* MATCH 3 - NYCW TAG TEAM CHAMPIONSHIP – DA BANDITZ © d. THE TYRANT and THE IRISH ASSASSIN JOE MALONE at 9:15 to
retain the title. JERMAINE HARRIS pinned MALONE with Total
Elimination.
* BACKSTAGE – JOSH MCGUIRE is backstage with BOBBY BURRIS and ALEX MASON, THE OLD SCHOOL. The two claim to not have been impressed with DA BANDITZ or their
victory moments ago. They want one last
title shot with the team, and will hound the champions until they get it. They expect an answer next week.
* BACKSTAGE – NYCW Champion JON DULBERG is backstage, preparing to defend the NYCW Championship against
the monster known as SOLOMON, in a match that DULBERG himself requested, to prove that he would
accept challenges from all comers.
However, as he is preparing, he is assaulted by RYAN KNAKAL, TYRANT, and JOE MALONE, and subsequently
carted off into an ambulance, unable to compete tonight.
* MATCH 4 – NYCW WOMEN’S CHAMPIONSHIP – MEGAN LOVATO © d. TINA HOOVER at 3:49 to
retain the title. LOVATO pinned HOOVER after a roundhouse
kick.
* MATCH 5 –
FRANK BRIGGS d. DEION
YOUNG
via pinfall at 5:19 with a devastating enziguri.
* MATCH 6 – JON SASS d. ANDREW
LIVINGSTON at 7:18 with a powerslam.
This marked SASS’ NYCW debut.
Subsequently, he received a standing ovation from the New York crowd,
not expecting to see the former PWA Progressive Champion.
* RINGSIDE – ICONZ’s “Get F*cked Up” hits and RYAN “THE BOSS” KNAKAL comes out,
alone, boasting about taking out JON DULBERG earlier tonight. He claims that until he gets another shot at
the NYCW Championship, then no one will.
At this, Darkseed’s “Cold Under Water” hits and SOLOMON comes out in a
very bad mood. SOLOMON tells KNAKAL that not only
will he pay for attacking him two weeks ago, but he will pay even more for
costing him a title shot tonight. SOLOMON challenges KNAKAL to meet him
one-on-one right now, with the winner getting the next title shot. KNAKAL agrees and the match begins.
* MATCH 7 –
SOLOMON d. RYAN
KNAKAL at 11:17 with the Deep Freeze.
THE
TYRANT and JOE MALONE quickly showed up at ringside, putting SOLOMON in a predicament. Though he was essentially battling three
men, SOLOMON took them each
out individually, eventually completing the domination by hitting KNAKAL with the Deep
Freeze and pinning him to secure his shot at the NYCW Championship and JON DULBERG one week from
tonight at the Elks Lodge in Elmhurst, New York.
