Bio: A living legend in PWA circles, The Iceman Jason Calysto was the first man to ever hold the PWA World Heavyweight Championship, and was one victory away from being the last man to hold it as well when the company closed in 2006. After losing the gold that night to Jaguar in one of the greatest matches in company history, Calysto quietly entered retirement, walking away from the business after a storied Hall of Fame career. When the PWA re-opened its doors four years later with The Rebirth, Calysto signed on as a color commentator, maintaining his connection with the fans. However, within two months, The Iceman was lured away from the broadcast table and back into the ring. After defeating GI Jew in his first match back, The Iceman teamed up with longtime friend Vulture to topple Jackie Baccaro and Chris Duval for the PWA Tag Team Championship at Everlasting Epic VI. The feel-good story didn’t last long, however, as the Hall of Famers dropped the titles to Texas Justice shortly into season two, and then found themselves on opposite sides when Vulture chose to reform SIN with Greg Tantalus. The two clashed in the main event of Everlasting Epic VII, and it was Calysto who walked away champion. Now, the five-time kingpin will return to The Rebirth for season three looking to stay at the top of the PWA for as long as possible.
