Bio: A second generation warrior, Juan Pablo Alvarez is the son of legendary Mexican grappler El Valiente. Alvarez arrived in the PWA at the start of The Rebirth’s second season under the Valiente mask, dubbing himself El Valiente Jr. However, he immediately suffered the dishonor of being unmasked, losing it to Asai Moon. Unable to deal with the dishonor, Alvarez flew off the deep end and committed his life to getting revenge on Moon. Disowned by his family, Alvarez has evolved into one of the most mentally unstable members of the PWA roster, making him also one of the most dangerous, something Matthew Magellan found out firsthand when Alvarez defeated him for the Progressive Championship late in season two. Then, despite entering his Everlasting Epic VII title defense against Asai Moon, Dexter Wellington, and Saif al Abbad as an underdog, Alvarez found a way to walk away with the title intact. Juan Pablo Alvarez will return for season three with the Progressive title still intact, and it begs the question: who can wrest the championship from the Mexican menace?.
