3 – BIG
VERNON and SYDESWYPE d. JON
SASS
and MARTIN
BLACKBURN, and THE TYRANT and JOE MALONE in a triple threat match at 6:38. SYDESWYPE pinned MALONE after a
powerbomb. After the match, THE TYRANT and JOE MALONE argued. (Referee: Chris Korbin)
* BACKSTAGE – JOSH MCGUIRE catches up with JACKIE BACCARO backstage, who has advanced to the
finals of the Television Championship tournament tonight against GREG PRICE. BACCARO is anything but modest in the
interview and blows off PRICE as an overrated newcomer, guaranteeing that he will be the first
Television Champion.
* MATCH 4 – NYCW WOMEN’S CHAMPIONSHIP – DANA CHAPMAN © d. TINA HOOVER at 4:18 to
retain the title that she captured from LIZ RUSH this past Tuesday night in a PWA
Frequency dark match, scoring the pinfall with an implant DDT. (Referee: Ethan McKay)
* BACKSTAGE – JOSH MCGUIRE is standing by with GREG PRICE, who battles JACKIE BACCARO for the
Television Championship later tonight. PRICE doesn’t have
much to say, claiming that he will let his actions in the ring speak for him,
rather than run off at the mouth like an ass.
He says that when all is said and done, you will know who is the first
NYCW Television Champion.
* MATCH 5 – NYCW TAG TEAM CHAMPIONSHIP TOURNAMENT – THE OLD SCHOOL © d. ROB GRAVES and ANDREW LIVINGSTON at 6:19 to
retain the title. BOBBY BURRIS pinned GRAVES after ALEX MASON drilled him in
the face with the Tag Team Championship belt. (Referee: Chris Korbin)
* MATCH 6 – NYCW TELEVISION CHAMPIONSHIP TOURNAMENT – FINALS – JACKIE BACCARO d. GREG PRICE at 20:22,
knocking out PRICE with the ring
bell as the referee is incapacitated and putting his unconscious opponent in a
bearhug as referee Corbin Page gets back up, signaling for the bell as PRICE cannot
respond, thus crowning JACKIE BACCARO the first NYCW Television Champion. (Referee: Corbin Page)
* BACKSTAGE – We are taken backstage, where JOSH MCGUIRE is standing
with JON
DULBERG, who is moments away from competing against the team of RYAN and JEFF KNAKAL. DULBERG has a mystery partner to take on his
two cousins, one of whom is the current NYCW Champion, and DULBERG claims that
the NYCW fans will not be disappointed, in this the Human Highlight’s last NYCW
appearance.
* MATCH 7
– NYCW CHAMPION RYAN “THE BOSS” KNAKAL AND JEFF KNAKAL VS. “THE HUMAN
HIGHLIGHT” JON DULBERG AND A MYSTERY PARTNER (Referee: Jim Parris):
After
the Knakals enter to ICONZ’ “Get F*cked Up,” Jon Dulberg comes out and the fans
are bursting with anticipation as to the identity of his mystery partner. Finally, to the delight of the crowd,
Dulberg unveils his mystery partner, the same man that chose him as a mystery
partner Saturday night at PWA Meltdown, “The Impulse” Mike Griffin, making a
one-night-only NYCW appearance! The
fans go ballistic, and never come down, as Griffin hits the ring and he and
Dulberg go crazy on the Knakals. Ryan
and Jeff hold their own for a while, but in the end, it is Mike Griffin forcing
Jeff Knakal to tap to the Culmination as Dulberg has NYCW Champion Ryan Knakal
locked in the Seventh Inning Stretch.
The Knakals tuck tail and flee as Griffin and Dulberg celebrate Dulberg’s
final night in NYCW to his new PWA theme, “Come With Me.”
