* MATCH 1 – DEION YOUNG d. RYAN VALENTINE via pinfall at 5:14 with a running
powerslam.
* BACKSTAGE – RYAN “THE BOSS” KNAKAL is interviewed by JOSH MCGUIRE and expresses his outrage at SOLOMON for the match
last week and subsequent gaining of the NYCW title shot that KNAKAL claims is
rightfully his. KNAKAL claims that SOLOMON and JON DULBERG for that
matter haven’t heard the last of him tonight.
* MATCH 2 - THE TYRANT and “THE IRISH ASSASSIN” JOE
MALONE d. ANDREW
LIVINGSTON and BIG VERNON GOODWIN via pinfall at 6:18.
TYRANT pinned GOODWIN after a
full-nelson slam.
* MATCH 3 –
FRANK BRIGGS d. JACKIE
BACCARO via pinfall at 9:17 with a northern lights suplex.
* MATCH 4 – NYCW WOMEN’S CHAMPIONSHIP – LIZ RUSH d. MEGAN LOVATO © at 6:18 to win the title. RUSH pinned LOVATO with a cobra clutch bomb to become a two-time champion.
* BACKSTAGE – JOSH MCGUIRE interviews JON SASS, who badmouths
the PWA for sending him down, claiming that they have no idea what they have
given up. He promises to make the PWA
regret sending him down, and it starts tonight, when he makes an example out of
DYNAMITE DEAN NASH.
* MATCH 5 –
JON SASS d. DYNAMITE
DEAN NASH at 8:19 with the End of the Line powerbomb.
* MATCH 6 –
ROB GRAVES d. KILAUEA at 5:10 with a
reverse neckbreaker.
* RINGSIDE – THE OLD SCHOOL (BOBBY BURRIS and ALEX MASON) comes out and demands that DA BANDITZ give them an answer on their challenge
for another shot at the Tag Team Championship.
Moments later, JERMAINE HARRIS and CHARLES WALKER emerge and tell the OLD SCHOOL that their challenges are getting
old. However, while they don’t like
them, they must admit that they respect them, and thus, they will give them one
last shot at the championship. However,
they want THE
OLD SCHOOL to be ready. The title
shot won’t be next week, and it won’t be the week after that. It will be three weeks from tonight,
Thursday, June 5, at the Roseland Ballroom, and it will be a ladder match.
* MATCH 7 – NYCW HEAVYWEIGHT CHAMPIONSHIP – “THE HUMAN HIGHLIGHT” JON
DULBERG © d. SOLOMON via pinfall at 8:47 to retain the title. After a very competitive match, SOLOMON hit DULBERG with the Deep
Freeze and appeared to have both the match and the title won, but RYAN KNAKAL came out and
attacked the official. As SOLOMON attacked KNAKAL, THE TYRANT and JOE MALONE rush out and a
three-on-one attack on the monster ensued.
After the three men demolish SOLOMON, JERRY GEORGATOS walks out and begins laughing
maniacally. KNAKAL then pulls DULBERG on top of SOLOMON and the
revived official counts the pin. DULBERG wins, but is
immediately tossed out of the ring. JERRY GEORGATOS then enters
the ring and tells SOLOMON that he told him he would get back him. GEORGATOS informs SOLOMON that, as of this moment, he is fired.
