3-time PWA Women's Champion
Bio: In early 2003, 20-year-old Allison Kelly took the PWA by storm, immediately toppling Kayne to win the Women's Championship. On a mission to "clean up the PWA, one raunchy bitch at a time," she then proceeded to reign supreme over the division for the rest of the year, earning huge victories over well-respected female competitors such as Magnifica, Lauren Tantalus, Jade, and Dee Licious. She held the championship for nine months, save two brief interruptions, to become the first three-time Women's Champion in PWA history. When she was finally beaten soundly by Lauren Tantalus for the gold at Revival in December 2003, it was expected they would spend most of the winter and spring engaged in rematches, trading the belt back and forth. Tragically, it was not to be, as Allison was diagnosed with a sarcoma, a rare form of cancer, just weeks later. She took a leave of absence from PWA while she underwent treatment, but was never able to return, passing away from the disease in October 2004. Since her reign, no woman, save arguably for Keiko Ishida, has dominated the division in such a one-sided fashion, and because of that, Allison was enshrined with a Hall of Fame induction in 2005. Though she left us far too soon, Allison Kelly left a lasting legacy as the standard-bearer of the PWA's women's division.
