* MATCH 1:  NYCW TAG TEAM CHAMPIONSHIP TOURNAMENT:  ROUND ONE:  THE OLD SCHOOL (BOBBY BURRIS AND ALEX MASON) VS. DEION YOUNG AND RYAN VALENTINE:
As this week’s show begins, we are immediately informed that tonight, we will see the opening rounds of championship tournaments to crowd both NYCW Tag Team Champions and an NYCW Women’s Champion.  Also tonight, we will see a semifinal match in the NYCW Heavyweight Championship tournament, with the winner advancing to meet Solomon next week, March 13, to crown the inaugural champion.  A Women’s Champion will be crowned on March 20, and Tag Team Champions on March 27.  The show opens with the first match in the Tag Team Championship tournament, as the Old School -- Bobby Burris and Alex Mason -- goes up against the team of Deion Young and Ryan Valentine.  Young and Valentine clearly have the crowd on their side in this one, but it proves to mean absolutely nothing, as the technically sound Burris and Mason outwrestle their much larger opponent, with Mason earning the fall, getting Young to submit to a half Boston crab.  The Old School advances to the semifinals.

WINNERS:  THE OLD SCHOOL (6:57)

* BACKSTAGE:
The camera cuts to the backstage area, where an unfamiliar face -- unfamiliar to the NYCW locker room, that is – enters and approaches Jon Dulberg.  The man looks mysteriously very much like a former CAW Heavyweight Champion, and when Dulberg refers to him as “Don,” those suspicions are confirmed.  However, this man informs Dulberg that “Don” is no longer his name, and he is to be known from hereon in as Sonny Valachi.  Valachi explains to Dulberg that he comes here in peace, citing their friendship and working relationship in CAW.  He wants Dulberg to know that he has his back tonight.  Dulberg thanks him and Valachi walks away, but Dulberg is skeptical.

* MATCH 2:  NYCW WOMEN’S CHAMPIONSHIP TOURNAMENT:  BATTLE ROYAL:  JENNY OTTATI VS. TINA HOOVER VS. JESSICA TILLMAN VS. JILLIAN CLAY:

The Women’s Championship tournament begins with a four-person battle royal, the winner of which advances to the finals in two weeks.  Jillian Clay is the only non-wrestler in the ring in this one, and it shows.  Jessica Tillman dominates her from the opening bell, and tosses her over the top effortlessly, eliminating her.  Tillman’s celebration doesn’t last long, as Tina Hoover eliminates her shortly thereafter.  This leaves Jenny Ottati and Tina Hoover, who battle furiously, both in hot pursuit of a berth in the Women’s Championship match on March 20.  However, in the end, it is Ottati that prevails, reversing a whip by Hoover, and launching her over the top rope to pick up the victory.

WINNER:  JENNY OTTATI (4:38)

* MATCH 3:  NYCW TAG TEAM CHAMPIONSHIP TOURNAMENT:  ROUND ONE:  D-UNIT (MAVERICK AND DARKSTAR) VS. KILAUEA AND BIG VERNON GOODWIN:
The talented newcomers Maverick and Darkstar are impressive in this outing, having their way with Kilauea and Goodwin, two big men.  Of course, it doesn’t hurt that D-Unit’s massive bodyguard Bubbles is at ringside for this entire contest and not above getting physically involved.  The finish sees Bubbles enter the ring during a ref bump and knock Kilauea out, leading to a D-Unit Splash from Maverick and the victory.  D-Unit advances to meet the winner of the match between Da Banditz and Martin Blackburn and Roland Holcomb next week.
WINNERS:  D-UNIT (7:25)

* BACKSTAGE:
The camera once again spots Sonny Valachi, who is now backstage with D-Gunz.  In a shocking and intriguing moment, Valachi hands D-Gunz a considerable amount of money and thanks him for his cooperation.  What could this mean?

* MATCH 4:  NYCW TAG TEAM CHAMPIONSHIP TOURNAMENT:  ROUND ONE:  DAMIEN FIELDS AND DAMON SAVAGE VS. ROB GRAVES AND FRANK BRIGGS:
The crowd is heavily against the brash and cocky Fields and Savage, with Fields being an ultra-sadistic former football star hailing from Phoenix, and Savage being an almost obnoxiously vain former boxing Golden Gloves winner.  Their opponents, however, are not nearly as compatible.  Rob Graves is a Connecticut born biker with a shaved head and a bad attitude, while Frank Briggs is the most enormous athlete to every come out of Calgary… Alberta, Canada, whose attitude and temper has already ended one career.  The match is hard-fought, but the constant bickering between Graves and Briggs leads to Briggs snapping and laying out his partner, securing the easy victory for Fields and Savage, to the ultimate disdain of the crowd.
WINNERS:  DAMIEN FIELDS AND DAMON SAVAGE (8:03)

* BACKSTAGE:
Jenny Ottati is busy celebrating her victory backstage, when Allison Kelly approaches her.  Kelly belittles Ottati, and informs her that she has absolutely no chance of winning the women’s title, for Allison herself will win her battle royal tonight and then proceed to tear Jenny limb from limb.  When she has said her peace, Allison suckers Jenny in and slaps her right to the ground, infuriating Ottati as Allison Kelly heads to the ring.

* MATCH 5:  NYCW WOMEN’S CHAMPIONSHIP TOURNAMENT:  BATTLE ROYAL:  ALLISON KELLY VS. LI MEI VS. LIZ RUSH VS. DANA CHAPMAN:
From the moment the match begins, Allison Kelly is dominant.  She effortlessly disposes of Li Mei in the opening moments, before doing the same to Dana Chapman shortly thereafter.  However, Liz Rush proves to be more difficult.  Rush and Kelly battle furiously, until Allison finally establishes the advantage and prepares to dump Liz out.  At this point, Jenny Ottati wanders to ringside, distracting Allison long enough for Liz Rush to dump her over the top rope and score the upset victory to advance to the finals of the Women’s Championship tournament against Jenny Ottati in two weeks.  Needless to say, Allison Kelly is furious.
WINNER:  LIZ RUSH (4:43)

* BACKSTAGE:
Reporter Josh McGuire gets a word with Dynamite Dean Nash, who in just a moment will step into the ring with the number one contender to the NYCW Heavyweight Championship, Solomon.  Nash says that he is giving up a lot of size, but one thing he has advantage in is heart.  He promises to shock the world tonight and defeat Solomon.

* MATCH 6:  DYNAMITE DEAN NASH VS. SOLOMON:
Dynamite Dean Nash truly gives everything he’s got in this one.  He wrestles as hard as he possibly can, but it simply is not enough.  Not against a 6’9” 293-pound monster like Solomon.  Nash has his moments in this one, but Solomon gets the job done, putting Nash out for the count with the Deep Freeze and hushing the New York crowd.
WINNER:  SOLOMON (6:23)

* MATCH 7:  NYCW TAG TEAM CHAMPIONSHIP TOURNAMENT:  ROUND ONE:  DA BANDITZ (JERMAINE HARRIS AND CHARLES WALKER) VS. MARTIN BLACKBURN AND ROLAND HOLCOMB:
The crowd makes it known from the get-go that they simply do not like Martin Blackburn, his manager Jillian Clay, or Roland Holcomb.  Da Banditz, on the other hand, they absolutely adore.  Jermaine Harris and Charles Walker light up the Hammerstein Ballroom again this week, overcoming the interference of Jillian Clay and the shady tactics of Blackburn and Holcomb to finish off their opponents with a variation of Total Elimination.  Da Banditz move on to face D-Unit next week.
 WINNERS:  DA BANDITZ (7:31)

* MATCH 8:  NYCW HEAVYWEIGHT CHAMPIONSHIP TOURNAMENT:  SEMIFINALS:  THE TYRANT VS. D-GUNZ VS. ANDREW LIVINGSTON VS. JON DULBERG VS. ANTHONY “BK” DESIO:
The winner of this match meets Solomon for the NYCW Championship next week, the four losers are eliminated.  The match is contested under the same rules that the NYCW Championship tournament has existed under over the past few weeks.  The Tyrant and D-Gunz are the first two out, battling furiously, each man desperate to score the first victory.  The Tyrant does a lot in this match to convince people that he is truly one of NYCW’s best and a better competitor than D-Gunz, but the big Salida, Colorado native proves otherwise, finishing Tyrant off with a chokeslam.  Or so we think.  When D-Gunz goes for the cover, Solomon storms the ring, creating a momentous distraction.  By the time Solomon can be removed from ringside, Tyrant has recovered and hits D-Gunz with a big full nelson slam, scoring the pin!  Andrew Livingston enters next and looks to destroy any momentum Tyrant might have.  However, it is exactly that momentum that does Livingston in, becoming a quick victim of the full nelson slam and advancing Tyrant even further.  Jon Dulberg is the next out and takes advantage of the fact that this is the third consecutive match that Tyrant has wrestled.  Wearing the big man down by keeping the pace of the match quick, Dulberg hits his Sudden Death top rope attack, getting a huge victory over Tyrant to advance on.  Anthony “BK” Desio enters, completing the first go-round.  Desio fights great and hard, but Dulberg catches him with the Play of the Day and moves on to his third match.  D-Gunz enters for the second time of the night, facing elimination and desperately needing the win.  With that said, D-Gunz destroys Dulberg with a monstrous chokeslam, giving all five competitors a loss, meaning they all now face elimination.  Andrew Livingston enters next and battles D-Gunz, with the loser simply going home.  Livingston gives it his best, but D-Gunz catches him with a chokeslam, officially eliminating Livingston from the tournament.  The Tyrant comes out next, looking to repeat his performance against D-Gunz from earlier in the night, but D-Gunz avenges his loss, pinning Tyrant with a big chokeslam, and eliminating him.  Anthony Desio comes out and gets very physical with D-Gunz, doing a lot to wear him down and keep him off base, but Desio makes one mistake and gets chokeslammed to hell because of it.  D-Gunz eliminates Desio, bringing us down to D-Gunz vs. Jon Dulberg.  D-Gunz and Dulberg fight hard, until Dulberg puts D-Gunz in the Seventh Inning Stretch.  After only ten seconds in the hold, D-Gunz taps out and Dulberg wins!  Shocked that he won, Dulberg launches into a celebration, knowing that he will meet Solomon for the NYCW Championship next week.  As Dulberg celebrates, Sonny Valachi appears at the top of the ramp, applauding Dulberg.  Dulberg looks at Valachi suspiciously as Valachi exchanges a nod with D-Gunz and the show comes to a close.
WINNER:  JON DULBERG (24:03)
