Bio: Second generation star Mike Griffin initially resisted following his father into the wrestling business until his late 20s, at which point it became abundantly clear that this was what he was born to do. He made his way to CAW in 2001, and made an instantaneous impact as part of TFU with Greg Tantalus and Mike Troha, before becoming an integral player in the CAW-FSW war, ultimately merging the two championships together the night the companies did the same. When PWA launched in 2002, The Impulse Mike Griffin was on the initial broadcast, and was one of the company's most popular stars. However, Griffin soon caught the acting bug, and his transformation into the arrogant movie star Hollywood Mike Griffin began. Eventually, though Griffin made his peace with the fans at Everlasting Epic V, reforming TFU with Tantalus to capture the Tag Team Championship yet again. However, that partnership was thrown into jeopardy when Griffin shockingly appeared on PWA: The Rebirth, siding with creative director Justin Schenck in his war against Tantalus. After losing to Tantalus at Everlasting Epic VI, but shaking his hand after the defeat, Griffin appeared to be back on the same page as Tantalus. However, Griffin soon learned that Tantalus isn’t the forgiving type, and was one of the first casualties of Tantalus’ reformed SIN. He returned in time for Everlasting Epic VII and was slated to compete on Schenck’s gauntlet team against SIN, but accepted a movie role a week before the event and no-showed. Despite this, Schenck has signed Griffin to a binding contract for season three, but it remains to be seen whether or not anyone in the locker room welcomes him back.
