as all the people out in the crowd. So, he has chosen to do something about it. At Forsaken, on January 21, Biamonte, it’s gonna be me and you, one-on-one, one more time, for the International Championship. And believe me, Biamonte. This time, nothing is gonna save your ass. At the same pay-per-view I was robbed of the belt last year, this year, I’m going in and taking my belt back, and there ain’t a damn thing you can do about it.

The fans cheer loudly as “Footprints” hits the speakers again and Biamonte and Jade throw a fit at the top of the ramp. Showtime gestures around his waist, a grin on his face, as we head to commercial.

-- COMMERCIAL BREAK --

As we return from break, “More Human Than Human” by White Zombie is playing over the speakers, and Alpha Omega, the team of The Alpha Greg Price and The Omega Steve Beovich, is standing in the ring with manager Justin Schenck. Moments later, “Piggy Bank” by G-Unit blasts onto the speakers and the new PWA Tag Team Champions Renegade and Paul Dawkins make their way to the ring with Liz Rush, met with a huge ovation from the capacity crowd!

Troy: And listen to the fans give it up for Dawkins and Renegade!

Hosemann: These two were able to defeat Army of the Damned at Revival in a big way and finally take these titles, and I couldn’t be happier for them. It’s a long time coming, and I think, back on the same page, that Dawkins and Renegade will be a force in this division for a long time to come.

Troy: Well Scott, let’s see how they fare in their first title defense.

* PWA TAG TEAM CHAMPIONSHIP: PAUL DAWKINS & RENEGADE © VS. ALPHA OMEGA *
Referee: Jason Church
The bell sounds, and Renegade starts the match off with The Alpha Greg Price. Price and Renegade lock up in the center of the ring, and it is Price that gets the early advantage, shoving Renegade to the mat, prompting the fans to boo loudly. Renegade smirks and gets up, shaking it off. The two lock up again, and this time, Renegade downs Price with a hard armdrag. Price gets up and Renegade dropkicks him down, with Price rolling all the way to the outside! The fans cheer and Renegade pumps up the crowd further.

Troy: A hot start for the champions!

Price re-enters the ring, and immediately tags in Beovich. Beovich and Renegade lock up, and Beovich tosses Renegade into the Alpha Omega corner. Beovich begins pounding away on Renegade’s midsection, doubling him over. As Renegade staggers out of the corner, The Omega downs him hard with a belly-to-belly suplex. Beovich then locks in a leg grapevine and refuses to let go, sending Renegade through substantial pain. Renegade pounds the mat in frustration, hoping to propel himself back to his feet. He gets the next best thing, however, getting himself to the ropes and reaching them, prompting the fans to cheer. Beovich has to release Renegade from the hold, and does so begrudgingly. He continues to work him over, not allowing Renegade to establish any momentum, and controls the pace of the matchup. The Omega works over Renegade viciously, keeping him cornered. However, as Beovich charges in, looking to splash Renegade and totally swing the match into Alpha Omega’s advantage, Renegade puts his boot up, staggering Beovich! Then Renegade charges forward and bulldogs Beovich to the mat, creating the opening!

Troy: This is it! Renegade needs to go for the tag right now!

Hosemann: You’re right,
Troy! If he doesn’t get that tag now, it could be history!

Beovich crawls to his corner and immediately tags in Greg Price, who charges at Renegade, trying to prevent him from tagging. However, Renegade is able to reach Dawkins, and tags him in to the joy of the crowd! Dawkins comes in on fire, taking Price down rapidly! Beovich then enters the ring, and Dawkins clotheslines him over the top and out! Turning his attention back to Price, Dawkins whips him into the corner and nails him with the Stinger Splash! Price staggers forward, and Dawkins nails him with the Scud Missile! Then, Dawkins signals for the M.O.A.B., lifts Price up for it, and nails it in the center of the ring! Dawkins covers… one, two, Beovich enters and charges, but Renegade comes in and nails Beovich with a kick to the jaw, three!

Troy: Yes! It’s over! Renegade and Dawkins have done it!

Hosemann: What a victory for the champs!

The fans cheer wildly as “Black” by Sevendust overtakes the speakers and Dawkins and Renegade celebrate their successful title defense with Liz Rush as we take a break.
* WINNERS VIA PINFALL AND STILL TAG TEAM CHAMPIONS: PAUL DAWKINS & RENEGADE *

-- COMMERCIAL BREAK --

Back from our final break, “War Machine” by KISS hits and the fans cheer wildly as the CEO and Progressive Champion of the PWA, Kerry Cox, makes his way to the ring. Cox grabs a microphone and heads into the ring.

Cox: We all saw what happened a little while ago. We were in the midst of a damn good eight-man tag team match, and GI Jew decided to get himself involved, to stick his nose in business that wasn’t his and affect the outcome of the match. We also saw what he did after the match was over, challenging Scythe to a match where his spot in the Seven Deadly Sins match is on the line. And you know what? As much as I disagree with Jew taking the means he took to get his point across, I must say that his point has invariably been taken. So, I have decided that, next week, right here live on Frequency, it will be Scythe against GI Jew, with a berth in the Seven Deadly Sins match on the line!

Troy: Whoa! That’s huge!

Hosemann: I don’t think Scythe is gonna like that one!

Almost on cue, “Be Just or Be Dead” hits for the second time tonight, and Scythe emerges from behind the curtain to a round of boos. Scythe grabs a microphone and joins Cox in the ring.

Scythe: You know, I bet you think I came out here to complain, don’t you?

Cox: Why actually, yes, I do.

Scythe: Well, sorry to disappoint, but I have no intention of complaining. In fact, I applaud your decision. You see, I’m sick of GI Jew. I welcome any opportunity to get into the ring with him and beat him to a bloody pulp to prove my point and prove to the fans that I know the right way to go, that I know Jew’s true character. I care more about destroying GI Jew and everything that he stands for than competing in the Seven Deadly Sins match, so to me, this is a necessary sacrifice.

Cox: And will this be with or without help from Bishop Cross this time?

Scythe: Listen Cox, that help at Revival was unwanted. You can think whatever you want, but Bishop Cross and I don’t see eye to eye on anything. Absolutely nothing. He chose to do what he did, and that was his choice, but I could care less about him. My only concern is GI Jew, next week, and his complete destruction. And you know, I must say that…

Suddenly, GI Jew storms down the aisle, and immediately Gores Scythe to the mat! The fans erupt in thunderous cheers, and Kerry Cox goes nuts, yelling at GI Jew! Jew, however, shoves Cox out of the way and lines up for another Gore! However, before Jew can land it, Bishop Cross appears in the ring, laying Jew out with a lead pipe! The fans boo loudly, and Cross stands over a bloodied Jew, raising the pipe high. Scythe stirs and sees Cross standing over Jew, and a look of disgust appears on his face. Scythe stares scornfully at Cross as the cameras fade to black.

Troy: What’s gonna happen next week?!

Hosemann: I don’t know,
Troy! Scythe and Jew, Seven Deadly Sins spot on the line, and Bishop Cross is the big x-factor!

Troy: He sure is! See you next week, folks!
